耶和华第二次显现

¹所罗门建造耶和华殿和王宫，并一切所愿意建造的都完毕了，Now when Solomon had finished building the house of the LORD and the royal palace, and had achieved all that he had desired to do,

²耶和华就二次向所罗门显现，如先前在基遍向他显现一样，the LORD appeared to him a second time, as He had appeared to him at Gibeon.

³对他说：“你向我所祷告祈求的，我都应允了。我已将你所建的这殿分别为圣，使我的名永远在其中；我的眼、我的心也必常在那里。And the LORD said to him: “I have heard your prayer and petition before Me. I have consecrated this temple, which you have built, by putting My Name there forever; My eyes and My heart will be there for all time.

⁴你若效法你父大卫，存诚实正直的心行在我面前，遵行我一切所吩咐你的，谨守我的律例典章，And as for you, if you walk before Me as your father David walked, with a heart of integrity and uprightness, doing all I have commanded you, and if you keep My statutes and ordinances,

⁵我就必坚固你的国位在以色列中，直到永远，正如我应许你父大卫说：‘你的子孙必不断人坐以色列的国位。’then I will establish your royal throne over Israel forever, as I promised your father David when I said, ‘You will never fail to have a man on the throne of Israel.’

⁶倘若你们和你们的子孙转去不跟从我，不守我指示你们的诫命律例，去事奉敬拜别神，But if indeed you or your sons turn away from following Me and do not keep the commandments and statutes I have set before you, and if you go off to serve and worship other gods,

⁷我就必将以色列人从我赐给他们的地上剪除，并且我为己名所分别为圣的殿也必舍弃不顾，使以色列人在万民中作笑谈，被讥诮。then I will cut off Israel from the land that I have given them, and I will banish from My presence this temple I have sanctified for My Name. Then Israel will become an object of scorn and ridicule among all peoples.

⁸这殿虽然甚高，将来经过的人必惊讶、嗤笑，说：‘耶和华为何向这地和这殿如此行呢？’And when this temple has become a heap of rubble, all who pass by it will be appalled and will hiss and say, ‘Why has the LORD done such a thing to this land and to this temple?’

⁹人必回答说：‘是因此地的人离弃领他们列祖出埃及地之耶和华—他们的　神，去亲近别神，事奉敬拜他，所以耶和华使这一切灾祸临到他们。’”And others will answer, ‘Because they have forsaken the LORD their God who brought their fathers out of the land of Egypt, and have embraced other gods, worshiping and serving them—because of this, the LORD has brought all this disaster upon them.’”

送给希兰的城邑

¹⁰所罗门建造耶和华殿和王宫，这两所二十年才完毕了。Now at the end of the twenty years during which Solomon built these two houses, the house of the LORD and the royal palace,

¹¹泰尔王希兰曾照所罗门所要的，资助他香柏木、松木，和金子；所罗门王就把加利利地的二十座城给了希兰。King Solomon gave twenty towns in the land of Galilee to Hiram king of Tyre, who had supplied him with cedar and cypress logs and gold for his every desire.

¹²希兰从泰尔出来，察看所罗门给他的城邑，就不喜悦，So Hiram went out from Tyre to inspect the towns that Solomon had given him, but he was not pleased with them.

¹³说：“我兄啊，你给我的是什么城邑呢？”他就给这城邑之地起名叫迦步勒，直到今日。“What are these towns you have given me, my brother?” asked Hiram, and he called them the Land of Cabul, as they are called to this day.

¹⁴希兰给所罗门一百二十他连得金子。And Hiram had sent the king 120 talents of gold.

所罗门的工程和服苦的人

¹⁵所罗门王挑取服苦的人，是为建造耶和华的殿、自己的宫、米罗、耶路撒冷的城墙、夏琐、米吉多，并基色。This is the account of the forced labor that King Solomon imposed to build the house of the LORD, his own palace, the supporting terraces, and the wall of Jerusalem, as well as Hazor, Megiddo, and Gezer.

¹⁶先前埃及王法老上来攻取基色，用火焚烧，杀了城内居住的迦南人，将城赐给他女儿所罗门的妻作妆奁。Pharaoh king of Egypt had attacked and captured Gezer. He had set it on fire, killed the Canaanites who lived in the city, and given it as a dowry to his daughter, Solomon’s wife.

¹⁷所罗门建造基色、下伯·和仑、So Solomon rebuilt Gezer, Lower Beth-horon,

¹⁸巴拉，并国中旷野里的达莫，Baalath, and Tamar in the Wilderness of Judah,

¹⁹又建造所有的积货城，并屯车和马兵的城，与耶路撒冷、黎巴嫩，以及自己治理的全国中所愿建造的。as well as all the store cities that Solomon had for his chariots and horses—whatever he desired to build in Jerusalem, Lebanon, and throughout the land of his dominion.

²⁰至于国中所剩下不属以色列人的亚摩利人、赫人、比利洗人、希未人、耶布斯人，As for all the people who remained of the Amorites, Hittites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites (the people who were not Israelites)—

²¹就是以色列人不能灭尽的，所罗门挑取他们的后裔作服苦的奴仆，直到今日。their descendants who remained in the land, those whom the Israelites were unable to devote to destruction—Solomon conscripted these people to be forced laborers, as they are to this day.

²²惟有以色列人，所罗门不使他们作奴仆，乃是作他的战士、臣仆、统领、军长、车兵长、马兵长。But Solomon did not consign any of the Israelites to slavery, because they were his men of war, his servants, his officers, his captains, and the commanders of his chariots and cavalry.

²³所罗门有五百五十督工的，监管工人。They were also the chief officers over Solomon’s projects: 550 supervisors over the people who did the work.

²⁴法老的女儿从大卫城搬到所罗门为她建造的宫里。那时，所罗门才建造米罗。As soon as Pharaoh’s daughter had come up from the City of David to the palace that Solomon had built for her, he built the supporting terraces.

²⁵所罗门每年三次在他为耶和华所筑的坛上献燔祭和平安祭，又在耶和华面前的坛上烧香。这样，他建造殿的工程完毕了。Three times a year Solomon offered burnt offerings and peace offerings on the altar he had built for the LORD, burning incense with them before the LORD. So he completed the temple.

所罗门的船队

²⁶所罗门王在以东地红海边，靠近以禄的以旬·迦别制造船只。King Solomon also assembled a fleet of ships at Ezion-geber, which is near Eloth in Edom, on the shore of the Red Sea.

²⁷希兰差遣他的仆人，就是熟悉泛海的船家，与所罗门的仆人一同坐船航海。And Hiram sent his servants, sailors who knew the sea, to serve in the fleet with Solomon’s servants.

²⁸他们到了俄斐，从那里得了四百二十他连得金子，运到所罗门王那里。They sailed to Ophir and imported gold from there—420 talents—and delivered it to Solomon.

示巴女王来访

¹示巴女王听见所罗门因耶和华之名所得的名声，就来要用难解的话试问所罗门。Now when the queen of Sheba heard about the fame of Solomon concerning the name of the LORD, she came to test him with difficult questions.

²跟随她到耶路撒冷的人甚多，又有骆驼驮着香料、宝石，和许多金子。她来见了所罗门王，就把心里所有的对所罗门都说出来。She arrived in Jerusalem with a very large caravan—with camels bearing spices, gold in great abundance, and precious stones. And she came to Solomon and spoke to him all that was on her mind.

³所罗门王将她所问的都答上了，没有一句不明白、不能答的。And Solomon answered all her questions; nothing was too difficult for the king to explain.

⁴示巴女王见所罗门大有智慧，和他所建造的宫室，When the queen of Sheba saw all the wisdom of Solomon, the palace he had built,

⁵席上的珍馐美味，群臣分列而坐，仆人两旁侍立，以及他们的衣服装饰和酒政的衣服装饰，又见他上耶和华殿的台阶（或译：他在耶和华殿里所献的燔祭），就诧异得神不守舍；the food at his table, the seating of his servants, the service and attire of his attendants, his cupbearers, and the burnt offerings he presented at the house of the LORD, it took her breath away.

⁶对王说：“我在本国里所听见论到你的事和你的智慧实在是真的！She said to the king, “The report I heard in my own country about your words and wisdom is true.

⁷我先不信那些话，及至我来亲眼见了才知道人所告诉我的还不到一半。你的智慧和你的福分越过我所听见的风声。But I did not believe these things until I came and saw with my own eyes. Indeed, not even half was told to me. Your wisdom and prosperity have far exceeded the report I heard.

⁸你的臣子、你的仆人常侍立在你面前听你智慧的话是有福的！How blessed are your men! How blessed are these servants of yours who stand continually before you and hear your wisdom!

⁹耶和华—你的　神是应当称颂的！他喜悦你，使你坐以色列的国位；因为他永远爱以色列，所以立你作王，使你秉公行义。”Blessed be the LORD your God, who has delighted in you to set you on the throne of Israel. Because of the LORD’s eternal love for Israel, He has made you king to carry out justice and righteousness.”

¹⁰于是，示巴女王将一百二十他连得金子和宝石，与极多的香料，送给所罗门王。她送给王的香料，以后奉来的不再有这样多。Then she gave the king 120 talents of gold, a great quantity of spices, and precious stones. Never again were spices in such abundance brought in as those the queen of Sheba gave to King Solomon.

¹¹（希兰的船只从俄斐运了金子来，又从俄斐运了许多檀香木（或译：乌木；下同）和宝石来。(The fleet of Hiram that brought gold from Ophir also brought from Ophir a great cargo of almug wood and precious stones.

¹²王用檀香木为耶和华殿和王宫做栏杆，又为歌唱的人做琴瑟。以后再没有这样的檀香木进国来，也没有人看见过，直到如今。）The king made the almug wood into steps for the house of the LORD and for the king’s palace, and into lyres and harps for the singers. Never before had such almug wood been brought in, nor has such been seen again to this day.)

¹³示巴女王一切所要所求的，所罗门王都送给她，另外照自己的厚意馈送她。于是女王和她臣仆转回本国去了。King Solomon gave the queen of Sheba all she desired—whatever she asked—besides what he had given her out of his royal bounty. Then she left and returned to her own country, along with her servants.

所罗门的财富

¹⁴所罗门每年所得的金子共有六百六十六他连得。The weight of gold that came to Solomon each year was 666 talents,

¹⁵另外还有商人和杂族（杂族在历代下九章十四节是阿拉伯）的诸王，与国中的省长所进的金子。not including the revenue from the merchants, traders, and all the Arabian kings and governors of the land.

¹⁶所罗门王用锤出来的金子打成挡牌二百面，每面用金子六百舍客勒；King Solomon made two hundred large shields of hammered gold; six hundred shekels of gold went into each shield.

¹⁷又用锤出来的金子打成盾牌三百面，每面用金子三弥那，都放在黎巴嫩林宫里。He also made three hundred small shields of hammered gold; three minas of gold went into each shield. And the king put them in the House of the Forest of Lebanon.

象牙宝座

¹⁸王用象牙制造一个宝座，用精金包裹。Additionally, the king made a great throne of ivory and overlaid it with pure gold.

¹⁹宝座有六层台阶，座的后背是圆的，两旁有扶手，靠近扶手有两个狮子站立。The throne had six steps, and its back had a rounded top. There were armrests on both sides of the seat, with a lion standing beside each armrest.

²⁰六层台阶上有十二个狮子站立，每层有两个：左边一个，右边一个；在列国中没有这样做的。Twelve lions stood on the six steps, one at either end of each step. Nothing like this had ever been made for any kingdom.

²¹所罗门王一切的饮器都是金子的。黎巴嫩林宫里的一切器皿都是精金的。所罗门年间，银子算不了什么。All King Solomon’s drinking cups were gold, and all the utensils of the House of the Forest of Lebanon were pure gold. There was no silver, because it was accounted as nothing in the days of Solomon.

²²因为王有他施船只与希兰的船只一同航海，三年一次，装载金银、象牙、猿猴、孔雀回来。For the king had the ships of Tarshish at sea with Hiram’s fleet, and once every three years the ships of Tarshish would arrive bearing gold, silver, ivory, apes, and peacocks.

²³所罗门王的财宝与智慧胜过天下的列王。So King Solomon surpassed all the kings of the earth in riches and wisdom.

²⁴普天下的王都求见所罗门，要听　神赐给他智慧的话。The whole world sought an audience with Solomon to hear the wisdom that God had put in his heart.

²⁵他们各带贡物，就是金器、银器、衣服、军械、香料、骡马，每年有一定之例。Year after year, each visitor would bring his tribute: articles of silver and gold, clothing, weapons, spices, horses, and mules.

战车和马匹

²⁶所罗门聚集战车马兵，有战车一千四百辆，马兵一万二千名，安置在屯车的城邑和耶路撒冷，就是王那里。Solomon accumulated 1,400 chariots and 12,000 horses, which he stationed in the chariot cities and also with him in Jerusalem.

²⁷王在耶路撒冷使银子多如石头，香柏木多如高原的桑树。The king made silver as common in Jerusalem as stones, and cedar as abundant as sycamore in the foothills.

²⁸所罗门的马是从埃及带来的，是王的商人一群一群按着定价买来的。Solomon’s horses were imported from Egypt and Kue; the royal merchants purchased them from Kue.

²⁹从埃及买来的车，每辆价银六百舍客勒，马每匹一百五十舍客勒。赫人诸王和亚兰诸王所买的车马，也是按这价值经他们手买来的。A chariot could be imported from Egypt for six hundred shekels of silver, and a horse for a hundred and fifty. Likewise, they exported them to all the kings of the Hittites and to the kings of Aram.

跟随耶稣的大群人

¹这事以后，耶稣渡过加利利海，就是提比哩亚海。After this, Jesus crossed to the other side of the Sea of Galilee (that is, the Sea of Tiberias).

²有许多人因为看见他在病人身上所行的神迹，就跟随他。A large crowd followed Him because they saw the signs He was performing on the sick.

³耶稣上了山，和门徒一同坐在那里。Then Jesus went up on the mountain and sat down with His disciples.

⁴那时犹太人的逾越节近了。Now the Jewish Feast of the Passover was near.

从哪里买饼

⁵耶稣举目看见许多人来，就对腓力说：“我们从哪里买饼叫这些人吃呢？”When Jesus looked up and saw a large crowd coming toward Him, He said to Philip, “Where can we buy bread for these people to eat?”

⁶（他说这话是要试验腓力；他自己原知道要怎样行。）But He was asking this to test him, for He knew what He was about to do.

⁷腓力回答说：“就是二十两银子的饼，叫他们各人吃一点也是不够的。”Philip answered, “Two hundred denarii would not buy enough bread for each of them to have a small piece.”

⁸有一个门徒，就是西门·彼得的兄弟安得烈，对耶稣说：One of His disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, said to Him,

⁹“在这里有一个孩童，带着五个大麦饼、两条鱼，只是分给这许多人还算什么呢？”“Here is a boy with five barley loaves and two small fish. But what difference will these make among so many?”

五千人吃饱

¹⁰耶稣说：“你们叫众人坐下。”原来那地方的草多，众人就坐下，数目约有五千。“Have the people sit down,” Jesus said. Now there was plenty of grass in that place, so the men sat down, about five thousand of them.

¹¹耶稣拿起饼来，祝谢了，就分给那坐着的人；分鱼也是这样，都随着他们所要的。Then Jesus took the loaves and the fish, gave thanks, and distributed to those who were seated as much as they wanted.

¹²他们吃饱了，耶稣对门徒说：“把剩下的零碎收拾起来，免得有糟蹋的。”And when everyone was full, He said to His disciples, “Gather the pieces that are left over, so that nothing will be wasted.”

¹³他们便将那五个大麦饼的零碎，就是众人吃了剩下的，收拾起来，装满了十二个篮子。So they collected them and filled twelve baskets with the pieces of the five barley loaves left over by those who had eaten.

众人要立耶稣作王

¹⁴众人看见耶稣所行的神迹，就说：“这真是那要到世间来的先知！”When the people saw the sign that Jesus had performed, they began to say, “Truly this is the Prophet who is to come into the world.”

¹⁵耶稣既知道众人要来强逼他作王，就独自又退到山上去了。Then Jesus, realizing that they were about to come and make Him king by force, withdrew again to a mountain by Himself.

耶稣在海面上走

¹⁶到了晚上，他的门徒下海边去，When evening came, His disciples went down to the sea,

¹⁷上了船，要过海往迦百农去。天已经黑了，耶稣还没有来到他们那里。got into a boat, and started across the sea to Capernaum. It was already dark, and Jesus had not yet gone out to them.

¹⁸忽然狂风大作，海就翻腾起来。A strong wind was blowing, and the sea grew agitated.

¹⁹门徒摇橹，约行了十里多路，看见耶稣在海面上走，渐渐近了船，他们就害怕。When they had rowed about three or four miles, they saw Jesus approaching the boat, walking on the sea—and they were terrified.

²⁰耶稣对他们说：“是我，不要怕！”But Jesus spoke up: “It is I; do not be afraid.”

²¹门徒就喜欢接他上船，船立时到了他们所要去的地方。Then they were willing to take Him into the boat, and at once the boat reached the shore where they were heading.
