所罗门宠爱外邦女子

¹所罗门王在法老的女儿之外，又宠爱许多外邦女子，就是摩押女子、亚扪女子、以东女子、西顿女子、赫人女子。King Solomon, however, loved many foreign women along with the daughter of Pharaoh—women of Moab, Ammon, Edom, and Sidon, as well as Hittite women.

²论到这些国的人，耶和华曾晓谕以色列人说：“你们不可与她们往来相通，因为她们必诱惑你们的心去随从她们的神。”所罗门却恋爱这些女子。These women were from the nations about which the LORD had told the Israelites, “You must not intermarry with them, for surely they will turn your hearts after their gods.” Yet Solomon clung to these women in love.

³所罗门有妃七百，都是公主；还有嫔三百。这些妃嫔诱惑他的心。He had seven hundred wives of royal birth and three hundred concubines—and his wives turned his heart away.

所罗门的心偏离耶和华

⁴所罗门年老的时候，他的妃嫔诱惑他的心去随从别神，不效法他父亲大卫诚诚实实地顺服耶和华—他的　神。For when Solomon grew old, his wives turned his heart after other gods, and he was not wholeheartedly devoted to the LORD his God, as his father David had been.

⁵因为所罗门随从西顿人的女神亚斯她录和亚扪人可憎的神米勒公。Solomon followed Ashtoreth the goddess of the Sidonians and Milcom the abomination of the Ammonites.

⁶所罗门行耶和华眼中看为恶的事，不效法他父亲大卫专心顺从耶和华。So Solomon did evil in the sight of the LORD; unlike his father David, he did not follow the LORD completely.

⁷所罗门为摩押可憎的神基抹和亚扪人可憎的神摩洛，在耶路撒冷对面的山上建筑邱坛。At that time on a hill east of Jerusalem, Solomon built a high place for Chemosh the abomination of Moab and for Molech the abomination of the Ammonites.

⁸他为那些向自己的神烧香献祭的外邦女子，就是他娶来的妃嫔也是这样行。He did the same for all his foreign wives, who burned incense and sacrificed to their gods.

耶和华向所罗门发怒

⁹耶和华向所罗门发怒，因为他的心偏离向他两次显现的耶和华—以色列的　神。Now the LORD grew angry with Solomon, because his heart had turned away from the LORD, the God of Israel, who had appeared to him twice.

¹⁰耶和华曾吩咐他不可随从别神，他却没有遵守耶和华所吩咐的。Although He had warned Solomon explicitly not to follow other gods, Solomon did not keep the LORD’s command.

¹¹所以耶和华对他说：“你既行了这事，不遵守我所吩咐你守的约和律例，我必将你的国夺回，赐给你的臣子。Then the LORD said to Solomon, “Because you have done this and have not kept My covenant and My statutes, which I have commanded you, I will tear the kingdom away from you and give it to your servant.

¹²然而，因你父亲大卫的缘故，我不在你活着的日子行这事，必从你儿子的手中将国夺回。Nevertheless, for the sake of your father David, I will not do it during your lifetime; I will tear it out of the hand of your son.

¹³只是我不将全国夺回，要因我仆人大卫和我所选择的耶路撒冷，还留一支派给你的儿子。”Yet I will not tear the whole kingdom away from him. I will give one tribe to your son for the sake of My servant David and for the sake of Jerusalem, which I have chosen.”

以东人哈达

¹⁴耶和华使以东人哈达兴起，作所罗门的敌人；他是以东王的后裔。Then the LORD raised up against Solomon an adversary, Hadad the Edomite, from the royal line of Edom.

¹⁵先前大卫攻击以东，元帅约押上去葬埋阵亡的人，将以东的男丁都杀了。Earlier, when David was in Edom, Joab the commander of the army had gone to bury the dead and had struck down every male in Edom.

¹⁶约押和以色列众人在以东住了六个月，直到将以东的男丁尽都剪除。Joab and all Israel had stayed there six months, until he had killed every male in Edom.

¹⁷那时哈达还是幼童；他和他父亲的臣仆，几个以东人逃往埃及。But Hadad, still just a young boy, had fled to Egypt, along with some Edomites who were servants of his father.

¹⁸他们从米甸起行，到了巴兰；从巴兰带着几个人来到埃及见埃及王法老；法老为他派定粮食，又给他房屋田地。Hadad and his men set out from Midian and went to Paran. They took men from Paran with them and went to Egypt, to Pharaoh king of Egypt, who gave Hadad a house and land and provided him with food.

¹⁹哈达在法老面前大蒙恩惠，以致法老将王后答比匿的妹子赐他为妻。There Hadad found such great favor in the sight of Pharaoh that he gave to him in marriage the sister of Queen Tahpenes, his own wife.

²⁰答比匿的妹子给哈达生了一个儿子，名叫基努拔。答比匿使基努拔在法老的宫里断奶，基努拔就与法老的众子一同住在法老的宫里。And the sister of Tahpenes bore Hadad a son named Genubath. Tahpenes herself weaned him in Pharaoh’s palace, and Genubath lived there among the sons of Pharaoh.

²¹哈达在埃及听见大卫与他列祖同睡，元帅约押也死了，就对法老说：“求王容我回本国去。”When Hadad heard in Egypt that David had rested with his fathers and that Joab, the commander of the army, was dead, he said to Pharaoh, “Let me go, that I may return to my own country.”

²²法老对他说：“你在我这里有什么缺乏，你竟要回你本国去呢？”他回答说：“我没有缺乏什么，只是求王容我回去。”But Pharaoh asked him, “What have you lacked here with me that you suddenly want to go back to your own country?” “Nothing,” Hadad replied, “but please let me go.”

利逊

²³神又使以利亚大的儿子利逊兴起，作所罗门的敌人。他先前逃避主人琐巴王哈大底谢。And God raised up against Solomon another adversary, Rezon the son of Eliada, who had fled from his master, Hadadezer king of Zobah,

²⁴大卫击杀琐巴人的时候，利逊招聚了一群人，自己作他们的头目，往大马士革居住，在那里作王。and had gathered men to himself. When David killed the Zobaites, Rezon captained a band of raiders and went to Damascus, where they settled and gained control.

²⁵所罗门活着的时候，哈达为患之外，利逊也作以色列的敌人。他恨恶以色列人，且作了亚兰人的王。Rezon was Israel’s enemy throughout the days of Solomon, adding to the trouble caused by Hadad. So Rezon ruled over Aram with hostility toward Israel.

耶罗波安

²⁶所罗门的臣仆、尼八的儿子耶罗波安也举手攻击王。他是以法莲支派的洗利达人，他母亲是寡妇，名叫洗鲁阿。Now Jeroboam son of Nebat was an Ephraimite from Zeredah whose mother was a widow named Zeruah. Jeroboam was a servant of Solomon, but he rebelled against the king,

²⁷他举手攻击王的缘故，乃由先前所罗门建造米罗，修补他父亲大卫城的破口。and this is the account of his rebellion against the king. Solomon had built the supporting terraces and repaired the gap in the wall of the city of his father David.

²⁸耶罗波安是大有才能的人。所罗门见这少年人殷勤，就派他监管约瑟家的一切工程。Now Jeroboam was a mighty man of valor. So when Solomon noticed that the young man was industrious, he put him in charge of the whole labor force of the house of Joseph.

亚希雅撕衣预言

²⁹一日，耶罗波安出了耶路撒冷，示罗人先知亚希雅在路上遇见他；亚希雅身上穿着一件新衣。他们二人在田野，以外并无别人。During that time, the prophet Ahijah the Shilonite met Jeroboam on the road as he was going out of Jerusalem. Now Ahijah had wrapped himself in a new cloak, and the two of them were alone in the open field.

³⁰亚希雅将自己穿的那件新衣撕成十二片，And Ahijah took hold of the new cloak he was wearing, tore it into twelve pieces,

³¹对耶罗波安说：“你可以拿十片。耶和华—以色列的　神如此说：‘我必将国从所罗门手里夺回，将十个支派赐给你。and said to Jeroboam, “Take ten pieces for yourself, for this is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says: ‘Behold, I will tear the kingdom out of the hand of Solomon, and I will give you ten tribes.

³²（我因仆人大卫和我在以色列众支派中所选择的耶路撒冷城的缘故，仍给所罗门留一个支派。）But one tribe will remain for the sake of My servant David and for the sake of Jerusalem, the city I have chosen out of all the tribes of Israel.

³³因为他离弃我，敬拜西顿人的女神亚斯她录、摩押的神基抹，和亚扪人的神米勒公，没有遵从我的道，行我眼中看为正的事，守我的律例典章，像他父亲大卫一样。For they have forsaken Me to worship Ashtoreth the goddess of the Sidonians, Chemosh the god of the Moabites, and Milcom the god of the Ammonites. They have not walked in My ways, nor done what is right in My eyes, nor kept My statutes and judgments, as Solomon’s father David did.

³⁴但我不从他手里将全国夺回；使他终身为君，是因我所拣选的仆人大卫谨守我的诫命律例。Nevertheless, I will not take the whole kingdom out of Solomon’s hand, because I have made him ruler all the days of his life for the sake of David My servant, whom I chose because he kept My commandments and statutes.

³⁵我必从他儿子的手里将国夺回，以十个支派赐给你，But I will take ten tribes of the kingdom from the hand of his son and give them to you.

³⁶还留一个支派给他的儿子，使我仆人大卫在我所选择立我名的耶路撒冷城里，在我面前长有灯光。I will give one tribe to his son, so that My servant David will always have a lamp before Me in Jerusalem, the city where I chose to put My Name.

³⁷我必拣选你，使你照心里一切所愿的，作王治理以色列。But as for you, I will take you, and you shall reign over all that your heart desires, and you will be king over Israel.

³⁸你若听从我一切所吩咐你的，遵行我的道，行我眼中看为正的事，谨守我的律例诫命，像我仆人大卫所行的，我就与你同在，为你立坚固的家，像我为大卫所立的一样，将以色列人赐给你。If you listen to all that I command you, walk in My ways, and do what is right in My sight in order to keep My statutes and commandments as My servant David did, then I will be with you. I will build you a lasting dynasty just as I built for David, and I will give Israel to you.

³⁹我必因所罗门所行的使大卫后裔受患难，但不至于永远。’”Because of this, I will humble David’s descendants—but not forever.’”

耶罗波安逃往埃及

⁴⁰所罗门因此想要杀耶罗波安。耶罗波安却起身逃往埃及；到了埃及王示撒那里，就住在埃及，直到所罗门死了。Solomon therefore sought to kill Jeroboam. But Jeroboam arose and fled to Egypt, to Shishak king of Egypt, where he remained until the death of Solomon.

所罗门去世

⁴¹所罗门其余的事，凡他所行的和他的智慧都写在所罗门记上。As for the rest of the acts of Solomon—all that he did, as well as his wisdom—are they not written in the Book of the Acts of Solomon?

⁴²所罗门在耶路撒冷作以色列众人的王共四十年。Thus the time that Solomon reigned in Jerusalem over all Israel was forty years.

⁴³所罗门与他列祖同睡，葬在他父亲大卫的城里。他儿子罗波安接续他作王。And Solomon rested with his fathers and was buried in the city of his father David. And his son Rehoboam reigned in his place.

众人寻找耶稣

²²第二日，站在海那边的众人知道那里没有别的船，只有一只小船，又知道耶稣没有同他的门徒上船，乃是门徒自己去的。The next day, the crowd that had remained on the other side of the sea realized that only one boat had been there, and that Jesus had not boarded it with His disciples, but they had gone away alone.

²³然而，有几只小船从提比哩亚来，靠近主祝谢后分饼给人吃的地方。However, some boats from Tiberias landed near the place where the people had eaten the bread after the Lord had given thanks.

²⁴众人见耶稣和门徒都不在那里，就上了船，往迦百农去找耶稣。So when the crowd saw that neither Jesus nor His disciples were there, they got into the boats and went to Capernaum to look for Him.

²⁵既在海那边找着了，就对他说：“拉比，是几时到这里来的？”When they found Him on the other side of the sea, they asked Him, “Rabbi, when did You get here?”

为存到永生的食物劳力

²⁶耶稣回答说：“我实实在在地告诉你们，你们找我，并不是因见了神迹，乃是因吃饼得饱。Jesus replied, “Truly, truly, I tell you, it is not because you saw these signs that you are looking for Me, but because you ate the loaves and had your fill.

²⁷不要为那必坏的食物劳力，要为那存到永生的食物劳力，就是人子要赐给你们的，因为人子是父　神所印证的。”Do not work for food that perishes, but for food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you. For on Him God the Father has placed His seal of approval.”

甚么是做神的工

²⁸众人问他说：“我们当行什么才算做　神的工呢？”Then they inquired, “What must we do to perform the works of God?”

²⁹耶稣回答说：“信　神所差来的，这就是做　神的工。”Jesus replied, “The work of God is this: to believe in the One He has sent.”

要求神迹

³⁰他们又说：“你行什么神迹，叫我们看见就信你；你到底做什么事呢？So they asked Him, “What sign then will You perform, so that we may see it and believe You? What will You do?

³¹我们的祖宗在旷野吃过吗哪，如经上写着说：‘他从天上赐下粮来给他们吃。’”Our fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, as it is written: ‘He gave them bread from heaven to eat.’”
