流便和迦得要约旦河东的地

¹流便子孙和迦得子孙的牲畜极其众多；他们看见雅谢地和基列地是可牧放牲畜之地，Now the Reubenites and Gadites, who had very large herds and flocks, surveyed the lands of Jazer and Gilead, and they saw that the region was suitable for livestock.

²就来见摩西和祭司以利亚撒，并会众的首领，说：So the Gadites and Reubenites came to Moses, Eleazar the priest, and the leaders of the congregation, and said,

³“亚大录、底本、雅谢、宁拉、希实本、以利亚利、示班、尼波、比稳，“Ataroth, Dibon, Jazer, Nimrah, Heshbon, Elealeh, Sebam, Nebo, and Beon,

⁴就是耶和华在以色列会众前面所攻取之地，是可牧放牲畜之地，你仆人也有牲畜”；which the LORD conquered before the congregation of Israel, are suitable for livestock—and your servants have livestock.”

⁵又说：“我们若在你眼前蒙恩，求你把这地给我们为业，不要领我们过约旦河。”“If we have found favor in your sight,” they said, “let this land be given to your servants as a possession. Do not make us cross the Jordan.”

摩西责备他们

⁶摩西对迦得子孙和流便子孙说：“难道你们的弟兄去打仗，你们竟坐在这里吗？But Moses asked the Gadites and Reubenites, “Shall your brothers go to war while you sit here?

⁷你们为何使以色列人灰心丧胆、不过去进入耶和华所赐给他们的那地呢？Why are you discouraging the Israelites from crossing into the land that the LORD has given them?

⁸我先前从加低斯·巴尼亚打发你们先祖去窥探那地，他们也是这样行。This is what your fathers did when I sent them from Kadesh-barnea to inspect the land.

⁹他们上以实各谷，去窥探那地回来的时候，使以色列人灰心丧胆，不进入耶和华所赐给他们的地。For when your fathers went up to the Valley of Eshcol and saw the land, they discouraged the Israelites from entering the land that the LORD had given them.

¹⁰当日，耶和华的怒气发作，就起誓说：So the anger of the LORD was kindled that day, and He swore an oath, saying,

¹¹‘凡从埃及上来、二十岁以外的人断不得看见我对亚伯拉罕、以撒、雅各起誓应许之地，因为他们没有专心跟从我。‘Because they did not follow Me wholeheartedly, not one of the men twenty years of age or older who came out of Egypt will see the land that I swore to give Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob—

¹²惟有基尼洗族耶孚尼的儿子迦勒和嫩的儿子约书亚可以看见，因为他们专心跟从我。’not one except Caleb son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite and Joshua son of Nun—because they did follow the LORD wholeheartedly.’

¹³耶和华的怒气向以色列人发作，使他们在旷野飘流四十年，等到在耶和华眼前行恶的那一代人都消灭了。The anger of the LORD burned against Israel, and He made them wander in the wilderness forty years, until the whole generation who had done evil in His sight was gone.

¹⁴谁知，你们起来接续先祖，增添罪人的数目，使耶和华向以色列大发烈怒。Now behold, you, a brood of sinners, have risen up in place of your fathers to further stoke the burning anger of the LORD against Israel.

¹⁵你们若退后不跟从他，他还要把以色列人撇在旷野，便是你们使这众民灭亡。”For if you turn away from following Him, He will once again leave this people in the wilderness, and you will be the cause of their destruction.”

两支派的承诺

¹⁶两支派的人挨近摩西，说：“我们要在这里为牲畜垒圈，为妇人孩子造城。Then the Gadites and Reubenites approached Moses and said, “We want to build sheepfolds here for our livestock and cities for our little ones.

¹⁷我们自己要带兵器行在以色列人的前头，好把他们领到他们的地方；但我们的妇人孩子，因这地居民的缘故，要住在坚固的城内。But we will arm ourselves and be ready to go ahead of the Israelites until we have brought them into their place. Meanwhile, our little ones will remain in the fortified cities for protection from the inhabitants of the land.

¹⁸我们不回家，直等到以色列人各承受自己的产业。We will not return to our homes until every Israelite has taken possession of his inheritance.

¹⁹我们不和他们在约旦河那边一带之地同受产业，因为我们的产业是坐落在约旦河东边这里。”Yet we will not have an inheritance with them across the Jordan and beyond, because our inheritance has come to us on the east side of the Jordan.”

摩西的条件

²⁰摩西对他们说：“你们若这样行，在耶和华面前带着兵器出去打仗，Moses replied, “If you will do this—if you will arm yourselves before the LORD for battle,

²¹所有带兵器的人都要在耶和华面前过约旦河，等他赶出他的仇敌，and if every one of your armed men crosses the Jordan before the LORD, until He has driven His enemies out before Him,

²²那地被耶和华制伏了，然后你们可以回来，向耶和华和以色列才为无罪，这地也必在耶和华面前归你们为业。then when the land is subdued before the LORD, you may return and be free of obligation to the LORD and to Israel. And this land will belong to you as a possession before the LORD.

²³倘若你们不这样行，就得罪耶和华，要知道你们的罪必追上你们。But if you do not do this, you will certainly sin against the LORD—and be assured that your sin will find you out.

²⁴如今你们口中所出的，只管去行，为你们的妇人孩子造城，为你们的羊群垒圈。”Build cities for your little ones and folds for your flocks, but do what you have promised.”

²⁵迦得子孙和流便子孙对摩西说：“仆人要照我主所吩咐的去行。The Gadites and Reubenites said to Moses, “Your servants will do just as our lord commands.

²⁶我们的妻子、孩子、羊群，和所有的牲畜都要留在基列的各城。Our children, our wives, our livestock, and all our animals will remain here in the cities of Gilead.

²⁷但你的仆人，凡带兵器的，都要照我主所说的话，在耶和华面前过去打仗。”But your servants are equipped for war, and every man will cross over to the battle before the LORD, just as our lord says.”

嘱咐以利亚撒和约书亚

²⁸于是，摩西为他们嘱咐祭司以利亚撒和嫩的儿子约书亚，并以色列众支派的族长，说：So Moses gave orders about them to Eleazar the priest, to Joshua son of Nun, and to the family leaders of the tribes of Israel.

²⁹“迦得子孙和流便子孙，凡带兵器在耶和华面前去打仗的，若与你们一同过约旦河，那地被你们制伏了，你们就要把基列地给他们为业。And Moses said to them, “If the Gadites and Reubenites cross the Jordan with you, with every man armed for battle before the LORD, and the land is subdued before you, then you are to give them the land of Gilead as a possession.

³⁰倘若他们不带兵器和你们一同过去，就要在迦南地你们中间得产业。”But if they do not arm themselves and go across with you, then they must accept their possession among you in the land of Canaan.”

³¹迦得子孙和流便子孙回答说：“耶和华怎样吩咐仆人，仆人就怎样行。The Gadites and Reubenites replied, “As the LORD has spoken to your servants, so we will do.

³²我们要带兵器，在耶和华面前过去，进入迦南地，只是约旦河这边、我们所得为业之地仍归我们。”We will cross over into the land of Canaan armed before the LORD, that we may have our inheritance on this side of the Jordan.”

分给约旦河东的地

³³摩西将亚摩利王西宏的国和巴珊王噩的国，连那地和周围的城邑，都给了迦得子孙和流便子孙，并约瑟的儿子玛拿西半个支派。So Moses gave to the Gadites, to the Reubenites, and to the half-tribe of Manasseh son of Joseph the kingdom of Sihon king of the Amorites and the kingdom of Og king of Bashan—the land including its cities and the territory surrounding them.

³⁴迦得子孙建造底本、亚他录、亚罗珥、And the Gadites built up Dibon, Ataroth, Aroer,

³⁵亚他录·朔反、雅谢、约比哈、Atroth-shophan, Jazer, Jogbehah,

³⁶伯·宁拉、伯·哈兰，都是坚固城。他们又垒羊圈。Beth-nimrah, and Beth-haran as fortified cities, and they built folds for their flocks.

³⁷流便子孙建造希实本、以利亚利、基列亭、The Reubenites built up Heshbon, Elealeh, Kiriathaim,

³⁸尼波、巴力·免、西比玛（尼波、巴力·免，名字是改了的），又给他们所建造的城另起别名。as well as Nebo and Baal-meon (whose names were changed), and Sibmah. And they renamed the cities they rebuilt.

玛拿西的子孙占领基列

³⁹玛拿西的儿子玛吉，他的子孙往基列去，占了那地，赶出那里的亚摩利人。The descendants of Machir son of Manasseh went to Gilead, captured it, and drove out the Amorites who were there.

⁴⁰摩西将基列赐给玛拿西的儿子玛吉，他子孙就住在那里。So Moses gave Gilead to the clan of Machir son of Manasseh, and they settled there.

⁴¹玛拿西的子孙睚珥去占了基列的村庄，就称这些村庄为哈倭特·睚珥。Jair, a descendant of Manasseh, went and captured their villages and called them Havvoth-jair.

⁴²挪巴去占了基纳和基纳的乡村，就按自己的名称基纳为挪巴。And Nobah went and captured Kenath and its villages and called it Nobah, after his own name.

犹大带人来到

⁴³说话之间，忽然那十二个门徒里的犹大来了，并有许多人带着刀棒，从祭司长和文士并长老那里与他同来。While Jesus was still speaking, Judas, one of the Twelve, arrived, accompanied by a crowd armed with swords and clubs, sent from the chief priests, scribes, and elders.

⁴⁴卖耶稣的人曾给他们一个暗号，说：“我与谁亲嘴，谁就是他。你们把他拿住，牢牢靠靠地带去。”Now the betrayer had arranged a signal with them: “The One I kiss is the man; arrest Him and lead Him away securely.”

用亲嘴出卖

⁴⁵犹大来了，随即到耶稣跟前，说：“拉比”，便与他亲嘴。Going directly to Jesus, he said, “Rabbi!” and kissed Him.

⁴⁶他们就下手拿住他。Then the men seized Jesus and arrested Him.

削掉仆人的耳朵

⁴⁷旁边站着的人，有一个拔出刀来，将大祭司的仆人砍了一刀，削掉了他一个耳朵。And one of the bystanders drew his sword and struck the servant of the high priest, cutting off his ear.

耶稣的回应

⁴⁸耶稣对他们说：“你们带着刀棒出来拿我，如同拿强盗吗？Jesus asked the crowd, “Have you come out with swords and clubs to arrest Me as you would an outlaw?

⁴⁹我天天教训人，同你们在殿里，你们并没有拿我。但这事成就，为要应验经上的话。”Every day I was with you, teaching in the temple courts, and you did not arrest Me. But this has happened that the Scriptures would be fulfilled.”

门徒都逃走了

⁵⁰门徒都离开他，逃走了。Then everyone deserted Him and fled.

赤身逃走的少年人

⁵¹有一个少年人，赤身披着一块麻布，跟随耶稣，众人就捉拿他。One young man who had been following Jesus was wearing a linen cloth around his body. They caught hold of him,

⁵²他却丢了麻布，赤身逃走了。but he pulled free of the linen cloth and ran away naked.
