罗得接待天使

¹那两个天使晚上到了所多玛；罗得正坐在所多玛城门口，看见他们，就起来迎接，脸伏于地下拜，Now the two angels arrived at Sodom in the evening, and Lot was sitting in the gateway of the city. When Lot saw them, he got up to meet them, bowed facedown,

²说：“我主啊，请你们到仆人家里洗洗脚，住一夜，清早起来再走。”他们说：“不！我们要在街上过夜。”and said, “My lords, please turn aside into the house of your servant; wash your feet and spend the night. Then you can rise early and go on your way.” “No,” they answered, “we will spend the night in the square.”

³罗得切切地请他们，他们这才进去，到他屋里。罗得为他们预备筵席，烤无酵饼，他们就吃了。But Lot insisted so strongly that they followed him into his house. He prepared a feast for them and baked unleavened bread, and they ate.

所多玛人的恶行

⁴他们还没有躺下，所多玛城里各处的人，连老带少，都来围住那房子，Before they had gone to bed, all the men of the city of Sodom, both young and old, surrounded the house.

⁵呼叫罗得说：“今日晚上到你这里来的人在哪里呢？把他们带出来，任我们所为。”They called out to Lot, saying, “Where are the men who came to you tonight? Send them out to us so we can have relations with them!”

⁶罗得出来，把门关上，到众人那里，Lot went outside to meet them, shutting the door behind him.

⁷说：“众弟兄，请你们不要做这恶事。“Please, my brothers,” he pleaded, “don’t do such a wicked thing!

⁸我有两个女儿，还是处女，容我领出来，任凭你们的心愿而行；只是这两个人既然到我舍下，不要向他们做什么。”Look, I have two daughters who have never slept with a man. Let me bring them to you, and you can do to them as you please. But do not do anything to these men, for they have come under the protection of my roof.”

⁹众人说：“退去吧！”又说：“这个人来寄居，还想要作官哪！现在我们要害你比害他们更甚。”众人就向前拥挤罗得，要攻破房门。“Get out of the way!” they replied. And they declared, “This one came here as a foreigner, and he is already acting like a judge! Now we will treat you worse than them.” And they pressed in on Lot and moved in to break down the door.

¹⁰只是那二人伸出手来，将罗得拉进屋去，把门关上，But the men inside reached out, pulled Lot into the house with them, and shut the door.

¹¹并且使门外的人，无论老少，眼都昏迷；他们摸来摸去，总寻不着房门。And they struck the men at the entrance, young and old, with blindness, so that they wearied themselves trying to find the door.

天使催罗得离城

¹²二人对罗得说：“你这里还有什么人吗？无论是女婿是儿女，和这城中一切属你的人，你都要将他们从这地方带出去。Then the two men said to Lot, “Do you have anyone else here—a son-in-law, your sons or daughters, or anyone else in the city who belongs to you? Get them out of here,

¹³我们要毁灭这地方；因为城内罪恶的声音在耶和华面前甚大，耶和华差我们来，要毁灭这地方。”because we are about to destroy this place. For the outcry to the LORD against its people is so great that He has sent us to destroy it.”

¹⁴罗得就出去，告诉娶了（或译：将要娶）他女儿的女婿们说：“你们起来离开这地方，因为耶和华要毁灭这城。”他女婿们却以为他说的是戏言。So Lot went out and spoke to the sons-in-law who were pledged in marriage to his daughters. “Get up,” he said. “Get out of this place, for the LORD is about to destroy the city!” But his sons-in-law thought he was joking.

¹⁵天明了，天使催逼罗得说：“起来！带着你的妻子和你在这里的两个女儿出去，免得你因这城里的罪恶同被剿灭。”At daybreak the angels hurried Lot along, saying, “Get up! Take your wife and your two daughters who are here, or you will be swept away in the punishment of the city.”

¹⁶但罗得迟延不走。二人因为耶和华怜恤罗得，就拉着他的手和他妻子的手，并他两个女儿的手，把他们领出来，安置在城外；But when Lot hesitated, the men grabbed his hand and the hands of his wife and his two daughters. And they led them safely out of the city, because of the LORD’s compassion for them.

逃往琐珥

¹⁷领他们出来以后，就说：“逃命吧！不可回头看，也不可在平原站住。要往山上逃跑，免得你被剿灭。”As soon as the men had brought them out, one of them said, “Run for your lives! Do not look back, and do not stop anywhere on the plain! Flee to the mountains, or you will be swept away!”

¹⁸罗得对他们说：“我主啊，不要如此！But Lot replied, “No, my lords, please!

¹⁹你仆人已经在你眼前蒙恩；你又向我显出莫大的慈爱，救我的性命。我不能逃到山上去，恐怕这灾祸临到我，我便死了。Your servant has indeed found favor in your sight, and you have shown me great kindness by sparing my life. But I cannot run to the mountains; the disaster will overtake me, and I will die.

²⁰看哪，这座城又小又近，容易逃到，这不是一个小的吗？求你容我逃到那里，我的性命就得存活。”Look, there is a town nearby where I can flee, and it is a small place. Please let me flee there—is it not a small place? Then my life will be saved.”

²¹天使对他说：“这事我也应允你；我不倾覆你所说的这城。“Very well,” he answered, “I will grant this request as well, and will not demolish the town you indicate.

²²你要速速地逃到那城；因为你还没有到那里，我不能做什么。”因此那城名叫琐珥（就是小的意思）。Hurry! Run there quickly, for I cannot do anything until you reach it.” That is why the town was called Zoar.

硫磺与火从天降下

²³罗得到了琐珥，日头已经出来了。And by the time the sun had risen over the land, Lot had reached Zoar.

²⁴当时，耶和华将硫磺与火从天上耶和华那里降与所多玛和蛾摩拉，Then the LORD rained down sulfur and fire on Sodom and Gomorrah—from the LORD out of the heavens.

²⁵把那些城和全平原，并城里所有的居民，连地上生长的，都毁灭了。Thus He destroyed these cities and the entire plain, including all the inhabitants of the cities and everything that grew on the ground.

²⁶罗得的妻子在后边回头一看，就变成了一根盐柱。But Lot’s wife looked back, and she became a pillar of salt.

亚伯拉罕观看平原

²⁷亚伯拉罕清早起来，到了他从前站在耶和华面前的地方，Early the next morning, Abraham got up and returned to the place where he had stood before the LORD.

²⁸向所多玛和蛾摩拉与平原的全地观看，不料，那地方烟气上腾，如同烧窑一般。He looked down toward Sodom and Gomorrah and all the land of the plain, and he saw the smoke rising from the land like smoke from a furnace.

²⁹当　神毁灭平原诸城的时候，他记念亚伯拉罕，正在倾覆罗得所住之城的时候，就打发罗得从倾覆之中出来。So when God destroyed the cities of the plain, He remembered Abraham, and He brought Lot out of the catastrophe that destroyed the cities where he had lived.

罗得和两个女儿

³⁰罗得因为怕住在琐珥，就同他两个女儿从琐珥上去，住在山里；他和两个女儿住在一个洞里。Lot and his two daughters left Zoar and settled in the mountains—for he was afraid to stay in Zoar—where they lived in a cave.

³¹大女儿对小女儿说：“我们的父亲老了，地上又无人按着世上的常规进到我们这里。One day the older daughter said to the younger, “Our father is old, and there is no man in the land to sleep with us, as is the custom over all the earth.

³²来！我们可以叫父亲喝酒，与他同寝。这样，我们好从他存留后裔。”Come, let us get our father drunk with wine so we can sleep with him and preserve his line.”

³³于是，那夜她们叫父亲喝酒，大女儿就进去和她父亲同寝；她几时躺下，几时起来，父亲都不知道。So that night they got their father drunk with wine, and the firstborn went in and slept with her father; he was not aware when she lay down or when she got up.

³⁴第二天，大女儿对小女儿说：“我昨夜与父亲同寝。今夜我们再叫他喝酒，你可以进去与他同寝。这样，我们好从父亲存留后裔。”The next day the older daughter said to the younger, “Look, I slept with my father last night. Let us get him drunk with wine again tonight so you can go in and sleep with him and we can preserve our father’s line.”

³⁵于是，那夜她们又叫父亲喝酒，小女儿起来与她父亲同寝；她几时躺下，几时起来，父亲都不知道。So again that night they got their father drunk with wine, and the younger daughter went in and slept with him; he was not aware when she lay down or when she got up.

³⁶这样，罗得的两个女儿都从她父亲怀了孕。Thus both of Lot’s daughters became pregnant by their father.

³⁷大女儿生了儿子，给他起名叫摩押，就是现今摩押人的始祖。The older daughter gave birth to a son and named him Moab. He is the father of the Moabites of today.

³⁸小女儿也生了儿子，给他起名叫便·亚米，就是现今亚扪人的始祖。The younger daughter also gave birth to a son, and she named him Ben-ammi. He is the father of the Ammonites of today.

神在梦中警告亚比米勒

³但夜间，　神来，在梦中对亚比米勒说：“你是个死人哪！因为你取了那女人来；她原是别人的妻子。”One night, however, God came to Abimelech in a dream and told him, “You are as good as dead because of the woman you have taken, for she is a married woman.”

⁴亚比米勒却还没有亲近撒拉；他说：“主啊，连有义的国，你也要毁灭吗？Now Abimelech had not gone near her, so he replied, “Lord, would You destroy a nation even though it is innocent?

⁵那人岂不是自己对我说‘她是我的妹子’吗？就是女人也自己说：‘他是我的哥哥。’我做这事是心正手洁的。”Didn’t Abraham tell me, ‘She is my sister’? And she herself said, ‘He is my brother.’ I have done this in the integrity of my heart and the innocence of my hands.”

⁶神在梦中对他说：“我知道你做这事是心中正直；我也拦阻了你，免得你得罪我，所以我不容你沾着她。Then God said to Abimelech in the dream, “Yes, I know that you did this with a clear conscience, and so I have kept you from sinning against Me. That is why I did not let you touch her.

⁷现在你把这人的妻子归还他；因为他是先知，他要为你祷告，使你存活。你若不归还他，你当知道，你和你所有的人都必要死。”Now return the man’s wife, for he is a prophet; he will pray for you and you will live. But if you do not restore her, be aware that you will surely die—you and all who belong to you.”

亚比米勒责问亚伯拉罕

⁸亚比米勒清早起来，召了众臣仆来，将这些事都说给他们听，他们都甚惧怕。Early the next morning Abimelech got up and summoned all his servants; and when he described to them all that had happened, the men were terrified.

⁹亚比米勒召了亚伯拉罕来，对他说：“你怎么向我这样行呢？我在什么事上得罪了你，你竟使我和我国里的人陷在大罪里？你向我行不当行的事了！”Then Abimelech called Abraham and asked, “What have you done to us? How have I sinned against you, that you have brought such tremendous guilt upon me and my kingdom? You have done things to me that should not be done.”

¹⁰亚比米勒又对亚伯拉罕说：“你见了什么才做这事呢？”Abimelech also asked Abraham, “What prompted you to do such a thing?”

¹¹亚伯拉罕说：“我以为这地方的人总不惧怕　神，必为我妻子的缘故杀我。Abraham replied, “I thought to myself, ‘Surely there is no fear of God in this place. They will kill me on account of my wife.’

¹³当　神叫我离开父家、飘流在外的时候，我对她说：‘我们无论走到什么地方，你可以对人说：他是我的哥哥；这就是你待我的恩典了。’”So when God had me journey from my father’s house, I said to Sarah, ‘This is how you can show your loyalty to me: Wherever we go, say of me, “He is my brother.”’”

归还撒拉

¹⁴亚比米勒把牛、羊、仆婢赐给亚伯拉罕，又把他的妻子撒拉归还他。So Abimelech brought sheep and cattle, menservants and maidservants, and he gave them to Abraham and restored his wife Sarah to him.

¹⁵亚比米勒又说：“看哪，我的地都在你面前，你可以随意居住”；And Abimelech said, “Look, my land is before you. Settle wherever you please.”

¹⁶又对撒拉说：“我给你哥哥一千银子，作为你在合家人面前遮羞的（羞：原文是眼），你就在众人面前没有不是了。”And he said to Sarah, “See, I am giving your brother a thousand pieces of silver. It is your vindication before all who are with you; you are completely cleared.”

亚伯拉罕代祷

¹⁷亚伯拉罕祷告　神，　神就医好了亚比米勒和他的妻子，并他的众女仆，她们便能生育。Then Abraham prayed to God, and God healed Abimelech and his wife and his maidservants, so that they could again bear children—

¹⁸因耶和华为亚伯拉罕的妻子撒拉的缘故，已经使亚比米勒家中的妇人不能生育。for on account of Abraham’s wife Sarah, the LORD had completely closed all the wombs in Abimelech’s household.

不要论断人

¹“你们不要论断人，免得你们被论断。“Do not judge, or you will be judged.

²因为你们怎样论断人，也必怎样被论断；你们用什么量器量给人，也必用什么量器量给你们。For with the same judgment you pronounce, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.

³为什么看见你弟兄眼中有刺，却不想自己眼中有梁木呢？Why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye but fail to notice the beam in your own eye?

⁴你自己眼中有梁木，怎能对你弟兄说：‘容我去掉你眼中的刺’呢？How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ while there is still a beam in your own eye?

⁵你这假冒为善的人！先去掉自己眼中的梁木，然后才能看得清楚，去掉你弟兄眼中的刺。You hypocrite! First take the beam out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.

不要把圣物给狗

⁶不要把圣物给狗，也不要把你们的珍珠丢在猪前，恐怕它践踏了珍珠，转过来咬你们。”Do not give dogs what is holy; do not throw your pearls before swine. If you do, they may trample them under their feet, and then turn and tear you to pieces.

祈求、寻找、叩门

⁷“你们祈求，就给你们；寻找，就寻见；叩门，就给你们开门。Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you.

⁸因为凡祈求的，就得着；寻找的，就寻见；叩门的，就给他开门。For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.

⁹你们中间谁有儿子求饼，反给他石头呢？Which of you, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone?

¹⁰求鱼，反给他蛇呢？Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake?

¹¹你们虽然不好，尚且知道拿好东西给儿女，何况你们在天上的父，岂不更把好东西给求他的人吗？So if you who are evil know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!

要进窄门

¹³“你们要进窄门。因为引到灭亡，那门是宽的，路是大的，进去的人也多；Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and many enter through it.

¹⁴引到永生，那门是窄的，路是小的，找着的人也少。”But small is the gate and narrow the way that leads to life, and only a few find it.

凭果子认出假先知

¹⁵“你们要防备假先知。他们到你们这里来，外面披着羊皮，里面却是残暴的狼。Beware of false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.

¹⁶凭着他们的果子，就可以认出他们来。荆棘上岂能摘葡萄呢？蒺藜里岂能摘无花果呢？By their fruit you will recognize them. Are grapes gathered from thornbushes, or figs from thistles?

¹⁷这样，凡好树都结好果子，惟独坏树结坏果子。Likewise, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit.

¹⁸好树不能结坏果子；坏树不能结好果子。A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit.

¹⁹凡不结好果子的树就砍下来，丢在火里。Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.

²⁰所以，凭着他们的果子就可以认出他们来。”So then, by their fruit you will recognize them.

遵行天父旨意的人

²¹“凡称呼我‘主啊，主啊’的人不能都进天国；惟独遵行我天父旨意的人才能进去。Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of My Father in heaven.

²²当那日必有许多人对我说：‘主啊，主啊，我们不是奉你的名传道，奉你的名赶鬼，奉你的名行许多异能吗？’Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?’

²³我就明明地告诉他们说：‘我从来不认识你们，你们这些作恶的人，离开我去吧！’”Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you workers of lawlessness!’

盖在磐石上的房子

²⁴“所以，凡听见我这话就去行的，好比一个聪明人，把房子盖在磐石上；Therefore everyone who hears these words of Mine and acts on them is like a wise man who built his house on the rock.

²⁵雨淋，水冲，风吹，撞着那房子，房子总不倒塌，因为根基立在磐石上。The rain fell, the torrents raged, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because its foundation was on the rock.

²⁶凡听见我这话不去行的，好比一个无知的人，把房子盖在沙土上；But everyone who hears these words of Mine and does not act on them is like a foolish man who built his house on sand.

²⁷雨淋，水冲，风吹，撞着那房子，房子就倒塌了，并且倒塌得很大。”The rain fell, the torrents raged, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell—and great was its collapse!”

众人希奇祂的教训

²⁸耶稣讲完了这些话，众人都希奇他的教训；When Jesus had finished saying these things, the crowds were astonished at His teaching,
