以撒出生

¹耶和华按着先前的话眷顾撒拉，便照他所说的给撒拉成就。Now the LORD attended to Sarah as He had said, and the LORD did for Sarah what He had promised.

²当亚伯拉罕年老的时候，撒拉怀了孕；到　神所说的日期，就给亚伯拉罕生了一个儿子。So Sarah conceived and bore a son to Abraham in his old age, at the very time God had promised.

³亚伯拉罕给撒拉所生的儿子起名叫以撒。And Abraham gave the name Isaac to the son Sarah bore to him.

⁴以撒生下来第八日，亚伯拉罕照着　神所吩咐的，给以撒行了割礼。When his son Isaac was eight days old, Abraham circumcised him, as God had commanded him.

⁵他儿子以撒生的时候，亚伯拉罕年一百岁。Abraham was a hundred years old when his son Isaac was born to him.

⁶撒拉说：“　神使我喜笑，凡听见的必与我一同喜笑”；Then Sarah said, “God has made me laugh, and everyone who hears of this will laugh with me.”

⁷又说：“谁能预先对亚伯拉罕说‘撒拉要乳养婴孩’呢？因为在他年老的时候，我给他生了一个儿子。”She added, “Who would have told Abraham that Sarah would nurse children? Yet I have borne him a son in his old age.”

夏甲和以实玛利被赶出去

⁸孩子渐长，就断了奶。以撒断奶的日子，亚伯拉罕设摆丰盛的筵席。So the child grew and was weaned, and Abraham held a great feast on the day Isaac was weaned.

⁹当时，撒拉看见埃及人夏甲给亚伯拉罕所生的儿子戏笑，But Sarah saw that the son whom Hagar the Egyptian had borne to Abraham was mocking her son,

¹⁰就对亚伯拉罕说：“你把这使女和她儿子赶出去！因为这使女的儿子不可与我的儿子以撒一同承受产业。”and she said to Abraham, “Expel the slave woman and her son, for the slave woman’s son will never share in the inheritance with my son Isaac!”

神在旷野看顾夏甲

¹⁴亚伯拉罕清早起来，拿饼和一皮袋水，给了夏甲，搭在她的肩上，又把孩子交给她，打发她走。夏甲就走了，在别是巴的旷野走迷了路。Early in the morning, Abraham got up, took bread and a skin of water, put them on Hagar’s shoulders, and sent her away with the boy. She left and wandered in the Wilderness of Beersheba.

¹⁵皮袋的水用尽了，夏甲就把孩子撇在小树底下，When the water in the skin was gone, she left the boy under one of the bushes.

¹⁶自己走开约有一箭之远，相对而坐，说：“我不忍见孩子死”，就相对而坐，放声大哭。Then she went off and sat down nearby, about a bowshot away, for she said, “I cannot bear to watch the boy die!” And as she sat nearby, she lifted up her voice and wept.

¹⁷神听见童子的声音；　神的使者从天上呼叫夏甲说：“夏甲，你为何这样呢？不要害怕，　神已经听见童子的声音了。Then God heard the voice of the boy, and the angel of God called to Hagar from heaven, “What is wrong, Hagar? Do not be afraid, for God has heard the voice of the boy where he lies.

¹⁸起来！把童子抱在怀中（怀：原文是手），我必使他的后裔成为大国。”Get up, lift up the boy, and take him by the hand, for I will make him into a great nation.”

¹⁹神使夏甲的眼睛明亮，她就看见一口水井，便去将皮袋盛满了水，给童子喝。Then God opened her eyes, and she saw a well of water. So she went and filled the skin with water and gave the boy a drink.

²⁰神保佑童子，他就渐长，住在旷野，成了弓箭手。And God was with the boy, and he grew up and settled in the wilderness and became a great archer.

²¹他住在巴兰的旷野；他母亲从埃及地给他娶了一个妻子。And while he was dwelling in the Wilderness of Paran, his mother got a wife for him from the land of Egypt.

²²当那时候，亚比米勒同他军长非各对亚伯拉罕说：“凡你所行的事都有　神的保佑。At that time Abimelech and Phicol the commander of his army said to Abraham, “God is with you in all that you do.

²³我愿你如今在这里指着　神对我起誓，不要欺负我与我的儿子，并我的子孙。我怎样厚待了你，你也要照样厚待我与你所寄居这地的民。”Now, therefore, swear to me here before God that you will not deal falsely with me or my children or descendants. Show to me and to the country in which you reside the same kindness that I have shown to you.”

²⁴亚伯拉罕说：“我情愿起誓。”And Abraham replied, “I swear it.”

²⁵从前，亚比米勒的仆人霸占了一口水井，亚伯拉罕为这事指责亚比米勒。But when Abraham complained to Abimelech about a well that Abimelech’s servants had seized,

²⁶亚比米勒说：“谁做这事，我不知道，你也没有告诉我，今日我才听见了。”Abimelech replied, “I do not know who has done this. You did not tell me, so I have not heard about it until today.”

²⁷亚伯拉罕把羊和牛给了亚比米勒，二人就彼此立约。So Abraham brought sheep and cattle and gave them to Abimelech, and the two men made a covenant.

²⁸亚伯拉罕把七只母羊羔另放在一处。Abraham separated seven ewe lambs from the flock,

²⁹亚比米勒问亚伯拉罕说：“你把这七只母羊羔另放在一处，是什么意思呢？”and Abimelech asked him, “Why have you set apart these seven ewe lambs?”

³⁰他说：“你要从我手里受这七只母羊羔，作我挖这口井的证据。”He replied, “You are to accept the seven ewe lambs from my hand as my witness that I dug this well.”

³¹所以他给那地方起名叫别是巴（就是盟誓的井的意思），因为他们二人在那里起了誓。So that place was called Beersheba, because it was there that the two of them swore an oath.

³²他们在别是巴立了约，亚比米勒就同他军长非各起身回非利士地去了。After they had made the covenant at Beersheba, Abimelech and Phicol the commander of his army got up and returned to the land of the Philistines.

³³亚伯拉罕在别是巴栽上一棵垂丝柳树，又在那里求告耶和华—永生　神的名。And Abraham planted a tamarisk tree in Beersheba, and there he called upon the name of the LORD, the Eternal God.

³⁴亚伯拉罕在非利士人的地寄居了多日。And Abraham resided in the land of the Philistines for a long time.

神试验亚伯拉罕

¹这些事以后，　神要试验亚伯拉罕，就呼叫他说：“亚伯拉罕！”他说：“我在这里。”Some time later God tested Abraham and said to him, “Abraham!” “Here I am,” he answered.

²神说：“你带着你的儿子，就是你独生的儿子，你所爱的以撒，往摩利亚地去，在我所要指示你的山上，把他献为燔祭。”“Take your son,” God said, “your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah. Offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains, which I will show you.”

³亚伯拉罕清早起来，备上驴，带着两个仆人和他儿子以撒，也劈好了燔祭的柴，就起身往　神所指示他的地方去了。So Abraham got up early the next morning, saddled his donkey, and took along two of his servants and his son Isaac. He split the wood for a burnt offering and set out for the place God had designated.

⁴到了第三日，亚伯拉罕举目远远地看见那地方。On the third day Abraham looked up and saw the place in the distance.

⁵亚伯拉罕对他的仆人说：“你们和驴在此等候，我与童子往那里去拜一拜，就回到你们这里来。”“Stay here with the donkey,” Abraham told his servants. “The boy and I will go over there to worship, and then we will return to you.”

⁶亚伯拉罕把燔祭的柴放在他儿子以撒身上，自己手里拿着火与刀；于是二人同行。Abraham took the wood for the burnt offering and placed it on his son Isaac. He himself carried the fire and the sacrificial knife, and the two of them walked on together.

⁷以撒对他父亲亚伯拉罕说：“父亲哪！”亚伯拉罕说：“我儿，我在这里。”以撒说：“请看，火与柴都有了，但燔祭的羊羔在哪里呢？”Then Isaac said to his father Abraham, “My father!” “Here I am, my son,” he replied. “The fire and the wood are here,” said Isaac, “but where is the lamb for the burnt offering?”

⁸亚伯拉罕说：“我儿，　神必自己预备作燔祭的羊羔。”于是二人同行。Abraham answered, “God Himself will provide the lamb for the burnt offering, my son.” And the two walked on together.

捆绑以撒

⁹他们到了　神所指示的地方，亚伯拉罕在那里筑坛，把柴摆好，捆绑他的儿子以撒，放在坛的柴上。When they arrived at the place God had designated, Abraham built the altar there and arranged the wood. He bound his son Isaac and placed him on the altar, atop the wood.

¹⁰亚伯拉罕就伸手拿刀，要杀他的儿子。Then Abraham reached out his hand and took the knife to slaughter his son.

耶和华的使者拦阻

¹¹耶和华的使者从天上呼叫他说：“亚伯拉罕！亚伯拉罕！”他说：“我在这里。”Just then the angel of the LORD called out to him from heaven, “Abraham, Abraham!” “Here I am,” he replied.

¹²天使说：“你不可在这童子身上下手。一点不可害他！现在我知道你是敬畏　神的了；因为你没有将你的儿子，就是你独生的儿子，留下不给我。”“Do not lay a hand on the boy or do anything to him,” said the angel, “for now I know that you fear God, since you have not withheld your only son from me.”

¹³亚伯拉罕举目观看，不料，有一只公羊，两角扣在稠密的小树中。亚伯拉罕就取了那只公羊来，献为燔祭，代替他的儿子。Then Abraham looked up and saw behind him a ram in a thicket, caught by its horns. So he went and took the ram and offered it as a burnt offering in place of his son.

¹⁴亚伯拉罕给那地方起名叫“耶和华以勒”（就是耶和华必预备的意思），直到今日人还说：“在耶和华的山上必有预备。”And Abraham called that place The LORD Will Provide. So to this day it is said, “On the mountain of the LORD it will be provided.”

神指着自己起誓赐福

¹⁵耶和华的使者第二次从天上呼叫亚伯拉罕说：And the angel of the LORD called to Abraham from heaven a second time,

¹⁶“耶和华说：‘你既行了这事，不留下你的儿子，就是你独生的儿子，我便指着自己起誓说：saying, “By Myself I have sworn, declares the LORD, that because you have done this and have not withheld your only son,

¹⁷论福，我必赐大福给你；论子孙，我必叫你的子孙多起来，如同天上的星，海边的沙。你子孙必得着仇敌的城门，I will surely bless you, and I will multiply your descendants like the stars in the sky and the sand on the seashore. Your descendants will possess the gates of their enemies.

¹⁸并且地上万国都必因你的后裔得福，因为你听从了我的话。’”And through your offspring all nations of the earth will be blessed, because you have obeyed My voice.”

¹⁹于是亚伯拉罕回到他仆人那里，他们一同起身往别是巴去，亚伯拉罕就住在别是巴。Abraham went back to his servants, and they got up and set out together for Beersheba. And Abraham settled in Beersheba.

拿鹤的后代

²⁰这事以后，有人告诉亚伯拉罕说：“密迦给你兄弟拿鹤生了几个儿子，Some time later, Abraham was told, “Milcah has also borne sons to your brother Nahor:

²¹长子是乌斯，他的兄弟是布斯和亚兰的父亲基母利，Uz the firstborn, his brother Buz, Kemuel (the father of Aram),

²²并基薛、哈琐、必达、益拉、彼土利（彼土利生利百加）。”Chesed, Hazo, Pildash, Jidlaph, and Bethuel.”

²³这八个人都是密迦给亚伯拉罕的兄弟拿鹤生的。And Bethuel became the father of Rebekah. Milcah bore these eight sons to Abraham’s brother Nahor.

²⁴拿鹤的妾名叫流玛，生了提八、迦含、他辖，和玛迦。Moreover, Nahor’s concubine, whose name was Reumah, bore Tebah, Gaham, Tahash, and Maacah.

撒拉去世

¹撒拉享寿一百二十七岁，这是撒拉一生的岁数。Now Sarah lived to be 127 years old.

²撒拉死在迦南地的基列·亚巴，就是希伯仑。亚伯拉罕为她哀恸哭号。She died in Kiriath-arba (that is, Hebron) in the land of Canaan, and Abraham went out to mourn and to weep for her.

向赫人求一块坟地

³后来亚伯拉罕从死人面前起来，对赫人说：Then Abraham got up from beside his dead wife and said to the Hittites,

⁴“我在你们中间是外人，是寄居的。求你们在这里给我一块地，我好埋葬我的死人，使她不在我眼前。”“I am a foreigner and an outsider among you. Give me a burial site among you so that I can bury my dead.”

⁵赫人回答亚伯拉罕说：The Hittites replied to Abraham,

⁶“我主请听。你在我们中间是一位尊大的王子，只管在我们最好的坟地里埋葬你的死人；我们没有一人不容你在他的坟地里埋葬你的死人。”“Listen to us, sir. You are God’s chosen one among us. Bury your dead in the finest of our tombs. None of us will withhold his tomb for burying your dead.”

⁷亚伯拉罕就起来，向那地的赫人下拜，Then Abraham rose and bowed down before the people of the land, the Hittites.

⁸对他们说：“你们若有意叫我埋葬我的死人，使她不在我眼前，就请听我的话，为我求琐辖的儿子以弗仑，“If you are willing for me to bury my dead,” he said to them, “listen to me, and approach Ephron son of Zohar on my behalf

⁹把田头上那麦比拉洞给我，他可以按着足价卖给我，作我在你们中间的坟地。”to sell me the cave of Machpelah that belongs to him; it is at the end of his field. Let him sell it to me in your presence for full price, so that I may have a burial site.”

¹⁰当时以弗仑正坐在赫人中间。于是，赫人以弗仑在城门出入的赫人面前对亚伯拉罕说：Now Ephron was sitting among the sons of Heth. So in the presence of all the Hittites who had come to the gate of his city, Ephron the Hittite answered Abraham,

¹¹“不然，我主请听。我送给你这块田，连田间的洞也送给你，在我同族的人面前都给你，可以埋葬你的死人。”“No, my lord. Listen to me. I give you the field, and I give you the cave that is in it. I give it to you in the presence of my people. Bury your dead.”

¹²亚伯拉罕就在那地的人民面前下拜，Again Abraham bowed down before the people of the land

¹³在他们面前对以弗仑说：“你若应允，请听我的话。我要把田价给你，求你收下，我就在那里埋葬我的死人。”and said to Ephron in their presence, “If you will please listen to me, I will pay you the price of the field. Accept it from me, so that I may bury my dead there.”

¹⁴以弗仑回答亚伯拉罕说：Ephron answered Abraham,

¹⁵“我主请听。值四百舍客勒银子的一块田，在你我中间还算什么呢？只管埋葬你的死人吧！”“Listen to me, my lord. The land is worth four hundred shekels of silver, but what is that between you and me? Bury your dead.”

买下麦比拉洞

¹⁶亚伯拉罕听从了以弗仑，照着他在赫人面前所说的话，把买卖通用的银子平了四百舍客勒给以弗仑。Abraham agreed to Ephron’s terms and weighed out for him the price he had named in the hearing of the Hittites: four hundred shekels of silver, according to the standard of the merchants.

¹⁷于是，麦比拉、幔利前、以弗仑的那块田和其中的洞，并田间四围的树木，So Ephron’s field at Machpelah near Mamre, the cave that was in it, and all the trees within the boundaries of the field were deeded over

¹⁸都定准归与亚伯拉罕，乃是他在赫人面前并城门出入的人面前买妥的。to Abraham’s possession in the presence of all the Hittites who had come to the gate of his city.

¹⁹此后，亚伯拉罕把他妻子撒拉埋葬在迦南地幔利前的麦比拉田间的洞里。（幔利就是希伯仑）。After this, Abraham buried his wife Sarah in the cave of the field at Machpelah near Mamre (that is, Hebron) in the land of Canaan.

²⁰从此，那块田和田间的洞就借着赫人定准归与亚伯拉罕作坟地。So the field and its cave were deeded by the Hittites to Abraham as a burial site.

洁净长大痲疯的人

¹耶稣下了山，有许多人跟着他。When Jesus came down from the mountain, large crowds followed Him.

²有一个长大麻风的来拜他，说：“主若肯，必能叫我洁净了。”Suddenly a leper came and knelt before Him, saying, “Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean.”

³耶稣伸手摸他，说：“我肯，你洁净了吧！”他的大麻风立刻就洁净了。Jesus reached out His hand and touched the man. “I am willing,” He said. “Be clean!” And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.

⁴耶稣对他说：“你切不可告诉人，只要去把身体给祭司察看，献上摩西所吩咐的礼物，对众人作证据。”Then Jesus instructed him, “See that you don’t tell anyone. But go, show yourself to the priest and offer the gift prescribed by Moses, as a testimony to them.”

百夫长的信心

⁵耶稣进了迦百农，有一个百夫长进前来，求他说：When Jesus had entered Capernaum, a centurion came and pleaded with Him,

⁶“主啊，我的仆人害瘫痪病，躺在家里，甚是疼苦。”“Lord, my servant lies at home, paralyzed and in terrible agony.”

⁷耶稣说：“我去医治他。”“I will go and heal him,” Jesus replied.

⁸百夫长回答说：“主啊，你到我舍下，我不敢当；只要你说一句话，我的仆人就必好了。The centurion answered, “Lord, I am not worthy to have You come under my roof. But just say the word, and my servant will be healed.

⁹因为我在人的权下，也有兵在我以下；对这个说：‘去！’他就去；对那个说：‘来！’他就来；对我的仆人说：‘你做这事！’他就去做。”For I myself am a man under authority, with soldiers under me. I tell one to go, and he goes, and another to come, and he comes. I tell my servant to do something, and he does it.”

¹⁰耶稣听见就希奇，对跟从的人说：“我实在告诉你们，这么大的信心，就是在以色列中，我也没有遇见过。When Jesus heard this, He marveled and said to those following Him, “Truly I tell you, I have not found anyone in Israel with such great faith.

许多人从东从西来坐席

¹¹我又告诉你们，从东从西，将有许多人来，在天国里与亚伯拉罕、以撒、雅各一同坐席；I say to you that many will come from the east and the west to share the banquet with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven.

¹²惟有本国的子民竟被赶到外边黑暗里去，在那里必要哀哭切齿了。”But the sons of the kingdom will be thrown into the outer darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”

¹³耶稣对百夫长说：“你回去吧！照你的信心，给你成全了。”那时，他的仆人就好了。Then Jesus said to the centurion, “Go! As you have believed, so will it be done for you.” And his servant was healed at that very hour.

医好彼得的岳母

¹⁴耶稣到了彼得家里，见彼得的岳母害热病躺着。When Jesus arrived at Peter’s house, He saw Peter’s mother-in-law sick in bed with a fever.

¹⁵耶稣把她的手一摸，热就退了；她就起来服事耶稣。So He touched her hand, and the fever left her, and she got up and began to serve Him.

赶鬼医病，应验先知的话

¹⁶到了晚上，有人带着许多被鬼附的来到耶稣跟前，他只用一句话就把鬼都赶出去，并且治好了一切有病的人。When evening came, many who were demon-possessed were brought to Jesus, and He drove out the spirits with a word and healed all the sick.

¹⁷这是要应验先知以赛亚的话，说：他代替我们的软弱，担当我们的疾病。This was to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet Isaiah: “He took up our infirmities and carried our diseases.”
