我要時時稱頌耶和華

¹（大衛在亞比米勒面前裝瘋，被他趕出去，就作這詩。）我要時時稱頌耶和華；讚美他的話必常在我口中。Of David, when he pretended to be insane before Abimelech, so that the king drove him away. I will bless the LORD at all times; His praise will always be on my lips.

²我的心必因耶和華誇耀；謙卑人聽見就要喜樂。My soul boasts in the LORD; let the oppressed hear and rejoice.

³你們和我當稱耶和華為大，一同高舉他的名。Magnify the LORD with me; let us exalt His name together.

我曾尋求耶和華

⁴我曾尋求耶和華，他就應允我，救我脫離了一切的恐懼。I sought the LORD, and He answered me; He delivered me from all my fears.

⁵凡仰望他的，便有光榮；他們的臉必不蒙羞。Those who look to Him are radiant with joy; their faces shall never be ashamed.

⁶我這困苦人呼求，耶和華便垂聽，救我脫離一切患難。This poor man called out, and the LORD heard him; He saved him from all his troubles.

⁷耶和華的使者在敬畏他的人四圍安營，搭救他們。The angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear Him, and he delivers them.

你們要嘗嘗主恩的滋味

⁸你們要嘗嘗主恩的滋味，便知道他是美善；投靠他的人有福了！Taste and see that the LORD is good; blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him!

⁹耶和華的聖民哪，你們當敬畏他，因敬畏他的一無所缺。Fear the LORD, you His saints, for those who fear Him lack nothing.

¹⁰少壯獅子還缺食忍餓，但尋求耶和華的甚麼好處都不缺。Young lions go lacking and hungry, but those who seek the LORD lack no good thing.

敬畏耶和華的道

¹¹眾弟子啊，你們當來聽我的話！我要將敬畏耶和華的道教訓你們。Come, children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the LORD.

¹²有何人喜好存活，愛慕長壽，得享美福，Who is the man who delights in life, who desires to see good days?

¹³就要禁止舌頭不出惡言，嘴唇不說詭詐的話。Keep your tongue from evil and your lips from deceitful speech.

¹⁴要離惡行善，尋求和睦，一心追趕。Turn away from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it.

耶和華靠近傷心的人

¹⁵耶和華的眼目看顧義人；他的耳朵聽他們的呼求。The eyes of the LORD are on the righteous, and His ears are inclined to their cry.

¹⁶耶和華向行惡的人變臉，要從世上除滅他們的名號。But the face of the LORD is against those who do evil, to wipe out all memory of them from the earth.

¹⁷義人呼求，耶和華聽見了，便救他們脫離一切患難。The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears; He delivers them from all their troubles.

¹⁸耶和華靠近傷心的人，拯救靈性痛悔的人。The LORD is near to the brokenhearted; He saves the contrite in spirit.

¹⁹義人多有苦難，但耶和華救他脫離這一切，Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the LORD delivers him from them all.

²⁰又保全他一身的骨頭，連一根也不折斷。He protects all his bones; not one of them will be broken.

²¹惡必害死惡人；恨惡義人的，必被定罪。Evil will slay the wicked, and the haters of the righteous will be condemned.

²²耶和華救贖他僕人的靈魂；凡投靠他的，必不致定罪。The LORD redeems His servants, and none who take refuge in Him will be condemned.

求你與他們相爭

¹（大衛的詩。）耶和華啊，與我相爭的，求你與他們相爭！與我相戰的，求你與他們相戰！Of David. Contend with my opponents, O LORD; fight against those who fight against me.

²拿著大小的盾牌，起來幫助我。Take up Your shield and buckler; arise and come to my aid.

³抽出槍來，擋住那追趕我的；求你對我的靈魂說：我是拯救你的。Draw the spear and javelin against my pursuers; say to my soul: “I am your salvation.”

⁴願那尋索我命的，蒙羞受辱！願那謀害我的，退後羞愧！May those who seek my life be disgraced and put to shame; may those who plan to harm me be driven back and confounded.

⁵願他們像風前的糠，有耶和華的使者趕逐他們。May they be like chaff in the wind, as the angel of the LORD drives them away.

⁶願他們的道路又暗又滑，有耶和華的使者追趕他們。May their path be dark and slick, as the angel of the LORD pursues.

⁷因他們無故地為我暗設網羅，無故地挖坑，要害我的性命。For without cause they laid their net for me; without reason they dug a pit for my soul.

⁸願災禍忽然臨到他身上！願他暗設的網纏住自己！願他落在其中遭災禍！May ruin befall them by surprise; may the net they hid ensnare them; may they fall into the hazard they created.

⁹我的心必靠耶和華快樂，靠他的救恩高興。Then my soul will rejoice in the LORD and exult in His salvation.

¹⁰我的骨頭都要說：耶和華啊，誰能像你救護困苦人脫離那比他強壯的，救護困苦窮乏人脫離那搶奪他的？All my bones will exclaim, “Who is like You, O LORD, who delivers the afflicted from the aggressor, the poor and needy from the robber?”

以惡報善的人

¹¹凶惡的見證人起來，盤問我所不知道的事。Hostile witnesses come forward; they make charges I know nothing about.

¹²他們向我以惡報善，使我的靈魂孤苦。They repay me evil for good, to the bereavement of my soul.

¹³至於我，當他們有病的時候，我便穿麻衣，禁食，刻苦己心；我所求的都歸到自己的懷中。Yet when they were ill, I put on sackcloth; I humbled myself with fasting, but my prayers returned unanswered.

¹⁴我這樣行，好像他是我的朋友，我的弟兄；我屈身悲哀，如同人為母親哀痛。I paced about as for my friend or brother; I was bowed down with grief, like one mourning for his mother.

¹⁵我在患難中，他們卻歡喜，大家聚集。我所不認識的那些下流人聚集攻擊我；他們不住地把我撕裂。But when I stumbled, they assembled in glee; they gathered together against me. Assailants I did not know slandered me without ceasing.

¹⁶他們如同席上好嬉笑的狂妄人向我咬牙。Like godless jesters at a feast, they gnashed their teeth at me.

主啊，要到幾時呢

¹⁷主啊，你看著不理要到幾時呢？求你救我的靈魂脫離他們的殘害！救我的生命（生命：原文是獨一者）脫離少壯獅子！How long, O Lord, will You look on? Rescue my soul from their ravages, my precious life from these lions.

¹⁸我在大會中要稱謝你，在眾民中要讚美你。Then I will give You thanks in the great assembly; I will praise You among many people.

¹⁹求你不容那無理與我為仇的向我誇耀！不容那無故恨我的向我擠眼！Let not my enemies gloat over me without cause, nor those who hate me without reason wink in malice.

²⁰因為他們不說和平話，倒想出詭詐的言語害地上的安靜人。For they do not speak peace, but they devise deceitful schemes against those who live quietly in the land.

²¹他們大大張口攻擊我，說：阿哈，阿哈，我們的眼已經看見了！They gape at me and say, “Aha, aha! Our eyes have seen!”

求你奮興醒起

²²耶和華啊，你已經看見了，求你不要閉口！主啊，求你不要遠離我！O LORD, You have seen it; be not silent. O Lord, be not far from me.

²³我的　神我的主啊，求你奮興醒起，判清我的事，伸明我的冤！Awake and rise to my defense, to my cause, my God and my Lord!

²⁴耶和華─我的　神啊，求你按你的公義判斷我，不容他們向我誇耀！Vindicate me by Your righteousness, O LORD my God, and do not let them gloat over me.

²⁵不容他們心裡說：阿哈，遂我們的心願了！不容他們說：我們已經把他吞了！Let them not say in their hearts, “Aha, just what we wanted!” Let them not say, “We have swallowed him up!”

²⁶願那喜歡我遭難的一同抱愧蒙羞！願那向我妄自尊大的披慚愧，蒙羞辱！May those who gloat in my distress be ashamed and confounded; may those who exalt themselves over me be clothed in shame and reproach.

²⁷願那喜悅我冤屈得伸的（冤屈得伸：原文是公義）歡呼快樂；願他們常說：當尊耶和華為大！耶和華喜悅他的僕人平安。May those who favor my vindication shout for joy and gladness; may they always say, “Exalted be the LORD who delights in His servant’s well-being.”

²⁸我的舌頭要終日論說你的公義，時常讚美你。Then my tongue will proclaim Your righteousness and Your praises all day long.

惡人心裡不怕神

¹（耶和華的僕人大衛的詩，交與伶長。）惡人的罪過在他心裡說：我眼中不怕　神！For the choirmaster. A Psalm of David, the servant of the LORD. An oracle is in my heart regarding the transgression of the wicked man: There is no fear of God before his eyes.

²他自誇自媚，以為他的罪孽終不顯露，不被恨惡。For his eyes are too full of conceit to detect or hate his own sin.

³他口中的言語盡是罪孽詭詐；他與智慧善行已經斷絕。The words of his mouth are wicked and deceitful; he has ceased to be wise and well-doing.

⁴他在床上圖謀罪孽，定意行不善的道，不憎惡惡事。Even on his bed he plots wickedness; he sets himself on a path that is not good; he fails to reject evil.

你的慈愛上及諸天

⁵耶和華啊，你的慈愛上及諸天；你的信實達到穹蒼。Your loving devotion, O LORD, reaches to the heavens, Your faithfulness to the clouds.

⁶你的公義好像高山；你的判斷如同深淵。耶和華啊，人民、牲畜，你都救護。Your righteousness is like the highest mountains; Your judgments are like the deepest sea. O LORD, You preserve man and beast.

⁷神啊，你的慈愛何其寶貴！世人投靠在你翅膀的蔭下。How precious is Your loving devotion, O God, that the children of men take refuge in the shadow of Your wings!

⁸他們必因你殿裡的肥甘得以飽足；你也必叫他們喝你樂河的水。They feast on the abundance of Your house, and You give them drink from Your river of delights.

⁹因為，在你那裡有生命的源頭；在你的光中，我們必得見光。For with You is the fountain of life; in Your light we see light.

願你常施慈愛

¹⁰願你常施慈愛給認識你的人，常以公義待心裡正直的人。Extend Your loving devotion to those who know You, and Your righteousness to the upright in heart.

¹¹不容驕傲人的腳踐踏我；不容凶惡人的手趕逐我。Let not the foot of the proud come against me, nor the hand of the wicked drive me away.

¹²在那裡，作孽的人已經仆倒；他們被推倒，不能再起來。There the evildoers lie fallen, thrown down and unable to rise.

保羅為同胞憂愁

¹我在基督裡說真話，並不謊言，有我良心被聖靈感動，給我作見證：I speak the truth in Christ; I am not lying, as confirmed by my conscience in the Holy Spirit.

²我是大有憂愁，心裡時常傷痛；I have deep sorrow and unceasing anguish in my heart.

³為我弟兄，我骨肉之親，就是自己被咒詛，與基督分離，我也願意。For I could wish that I myself were cursed and cut off from Christ for the sake of my brothers, my own flesh and blood,

⁴他們是以色列人；那兒子的名分、榮耀、諸約、律法、禮儀、應許都是他們的。the people of Israel. Theirs is the adoption as sons; theirs the divine glory and the covenants; theirs the giving of the law, the temple worship, and the promises.

⁵列祖就是他們的祖宗；按肉體說，基督也是從他們出來的。他是在萬有之上，永遠可稱頌的　神。阿們！Theirs are the patriarchs, and from them proceeds the human descent of Christ, who is God over all, forever worthy of praise! Amen.

神的話沒有落空

⁶這不是說　神的話落了空。因為從以色列生的不都是以色列人，It is not as though God’s word has failed. For not all who are descended from Israel are Israel.

⁷也不因為是亞伯拉罕的後裔就都作他的兒女；惟獨「從以撒生的才要稱為你的後裔。」Nor because they are Abraham’s descendants are they all his children. On the contrary, “Through Isaac your offspring will be reckoned.”

⁸這就是說，肉身所生的兒女不是　神的兒女，惟獨那應許的兒女才算是後裔。So it is not the children of the flesh who are God’s children, but it is the children of the promise who are regarded as offspring.

⁹因為所應許的話是這樣說：「到明年這時候我要來，撒拉必生一個兒子。」For this is what the promise stated: “At the appointed time I will return, and Sarah will have a son.”

雅各與以掃

¹⁰不但如此，還有利百加，既從一個人，就是從我們的祖宗以撒懷了孕，Not only that, but Rebecca’s children were conceived by one man, our father Isaac.

¹¹（雙子還沒有生下來，善惡還沒有做出來，只因要顯明　神揀選人的旨意，不在乎人的行為，乃在乎召人的主。）Yet before the twins were born or had done anything good or bad, in order that God’s plan of election might stand,

¹²神就對利百加說：「將來，大的要服事小的。」not by works but by Him who calls, she was told, “The older will serve the younger.”

神有甚麼不公平嗎

¹⁴這樣，我們可說甚麼呢？難道　神有甚麼不公平嗎？斷乎沒有！What then shall we say? Is God unjust? Certainly not!

¹⁵因他對摩西說：我要憐憫誰就憐憫誰，要恩待誰就恩待誰。For He says to Moses: “I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion.”

¹⁶據此看來，這不在乎那定意的，也不在乎那奔跑的，只在乎發憐憫的　神。So then, it does not depend on man’s desire or effort, but on God’s mercy.

法老的例子

¹⁷因為經上有話向法老說：「我將你興起來，特要在你身上彰顯我的權能，並要使我的名傳遍天下。」For the Scripture says to Pharaoh: “I raised you up for this very purpose, that I might display My power in you, and that My name might be proclaimed in all the earth.”

¹⁸如此看來，　神要憐憫誰就憐憫誰，要叫誰剛硬就叫誰剛硬。Therefore God has mercy on whom He wants to have mercy, and He hardens whom He wants to harden.
