約瑟子孫的地界

¹約瑟的子孫拈鬮所得之地是從靠近耶利哥的約旦河起，以耶利哥東邊的水為界：從耶利哥上去，通過山地的曠野，到伯特利；The allotment for the descendants of Joseph extended from the Jordan at Jericho to the waters of Jericho on the east, through the wilderness that goes up from Jericho into the hill country of Bethel.

²又從伯特利到路斯，接連到亞基人的境界，至亞他綠；It went on from Bethel (that is, Luz) and proceeded to the border of the Archites in Ataroth.

³又往西下到押利提人的境界，到下伯‧和崙的境界，直到基色，通到海為止。Then it descended westward to the border of the Japhletites as far as the border of Lower Beth-horon and on to Gezer, and it ended at the Sea.

⁴約瑟的兒子瑪拿西、以法蓮就得了他們的地業。So Ephraim and Manasseh, the sons of Joseph, received their inheritance.

以法蓮的地業

⁵以法蓮子孫的境界，按著宗族所得的，記在下面：他們地業的東界是亞他綠‧亞達到上伯‧和崙；This was the territory of the descendants of Ephraim by their clans: The border of their inheritance went from Ataroth-addar in the east to Upper Beth-horon

⁶往西通到北邊的密米他，又向東繞到他納‧示羅，又接連到雅挪哈的東邊；and out toward the Sea. From Michmethath on the north it turned eastward toward Taanath-shiloh and passed by it to Janoah on the east.

⁷從雅挪哈下到亞他綠，又到拿拉，達到耶利哥，通到約旦河為止；From Janoah it went down to Ataroth and Naarah, and then reached Jericho and came out at the Jordan.

⁸從他普亞往西，到加拿河，直通到海為止。這就是以法蓮支派按著宗族所得的地業。From Tappuah the border went westward to the Brook of Kanah and ended at the Sea. This was the inheritance of the clans of the tribe of Ephraim,

⁹另外在瑪拿西人地業中得了些城邑和屬城的村莊。這都是分給以法蓮子孫的。along with all the cities and villages set apart for the descendants of Ephraim within the inheritance of Manasseh.

迦南人仍住在基色

¹⁰他們沒有趕出住基色的迦南人；迦南人卻住在以法蓮人中間，成為做苦工的僕人，直到今日。But they did not drive out the Canaanites who lived in Gezer. So the Canaanites dwell among the Ephraimites to this day, but they are forced laborers.

瑪拿西的地業

¹瑪拿西是約瑟的長子，他的支派拈鬮所得之地記在下面。至於瑪拿西的長子基列之父（或譯：主）瑪吉，因為是勇士就得了基列和巴珊。Now this was the allotment for the tribe of Manasseh as Joseph’s firstborn son, namely for Machir the firstborn of Manasseh and father of the Gileadites, who had received Gilead and Bashan because Machir was a man of war.

²瑪拿西其餘的子孫，按著宗族拈鬮分地，就是亞比以謝子孫，希勒子孫，亞斯列子孫，示劍子孫，希弗子孫，示米大子孫；這些按著宗族，都是約瑟兒子瑪拿西子孫的男丁。So this allotment was for the rest of the descendants of Manasseh—the clans of Abiezer, Helek, Asriel, Shechem, Hepher, and Shemida. These are the other male descendants of the clans of Manasseh son of Joseph.

西羅非哈的女兒得產業

³瑪拿西的玄孫，瑪吉的曾孫，基列的孫子，希弗的兒子西羅非哈沒有兒子，只有女兒。他的女兒名叫瑪拉、挪阿、曷拉、密迦、得撒；But Zelophehad son of Hepher (the son of Gilead, the son of Machir, the son of Manasseh) had no sons but only daughters. These are the names of his daughters: Mahlah, Noah, Hoglah, Milcah, and Tirzah.

⁴她們來到祭司以利亞撒和嫩的兒子約書亞並眾首領面前，說：「耶和華曾吩咐摩西在我們弟兄中分給我們產業。」於是約書亞照耶和華所吩咐的，在她們伯叔中，把產業分給她們。They approached Eleazar the priest, Joshua son of Nun, and the leaders, and said, “The LORD commanded Moses to give us an inheritance among our brothers.” So Joshua gave them an inheritance among their father’s brothers, in keeping with the command of the LORD.

⁵除了約旦河東的基列和巴珊地之外，還有十分地歸瑪拿西，Thus ten shares fell to Manasseh, in addition to the land of Gilead and Bashan beyond the Jordan,

⁶因為瑪拿西的孫女們在瑪拿西的孫子中得了產業。基列地是屬瑪拿西其餘的子孫。because the daughters of Manasseh received an inheritance among his sons. And the land of Gilead belonged to the rest of the sons of Manasseh.

瑪拿西的境界

⁷瑪拿西的境界：從亞設起，到示劍前的密米他，往北到隱‧他普亞居民之地。Now the border of Manasseh went from Asher to Michmethath near Shechem, then southward to include the inhabitants of En-tappuah.

⁸他普亞地歸瑪拿西，只是瑪拿西境界上的他普亞城歸以法蓮子孫。The region of Tappuah belonged to Manasseh, but Tappuah itself, on the border of Manasseh, belonged to Ephraim.

⁹其界下到加拿河的南邊。在瑪拿西城邑中的這些城邑都歸以法蓮。瑪拿西的地界是在河北直通到海為止；From there the border continued southward to the Brook of Kanah. There were cities belonging to Ephraim among the cities of Manasseh, but the border of Manasseh was on the north side of the brook and ended at the Sea.

¹⁰南歸以法蓮，北歸瑪拿西，以海為界；北邊到亞設，東邊到以薩迦。Ephraim’s territory was to the south, and Manasseh’s was to the north, having the Sea as its border and adjoining Asher on the north and Issachar on the east.

¹¹瑪拿西在以薩迦和亞設境內，有伯‧善和屬伯‧善的鎮市，以伯蓮和屬以伯蓮的鎮市，多珥的居民和屬多珥的鎮市；又有三處山岡，就是隱‧多珥和屬隱‧多珥的鎮市；他納的居民和屬他納的鎮市，米吉多的居民和屬米吉多的鎮市。Within Issachar and Asher, Manasseh was assigned Beth-shean, Ibleam, Dor (that is, Naphath), Endor, Taanach, and Megiddo, each with their surrounding settlements.

不能趕出迦南人

¹²只是瑪拿西子孫不能趕出這些城的居民，迦南人偏要住在那地。But the descendants of Manasseh were unable to occupy these cities, because the Canaanites were determined to stay in this land.

¹³及至以色列人強盛了，就使迦南人做苦工，沒有把他們全然趕出。However, when the Israelites grew stronger, they put the Canaanites to forced labor; but they failed to drive them out completely.

約瑟子孫嫌地窄小

¹⁴約瑟的子孫對約書亞說：「耶和華到如今既然賜福與我們，我們也族大人多，你為甚麼僅將一鬮一段之地分給我們為業呢？」Then the sons of Joseph said to Joshua, “Why have you given us only one portion as an inheritance? We have many people, because the LORD has blessed us abundantly.”

¹⁵約書亞說：「你們如果族大人多，嫌以法蓮山地窄小，就可以上比利洗人、利乏音人之地，在樹林中砍伐樹木。」Joshua answered them, “If you have so many people that the hill country of Ephraim is too small for you, go to the forest and clear for yourself an area in the land of the Perizzites and the Rephaim.”

¹⁶約瑟的子孫說：「那山地容不下我們，並且住平原的迦南人，就是住伯‧善和屬伯‧善的鎮市，並住耶斯列平原的人，都有鐵車。」“The hill country is not enough for us,” they replied, “and all the Canaanites who live in the valley have iron chariots, both in Beth-shean with its towns and in the Valley of Jezreel.”

¹⁷約書亞對約瑟家，就是以法蓮和瑪拿西人，說：「你是族大人多，並且強盛，不可僅有一鬮之地，So Joshua said to the house of Joseph—to Ephraim and Manasseh—“You have many people and great strength. You shall not have just one allotment,

¹⁸山地也要歸你，雖是樹林，你也可以砍伐；靠近之地必歸你。迦南人雖有鐵車，雖是強盛，你也能把他們趕出去。」because the hill country will be yours as well. It is a forest; clear it, and its farthest limits will be yours. Although the Canaanites have iron chariots and although they are strong, you can drive them out.”

會幕設在示羅

¹以色列的全會眾都聚集在示羅，把會幕設立在那裡，那地已經被他們制伏了。Then the whole congregation of Israel assembled at Shiloh and set up the Tent of Meeting there. And though the land was subdued before them,

²以色列人中其餘的七個支派還沒有分給他們地業。there were still seven tribes of Israel who had not yet received their inheritance.

你們耽延要到幾時

³約書亞對以色列人說：「耶和華－你們列祖的　神所賜給你們的地，你們耽延不去得，要到幾時呢？So Joshua said to the Israelites, “How long will you put off entering and possessing the land that the LORD, the God of your fathers, has given you?

⁴你們每支派當選舉三個人，我要打發他們去，他們就要起身走遍那地，按著各支派應得的地業寫明（或譯：畫圖），就回到我這裡來。Appoint three men from each tribe, and I will send them out to survey the land and map it out, according to the inheritance of each. Then they will return to me

⁵他們要將地分做七分；猶大仍在南方，住在他的境內。約瑟家仍在北方，住在他的境內。and divide the land into seven portions. Judah shall remain in their territory in the south, and the house of Joseph shall remain in their territory in the north.

⁶你們要將地分做七分，寫明了拿到我這裡來。我要在耶和華─我們　神面前，為你們拈鬮。When you have mapped out the seven portions of land and brought it to me, I will cast lots for you here in the presence of the LORD our God.

⁷利未人在你們中間沒有分，因為供耶和華祭司的職任就是他們的產業。迦得支派、流便支派，和瑪拿西半支派已經在約旦河東得了地業，就是耶和華僕人摩西所給他們的。」The Levites, however, have no portion among you, because their inheritance is the priesthood of the LORD. And Gad, Reuben, and half the tribe of Manasseh have already received the inheritance that Moses the servant of the LORD gave them beyond the Jordan to the east.”

劃明地勢，拈鬮分地

⁸劃地勢的人起身去的時候，約書亞囑咐他們說：「你們去走遍那地，劃明地勢，就回到我這裡來。我要在示羅這裡，耶和華面前，為你們拈鬮。」As the men got up to go out, Joshua commanded them to map out the land, saying, “Go and survey the land, map it out, and return to me. Then I will cast lots for you here in Shiloh in the presence of the LORD.”

⁹他們就去了，走遍那地，按著城邑分做七分，寫在冊子上，回到示羅營中見約書亞。So the men departed and went throughout the land, mapping it city by city into seven portions. Then they returned with the document to Joshua at the camp in Shiloh.

¹⁰約書亞就在示羅，耶和華面前，為他們拈鬮。約書亞在那裡，按著以色列人的支派，將地分給他們。And Joshua cast lots for them in the presence of the LORD at Shiloh, where he distributed the land to the Israelites according to their divisions.

便雅憫的地界

¹¹便雅憫支派，按著宗族拈鬮所得之地，是在猶大、約瑟子孫中間。The first lot came up for the clans of the tribe of Benjamin. Their allotted territory lay between the tribes of Judah and Joseph:

¹²他們的北界是從約旦河起，往上貼近耶利哥的北邊；又往西通過山地，直到伯‧亞文的曠野；On the north side their border began at the Jordan, went up past the northern slope of Jericho, headed west through the hill country, and came out at the wilderness of Beth-aven.

¹³從那裡往南接連到路斯，貼近路斯（路斯就是伯特利），又下到亞他綠‧亞達，靠近下伯‧和崙南邊的山；From there the border crossed over to the southern slope of Luz (that is, Bethel) and went down to Ataroth-addar on the hill south of Lower Beth-horon.

¹⁴從那裡往西，又轉向南，從伯‧和崙南對面的山，直達到猶大人的城基列‧巴力（基列‧巴力就是基列‧耶琳）；這是西界。On the west side the border curved southward from the hill facing Beth-horon on the south and came out at Kiriath-baal (that is, Kiriath-jearim), a city of the sons of Judah. This was the western side.

¹⁵南界是從基列‧耶琳的儘邊起，往西達到尼弗多亞的水源；On the south side the border began at the outskirts of Kiriath-jearim and extended westward to the spring at the Waters of Nephtoah.

¹⁶又下到欣嫩子谷對面山的儘邊，就是利乏音谷北邊的山；又下到欣嫩谷，貼近耶布斯的南邊；又下到隱‧羅結；Then it went down to the foot of the hill that faces the Valley of Ben-hinnom at the northern end of the Valley of Rephaim and ran down the Valley of Hinnom toward the southern slope of the Jebusites and downward to En-rogel.

¹⁷又往北通到隱‧示麥，達到亞都冥坡對面的基利綠；又下到流便之子波罕的磐石；From there it curved northward and proceeded to En-shemesh and on to Geliloth facing the Ascent of Adummim, and continued down to the Stone of Bohan son of Reuben.

¹⁸又接連到亞拉巴對面，往北下到亞拉巴；Then it went on to the northern slope of Beth-arabah and went down into the valley.

¹⁹又接連到伯‧曷拉的北邊，直通到鹽海的北汊，就是約旦河的南頭；這是南界。The border continued to the northern slope of Beth-hoglah and came out at the northern bay of the Salt Sea, at the mouth of the Jordan. This was the southern border.

²⁰東界是約旦河。這是便雅憫人按著宗族，照他們四圍的交界所得的地業。On the east side the border was the Jordan. These were the borders around the inheritance of the clans of the tribe of Benjamin.

便雅憫的城邑

²¹便雅憫支派按著宗族所得的城邑就是：耶利哥、伯‧曷拉、伊麥‧基悉、These were the cities of the clans of the tribe of Benjamin: Jericho, Beth-hoglah, Emek-keziz,

²²伯‧亞拉巴、洗瑪臉、伯特利、Beth-arabah, Zemaraim, Bethel,

²³亞文、巴拉、俄弗拉、Avvim, Parah, Ophrah,

²⁴基法‧阿摩尼、俄弗尼、迦巴，共十二座城，還有屬城的村莊；Chephar-ammoni, Ophni, and Geba—twelve cities, along with their villages.

²⁵又有基遍、拉瑪、比錄、Gibeon, Ramah, Beeroth,

²⁶米斯巴、基非拉、摩撒、Mizpeh, Chephirah, Mozah,

²⁷利堅、伊利毘勒、他拉拉、Rekem, Irpeel, Taralah,

²⁸洗拉、以利弗、耶布斯（耶布斯就是耶路撒冷）、基比亞、基列，共十四座城，還有屬城的村莊。這是便雅憫人按著宗族所得的地業。Zelah, Haeleph, Jebus (that is, Jerusalem), Gibeah, and Kiriath-jearim—fourteen cities, along with their villages. This was the inheritance of the clans of the tribe of Benjamin.

定意往耶路撒冷去

⁵¹耶穌被接上升的日子將到，他就定意向耶路撒冷去，As the day of His ascension approached, Jesus resolutely set out for Jerusalem.

撒馬利亞人不接待

⁵²便打發使者在他前頭走。他們到了撒馬利亞的一個村莊，要為他預備。He sent messengers on ahead, who went into a village of the Samaritans to make arrangements for Him.

⁵³那裡的人不接待他，因他面向耶路撒冷去。But the people there refused to welcome Him, because He was heading for Jerusalem.

⁵⁴他的門徒雅各、約翰看見了，就說：「主啊，你要我們吩咐火從天上降下來燒滅他們，像以利亞所做的（有古卷沒有像以利亞所做的這幾個字）嗎？」When the disciples James and John saw this, they asked, “Lord, do You want us to call down fire from heaven to consume them?”

⁵⁵耶穌轉身責備兩個門徒，說：「你們的心如何，你們並不知道。But Jesus turned and rebuked them.

⁵⁶人子來不是要滅人的性命（性命或譯：靈魂；下同），是要救人的性命。」說著就往別的村莊去了（有古卷只有五十五節首句，五十六節末句）。And He and His disciples went on to another village.

人子沒有枕頭的地方

⁵⁷他們走路的時候，有一人對耶穌說：「你無論往哪裡去，我要跟從你。」As they were walking along the road, someone said to Jesus, “I will follow You wherever You go.”

⁵⁸耶穌說：「狐狸有洞，天空的飛鳥有窩，只是人子沒有枕頭的地方。」Jesus replied, “Foxes have dens and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay His head.”

任憑死人埋葬死人

⁵⁹又對一個人說：「跟從我來！」那人說：「主，容我先回去埋葬我的父親。」Then He said to another man, “Follow Me.” The man replied, “Lord, first let me go and bury my father.”

⁶⁰耶穌說：「任憑死人埋葬他們的死人，你只管去傳揚　神國的道。」But Jesus told him, “Let the dead bury their own dead. You, however, go and proclaim the kingdom of God.”

手扶著犁向後看

⁶¹又有一人說：「主，我要跟從你，但容我先去辭別我家裡的人。」Still another said, “I will follow You, Lord; but first let me bid farewell to my family.”

⁶²耶穌說：「手扶著犁向後看的，不配進　神的國。」Then Jesus declared, “No one who puts his hand to the plow and then looks back is fit for the kingdom of God.”
