流便和迦得要約旦河東的地

¹流便子孫和迦得子孫的牲畜極其眾多；他們看見雅謝地和基列地是可牧放牲畜之地，Now the Reubenites and Gadites, who had very large herds and flocks, surveyed the lands of Jazer and Gilead, and they saw that the region was suitable for livestock.

²就來見摩西和祭司以利亞撒，並會眾的首領，說：So the Gadites and Reubenites came to Moses, Eleazar the priest, and the leaders of the congregation, and said,

³「亞大錄、底本、雅謝、寧拉、希實本、以利亞利、示班、尼波、比穩，“Ataroth, Dibon, Jazer, Nimrah, Heshbon, Elealeh, Sebam, Nebo, and Beon,

⁴就是耶和華在以色列會眾前面所攻取之地，是可牧放牲畜之地，你僕人也有牲畜」；which the LORD conquered before the congregation of Israel, are suitable for livestock—and your servants have livestock.”

⁵又說：「我們若在你眼前蒙恩，求你把這地給我們為業，不要領我們過約旦河。」“If we have found favor in your sight,” they said, “let this land be given to your servants as a possession. Do not make us cross the Jordan.”

摩西責備他們

⁶摩西對迦得子孫和流便子孫說：「難道你們的弟兄去打仗，你們竟坐在這裡嗎？But Moses asked the Gadites and Reubenites, “Shall your brothers go to war while you sit here?

⁷你們為何使以色列人灰心喪膽、不過去進入耶和華所賜給他們的那地呢？Why are you discouraging the Israelites from crossing into the land that the LORD has given them?

⁸我先前從加低斯‧巴尼亞打發你們先祖去窺探那地，他們也是這樣行。This is what your fathers did when I sent them from Kadesh-barnea to inspect the land.

⁹他們上以實各谷，去窺探那地回來的時候，使以色列人灰心喪膽，不進入耶和華所賜給他們的地。For when your fathers went up to the Valley of Eshcol and saw the land, they discouraged the Israelites from entering the land that the LORD had given them.

¹⁰當日，耶和華的怒氣發作，就起誓說：So the anger of the LORD was kindled that day, and He swore an oath, saying,

¹¹『凡從埃及上來、二十歲以外的人斷不得看見我對亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各起誓應許之地，因為他們沒有專心跟從我。‘Because they did not follow Me wholeheartedly, not one of the men twenty years of age or older who came out of Egypt will see the land that I swore to give Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob—

¹²惟有基尼洗族耶孚尼的兒子迦勒和嫩的兒子約書亞可以看見，因為他們專心跟從我。』not one except Caleb son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite and Joshua son of Nun—because they did follow the LORD wholeheartedly.’

¹³耶和華的怒氣向以色列人發作，使他們在曠野飄流四十年，等到在耶和華眼前行惡的那一代人都消滅了。The anger of the LORD burned against Israel, and He made them wander in the wilderness forty years, until the whole generation who had done evil in His sight was gone.

¹⁴誰知，你們起來接續先祖，增添罪人的數目，使耶和華向以色列大發烈怒。Now behold, you, a brood of sinners, have risen up in place of your fathers to further stoke the burning anger of the LORD against Israel.

¹⁵你們若退後不跟從他，他還要把以色列人撇在曠野，便是你們使這眾民滅亡。」For if you turn away from following Him, He will once again leave this people in the wilderness, and you will be the cause of their destruction.”

兩支派的承諾

¹⁶兩支派的人挨近摩西，說：「我們要在這裡為牲畜壘圈，為婦人孩子造城。Then the Gadites and Reubenites approached Moses and said, “We want to build sheepfolds here for our livestock and cities for our little ones.

¹⁷我們自己要帶兵器行在以色列人的前頭，好把他們領到他們的地方；但我們的婦人孩子，因這地居民的緣故，要住在堅固的城內。But we will arm ourselves and be ready to go ahead of the Israelites until we have brought them into their place. Meanwhile, our little ones will remain in the fortified cities for protection from the inhabitants of the land.

¹⁸我們不回家，直等到以色列人各承受自己的產業。We will not return to our homes until every Israelite has taken possession of his inheritance.

¹⁹我們不和他們在約旦河那邊一帶之地同受產業，因為我們的產業是坐落在約旦河東邊這裡。」Yet we will not have an inheritance with them across the Jordan and beyond, because our inheritance has come to us on the east side of the Jordan.”

摩西的條件

²⁰摩西對他們說：「你們若這樣行，在耶和華面前帶著兵器出去打仗，Moses replied, “If you will do this—if you will arm yourselves before the LORD for battle,

²¹所有帶兵器的人都要在耶和華面前過約旦河，等他趕出他的仇敵，and if every one of your armed men crosses the Jordan before the LORD, until He has driven His enemies out before Him,

²²那地被耶和華制伏了，然後你們可以回來，向耶和華和以色列才為無罪，這地也必在耶和華面前歸你們為業。then when the land is subdued before the LORD, you may return and be free of obligation to the LORD and to Israel. And this land will belong to you as a possession before the LORD.

²³倘若你們不這樣行，就得罪耶和華，要知道你們的罪必追上你們。But if you do not do this, you will certainly sin against the LORD—and be assured that your sin will find you out.

²⁴如今你們口中所出的，只管去行，為你們的婦人孩子造城，為你們的羊群壘圈。」Build cities for your little ones and folds for your flocks, but do what you have promised.”

²⁵迦得子孫和流便子孫對摩西說：「僕人要照我主所吩咐的去行。The Gadites and Reubenites said to Moses, “Your servants will do just as our lord commands.

²⁶我們的妻子、孩子、羊群，和所有的牲畜都要留在基列的各城。Our children, our wives, our livestock, and all our animals will remain here in the cities of Gilead.

²⁷但你的僕人，凡帶兵器的，都要照我主所說的話，在耶和華面前過去打仗。」But your servants are equipped for war, and every man will cross over to the battle before the LORD, just as our lord says.”

囑咐以利亞撒和約書亞

²⁸於是，摩西為他們囑咐祭司以利亞撒和嫩的兒子約書亞，並以色列眾支派的族長，說：So Moses gave orders about them to Eleazar the priest, to Joshua son of Nun, and to the family leaders of the tribes of Israel.

²⁹「迦得子孫和流便子孫，凡帶兵器在耶和華面前去打仗的，若與你們一同過約旦河，那地被你們制伏了，你們就要把基列地給他們為業。And Moses said to them, “If the Gadites and Reubenites cross the Jordan with you, with every man armed for battle before the LORD, and the land is subdued before you, then you are to give them the land of Gilead as a possession.

³⁰倘若他們不帶兵器和你們一同過去，就要在迦南地你們中間得產業。」But if they do not arm themselves and go across with you, then they must accept their possession among you in the land of Canaan.”

³¹迦得子孫和流便子孫回答說：「耶和華怎樣吩咐僕人，僕人就怎樣行。The Gadites and Reubenites replied, “As the LORD has spoken to your servants, so we will do.

³²我們要帶兵器，在耶和華面前過去，進入迦南地，只是約旦河這邊、我們所得為業之地仍歸我們。」We will cross over into the land of Canaan armed before the LORD, that we may have our inheritance on this side of the Jordan.”

分給約旦河東的地

³³摩西將亞摩利王西宏的國和巴珊王噩的國，連那地和周圍的城邑，都給了迦得子孫和流便子孫，並約瑟的兒子瑪拿西半個支派。So Moses gave to the Gadites, to the Reubenites, and to the half-tribe of Manasseh son of Joseph the kingdom of Sihon king of the Amorites and the kingdom of Og king of Bashan—the land including its cities and the territory surrounding them.

³⁴迦得子孫建造底本、亞他錄、亞羅珥、And the Gadites built up Dibon, Ataroth, Aroer,

³⁵亞他錄‧朔反、雅謝、約比哈、Atroth-shophan, Jazer, Jogbehah,

³⁶伯‧寧拉、伯‧哈蘭，都是堅固城。他們又壘羊圈。Beth-nimrah, and Beth-haran as fortified cities, and they built folds for their flocks.

³⁷流便子孫建造希實本、以利亞利、基列亭、The Reubenites built up Heshbon, Elealeh, Kiriathaim,

³⁸尼波、巴力‧免、西比瑪（尼波、巴力‧免，名字是改了的），又給他們所建造的城另起別名。as well as Nebo and Baal-meon (whose names were changed), and Sibmah. And they renamed the cities they rebuilt.

瑪拿西的子孫佔領基列

³⁹瑪拿西的兒子瑪吉，他的子孫往基列去，佔了那地，趕出那裡的亞摩利人。The descendants of Machir son of Manasseh went to Gilead, captured it, and drove out the Amorites who were there.

⁴⁰摩西將基列賜給瑪拿西的兒子瑪吉，他子孫就住在那裡。So Moses gave Gilead to the clan of Machir son of Manasseh, and they settled there.

⁴¹瑪拿西的子孫睚珥去佔了基列的村莊，就稱這些村莊為哈倭特‧睚珥。Jair, a descendant of Manasseh, went and captured their villages and called them Havvoth-jair.

⁴²挪巴去佔了基納和基納的鄉村，就按自己的名稱基納為挪巴。And Nobah went and captured Kenath and its villages and called it Nobah, after his own name.

猶大帶人來到

⁴³說話之間，忽然那十二個門徒裡的猶大來了，並有許多人帶著刀棒，從祭司長和文士並長老那裡與他同來。While Jesus was still speaking, Judas, one of the Twelve, arrived, accompanied by a crowd armed with swords and clubs, sent from the chief priests, scribes, and elders.

⁴⁴賣耶穌的人曾給他們一個暗號，說：「我與誰親嘴，誰就是他。你們把他拿住，牢牢靠靠地帶去。」Now the betrayer had arranged a signal with them: “The One I kiss is the man; arrest Him and lead Him away securely.”

用親嘴出賣

⁴⁵猶大來了，隨即到耶穌跟前，說：「拉比」，便與他親嘴。Going directly to Jesus, he said, “Rabbi!” and kissed Him.

⁴⁶他們就下手拿住他。Then the men seized Jesus and arrested Him.

削掉僕人的耳朵

⁴⁷旁邊站著的人，有一個拔出刀來，將大祭司的僕人砍了一刀，削掉了他一個耳朵。And one of the bystanders drew his sword and struck the servant of the high priest, cutting off his ear.

耶穌的回應

⁴⁸耶穌對他們說：「你們帶著刀棒出來拿我，如同拿強盜嗎？Jesus asked the crowd, “Have you come out with swords and clubs to arrest Me as you would an outlaw?

⁴⁹我天天教訓人，同你們在殿裡，你們並沒有拿我。但這事成就，為要應驗經上的話。」Every day I was with you, teaching in the temple courts, and you did not arrest Me. But this has happened that the Scriptures would be fulfilled.”

門徒都逃走了

⁵⁰門徒都離開他，逃走了。Then everyone deserted Him and fled.

赤身逃走的少年人

⁵¹有一個少年人，赤身披著一塊麻布，跟隨耶穌，眾人就捉拿他。One young man who had been following Jesus was wearing a linen cloth around his body. They caught hold of him,

⁵²他卻丟了麻布，赤身逃走了。but he pulled free of the linen cloth and ran away naked.
