1（又名逾越节）近了。Now the Feast of Unleavened Bread, called the Passover, was approaching,
2祭司长和文士想法子怎么才能杀害耶稣，是因他们惧怕百姓。and the chief priests and scribes were looking for a way to put Jesus to death, for they feared the people.
3这时，撒但入了那称为的心；他本是十二门徒里的一个。Then Satan entered Judas Iscariot, who was one of the Twelve.
4他去和祭司长并商量，怎么可以把耶稣交给他们。And Judas went to discuss with the chief priests and temple officers how he might betray Jesus to them.
5他们欢喜，就给他银子。They were delighted and agreed to give him money.
6他应允了，就找机会，要趁的时候把耶稣交给他们。Judas consented, and began to look for an opportunity to betray Jesus to them in the absence of a crowd.
7除酵节，须宰的那一天到了。Then came the day of Unleavened Bread on which the Passover lamb was to be sacrificed.
8耶稣打发彼得、约翰，说：“你们去为我们预备逾越节的筵席，好叫我们吃。”Jesus sent Peter and John, saying, “Go and make preparations for us to eat the Passover.”
9他们问他说：“要我们在哪里预备？”“Where do You want us to prepare it?” they asked.
10耶稣说：“你们进了城，必有人拿着迎面而来，你们就跟着他，到他所进的房子里去，He answered, “When you enter the city, a man carrying a jug of water will meet you. Follow him to the house he enters,
11对那家的主人说：‘夫子说：客房在哪里？我与门徒好在那里吃逾越节的筵席。’and say to the owner of that house, ‘The Teacher asks: Where is the guest room, where I may eat the Passover with My disciples?’
12他必指给你们摆设整齐的一间，你们就在那里预备。”And he will show you a large upper room, already furnished. Make preparations there.”
13他们去了，所遇见的正如耶稣所说的；他们就预备了逾越节的筵席。So they went and found it just as Jesus had told them. And they prepared the Passover.
14时候到了，耶稣坐席，使徒也和他同坐。When the hour had come, Jesus reclined at the table with His apostles.
15耶稣对他们说：“我很愿意在以先和你们吃这逾越节的筵席。And He said to them, “I have eagerly desired to eat this Passover with you before My suffering.
16我告诉你们，我不再吃这筵席，直到成就在 神的国里。”For I tell you that I will not eat it again until it is fulfilled in the kingdom of God.”
17耶稣接过杯来，了，说：“你们拿这个，大家分着喝。After taking the cup, He gave thanks and said, “Take this and divide it among yourselves.
18我告诉你们，从今以后，我不再喝这葡萄汁，直等 神的国来到。”For I tell you that I will not drink of the fruit of the vine from now on until the kingdom of God comes.”
19又拿起饼来，祝谢了，就，递给他们，说：“这是我的身体，为你们舍的，你们也应当如此行，为的是记念我。”And He took the bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, “This is My body, given for you; do this in remembrance of Me.”
20饭后也照样拿起杯来，说：“这杯是用我血所立的，是为你们流出来的。In the same way, after supper He took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood, which is poured out for you.
21看哪，那卖我之人的手与我一同在桌子上。Look! The hand of My betrayer is with Mine on the table.
22人子固然要照所预定的，但卖人子的人有祸了！”Indeed, the Son of Man will go as it has been determined, but woe to that man who betrays Him.”
23他们就彼此对问，是哪一个要做这事。Then they began to question among themselves which of them was going to do this.
24门徒起了，他们中间哪一个可算为大。A dispute also arose among the disciples as to which of them should be considered the greatest.
25耶稣说：“外邦人有君王为主治理他们，那掌权管他们的称为。So Jesus declared, “The kings of the Gentiles lord it over them, and those in authority over them call themselves benefactors.
26但你们不可这样；你们里头为大的，倒要像，为首领的，倒要像服事人的。But you shall not be like them. Instead, the greatest among you should be like the youngest, and the one who leads like the one who serves.
27是谁为大？是坐席的呢？是服事人的呢？不是坐席的大吗？然而，我在你们中间如同服事人的。For who is greater, the one who reclines at the table or the one who serves? Is it not the one who reclines? But I am among you as one who serves.
28我在之中，常和我同在的就是你们。You are the ones who have stood by Me in My trials.
29我将国赐给你们，正如我父赐给我一样，And I bestow on you a kingdom, just as My Father has bestowed one on Me,
30叫你们在我国里，坐在我的席上吃喝，并且坐在宝座上，审判以色列。”so that you may eat and drink at My table in My kingdom and sit on thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
31主又说：“西门！西门！想要得着你们，好你们像筛麦子一样；Simon, Simon, Satan has asked to sift all of you like wheat.
32但我已经为你祈求，叫你不至于失了信心。你回头以后，要坚固你的弟兄。”But I have prayed for you, Simon, that your faith will not fail. And when you have turned back, strengthen your brothers.”
33彼得说：“主啊，我就是同你下监，同你受死，也是甘心！”“Lord,” said Peter, “I am ready to go with You even to prison and to death.”
34耶稣说：“彼得，我告诉你，今日鸡还没有叫，你要三次说不认得我。”But Jesus replied, “I tell you, Peter, the rooster will not crow today until you have denied three times that you know Me.”
35耶稣又对他们说：“我差你们出去的时候，没有，没有口袋，没有鞋，你们缺少什么没有？”他们说：“没有。”Then Jesus asked them, “When I sent you out without purse or bag or sandals, did you lack anything?” “Nothing,” they answered.
36耶稣说：“但如今有钱囊的可以带着，有口袋的也可以带着，没有刀的要卖衣服。“Now, however,” He told them, “the one with a purse should take it, and likewise a bag; and the one without a sword should sell his cloak and buy one.
37我告诉你们，经上写着说：‘他。’这话必应验在我身上；因为那关系我的事必然成就。”For I tell you that this Scripture must be fulfilled in Me: ‘And He was numbered with the transgressors.’ For what is written about Me is reaching its fulfillment.”
38他们说：“主啊，请看！这里有两把刀。”耶稣说：“够了。”So they said, “Look, Lord, here are two swords.” “That is enough,” He answered.
39耶稣出来，照常往橄榄山去，门徒也跟随他。Jesus went out as usual to the Mount of Olives, and the disciples followed Him.
40到了那地方，就对他们说：“你们要祷告，免得入了迷惑。”When He came to the place, He told them, “Pray that you will not enter into temptation.”
41于是离开他们约有扔一块石头那么远，跪下祷告，And He withdrew about a stone’s throw beyond them, where He knelt down and prayed,
42说：“父啊！你若愿意，就把撤去；然而，不要成就我的意思，只要成就你的意思。”“Father, if You are willing, take this cup from Me. Yet not My will, but Yours be done.”
43有一位天使从天上显现，加添他的力量。Then an angel from heaven appeared to Him and strengthened Him.
44耶稣极其伤痛，祷告更加，汗珠如滴在地上。And in His anguish, He prayed more earnestly, and His sweat became like drops of blood falling to the ground.
45祷告完了，就起来，到门徒那里，见他们因为忧愁都睡着了，When Jesus rose from prayer and returned to the disciples, He found them asleep, exhausted from sorrow.
46就对他们说：“你们为什么睡觉呢？起来祷告，免得入了迷惑！”“Why are you sleeping?” He asked. “Get up and pray so that you will not enter into temptation.”
47说话之间，来了许多人。那十二个门徒里名叫犹大的，走在前头，就近耶稣，要与他。While He was still speaking, a crowd arrived, led by the man called Judas, one of the Twelve. He approached Jesus to kiss Him.
48耶稣对他说：“犹大！你用亲嘴的卖人子吗？”But Jesus asked him, “Judas, are you betraying the Son of Man with a kiss?”
49左右的人见光景不好，就说：“主啊！我们拿刀砍可以不可以？”Those around Jesus saw what was about to happen and said, “Lord, should we strike with our swords?”
50内中有一个人把的仆人砍了一刀，削掉了他的右耳。And one of them struck the servant of the high priest, cutting off his right ear.
51耶稣说：“到了这个地步，！”就摸那人的耳朵，把他治好了。But Jesus answered, “No more of this!” And He touched the man’s ear and healed him.
52耶稣对那些来拿他的祭司长和守殿官并长老说：“你们带着出来拿我，如同拿强盗吗？Then Jesus said to the chief priests, temple officers, and elders who had come for Him, “Have you come out with swords and clubs as you would against an outlaw?
53我天天同你们在殿里，你们不下手拿我。现在却是你们的时候，了。”Every day I was with you in the temple courts, and you did not lay a hand on Me. But this hour belongs to you and to the power of darkness.”
54他们拿住耶稣，把他带到大祭司的宅里。彼得远远地跟着。Then they seized Jesus, led Him away, and took Him into the house of the high priest. And Peter followed at a distance.
55他们在里生了火，一同坐着；彼得也坐在他们中间。When those present had kindled a fire in the middle of the courtyard and sat down together, Peter sat down among them.
56有一个使女看见彼得坐在火光里，就看他，说：“这个人素来也是同那人一伙的。”A servant girl saw him seated in the firelight and looked intently at him. “This man also was with Him,” she said.
57彼得却不承认，说：“女子，我不认得他。”But Peter denied it. “Woman, I do not know Him,” he said.
58过了不多的时候，又有一个人看见他，说：“你也是他们一党的。”彼得说：“你这个人！我不是。”A short time later, someone else saw him and said, “You also are one of them.” But Peter said, “Man, I am not.”
59约过了一小时，又有一个人极力地说：“他实在是同那人一伙的，因为他也是。”About an hour later, another man insisted, “Certainly this man was with Him, for he too is a Galilean.”
60彼得说：“你这个人！我不晓得你说的是什么！”正说话之间，鸡就叫了。“Man, I do not know what you are talking about,” Peter replied. And immediately, while he was still speaking, the rooster crowed.
61主转过身来看彼得，彼得便想起主对他所说的话：“今日鸡叫以先，你要三次不认我。”And the Lord turned and looked at Peter. Then Peter remembered the word that the Lord had spoken to him: “Before the rooster crows today, you will deny Me three times.”
62他就出去痛哭。And he went outside and wept bitterly.
63看守耶稣的人戏弄他，打他，The men who were holding Jesus began to mock Him and beat Him.
64又，问他说：“你是先知，告诉我们打你的是谁？”They blindfolded Him and kept demanding, “Prophesy! Who hit You?”
65他们还用许多别的话他。And they said many other blasphemous things against Him.
66天一亮，民间的众长老连祭司长带文士都聚会，把耶稣带到他们的里，At daybreak the council of the elders of the people, both the chief priests and scribes, met together. They led Jesus into their Sanhedrin and said,
67说：“你若是基督，就告诉我们。”耶稣说：“我若告诉你们，你们也不信；“If You are the Christ, tell us.” Jesus answered, “If I tell you, you will not believe.
68我若问你们，你们也不回答。And if I ask you a question, you will not answer.
69从今以后，人子要坐在 。”But from now on the Son of Man will be seated at the right hand of the power of God.”
70他们都说：“这样，你是 神的儿子吗？”耶稣说：“。”So they all asked, “Are You then the Son of God?” He replied, “You say that I am.”
71他们说：“何必再用见证呢？他亲口所说的，我们都亲自听见了。”“Why do we need any more testimony?” they declared. “We have heard it for ourselves from His own lips.”
