不顺从的咒诅

¹⁵“你若不听从耶和华—你　神的话，不谨守遵行他的一切诫命律例，就是我今日所吩咐你的，这以下的咒诅都必追随你，临到你身上：If, however, you do not obey the LORD your God by carefully following all His commandments and statutes I am giving you today, all these curses will come upon you and overtake you:

¹⁶你在城里必受咒诅，在田间也必受咒诅。You will be cursed in the city and cursed in the country.

¹⁷你的筐子和你的抟面盆都必受咒诅。Your basket and kneading bowl will be cursed.

¹⁸你身所生的，地所产的，以及牛犊、羊羔，都必受咒诅。The fruit of your womb will be cursed, as well as the produce of your land, the calves of your herds, and the lambs of your flocks.

¹⁹你出也受咒诅，入也受咒诅。You will be cursed when you come in and cursed when you go out.

瘟疫、干旱和灾病

²⁰耶和华因你行恶离弃他，必在你手里所办的一切事上，使咒诅、扰乱、责罚临到你，直到你被毁灭，速速地灭亡。The LORD will send curses upon you, confusion and reproof in all to which you put your hand, until you are destroyed and quickly perish because of the wickedness you have committed in forsaking Him.

²¹耶和华必使瘟疫贴在你身上，直到他将你从所进去得为业的地上灭绝。The LORD will make the plague cling to you until He has exterminated you from the land that you are entering to possess.

²²耶和华要用痨病、热病、火症、疟疾、刀剑、旱风（或译：干旱）、霉烂攻击你。这都要追赶你，直到你灭亡。The LORD will strike you with wasting disease, with fever and inflammation, with scorching heat and drought, and with blight and mildew; these will pursue you until you perish.

²³你头上的天要变为铜，脚下的地要变为铁。The sky over your head will be bronze, and the earth beneath you iron.

²⁴耶和华要使那降在你地上的雨变为尘沙，从天临在你身上，直到你灭亡。The LORD will turn the rain of your land into dust and powder; it will descend on you from the sky until you are destroyed.

败在仇敌面前

²⁵“耶和华必使你败在仇敌面前，你从一条路去攻击他们，必从七条路逃跑。你必在天下万国中抛来抛去。The LORD will cause you to be defeated before your enemies. You will march out against them in one direction but flee from them in seven. You will be an object of horror to all the kingdoms of the earth.

²⁶你的尸首必给空中的飞鸟和地上的走兽作食物，并无人哄赶。Your corpses will be food for all the birds of the air and beasts of the earth, with no one to scare them away.

²⁷耶和华必用埃及人的疮并痔疮、牛皮癣与疥攻击你，使你不能医治。The LORD will afflict you with the boils of Egypt, with tumors and scabs and itch from which you cannot be cured.

²⁸耶和华必用癫狂、眼瞎、心惊攻击你。The LORD will afflict you with madness, blindness, and confusion of mind,

²⁹你必在午间摸索，好像瞎子在暗中摸索一样。你所行的必不亨通，时常遭遇欺压、抢夺，无人搭救。and at noon you will grope about like a blind man in the darkness. You will not prosper in your ways. Day after day you will be oppressed and plundered, with no one to save you.

³⁰你聘定了妻，别人必与她同房；你建造房屋，不得住在其内；你栽种葡萄园，也不得用其中的果子。You will be pledged in marriage to a woman, but another man will violate her. You will build a house but will not live in it. You will plant a vineyard but will not enjoy its fruit.

³¹你的牛在你眼前宰了，你必不得吃它的肉；你的驴在你眼前被抢夺，不得归还；你的羊归了仇敌，无人搭救。Your ox will be slaughtered before your eyes, but you will not eat any of it. Your donkey will be taken away and not returned to you. Your flock will be given to your enemies, and no one will save you.

³²你的儿女必归与别国的民；你的眼目终日切望，甚至失明，你手中无力拯救。Your sons and daughters will be given to another nation, while your eyes grow weary looking for them day after day, with no power in your hand.

³³你的土产和你劳碌得来的，必被你所不认识的国民吃尽。你时常被欺负，受压制，A people you do not know will eat the produce of your land and of all your toil. All your days you will be oppressed and crushed.

³⁴甚至你因眼中所看见的，必致疯狂。You will be driven mad by the sights you see.

³⁵耶和华必攻击你，使你膝上腿上，从脚掌到头顶，长毒疮无法医治。The LORD will afflict you with painful, incurable boils on your knees and thighs, from the soles of your feet to the top of your head.

被掳到外邦

³⁶“耶和华必将你和你所立的王领到你和你列祖素不认识的国去；在那里你必事奉木头石头的神。The LORD will bring you and the king you appoint to a nation neither you nor your fathers have known, and there you will worship other gods—gods of wood and stone.

³⁷你在耶和华领你到的各国中，要令人惊骇、笑谈、讥诮。You will become an object of horror, scorn, and ridicule among all the nations to which the LORD will drive you.

³⁸你带到田间的种子虽多，收进来的却少，因为被蝗虫吃了。You will sow much seed in the field but harvest little, because the locusts will consume it.

³⁹你栽种、修理葡萄园，却不得收葡萄，也不得喝葡萄酒，因为被虫子吃了。You will plant and cultivate vineyards, but will neither drink the wine nor gather the grapes, because worms will eat them.

⁴⁰你全境有橄榄树，却不得其油抹身，因为树上的橄榄不熟自落了。You will have olive trees throughout your territory but will never anoint yourself with oil, because the olives will drop off.

⁴¹你生儿养女，却不算是你的，因为必被掳去。You will father sons and daughters, but they will not remain yours, because they will go into captivity.

⁴²你所有的树木和你地里的出产必被蝗虫所吃。Swarms of locusts will consume all your trees and the produce of your land.

⁴³在你中间寄居的，必渐渐上升，比你高而又高；你必渐渐下降，低而又低。The foreigner living among you will rise higher and higher above you, while you sink down lower and lower.

⁴⁴他必借给你，你却不能借给他；他必作首，你必作尾。He will lend to you, but you will not lend to him. He will be the head, and you will be the tail.

⁴⁵这一切咒诅必追随你，赶上你，直到你灭亡；因为你不听从耶和华—你　神的话，不遵守他所吩咐的诫命律例。All these curses will come upon you. They will pursue you and overtake you until you are destroyed, since you did not obey the LORD your God and keep the commandments and statutes He gave you.

⁴⁶这些咒诅必在你和你后裔的身上成为异迹奇事，直到永远！These curses will be a sign and a wonder upon you and your descendants forever.

不欢心事奉神，就要事奉仇敌

⁴⁷“因为你富有的时候，不欢心乐意地事奉耶和华—你的　神，Because you did not serve the LORD your God with joy and gladness of heart in all your abundance,

⁴⁸所以你必在饥饿、干渴、赤露、缺乏之中事奉耶和华所打发来攻击你的仇敌。他必把铁轭加在你的颈项上，直到将你灭绝。you will serve your enemies the LORD will send against you in famine, thirst, nakedness, and destitution. He will place an iron yoke on your neck until He has destroyed you.

远方的国如鹰飞来

⁴⁹“耶和华要从远方、地极带一国的民，如鹰飞来攻击你。这民的言语，你不懂得。The LORD will bring a nation from afar, from the ends of the earth, to swoop down upon you like an eagle—a nation whose language you will not understand,

⁵⁰这民的面貌凶恶，不顾恤年老的，也不恩待年少的。a ruthless nation with no respect for the old and no pity for the young.

⁵¹他们必吃你牲畜所下的和你地土所产的，直到你灭亡。你的五谷、新酒，和油，以及牛犊、羊羔，都不给你留下，直到将你灭绝。They will eat the offspring of your livestock and the produce of your land until you are destroyed. They will leave you no grain or new wine or oil, no calves of your herds or lambs of your flocks, until they have caused you to perish.

⁵²他们必将你困在你各城里，直到你所倚靠、高大坚固的城墙都被攻塌。他们必将你困在耶和华—你　神所赐你遍地的各城里。They will besiege all the cities throughout your land, until the high and fortified walls in which you trust have fallen. They will besiege all your cities throughout the land that the LORD your God has given you.

围城中的惨况

⁵³你在仇敌围困窘迫之中，必吃你本身所生的，就是耶和华—你　神所赐给你的儿女之肉。Then you will eat the fruit of your womb, the flesh of the sons and daughters whom the LORD your God has given you, in the siege and distress that your enemy will inflict on you.

⁵⁴你们中间，柔弱娇嫩的人必恶眼看他弟兄和他怀中的妻，并他余剩的儿女；The most gentle and refined man among you will begrudge his brother, the wife he embraces, and the rest of his children who have survived,

⁵⁵甚至在你受仇敌围困窘迫的城中，他要吃儿女的肉，不肯分一点给他的亲人，因为他一无所剩。refusing to share with any of them the flesh of his children he will eat because he has nothing left in the siege and distress that your enemy will inflict on you within all your gates.

⁵⁶你们中间，柔弱娇嫩的妇人，是因娇嫩柔弱不肯把脚踏地的，必恶眼看她怀中的丈夫和她的儿女。The most gentle and refined woman among you, so gentle and refined she would not venture to set the sole of her foot on the ground, will begrudge the husband she embraces and her son and daughter

⁵⁷她两腿中间出来的婴孩与她所要生的儿女，她因缺乏一切就要在你受仇敌围困窘迫的城中将他们暗暗地吃了。the afterbirth that comes from between her legs and the children she bears, because she will secretly eat them for lack of anything else in the siege and distress that your enemy will inflict on you within your gates.

不谨守律法的奇灾

^58–59“这书上所写律法的一切话是叫你敬畏耶和华—你　神可荣可畏的名。你若不谨守遵行，耶和华就必将奇灾，就是至大至长的灾，至重至久的病，加在你和你后裔的身上，If you are not careful to observe all the words of this law which are written in this book, that you may fear this glorious and awesome name—the LORD your God— He will bring upon you and your descendants extraordinary disasters, severe and lasting plagues, and terrible and chronic sicknesses.

⁶⁰也必使你所惧怕、埃及人的病都临到你，贴在你身上，He will afflict you again with all the diseases you dreaded in Egypt, and they will cling to you.

⁶¹又必将没有写在这律法书上的各样疾病、灾殃降在你身上，直到你灭亡。The LORD will also bring upon you every sickness and plague not recorded in this Book of the Law, until you are destroyed.

分散在万民中

⁶²你们先前虽然像天上的星那样多，却因不听从耶和华—你　神的话，所剩的人数就稀少了。You who were as numerous as the stars in the sky will be left few in number, because you would not obey the voice of the LORD your God.

⁶³先前耶和华怎样喜悦善待你们，使你们众多，也要照样喜悦毁灭你们，使你们灭亡；并且你们从所要进去得的地上必被拔除。Just as it pleased the LORD to make you prosper and multiply, so also it will please Him to annihilate you and destroy you. And you will be uprooted from the land you are entering to possess.

⁶⁴耶和华必使你们分散在万民中，从地这边到地那边，你必在那里事奉你和你列祖素不认识、木头石头的神。Then the LORD will scatter you among all the nations, from one end of the earth to the other, and there you will worship other gods, gods of wood and stone, which neither you nor your fathers have known.

⁶⁵在那些国中，你必不得安逸，也不得落脚之地；耶和华却使你在那里心中跳动，眼目失明，精神消耗。Among those nations you will find no repose, not even a resting place for the sole of your foot. There the LORD will give you a trembling heart, failing eyes, and a despairing soul.

⁶⁶你的性命必悬悬无定；你昼夜恐惧，自料性命难保。So your life will hang in doubt before you, and you will be afraid night and day, never certain of survival.

⁶⁷你因心里所恐惧的，眼中所看见的，早晨必说，巴不得到晚上才好；晚上必说，巴不得到早晨才好。In the morning you will say, ‘If only it were evening!’ and in the evening you will say, ‘If only it were morning!’—because of the dread in your hearts of the terrifying sights you will see.

⁶⁸耶和华必使你坐船回埃及去，走我曾告诉你不得再见的路；在那里你必卖己身与仇敌作奴婢，却无人买。”The LORD will return you to Egypt in ships by a route that I said you should never see again. There you will sell yourselves to your enemies as male and female slaves, but no one will buy you.”

在摩押地立约

¹这是耶和华在摩押地吩咐摩西与以色列人立约的话，是在他和他们于何烈山所立的约之外。These are the words of the covenant that the LORD commanded Moses to make with the Israelites in the land of Moab, in addition to the covenant He had made with them at Horeb.

回顾神的作为

²摩西召了以色列众人来，对他们说：“耶和华在埃及地，在你们眼前向法老和他众臣仆，并他全地所行的一切事，你们都看见了，Moses summoned all Israel and proclaimed to them, “You have seen with your own eyes everything the LORD did in Egypt to Pharaoh, to all his officials, and to all his land.

³就是你亲眼看见的大试验和神迹，并那些大奇事。You saw with your own eyes the great trials, and those miraculous signs and wonders.

⁴但耶和华到今日没有使你们心能明白，眼能看见，耳能听见。Yet to this day the LORD has not given you a mind to understand, eyes to see, or ears to hear.

⁵我领你们在旷野四十年，你们身上的衣服并没有穿破，脚上的鞋也没有穿坏。For forty years I led you in the wilderness, yet your clothes and sandals did not wear out.

⁶你们没有吃饼，也没有喝清酒浓酒。这要使你们知道，耶和华是你们的　神。You ate no bread and drank no wine or strong drink, so that you might know that I am the LORD your God.

⁷你们来到这地方，希实本王西宏、巴珊王噩都出来与我们交战，我们就击杀了他们，When you reached this place, Sihon king of Heshbon and Og king of Bashan came out against us in battle, but we defeated them.

⁸取了他们的地给流便支派、迦得支派，和玛拿西半支派为业。We took their land and gave it as an inheritance to the Reubenites, the Gadites, and the half-tribe of Manasseh.

⁹所以你们要谨守遵行这约的话，好叫你们在一切所行的事上亨通。So keep and follow the words of this covenant, that you may prosper in all you do.

全体百姓站在神面前立约

^10–11“今日，你们的首领、族长（原文是支派）、长老、官长、以色列的男丁，你们的妻子儿女，和营中寄居的，以及为你们劈柴挑水的人，都站在耶和华—你们的　神面前，All of you are standing today before the LORD your God—you leaders of tribes, elders, officials, and all the men of Israel, your children and wives, and the foreigners in your camps who cut your wood and draw your water—

¹²为要你顺从耶和华—你　神今日与你所立的约，向你所起的誓。so that you may enter into the covenant of the LORD your God, which He is making with you today, and into His oath,

¹³这样，他要照他向你所应许的话，又向你列祖亚伯拉罕、以撒、雅各所起的誓，今日立你作他的子民，他作你的　神。and so that He may establish you today as His people, and He may be your God as He promised you and as He swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

¹⁴我不但与你们立这约，起这誓，I am making this covenant and this oath not only with you,

¹⁵凡与我们一同站在耶和华—我们　神面前的，并今日不在我们这里的人，我也与他们立这约，起这誓。but also with those who are standing here with us today in the presence of the LORD our God, as well as with those who are not here today.

你们看见过列国的偶像

¹⁶“我们曾住过埃及地，也从列国经过；这是你们知道的。For you yourselves know how we lived in the land of Egypt and how we passed through the nations on the way here.

¹⁷你们也看见他们中间可憎之物，并他们木、石、金、银的偶像。You saw the abominations and idols among them made of wood and stone, of silver and gold.

在迦百农教导人

³¹耶稣下到迦百农，就是加利利的一座城，在安息日教训众人。Then He went down to Capernaum, a town in Galilee, and on the Sabbath He began to teach the people.

³²他们很希奇他的教训，因为他的话里有权柄。They were astonished at His teaching, because His message had authority.

在会堂赶出污鬼

³³在会堂里有一个人，被污鬼的精气附着，大声喊叫说：In the synagogue there was a man possessed by the spirit of an unclean demon. He cried out in a loud voice,

³⁴“唉！拿撒勒的耶稣，我们与你有什么相干？你来灭我们吗？我知道你是谁，乃是　神的圣者。”“Ha! What do You want with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have You come to destroy us? I know who You are—the Holy One of God!”

³⁵耶稣责备他说：“不要作声，从这人身上出来吧！”鬼把那人摔倒在众人中间，就出来了，却也没有害他。But Jesus rebuked the demon. “Be silent!” He said. “Come out of him!” At this, the demon threw the man down before them all and came out without harming him.

³⁶众人都惊讶，彼此对问说：“这是什么道理呢？因为他用权柄能力吩咐污鬼，污鬼就出来。”All the people were overcome with amazement and asked one another, “What is this message? With authority and power He commands the unclean spirits, and they come out!”

³⁷于是耶稣的名声传遍了周围地方。And the news about Jesus spread throughout the surrounding region.

医好西门的岳母

³⁸耶稣出了会堂，进了西门的家。西门的岳母害热病甚重，有人为她求耶稣。After Jesus had left the synagogue, He went to the home of Simon, whose mother-in-law was suffering from a high fever. So they appealed to Jesus on her behalf,

³⁹耶稣站在她旁边，斥责那热病，热就退了。她立刻起来服事他们。and He stood over her and rebuked the fever, and it left her. And she got up at once and began to serve them.

日落时医治许多人

⁴⁰日落的时候，凡有病人的，不论害什么病，都带到耶稣那里。耶稣按手在他们各人身上，医好他们。At sunset, all who were ill with various diseases were brought to Jesus, and laying His hands on each one, He healed them.

⁴¹又有鬼从好些人身上出来，喊着说：“你是　神的儿子。”耶稣斥责他们，不许他们说话。因为他们知道他是基督。Demons also came out of many people, shouting, “You are the Son of God!” But He rebuked the demons and would not allow them to speak, because they knew He was the Christ.

往别城传福音

⁴²天亮的时候，耶稣出来，走到旷野地方。众人去找他，到了他那里，要留住他，不要他离开他们。At daybreak, Jesus went out to a solitary place, and the crowds were looking for Him. They came to Him and tried to keep Him from leaving.

⁴³但耶稣对他们说：“我也必须在别城传　神国的福音，因我奉差原是为此。”But Jesus told them, “I must preach the good news of the kingdom of God to the other towns as well, because that is why I was sent.”

⁴⁴于是耶稣在加利利的各会堂传道。And He continued to preach in the synagogues of Judea.
