责打不可过数

¹“人若有争讼，来听审判，审判官就要定义人有理，定恶人有罪。If there is a dispute between men, they are to go to court to be judged, so that the innocent may be acquitted and the guilty condemned.

²恶人若该受责打，审判官就要叫他当面伏在地上，按着他的罪照数责打。If the guilty man deserves to be beaten, the judge shall have him lie down and be flogged in his presence with the number of lashes his crime warrants.

³只可打他四十下，不可过数；若过数，便是轻贱你的弟兄了。He may receive no more than forty lashes, lest your brother be beaten any more than that and be degraded in your sight.

不可笼住牛的嘴

⁴“牛在场上踹谷的时候，不可笼住它的嘴。”Do not muzzle an ox while it is treading out the grain.

为死去的兄弟立后

⁵“弟兄同居，若死了一个，没有儿子，死人的妻不可出嫁外人，她丈夫的兄弟当尽弟兄的本分，娶她为妻，与她同房。When brothers dwell together and one of them dies without a son, the widow must not marry outside the family. Her husband’s brother is to take her as his wife and fulfill the duty of a brother-in-law for her.

⁷那人若不愿意娶他哥哥的妻，他哥哥的妻就要到城门长老那里，说：‘我丈夫的兄弟不肯在以色列中兴起他哥哥的名字，不给我尽弟兄的本分。’But if the man does not want to marry his brother’s widow, she is to go to the elders at the city gate and say, “My husband’s brother refuses to preserve his brother’s name in Israel. He is not willing to perform the duty of a brother-in-law for me.”

⁸本城的长老就要召那人来问他，他若执意说：‘我不愿意娶她’，Then the elders of his city shall summon him and speak with him. If he persists and says, “I do not want to marry her,”

⁹他哥哥的妻就要当着长老到那人的跟前，脱了他的鞋，吐唾沫在他脸上，说：‘凡不为哥哥建立家室的都要这样待他。’his brother’s widow shall go up to him in the presence of the elders, remove his sandal, spit in his face, and declare, “This is what is done to the man who will not maintain his brother’s line.”

¹⁰在以色列中，他的名必称为脱鞋之家。”And his family name in Israel will be called “The House of the Unsandaled.”

¹¹“若有二人争斗，这人的妻近前来，要救她丈夫脱离那打她丈夫之人的手，抓住那人的下体，If two men are fighting, and the wife of one comes to rescue her husband from the one striking him, and she reaches out her hand and grabs his genitals,

¹²就要砍断妇人的手，眼不可顾惜她。you are to cut off her hand. You must show her no pity.

公平的法码和升斗

¹³“你囊中不可有一大一小两样的法码。You shall not have two differing weights in your bag, one heavy and one light.

¹⁴你家里不可有一大一小两样的升斗。You shall not have two differing measures in your house, one large and one small.

¹⁵当用对准公平的法码，公平的升斗。这样，在耶和华—你　神所赐你的地上，你的日子就可以长久。You must maintain accurate and honest weights and measures, so that you may live long in the land that the LORD your God is giving you.

¹⁶因为行非义之事的人都是耶和华—你　神所憎恶的。”For everyone who behaves dishonestly in regard to these things is detestable to the LORD your God.

不可忘记亚玛力人

¹⁷“你要记念你们出埃及的时候，亚玛力人在路上怎样待你。Remember what the Amalekites did to you along your way from Egypt,

¹⁸他们在路上遇见你，趁你疲乏困倦击杀你尽后边软弱的人，并不敬畏　神。how they met you on your journey when you were tired and weary, and they attacked all your stragglers; they had no fear of God.

¹⁹所以耶和华—你　神使你不被四围一切的仇敌扰乱，在耶和华—你　神赐你为业的地上得享平安。那时，你要将亚玛力的名号从天下涂抹了，不可忘记。”When the LORD your God gives you rest from the enemies around you in the land that He is giving you to possess as an inheritance, you are to blot out the memory of Amalek from under heaven. Do not forget!

献上初熟的土产

¹“你进去得了耶和华—你　神所赐你为业之地居住，When you enter the land that the LORD your God is giving you as an inheritance, and you take possession of it and settle in it,

²就要从耶和华—你　神赐你的地上将所收的各种初熟的土产取些来，盛在筐子里，往耶和华—你　神所选择要立为他名的居所去，you are to take some of the firstfruits of all your produce from the soil of the land that the LORD your God is giving you and put them in a basket. Then go to the place the LORD your God will choose as a dwelling for His Name,

³见当时作祭司的，对他说：‘我今日向耶和华—你　神明认，我已来到耶和华向我们列祖起誓应许赐给我们的地。’to the priest who is serving at that time, and say to him, “I declare today to the LORD your God that I have entered the land that the LORD swore to our fathers to give us.”

⁴祭司就从你手里取过筐子来，放在耶和华—你　神的坛前。Then the priest shall take the basket from your hands and place it before the altar of the LORD your God,

⁵你要在耶和华—你　神面前说：‘我祖原是一个将亡的亚兰人，下到埃及寄居。他人口稀少，在那里却成了又大又强、人数很多的国民。and you are to declare before the LORD your God, “My father was a wandering Aramean, and he went down to Egypt few in number and lived there and became a great nation, mighty and numerous.

⁶埃及人恶待我们，苦害我们，将苦工加在我们身上。But the Egyptians mistreated us and afflicted us, putting us to hard labor.

⁷于是我们哀求耶和华—我们列祖的　神，耶和华听见我们的声音，看见我们所受的困苦、劳碌、欺压，So we called out to the LORD, the God of our fathers; and the LORD heard our voice and saw our affliction, toil, and oppression.

⁸他就用大能的手和伸出来的膀臂，并大可畏的事与神迹奇事，领我们出了埃及，Then the LORD brought us out of Egypt with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm, with great terror, signs, and wonders.

⁹将我们领进这地方，把这流奶与蜜之地赐给我们。And He brought us to this place and gave us this land, a land flowing with milk and honey.

¹⁰耶和华啊，现在我把你所赐给我地上初熟的土产奉了来。’随后你要把筐子放在耶和华—你　神面前，向耶和华—你的　神下拜。And now, behold, I have brought the firstfruits of the land that You, O LORD, have given me.” Then you are to place the basket before the LORD your God and bow down before Him.

¹¹你和利未人，并在你们中间寄居的，要因耶和华—你　神所赐你和你家的一切福分欢乐。So you shall rejoice—you, the Levite, and the foreigner dwelling among you—in all the good things the LORD your God has given to you and your household.

第三年的十分之一

¹²“每逢三年，就是十分取一之年，你取完了一切土产的十分之一，要分给利未人和寄居的，与孤儿寡妇，使他们在你城中可以吃得饱足。When you have finished laying aside a tenth of all your produce in the third year, the year of the tithe, you are to give it to the Levite, the foreigner, the fatherless, and the widow, that they may eat and be filled within your gates.

¹³你又要在耶和华—你　神面前说：‘我已将圣物从我家里拿出来，给了利未人和寄居的，与孤儿寡妇，是照你所吩咐我的一切命令。你的命令我都没有违背，也没有忘记。Then you shall declare in the presence of the LORD your God, “I have removed from my house the sacred portion and have given it to the Levite, the foreigner, the fatherless, and the widow, according to all the commandments You have given me. I have not transgressed or forgotten Your commandments.

¹⁴我守丧的时候，没有吃这圣物；不洁净的时候，也没有拿出来，又没有为死人送去。我听从了耶和华—我　神的话，都照你所吩咐的行了。I have not eaten any of the sacred portion while in mourning, or removed any of it while unclean, or offered any of it for the dead. I have obeyed the LORD my God; I have done everything You commanded me.

¹⁵求你从天上、你的圣所垂看，赐福给你的百姓以色列与你所赐给我们的地，就是你向我们列祖起誓赐我们流奶与蜜之地。’”Look down from Your holy habitation, from heaven, and bless Your people Israel and the land You have given us as You swore to our fathers—a land flowing with milk and honey.”

你认神为神，神认你为子民

¹⁶“耶和华—你的　神今日吩咐你行这些律例典章，所以你要尽心尽性谨守遵行。The LORD your God commands you this day to follow these statutes and ordinances. You must be careful to follow them with all your heart and with all your soul.

¹⁷你今日认耶和华为你的　神，应许遵行他的道，谨守他的律例、诫命、典章，听从他的话。Today you have proclaimed that the LORD is your God and that you will walk in His ways, keep His statutes and commandments and ordinances, and listen to His voice.

¹⁸耶和华今日照他所应许你的，也认你为他的子民，使你谨守他的一切诫命，And today the LORD has proclaimed that you are His people and treasured possession as He promised, that you are to keep all His commandments,

¹⁹又使你得称赞、美名、尊荣，超乎他所造的万民之上，并照他所应许的使你归耶和华—你　神为圣洁的民。”that He will set you high in praise and name and honor above all the nations He has made, and that you will be a holy people to the LORD your God, as He has promised.

在以巴路山立石写律法

¹摩西和以色列的众长老吩咐百姓说：“你们要遵守我今日所吩咐的一切诫命。Then Moses and the elders of Israel commanded the people: “Keep all the commandments I am giving you today.

²你们过约旦河，到了耶和华—你　神所赐给你的地，当天要立起几块大石头，墁上石灰，And on the day you cross the Jordan into the land that the LORD your God is giving you, set up large stones and coat them with plaster.

³把这律法的一切话写在石头上。你过了河，可以进入耶和华—你　神所赐你流奶与蜜之地，正如耶和华—你列祖之　神所应许你的。Write on them all the words of this law when you have crossed over to enter the land that the LORD your God is giving you, a land flowing with milk and honey, just as the LORD, the God of your fathers, has promised you.

⁴你们过了约旦河，就要在以巴路山上照我今日所吩咐的，将这些石头立起来，墁上石灰。And when you have crossed the Jordan, you are to set up these stones on Mount Ebal, as I am commanding you today, and you are to coat them with plaster.

⁵在那里要为耶和华—你的　神筑一座石坛；在石头上不可动铁器。Moreover, you are to build there an altar to the LORD your God, an altar of stones. You must not use any iron tool on them.

⁶要用没有凿过的石头筑耶和华—你　神的坛，在坛上要将燔祭献给耶和华—你的　神。You shall build the altar of the LORD your God with uncut stones and offer upon it burnt offerings to the LORD your God.

⁷又要献平安祭，且在那里吃，在耶和华—你的　神面前欢乐。There you are to sacrifice your peace offerings, eating them and rejoicing in the presence of the LORD your God.

⁸你要将这律法的一切话明明地写在石头上。”And you shall write distinctly upon these stones all the words of this law.”

你今日成为神的百姓

⁹摩西和祭司利未人晓谕以色列众人说：“以色列啊，要默默静听。你今日成为耶和华—你　神的百姓了。Then Moses and the Levitical priests spoke to all Israel: “Be silent, O Israel, and listen! This day you have become the people of the LORD your God.

¹⁰所以要听从耶和华—你　神的话，遵行他的诫命律例，就是我今日所吩咐你的。”You shall therefore obey the voice of the LORD your God and follow His commandments and statutes I am giving you today.”

祝福和咒诅的支派

¹¹当日，摩西嘱咐百姓说：On that day Moses commanded the people:

¹²“你们过了约旦河，西缅、利未、犹大、以萨迦、约瑟、便雅悯六个支派的人都要站在基利心山上为百姓祝福。“When you have crossed the Jordan, these tribes shall stand on Mount Gerizim to bless the people: Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, Joseph, and Benjamin.

¹³流便、迦得、亚设、西布伦、但、拿弗他利六个支派的人都要站在以巴路山上宣布咒诅。And these tribes shall stand on Mount Ebal to deliver the curse: Reuben, Gad, Asher, Zebulun, Dan, and Naphtali.

¹⁴利未人要向以色列众人高声说：Then the Levites shall proclaim in a loud voice to every Israelite:

十二句咒诅

¹⁵“‘有人制造耶和华所憎恶的偶像，或雕刻，或铸造，就是工匠手所做的，在暗中设立，那人必受咒诅！’百姓都要答应说：‘阿们！’‘Cursed is the man who makes a carved idol or molten image—an abomination to the LORD, the work of the hands of a craftsman—and sets it up in secret.’ And let all the people say, ‘Amen!’

¹⁶“‘轻慢父母的，必受咒诅！’百姓都要说：‘阿们！’‘Cursed is he who dishonors his father or mother.’ And let all the people say, ‘Amen!’

¹⁷“‘挪移邻舍地界的，必受咒诅！’百姓都要说：‘阿们！’‘Cursed is he who moves his neighbor’s boundary stone.’ And let all the people say, ‘Amen!’

¹⁸“‘使瞎子走差路的，必受咒诅！’百姓都要说：‘阿们！’‘Cursed is he who lets a blind man wander in the road.’ And let all the people say, ‘Amen!’

¹⁹“‘向寄居的和孤儿寡妇屈枉正直的，必受咒诅！’百姓都要说：‘阿们！’‘Cursed is he who withholds justice from the foreigner, the fatherless, or the widow.’ And let all the people say, ‘Amen!’

²⁰“‘与继母行淫的，必受咒诅！因为掀开他父亲的衣襟。’百姓都要说：‘阿们！’‘Cursed is he who sleeps with his father’s wife, for he has violated his father’s marriage bed.’ And let all the people say, ‘Amen!’

²¹“‘与兽淫合的，必受咒诅！’百姓都要说：‘阿们！’‘Cursed is he who lies with any animal.’ And let all the people say, ‘Amen!’

²²“‘与异母同父，或异父同母的姊妹行淫的，必受咒诅！’百姓都要说：‘阿们！’‘Cursed is he who sleeps with his sister, the daughter of his father or the daughter of his mother.’ And let all the people say, ‘Amen!’

²³“‘与岳母行淫的，必受咒诅！’百姓都要说：‘阿们！’‘Cursed is he who sleeps with his mother-in-law.’ And let all the people say, ‘Amen!’

²⁴“‘暗中杀人的，必受咒诅！’百姓都要说：‘阿们！’‘Cursed is he who strikes down his neighbor in secret.’ And let all the people say, ‘Amen!’

²⁵“‘受贿赂害死无辜之人的，必受咒诅！’百姓都要说：‘阿们！’‘Cursed is he who accepts a bribe to kill an innocent person.’ And let all the people say, ‘Amen!’

²⁶“‘不坚守遵行这律法言语的，必受咒诅！’百姓都要说：‘阿们！’‘Cursed is he who does not put the words of this law into practice.’ And let all the people say, ‘Amen!’

顺从的祝福

¹“你若留意听从耶和华—你　神的话，谨守遵行他的一切诫命，就是我今日所吩咐你的，他必使你超乎天下万民之上。“Now if you faithfully obey the voice of the LORD your God and are careful to follow all His commandments I am giving you today, the LORD your God will set you high above all the nations of the earth.

²你若听从耶和华—你　神的话，这以下的福必追随你，临到你身上：And all these blessings will come upon you and overtake you, if you will obey the voice of the LORD your God:

³你在城里必蒙福，在田间也必蒙福。You will be blessed in the city and blessed in the country.

⁴你身所生的，地所产的，牲畜所下的，以及牛犊、羊羔，都必蒙福。The fruit of your womb will be blessed, as well as the produce of your land and the offspring of your livestock—the calves of your herds and the lambs of your flocks.

⁵你的筐子和你的抟面盆都必蒙福。Your basket and kneading bowl will be blessed.

⁶你出也蒙福，入也蒙福。You will be blessed when you come in and blessed when you go out.

仇敌败逃，凡事蒙福

⁷“仇敌起来攻击你，耶和华必使他们在你面前被你杀败；他们从一条路来攻击你，必从七条路逃跑。The LORD will cause the enemies who rise up against you to be defeated before you. They will march out against you in one direction but flee from you in seven.

⁸在你仓房里，并你手所办的一切事上，耶和华所命的福必临到你。耶和华—你　神也要在所给你的地上赐福与你。The LORD will decree a blessing on your barns and on everything to which you put your hand; the LORD your God will bless you in the land He is giving you.

⁹你若谨守耶和华—你　神的诫命，遵行他的道，他必照着向你所起的誓立你作为自己的圣民。The LORD will establish you as His holy people, just as He has sworn to you, if you keep the commandments of the LORD your God and walk in His ways.

¹⁰天下万民见你归在耶和华的名下，就要惧怕你。Then all the peoples of the earth will see that you are called by the name of the LORD, and they will stand in awe of you.

¹¹你在耶和华向你列祖起誓应许赐你的地上，他必使你身所生的，牲畜所下的，地所产的，都绰绰有余。The LORD will make you prosper abundantly—in the fruit of your womb, the offspring of your livestock, and the produce of your land—in the land that the LORD swore to your fathers to give you.

¹²耶和华必为你开天上的府库，按时降雨在你的地上。在你手里所办的一切事上赐福与你。你必借给许多国民，却不致向他们借贷。The LORD will open the heavens, His abundant storehouse, to send rain on your land in season and to bless all the work of your hands. You will lend to many nations, but borrow from none.

^13–14你若听从耶和华—你　神的诫命，就是我今日所吩咐你的，谨守遵行，不偏左右，也不随从事奉别神，耶和华就必使你作首不作尾，但居上不居下。”The LORD will make you the head and not the tail; you will only move upward and never downward, if you hear and carefully follow the commandments of the LORD your God, which I am giving you today. Do not turn aside to the right or to the left from any of the words I command you today, and do not go after other gods to serve them.

回到加利利教导人

¹⁴耶稣满有圣灵的能力，回到加利利；他的名声就传遍了四方。Jesus returned to Galilee in the power of the Spirit, and the news about Him spread throughout the surrounding region.

¹⁵他在各会堂里教训人，众人都称赞他。He taught in their synagogues and was glorified by everyone.

在拿撒勒会堂读以赛亚书

¹⁶耶稣来到拿撒勒，就是他长大的地方。在安息日，照他平常的规矩进了会堂，站起来要念圣经。Then Jesus came to Nazareth, where He had been brought up. As was His custom, He entered the synagogue on the Sabbath. And when He stood up to read,

¹⁷有人把先知以赛亚的书交给他，他就打开，找到一处写着说：the scroll of the prophet Isaiah was handed to Him. Unrolling it, He found the place where it was written:

今天这经应验了

²⁰于是把书卷起来，交还执事，就坐下。会堂里的人都定睛看他。Then He rolled up the scroll, returned it to the attendant, and sat down. The eyes of everyone in the synagogue were fixed on Him,

²¹耶稣对他们说：“今天这经应验在你们耳中了。”and He began by saying, “Today this Scripture is fulfilled in your hearing.”

这不是约瑟的儿子吗

²²众人都称赞他，并希奇他口中所出的恩言；又说：“这不是约瑟的儿子吗？”All spoke well of Him and marveled at the gracious words that came from His lips. “Isn’t this the son of Joseph?” they asked.

²³耶稣对他们说：“你们必引这俗语向我说：‘医生，你医治自己吧！我们听见你在迦百农所行的事，也当行在你自己家乡里’”；Jesus said to them, “Surely you will quote this proverb to Me: ‘Physician, heal yourself! Do here in Your hometown what we have heard that You did in Capernaum.’”

²⁴又说：“我实在告诉你们，没有先知在自己家乡被人悦纳的。Then He added, “Truly I tell you, no prophet is accepted in his hometown.

²⁵我对你们说实话，当以利亚的时候，天闭塞了三年零六个月，遍地有大饥荒，那时，以色列中有许多寡妇，But I tell you truthfully that there were many widows in Israel in the time of Elijah, when the sky was shut for three and a half years and great famine swept over all the land.

²⁶以利亚并没有奉差往她们一个人那里去，只奉差往西顿的撒勒法一个寡妇那里去。Yet Elijah was not sent to any of them, but to the widow of Zarephath in Sidon.

²⁷先知以利沙的时候，以色列中有许多长大麻风的，但内中除了叙利亚国的乃缦，没有一个得洁净的。”And there were many lepers in Israel in the time of Elisha the prophet. Yet not one of them was cleansed—only Naaman the Syrian.”

众人要把耶稣推下山崖

²⁸会堂里的人听见这话，都怒气满胸，On hearing this, all the people in the synagogue were enraged.

²⁹就起来撵他出城（他们的城造在山上）；他们带他到山崖，要把他推下去。They got up, drove Him out of the town, and led Him to the brow of the hill on which the town was built, in order to throw Him over the cliff.

³⁰他却从他们中间直行，过去了。But Jesus passed through the crowd and went on His way.
