神给巴录的话

¹犹大王约西亚的儿子约雅敬第四年，尼利亚的儿子巴录将先知耶利米口中所说的话写在书上。耶利米说：This is the word that Jeremiah the prophet spoke to Baruch son of Neriah when he wrote these words on a scroll at the dictation of Jeremiah in the fourth year of Jehoiakim son of Josiah, king of Judah:

²“巴录啊，耶和华—以色列的　神说：“This is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says to you, Baruch:

³巴录（原文是你）曾说：‘哀哉！耶和华将忧愁加在我的痛苦上，我因唉哼而困乏，不得安歇。’You have said, ‘Woe is me because the LORD has added sorrow to my pain! I am worn out with groaning and have found no rest.’”

⁴你要这样告诉他，耶和华如此说：我所建立的，我必拆毁；我所栽植的，我必拔出；在全地我都如此行。Thus Jeremiah was to say to Baruch: “This is what the LORD says: Throughout the land I will demolish what I have built and uproot what I have planted.

⁵你为自己图谋大事吗？不要图谋！我必使灾祸临到凡有血气的。但你无论往哪里去，我必使你以自己的命为掠物。这是耶和华说的。”But as for you, do you seek great things for yourself? Stop seeking! For I will bring disaster on every living creature, declares the LORD, but wherever you go, I will grant your life as a spoil of war.”

论埃及：迦基米施之战

¹耶和华论列国的话临到先知耶利米。This is the word of the LORD about the nations—the word that came to Jeremiah the prophet

²论到关乎埃及王法老尼哥的军队：这军队安营在幼发拉底河边的迦基米施，是巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒在犹大王约西亚的儿子约雅敬第四年所打败的。concerning Egypt and the army of Pharaoh Neco king of Egypt, which was defeated at Carchemish on the Euphrates River by Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon in the fourth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah:

³你们要预备大小盾牌，往前上阵。“Deploy your shields, small and large; advance for battle!

⁴你们套上车，骑上马！顶盔站立，磨枪贯甲！Harness the horses; mount the steeds; take your positions with helmets on! Polish your spears; put on armor!

⁵我为何看见他们惊惶转身退后呢？他们的勇士打败了，急忙逃跑，并不回头；惊吓四围都有！这是耶和华说的。Why am I seeing this? They are terrified, they are retreating; their warriors are defeated, they flee in haste without looking back; terror is on every side!” declares the LORD.

⁶不要容快跑的逃避；不要容勇士逃脱（或译：快跑的不能逃避；勇士不能逃脱）；他们在北方幼发拉底河边绊跌仆倒。“The swift cannot flee, and the warrior cannot escape! In the north by the River Euphrates they stumble and fall.

埃及像尼罗河涨发

⁷像尼罗河涨发，像江河之水翻腾的是谁呢？Who is this, rising like the Nile, like rivers whose waters churn?

⁸埃及像尼罗河涨发，像江河的水翻腾。他说：我要涨发遮盖遍地；我要毁灭城邑和其中的居民。Egypt rises like the Nile, and its waters churn like rivers, boasting, ‘I will rise and cover the earth; I will destroy the cities and their people.’

⁹马匹上去吧！车辆急行吧！勇士，就是手拿盾牌的古实人和弗人（又作利比亚人），并拉弓的路德族，都出去吧！Advance, O horses! Race furiously, O chariots! Let the warriors come forth—Cush and Put carrying their shields, men of Lydia drawing the bow.

¹⁰那日是主—万军之耶和华报仇的日子，要向敌人报仇。刀剑必吞吃得饱，饮血饮足；因为主—万军之耶和华在北方幼发拉底河边有献祭的事。For that day belongs to the Lord GOD of Hosts, a day of vengeance against His foes. The sword will devour until it is satisfied, until it is quenched with their blood. For the Lord GOD of Hosts will hold a sacrifice in the land of the north by the River Euphrates.

¹¹埃及的民（原文是处女）哪，可以上基列取乳香去；你虽多服良药，总是徒然，不得治好。Go up to Gilead for balm, O Virgin Daughter of Egypt! In vain you try many remedies, but for you there is no healing.

¹²列国听见你的羞辱，遍地满了你的哀声；勇士与勇士彼此相碰，一齐跌倒。The nations have heard of your shame, and your outcry fills the earth, because warrior stumbles over warrior and both of them have fallen together.”

巴比伦要攻击埃及

¹³耶和华对先知耶利米所说的话，论到巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒要来攻击埃及地：This is the word that the LORD spoke to Jeremiah the prophet about the coming of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon to strike the land of Egypt:

¹⁴你们要传扬在埃及，宣告在密夺，报告在挪弗、答比匿说：要站起出队，自作准备，因为刀剑在你四围施行吞灭的事。“Announce it in Egypt, and proclaim it in Migdol; proclaim it in Memphis and Tahpanhes: ‘Take your positions and prepare yourself, for the sword devours those around you.’

¹⁵你的壮士为何被冲去呢？他们站立不住；因为耶和华驱逐他们，Why have your warriors been laid low? They cannot stand, for the LORD has thrust them down.

¹⁶使多人绊跌；他们也彼此撞倒，说：起来吧！我们再往本民本地去，好躲避欺压的刀剑。They continue to stumble; indeed, they have fallen over one another. They say, ‘Get up! Let us return to our people and to the land of our birth, away from the sword of the oppressor.’

¹⁷他们在那里喊叫说：埃及王法老不过是个声音（或译：已经败亡）；他已错过所定的时候了。There they will cry out: ‘Pharaoh king of Egypt was all noise; he has let the appointed time pass him by.’

¹⁸君王—名为万军之耶和华的说：我指着我的永生起誓：尼布甲尼撒（原文是他）来的势派必像他泊在众山之中，像迦密在海边一样。As surely as I live, declares the King, whose name is the LORD of Hosts, there will come one who is like Tabor among the mountains and like Carmel by the sea.

¹⁹住在埃及的民（原文是女子）哪，要预备掳去时所用的物件；因为挪弗必成为荒场，且被烧毁，无人居住。Pack your bags for exile, O daughter dwelling in Egypt! For Memphis will be laid waste, destroyed and uninhabited.

肥美的母牛犊

²⁰埃及是肥美的母牛犊；但出于北方的毁灭（或译：牛虻）来到了！来到了！Egypt is a beautiful heifer, but a gadfly from the north is coming against her.

²¹其中的雇勇好像圈里的肥牛犊，他们转身退后，一齐逃跑，站立不住；因为他们遭难的日子、追讨的时候已经临到。Even the mercenaries among her are like fattened calves. They too will turn back; together they will flee, they will not stand their ground, for the day of calamity is coming upon them—the time of their punishment.

²²其中的声音好像蛇行一样。敌人要成队而来，如砍伐树木的手拿斧子攻击他。Egypt will hiss like a fleeing serpent, for the enemy will advance in force; with axes they will come against her like woodsmen cutting down trees.

²³耶和华说：埃及的树林虽然不能寻察（或译：穿不过），敌人却要砍伐，因他们多于蝗虫，不可胜数。They will chop down her forest, declares the LORD, dense though it may be, for they are more numerous than locusts; they cannot be counted.

²⁴埃及的民（原文是女子）必然蒙羞，必交在北方人的手中。The Daughter of Egypt will be put to shame; she will be delivered into the hands of the people of the north.”

神要刑罚埃及的神

²⁵万军之耶和华—以色列的　神说：“我必刑罚挪的亚扪（埃及尊大之神）和法老，并埃及与埃及的神，以及君王，也必刑罚法老和倚靠他的人。The LORD of Hosts, the God of Israel, says: “Behold, I am about to punish Amon god of Thebes, along with Pharaoh, Egypt with her gods and kings, and those who trust in Pharaoh.

²⁶我要将他们交付寻索其命之人的手和巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒与他臣仆的手；以后埃及必再有人居住，与从前一样。这是耶和华说的。”I will deliver them into the hands of those who seek their lives—of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon and his officers. But after this, Egypt will be inhabited as in days of old, declares the LORD.

雅各啊，不要惧怕

²⁷我的仆人雅各啊，不要惧怕！以色列啊，不要惊惶！因我要从远方拯救你，从被掳到之地拯救你的后裔。雅各必回来，得享平靖安逸，无人使他害怕。But you, O Jacob My servant, do not be afraid, and do not be dismayed, O Israel. For I will surely save you out of a distant place, your descendants from the land of their captivity! Jacob will return to quiet and ease, with no one to make him afraid.

²⁸我的仆人雅各啊，不要惧怕！因我与你同在。我要将我所赶你到的那些国灭绝净尽，却不将你灭绝净尽，倒要从宽惩治你，万不能不罚你（不罚你：或译以你为无罪）。这是耶和华说的。And you, My servant Jacob, do not be afraid, declares the LORD, for I am with you. Though I will completely destroy all the nations to which I have banished you, I will not completely destroy you. Yet I will discipline you justly, and will by no means leave you unpunished.”

论非利士人

¹法老攻击迦萨之先，有耶和华论非利士人的话临到先知耶利米。This is the word of the LORD that came to Jeremiah the prophet about the Philistines before Pharaoh struck down Gaza.

²耶和华如此说：有水从北方发起，成为涨溢的河，要涨过遍地和其中所有的，并城和其中所住的。人必呼喊；境内的居民都必哀号。This is what the LORD says: “See how the waters are rising from the north and becoming an overflowing torrent. They will overflow the land and its fullness, the cities and their inhabitants. The people will cry out, and all who dwell in the land will wail

³听见敌人壮马蹄跳的响声和战车隆隆、车轮轰轰；为父的手就发软，不回头看顾儿女。at the sound of the galloping hooves of stallions, the rumbling of chariots, and the clatter of their wheels. The fathers will not turn back for their sons; their hands will hang limp.

⁴因为日子将到，要毁灭一切非利士人，剪除帮助泰尔、西顿所剩下的人。原来耶和华必毁灭非利士人，就是迦斐托海岛余剩的人。For the day has come to destroy all the Philistines, to cut off from Tyre and Sidon every remaining ally. Indeed, the LORD is about to destroy the Philistines, the remnant from the coasts of Caphtor.

⁵迦萨成了光秃；平原中所剩的亚实基伦归于无有。你用刀划身，要到几时呢？The people of Gaza will shave their heads in mourning; Ashkelon will be silenced. O remnant of their valley, how long will you gash yourself?

耶和华的刀剑何时止息

⁶耶和华的刀剑哪，你到几时才止息呢？你要入鞘，安靖不动。‘Alas, O sword of the LORD, how long until you rest? Return to your sheath; cease and be still!’

⁷耶和华既吩咐你攻击亚实基伦和海边之地，他已经派定你，焉能止息呢？How can it rest when the LORD has commanded it? He has appointed it against Ashkelon and the shore of its coastland.”

来到施恩的宝座前

¹⁴我们既然有一位已经升入高天尊荣的大祭司，就是　神的儿子耶稣，便当持定所承认的道。Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to what we profess.

¹⁵因我们的大祭司并非不能体恤我们的软弱。他也曾凡事受过试探，与我们一样，只是他没有犯罪。For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who was tempted in every way that we are, yet was without sin.

¹⁶所以，我们只管坦然无惧地来到施恩的宝座前，为要得怜恤，蒙恩惠，作随时的帮助。Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

大祭司的职分

¹凡从人间挑选的大祭司，是奉派替人办理属　神的事，为要献上礼物和赎罪祭（或译：要为罪献上礼物和祭物）。Every high priest is appointed from among men to represent them in matters relating to God, to offer gifts and sacrifices for sins.

²他能体谅那愚蒙的和失迷的人，因为他自己也是被软弱所困。He is able to deal gently with those who are ignorant and misguided, since he himself is subject to weakness.

³故此，他理当为百姓和自己献祭赎罪。That is why he is obligated to offer sacrifices for his own sins, as well as for the sins of the people.

蒙神所召，像亚伦一样

⁴这大祭司的尊荣，没有人自取。惟要蒙　神所召，像亚伦一样。No one takes this honor upon himself; he must be called by God, just as Aaron was.

⁵如此，基督也不是自取荣耀作大祭司，乃是在乎向他说“你是我的儿子，我今日生你”的那一位；So also Christ did not take upon Himself the glory of becoming a high priest, but He was called by the One who said to Him: “You are My Son; today I have become Your Father.”

因受苦学了顺从

⁷基督在肉体的时候，既大声哀哭，流泪祷告，恳求那能救他免死的主，就因他的虔诚蒙了应允。During the days of Jesus’ earthly life, He offered up prayers and petitions with loud cries and tears to the One who could save Him from death, and He was heard because of His reverence.

⁸他虽然为儿子，还是因所受的苦难学了顺从。Although He was a Son, He learned obedience from what He suffered.

⁹他既得以完全，就为凡顺从他的人成了永远得救的根源，And having been made perfect, He became the source of eternal salvation to all who obey Him

¹⁰并蒙　神照着麦基洗德的等次称他为大祭司。and was designated by God as high priest in the order of Melchizedek.
