颈项上的绳索与轭

¹犹大王约西亚的儿子约雅敬（约雅敬是西底家的别名，看第三节）登基的时候，有这话从耶和华临到耶利米说：At the beginning of the reign of Zedekiah son of Josiah king of Judah, this word came to Jeremiah from the LORD.

²“耶和华对我如此说：你做绳索与轭，加在自己的颈项上，This is what the LORD said to me: “Make for yourself a yoke out of leather straps and put it on your neck.

³借那些来到耶路撒冷见犹大王西底家的使臣之手，把绳索与轭送到以东王、摩押王、亚扪王、泰尔王、西顿王那里，Send word to the kings of Edom, Moab, Ammon, Tyre, and Sidon through the envoys who have come to Jerusalem to Zedekiah king of Judah.

⁴且嘱咐使臣，传与他们的主人说，万军之耶和华—以色列的　神如此说：Give them a message from the LORD of Hosts, the God of Israel, to relay to their masters:

神把地交给尼布甲尼撒

⁵我用大能和伸出来的膀臂，创造大地和地上的人民、牲畜。我看给谁相宜，就把地给谁。By My great power and outstretched arm, I made the earth and the men and beasts on the face of it, and I give it to whom I please.

⁶现在我将这些地都交给我仆人巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒的手，我也将田野的走兽给他使用。So now I have placed all these lands under the authority of My servant Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon. I have even made the beasts of the field subject to him.

⁷列国都必服事他和他的儿孙，直到他本国遭报的日期来到。那时，多国和大君王要使他作他们的奴仆。All nations will serve him and his son and grandson, until the time of his own land comes; then many nations and great kings will enslave him.

不可听占卜和假先知

⁸“无论哪一邦哪一国，不肯服事这巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒，也不把颈项放在巴比伦王的轭下，我必用刀剑、饥荒、瘟疫刑罚那邦，直到我借巴比伦王的手将他们毁灭。这是耶和华说的。As for the nation or kingdom that does not serve Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon and does not place its neck under his yoke, I will punish that nation by sword and famine and plague, declares the LORD, until I have destroyed it by his hand.

⁹至于你们，不可听从你们的先知和占卜的、圆梦的、观兆的，以及行邪术的；他们告诉你们说：‘你们不致服事巴比伦王。’But as for you, do not listen to your prophets, your diviners, your interpreters of dreams, your mediums, or your sorcerers who declare, ‘You will not serve the king of Babylon.’

¹⁰他们向你们说假预言，要叫你们迁移，远离本地，以致我将你们赶出去，使你们灭亡。For they prophesy to you a lie that will serve to remove you from your land; I will banish you and you will perish.

¹¹但哪一邦肯把颈项放在巴比伦王的轭下服事他，我必使那邦仍在本地存留，得以耕种居住。这是耶和华说的。”But the nation that will put its neck under the yoke of the king of Babylon and serve him, I will leave in its own land, to cultivate it and reside in it, declares the LORD.”

对西底家说：服事巴比伦王便得存活

¹²我就照这一切的话对犹大王西底家说：“要把你们的颈项放在巴比伦王的轭下，服事他和他的百姓，便得存活。And to Zedekiah king of Judah I spoke the same message: “Put your necks under the yoke of the king of Babylon; serve him and his people, and live!

¹³你和你的百姓为何要因刀剑、饥荒、瘟疫死亡，正如耶和华论到不服事巴比伦王的那国说的话呢？Why should you and your people die by sword and famine and plague, as the LORD has decreed against any nation that does not serve the king of Babylon?

¹⁴不可听那些先知对你们所说的话；他们说：‘你们不致服事巴比伦王’，其实他们向你们说假预言。Do not listen to the words of the prophets who say, ‘You must not serve the king of Babylon,’ for they are prophesying to you a lie.

¹⁵耶和华说：‘我并没有打发他们，他们却托我的名说假预言，好使我将你们和向你们说预言的那些先知赶出去，一同灭亡。’”For I have not sent them, declares the LORD, and yet they are prophesying falsely in My name; therefore I will banish you, and you will perish—you and the prophets who prophesy to you.”

殿中器皿必被带到巴比伦

¹⁶我又对祭司和这众民说：“耶和华如此说：你们不可听那先知对你们所说的预言。他们说：‘耶和华殿中的器皿快要从巴比伦带回来’；其实他们向你们说假预言。Then I said to the priests and to all this people, “This is what the LORD says: Do not listen to the words of your prophets who prophesy to you, saying, ‘Look, very soon now the articles from the house of the LORD will be brought back from Babylon.’ They are prophesying to you a lie.

¹⁷不可听从他们，只管服事巴比伦王便得存活。这城何致变为荒场呢？Do not listen to them. Serve the king of Babylon and live! Why should this city become a ruin?

¹⁸他们若果是先知，有耶和华的话临到他们，让他们祈求万军之耶和华，使那在耶和华殿中和犹大王宫内，并耶路撒冷剩下的器皿，不被带到巴比伦去。If they are indeed prophets and the word of the LORD is with them, let them now plead with the LORD of Hosts that the articles remaining in the house of the LORD, in the palace of the king of Judah, and in Jerusalem, not be taken to Babylon.

¹⁹（因为万军之耶和华论到柱子、铜海、盆座，并剩在这城里的器皿，For this is what the LORD of Hosts says about the pillars, the sea, the bases, and the rest of the articles that remain in this city,

²⁰就是巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒掳掠犹大王约雅敬的儿子耶哥尼雅，和犹大、耶路撒冷一切贵胄的时候所没有掠去的器皿。）which Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon did not take when he carried Jeconiah son of Jehoiakim king of Judah into exile from Jerusalem to Babylon, along with all the nobles of Judah and Jerusalem.

²¹论到那在耶和华殿中和犹大王宫内，并耶路撒冷剩下的器皿，万军之耶和华—以色列的　神如此说：Yes, this is what the LORD of Hosts, the God of Israel, says about the articles that remain in the house of the LORD, in the palace of the king of Judah, and in Jerusalem:

²²必被带到巴比伦存在那里，直到我眷顾以色列人的日子。那时，我必将这器皿带回来，交还此地。这是耶和华说的。”‘They will be carried to Babylon and will remain there until the day I attend to them again,’ declares the LORD. ‘Then I will bring them back and restore them to this place.’”

哈拿尼雅的假预言

¹当年，就是犹大王西底家登基第四年五月，基遍人押朔的儿子，先知哈拿尼雅，在耶和华的殿中当着祭司和众民对我说：In the fifth month of that same year, the fourth year, near the beginning of the reign of King Zedekiah of Judah, the prophet Hananiah son of Azzur, who was from Gibeon, said to me in the house of the LORD in the presence of the priests and all the people:

²“万军之耶和华—以色列的　神如此说：我已经折断巴比伦王的轭。“This is what the LORD of Hosts, the God of Israel, says: ‘I have broken the yoke of the king of Babylon.

³二年之内，我要将巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒从这地掠到巴比伦的器皿，就是耶和华殿中的一切器皿都带回此地。Within two years I will restore to this place all the articles of the house of the LORD that Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon removed from here and carried to Babylon.

⁴我又要将犹大王约雅敬的儿子耶哥尼雅和被掳到巴比伦去的一切犹大人带回此地，因为我要折断巴比伦王的轭。这是耶和华说的。”And I will restore to this place Jeconiah son of Jehoiakim king of Judah, along with all the exiles from Judah who went to Babylon,’ declares the LORD, ‘for I will break the yoke of the king of Babylon.’”

耶利米：愿耶和华如此行

⁵先知耶利米当着祭司和站在耶和华殿里的众民对先知哈拿尼雅说：Then the prophet Jeremiah replied to the prophet Hananiah in the presence of the priests and all the people who were standing in the house of the LORD.

⁶“阿们！愿耶和华如此行，愿耶和华成就你所预言的话，将耶和华殿中的器皿和一切被掳去的人从巴比伦带回此地。“Amen!” Jeremiah said. “May the LORD do so! May the LORD fulfill the words you have prophesied, and may He restore the articles of His house and all the exiles back to this place from Babylon.

⁷然而我向你和众民耳中所要说的话，你应当听。Nevertheless, listen now to this message I am speaking in your hearing and in the hearing of all the people.

⁸从古以来，在你我以前的先知，向多国和大邦说预言，论到争战、灾祸、瘟疫的事。The prophets of old who preceded you and me prophesied war, disaster, and plague against many lands and great kingdoms.

⁹先知预言的平安，到话语成就的时候，人便知道他真是耶和华所差来的。”As for the prophet who prophesies peace, only if the word of the prophet comes true will the prophet be recognized as one the LORD has truly sent.”

哈拿尼雅折断木轭

¹⁰于是，先知哈拿尼雅将先知耶利米颈项上的轭取下来，折断了。Then the prophet Hananiah took the yoke off the neck of Jeremiah the prophet and broke it.

¹¹哈拿尼雅又当着众民说：“耶和华如此说：二年之内我必照样从列国人的颈项上折断巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒的轭。”于是先知耶利米就走了。And in the presence of all the people Hananiah proclaimed, “This is what the LORD says: ‘In this way, within two years I will break the yoke of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon off the neck of all the nations.’” At this, Jeremiah the prophet went on his way.

木轭换成铁轭

¹²先知哈拿尼雅把先知耶利米颈项上的轭折断以后，耶和华的话临到耶利米说：But shortly after Hananiah the prophet had broken the yoke off his neck, the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah:

¹³“你去告诉哈拿尼雅说，耶和华如此说：你折断木轭，却换了铁轭！“Go and tell Hananiah that this is what the LORD says: ‘You have broken a yoke of wood, but in its place you have fashioned a yoke of iron.’

¹⁴因为万军之耶和华—以色列的　神如此说：我已将铁轭加在这些国的颈项上，使他们服事巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒，他们总要服事他；我也把田野的走兽给了他。”For this is what the LORD of Hosts, the God of Israel, says: ‘I have put a yoke of iron on the neck of all these nations to make them serve Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and they will serve him. I have even given him control of the beasts of the field.’”

哈拿尼雅当年必死

¹⁵于是先知耶利米对先知哈拿尼雅说：“哈拿尼雅啊，你应当听！耶和华并没有差遣你，你竟使这百姓倚靠谎言。Then the prophet Jeremiah said to the prophet Hananiah, “Listen, Hananiah! The LORD did not send you, but you have persuaded this people to trust in a lie.

¹⁶所以耶和华如此说：看哪，我要叫你去世，你今年必死，因为你向耶和华说了叛逆的话。”Therefore this is what the LORD says: ‘I am about to remove you from the face of the earth. You will die this year because you have preached rebellion against the LORD.’”

¹⁷这样，先知哈拿尼雅当年七月间就死了。And in the seventh month of that very year, the prophet Hananiah died.

末世危险的日子

¹你该知道，末世必有危险的日子来到。But understand this: In the last days terrible times will come.

²因为那时，人要专顾自己，贪爱钱财，自夸，狂傲，谤讟，违背父母，忘恩负义，心不圣洁，For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy,

³无亲情，不解怨，好说谗言，不能自约，性情凶暴，不爱良善，unloving, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, without love of good,

⁴卖主卖友，任意妄为，自高自大，爱宴乐，不爱　神，traitorous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God,

⁵有敬虔的外貌，却背了敬虔的实意；这等人你要躲开。having a form of godliness but denying its power. Turn away from such as these!

牢笼无知妇女的人

⁶那偷进人家、牢笼无知妇女的，正是这等人。这些妇女担负罪恶，被各样的私欲引诱，They are the kind who worm their way into households and captivate vulnerable women who are weighed down with sins and led astray by various passions,

⁷常常学习，终久不能明白真道。who are always learning but never able to come to a knowledge of the truth.

像雅尼和佯庇一样

⁸从前雅尼和佯庇怎样敌挡摩西，这等人也怎样敌挡真道。他们的心地坏了，在真道上是可废弃的。Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so also these men oppose the truth. They are depraved in mind and disqualified from the faith.

⁹然而他们不能再这样敌挡；因为他们的愚昧必在众人面前显露出来，像那二人一样。But they will not advance much further. For just like Jannes and Jambres, their folly will be plain to everyone.

你已经服从了我的教训

¹⁰但你已经服从了我的教训、品行、志向、信心、宽容、爱心、忍耐，You, however, have observed my teaching, my conduct, my purpose, my faith, my patience, my love, my perseverance,

¹¹以及我在安提阿、以哥念、路司得所遭遇的逼迫、苦难。我所忍受是何等的逼迫；但从这一切苦难中，主都把我救出来了。my persecutions, and the sufferings that came upon me in Antioch, Iconium, and Lystra. What persecutions I endured! Yet the Lord rescued me from all of them.

敬虔度日的都要受逼迫

¹²不但如此，凡立志在基督耶稣里敬虔度日的也都要受逼迫。Indeed, all who desire to live godly lives in Christ Jesus will be persecuted,

¹³只是作恶的和迷惑人的，必越久越恶，他欺哄人，也被人欺哄。while evil men and imposters go from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived.

所学习的要存在心里

¹⁴但你所学习的，所确信的，要存在心里；因为你知道是跟谁学的，But as for you, continue in the things you have learned and firmly believed, since you know from whom you have learned them.

¹⁵并且知道你是从小明白圣经，这圣经能使你因信基督耶稣，有得救的智慧。From infancy you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.

圣经都是神所默示的

¹⁶圣经都是　神所默示的（或译：凡　神所默示的圣经），于教训、督责、使人归正、教导人学义都是有益的，All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for instruction, for conviction, for correction, and for training in righteousness,

¹⁷叫属　神的人得以完全，预备行各样的善事。so that the man of God may be complete, fully equipped for every good work.
