二十三年的传讲

¹犹大王约西亚的儿子约雅敬第四年，就是巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒的元年，耶和华论犹大众民的话临到耶利米。This is the word that came to Jeremiah concerning all the people of Judah in the fourth year of Jehoiakim son of Josiah king of Judah, which was the first year of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon.

²先知耶利米就将这话对犹大众人和耶路撒冷的一切居民说：So the prophet Jeremiah spoke to all the people of Judah and all the residents of Jerusalem as follows:

³“从犹大王亚们的儿子约西亚十三年直到今日，这二十三年之内，常有耶和华的话临到我；我也对你们传说，就是从早起来传说，只是你们没有听从。“From the thirteenth year of Josiah son of Amon king of Judah until this very day—twenty-three years—the word of the LORD has come to me, and I have spoken to you again and again, but you have not listened.

⁴耶和华也从早起来，差遣他的仆人众先知到你们这里来（只是你们没有听从，也没有侧耳而听），And the LORD has sent all His servants the prophets to you again and again, but you have not listened or inclined your ear to hear.

⁵说：‘你们各人当回头，离开恶道和所作的恶，便可居住耶和华古时所赐给你们和你们列祖之地，直到永远。The prophets told you, ‘Turn now, each of you, from your evil ways and deeds, and you can dwell in the land that the LORD has given to you and your fathers forever and ever.

⁶不可随从别神事奉敬拜，以你们手所做的惹我发怒；这样，我就不加害与你们。Do not follow other gods to serve and worship them, and do not provoke Me to anger with the works of your hands. Then I will do you no harm.’

⁷然而你们没有听从我，竟以手所做的惹我发怒，陷害自己。这是耶和华说的。’”‘But to your own harm, you have not listened to Me,’ declares the LORD, ‘so you have provoked Me to anger with the works of your hands.’

要服事巴比伦王七十年

⁸所以万军之耶和华如此说：“因为你们没有听从我的话，Therefore this is what the LORD of Hosts says: ‘Because you have not obeyed My words,

⁹我必召北方的众族和我仆人巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒来攻击这地和这地的居民，并四围一切的国民。我要将他们尽行灭绝，以致他们令人惊骇、嗤笑，并且永久荒凉。这是耶和华说的。behold, I will summon all the families of the north, declares the LORD, and I will send for My servant Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, whom I will bring against this land, against its residents, and against all the surrounding nations. So I will devote them to destruction and make them an object of horror and contempt, an everlasting desolation.

¹⁰我又要使欢喜和快乐的声音，新郎和新妇的声音，推磨的声音和灯的亮光，从他们中间止息。Moreover, I will banish from them the sounds of joy and gladness, the voices of the bride and bridegroom, the sound of the millstones, and the light of the lamp.

¹¹这全地必然荒凉，令人惊骇。这些国民要服事巴比伦王七十年。And this whole land will become a desolate wasteland, and these nations will serve the king of Babylon for seventy years.

¹²七十年满了以后，我必刑罚巴比伦王和那国民，并迦勒底人之地，因他们的罪孽使那地永远荒凉。这是耶和华说的。But when seventy years are complete, I will punish the king of Babylon and that nation, the land of the Chaldeans, for their guilt, declares the LORD, and I will make it an everlasting desolation.

¹³我也必使我向那地所说的话，就是记在这书上的话，是耶利米向这些国民说的预言，都临到那地。I will bring upon that land all the words I have pronounced against it, all that is written in this book, which Jeremiah has prophesied against all the nations.

¹⁴因为有多国和大君王必使迦勒底人作奴仆；我也必照他们的行为，按他们手所做的报应他们。”For many nations and great kings will enslave them, and I will repay them according to their deeds and according to the work of their hands.’”

忿怒的酒杯

¹⁵耶和华—以色列的　神对我如此说：“你从我手中接这杯忿怒的酒，使我所差遣你去的各国的民喝。This is what the LORD, the God of Israel, said to me: “Take from My hand this cup of the wine of wrath, and make all the nations to whom I send you drink from it.

¹⁶他们喝了就要东倒西歪，并要发狂，因我使刀剑临到他们中间。”And they will drink and stagger and go out of their minds, because of the sword that I will send among them.”

¹⁷我就从耶和华的手中接了这杯，给耶和华所差遣我去的各国的民喝，So I took the cup from the LORD’s hand and made all the nations drink from it, each one to whom the LORD had sent me,

¹⁸就是耶路撒冷和犹大的城邑，并耶路撒冷的君王与首领，使这城邑荒凉，令人惊骇、嗤笑、咒诅，正如今日一样。to make them a ruin, an object of horror and contempt and cursing, as they are to this day—Jerusalem and the cities of Judah, its kings and officials;

¹⁹又有埃及王法老和他的臣仆、首领，以及他的众民，Pharaoh king of Egypt, his officials, his leaders, and all his people;

²⁰并杂族的人民和乌斯地的诸王，与非利士地的诸王（亚实基伦、迦萨、以革伦，以及亚实突剩下的人）；all the mixed tribes; all the kings of Uz; all the kings of the Philistines: Ashkelon, Gaza, Ekron, and the remnant of Ashdod;

²¹以东、摩押、亚扪人、Edom, Moab, and the Ammonites;

²²泰尔的诸王、西顿的诸王、海岛的诸王、all the kings of Tyre and Sidon; the kings of the coastlands across the sea;

²³底但、提玛、布斯，和一切剃周围头发的；Dedan, Tema, Buz, and all who cut the corners of their hair;

²⁴阿拉伯的诸王、住旷野杂族人民的诸王、all the kings of Arabia, and all the kings of the mixed tribes who dwell in the desert;

²⁵心利的诸王、以拦的诸王、米底亚的诸王、all the kings of Zimri, Elam, and Media;

²⁶北方远近的诸王，以及天下地上的万国喝了，以后示沙克（就是巴比伦）王也要喝。all the kings of the north, both near and far, one after another—all the kingdoms on the face of the earth. And after all of them, the king of Sheshach will drink it too.

²⁷“你要对他们说：‘万军之耶和华—以色列的　神如此说：你们要喝，且要喝醉，要呕吐，且要跌倒，不得再起来，都因我使刀剑临到你们中间。’“Then you are to tell them that this is what the LORD of Hosts, the God of Israel, says: ‘Drink, get drunk, and vomit. Fall down and never get up again, because of the sword I will send among you.’

²⁸“他们若不肯从你手接这杯喝，你就要对他们说：‘万军之耶和华如此说：你们一定要喝！If they refuse to take the cup from your hand and drink it, you are to tell them that this is what the LORD of Hosts says: ‘You most certainly must drink it!

²⁹我既从称为我名下的城起首施行灾祸，你们能尽免刑罚吗？你们必不能免，因为我要命刀剑临到地上一切的居民。这是万军之耶和华说的。’For behold, I am beginning to bring disaster on the city that bears My Name, so how could you possibly go unpunished? You will not go unpunished, for I am calling down a sword upon all the inhabitants of the earth, declares the LORD of Hosts.’

耶和华从高天吼叫

³⁰“所以你要向他们预言这一切的话，攻击他们，说：耶和华必从高天吼叫，从圣所发声，向自己的羊群大声吼叫；他要向地上一切的居民呐喊，像踹葡萄的一样。So you are to prophesy all these words against them and say to them: ‘The LORD will roar from on high; He will raise His voice from His holy habitation. He will roar loudly over His pasture; like those who tread the grapes, He will call out with a shout against all the inhabitants of the earth.

³¹必有响声达到地极，因为耶和华与列国相争；凡有血气的，他必审问；至于恶人，他必交给刀剑。这是耶和华说的。The tumult will resound to the ends of the earth because the LORD brings a charge against the nations. He brings judgment on all mankind and puts the wicked to the sword,’” declares the LORD.

³²万军之耶和华如此说：看哪，必有灾祸从这国发到那国，并有大暴风从地极刮起。This is what the LORD of Hosts says: “Behold! Disaster is spreading from nation to nation; a mighty storm is rising from the ends of the earth.”

³³“到那日，从地这边直到地那边都有耶和华所杀戮的。必无人哀哭，不得收殓，不得葬埋，必在地上成为粪土。Those slain by the LORD on that day will be spread from one end of the earth to the other. They will not be mourned, gathered, or buried. They will be like dung lying on the ground.

牧人哪，当哀号

³⁴牧人哪，你们当哀号，呼喊；群众的头目啊，你们要滚在灰中；因为你们被杀戮分散的日子足足来到。你们要跌碎，好像美器打碎一样。Wail, you shepherds, and cry out; roll in the dust, you leaders of the flock. For the days of your slaughter have come; you will fall and be shattered like fine pottery.

³⁵牧人无路逃跑；群众的头目也无法逃脱。Flight will evade the shepherds, and escape will elude the leaders of the flock.

³⁶听啊，有牧人呼喊，有群众头目哀号的声音，因为耶和华使他们的草场变为荒场。Hear the cry of the shepherds, the wailing of the leaders of the flock, for the LORD is destroying their pasture.

³⁷耶和华发出猛烈的怒气，平安的羊圈就都寂静无声。The peaceful meadows have been silenced because of the LORD’s burning anger.

³⁸他离了隐密处像狮子一样，他们的地，因刀剑凶猛的欺压，又因他猛烈的怒气都成为可惊骇的。”He has left His den like a lion, for their land has been made a desolation by the sword of the oppressor, and because of the fierce anger of the LORD.

在圣殿院中宣讲

¹犹大王约西亚的儿子约雅敬登基的时候，有这话从耶和华临到耶利米说：At the beginning of the reign of Jehoiakim son of Josiah king of Judah, this word came from the LORD:

²“耶和华如此说：你站在耶和华殿的院内，对犹大众城邑的人，就是到耶和华殿来礼拜的，说我所吩咐你的一切话，一字不可删减。“This is what the LORD says: Stand in the courtyard of the house of the LORD and speak all the words I have commanded you to speak to all the cities of Judah who come to worship there. Do not omit a word.

³或者他们肯听从，各人回头离开恶道，使我后悔不将我因他们所行的恶，想要施行的灾祸降与他们。Perhaps they will listen and turn—each from his evil way of life—so that I may relent of the disaster I am planning to bring upon them because of the evil of their deeds.

⁴你要对他们说，耶和华如此说：‘你们若不听从我，不遵行我设立在你们面前的律法，And you are to tell them that this is what the LORD says: ‘If you do not listen to Me and walk in My law, which I have set before you,

⁵不听我从早起来差遣到你们那里去我仆人众先知的话（你们还是没有听从），and if you do not listen to the words of My servants the prophets, whom I have sent you again and again even though you did not listen,

⁶我就必使这殿如示罗，使这城为地上万国所咒诅的。’”then I will make this house like Shiloh, and I will make this city an object of cursing among all the nations of the earth.’”

祭司和先知要杀耶利米

⁷耶利米在耶和华殿中说的这些话，祭司、先知与众民都听见了。Now the priests and prophets and all the people heard Jeremiah speaking these words in the house of the LORD,

⁸耶利米说完了耶和华所吩咐他对众人说的一切话，祭司、先知与众民都来抓住他，说：“你必要死！and as soon as he had finished telling all the people everything the LORD had commanded him to say, the priests and prophets and all the people seized him, shouting, “You must surely die!

⁹你为何托耶和华的名预言，说这殿必如示罗，这城必变为荒场无人居住呢？”于是众民都在耶和华的殿中聚集到耶利米那里。How dare you prophesy in the name of the LORD that this house will become like Shiloh and this city will be desolate and deserted!” And all the people assembled against Jeremiah in the house of the LORD.

¹⁰犹大的首领听见这事，就从王宫上到耶和华的殿，坐在耶和华殿的新门口。When the officials of Judah heard these things, they went up from the king’s palace to the house of the LORD and sat there at the entrance of the New Gate.

¹¹祭司、先知对首领和众民说：“这人是该死的；因为他说预言攻击这城，正如你们亲耳所听见的。”Then the priests and prophets said to the officials and all the people, “This man is worthy of death, for he has prophesied against this city, as you have heard with your own ears!”

耶利米为自己申辩

¹²耶利米就对众首领和众民说：“耶和华差遣我预言，攻击这殿和这城，说你们所听见的这一切话。But Jeremiah said to all the officials and all the people, “The LORD sent me to prophesy against this house and against this city all the words that you have heard.

¹³现在要改正你们的行动作为，听从耶和华—你们　神的话，他就必后悔，不将所说的灾祸降与你们。So now, correct your ways and deeds, and obey the voice of the LORD your God, so that He might relent of the disaster He has pronounced against you.

¹⁴至于我，我在你们手中，你们眼看何为善，何为正，就那样待我吧！As for me, here I am in your hands; do to me what you think is good and right.

¹⁵但你们要确实地知道，若把我治死，就使无辜人的血归到你们和这城，并其中的居民了；因为耶和华实在差遣我到你们这里来，将这一切话传与你们耳中。”But know for certain that if you put me to death, you will bring innocent blood upon yourselves, upon this city, and upon its residents; for truly the LORD has sent me to speak all these words in your hearing.”

首领说：这人不该死

¹⁶首领和众民就对祭司、先知说：“这人是不该死的，因为他是奉耶和华—我们　神的名向我们说话。”Then the officials and all the people told the priests and prophets, “This man is not worthy of death, for he has spoken to us in the name of the LORD our God!”

长老引弥迦为例

¹⁷国中的长老就有几个人起来，对聚会的众民说：Some of the elders of the land stood up and said to the whole assembly of the people,

¹⁸“当犹大王希西家的日子，有摩利沙人弥迦对犹大众人预言说：万军之耶和华如此说：锡安必被耕种像一块田；耶路撒冷必变为乱堆；这殿的山必像丛林的高处。“Micah the Moreshite prophesied in the days of Hezekiah king of Judah and told all the people of Judah that this is what the LORD of Hosts says: ‘Zion will be plowed like a field, Jerusalem will become a heap of rubble, and the temple mount a wooded ridge.’

¹⁹犹大王希西家和犹大众人岂是把他治死呢？希西家岂不是敬畏耶和华、恳求他的恩吗？耶和华就后悔，不把自己所说的灾祸降与他们。若治死这人，我们就作了大恶，自害己命。”Did Hezekiah king of Judah or anyone else in Judah put him to death? Did Hezekiah not fear the LORD and seek His favor, and did not the LORD relent of the disaster He had pronounced against them? But we are about to bring great harm on ourselves!”

先知乌利亚被杀

²⁰（又有一个人奉耶和华的名说预言，是基列·耶琳人示玛雅的儿子乌利亚，他照耶利米的一切话说预言，攻击这城和这地。Now there was another man prophesying in the name of the LORD, Uriah son of Shemaiah from Kiriath-jearim. He prophesied against this city and against this land the same things that Jeremiah did.

²¹约雅敬王和他众勇士、众首领听见了乌利亚的话，王就想要把他治死。乌利亚听见就惧怕，逃往埃及去了。King Jehoiakim and all his mighty men and officials heard his words, and the king sought to put him to death. But when Uriah found out about it, he fled in fear and went to Egypt.

²²约雅敬王便打发亚革波的儿子以利拿单，带领几个人往埃及去。Then King Jehoiakim sent men to Egypt: Elnathan son of Achbor along with some other men.

²³他们就从埃及将乌利亚带出来，送到约雅敬王那里；王用刀杀了他，把他的尸首抛在平民的坟地中。）They brought Uriah out of Egypt and took him to King Jehoiakim, who had him put to the sword and his body thrown into the burial place of the common people.

亚希甘保护耶利米

²⁴然而，沙番的儿子亚希甘保护耶利米，不交在百姓的手中治死他。Nevertheless, Ahikam son of Shaphan supported Jeremiah, so he was not handed over to the people to be put to death.

交托忠心的人

¹我儿啊，你要在基督耶稣的恩典上刚强起来。You therefore, my child, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.

²你在许多见证人面前听见我所教训的，也要交托那忠心能教导别人的人。And the things that you have heard me say among many witnesses, entrust these to faithful men who will be qualified to teach others as well.

精兵、比武者、农夫

³你要和我同受苦难，好像基督耶稣的精兵。Join me in suffering, like a good soldier of Christ Jesus.

⁴凡在军中当兵的，不将世务缠身，好叫那招他当兵的人喜悦。A soldier refrains from entangling himself in civilian affairs, in order to please the one who enlisted him.

⁵人若在场上比武，非按规矩，就不能得冠冕。Likewise, a competitor does not receive the crown unless he competes according to the rules.

⁶劳力的农夫理当先得粮食。The hardworking farmer should be the first to partake of the crops.

⁷我所说的话，你要思想，因为凡事主必给你聪明。Consider what I am saying, for the Lord will give you insight into all things.

神的道不被捆绑

⁸你要记念耶稣基督乃是大卫的后裔，他从死里复活，正合乎我所传的福音。Remember Jesus Christ, raised from the dead, descended from David, as proclaimed by my gospel,

⁹我为这福音受苦难，甚至被捆绑，像犯人一样。然而　神的道却不被捆绑。for which I suffer to the extent of being chained like a criminal. But the word of God cannot be chained!

¹⁰所以，我为选民凡事忍耐，叫他们也可以得着那在基督耶稣里的救恩和永远的荣耀。For this reason I endure all things for the sake of the elect, so that they too may obtain the salvation that is in Christ Jesus, with eternal glory.

可信的话

¹¹有可信的话说：我们若与基督同死，也必与他同活；This is a trustworthy saying: If we died with Him, we will also live with Him;

¹²我们若能忍耐，也必和他一同作王。我们若不认他，他也必不认我们；if we endure, we will also reign with Him; if we deny Him, He will also deny us;

¹³我们纵然失信，他仍是可信的，因为他不能背乎自己。if we are faithless, He remains faithful, for He cannot deny Himself.

作无愧的工人

¹⁴你要使众人回想这些事，在主面前嘱咐他们：不可为言语争辩；这是没有益处的，只能败坏听见的人。Remind the believers of these things, charging them before God to avoid quarreling over words, which succeeds only in leading the listeners to ruin.

¹⁵你当竭力在　神面前得蒙喜悦，作无愧的工人，按着正意分解真理的道。Make every effort to present yourself approved to God, an unashamed workman who accurately handles the word of truth.

远避世俗的虚谈

¹⁶但要远避世俗的虚谈，因为这等人必进到更不敬虔的地步。But avoid irreverent, empty chatter, which will only lead to more ungodliness,

¹⁷他们的话如同毒疮，越烂越大；其中有许米乃和腓理徒，and the talk of such men will spread like gangrene. Among them are Hymenaeus and Philetus,

¹⁸他们偏离了真道，说复活的事已过，就败坏好些人的信心。who have deviated from the truth. They say that the resurrection has already occurred, and they undermine the faith of some.

神坚固的根基

¹⁹然而，　神坚固的根基立住了；上面有这印记说：“主认识谁是他的人”；又说：“凡称呼主名的人总要离开不义。”Nevertheless, God’s firm foundation stands, bearing this seal: “The Lord knows those who are His,” and, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord must turn away from iniquity.”

作贵重的器皿

²⁰在大户人家，不但有金器银器，也有木器瓦器；有作为贵重的，有作为卑贱的。A large house contains not only vessels of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay. Some indeed are for honorable use, but others are for common use.

²¹人若自洁，脱离卑贱的事，就必作贵重的器皿，成为圣洁，合乎主用，预备行各样的善事。So if anyone cleanses himself of what is unfit, he will be a vessel for honor: sanctified, useful to the Master, and prepared for every good work.

逃避少年的私欲

²²你要逃避少年的私欲，同那清心祷告主的人追求公义、信德、仁爱、和平。Flee from youthful passions and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace, together with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.

²³惟有那愚拙无学问的辩论，总要弃绝，因为知道这等事是起争竞的。But reject foolish and ignorant speculation, for you know that it breeds quarreling.

主的仆人不可争竞

²⁴然而主的仆人不可争竞，只要温温和和地待众人，善于教导，存心忍耐，And a servant of the Lord must not be quarrelsome, but must be kind to everyone, able to teach, and forbearing.

²⁵用温柔劝戒那抵挡的人；或者　神给他们悔改的心，可以明白真道，He must gently reprove those who oppose him, in the hope that God may grant them repentance leading to a knowledge of the truth.

²⁶叫他们这已经被魔鬼任意掳去的，可以醒悟，脱离他的网罗。Then they will come to their senses and escape the snare of the devil, who has taken them captive to his will.
