²⁶亚们葬在乌撒的园内自己的坟墓里。他儿子约西亚接续他作王。And he was buried in his tomb in the garden of Uzza, and his son Josiah reigned in his place.

约西亚行耶和华看为正的事

¹约西亚登基的时候年八岁，在耶路撒冷作王三十一年。他母亲名叫耶底大，是波斯加人亚大雅的女儿。Josiah was eight years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem thirty-one years. His mother’s name was Jedidah daughter of Adaiah; she was from Bozkath.

²约西亚行耶和华眼中看为正的事，行他祖大卫一切所行的，不偏左右。And he did what was right in the eyes of the LORD and walked in all the ways of his father David; he did not turn aside to the right or to the left.

修理圣殿

³约西亚王十八年，王差遣米书兰的孙子、亚萨利的儿子—书记沙番上耶和华殿去，吩咐他说：Now in the eighteenth year of his reign, King Josiah sent the scribe, Shaphan son of Azaliah, the son of Meshullam, to the house of the LORD, saying,

⁴“你去见大祭司希勒家，使他将奉到耶和华殿的银子，就是守门的从民中收聚的银子，数算数算，“Go up to Hilkiah the high priest and have him count the money that has been brought into the house of the LORD, which the doorkeepers have collected from the people.

⁵交给耶和华殿里办事的人，使他们转交耶和华殿里做工的人，好修理殿的破坏之处，And let them deliver it into the hands of the supervisors of those doing the work on the house of the LORD, who in turn are to give it to the workmen repairing the damages to the house of the LORD—

⁶就是转交木匠和工人，并瓦匠，又买木料和凿成的石头修理殿宇，to the carpenters, builders, and masons—to buy timber and dressed stone to repair the temple.

⁷将银子交在办事的人手里，不与他们算帐，因为他们办事诚实。”But they need not account for the money put into their hands, since they work with integrity.”

在殿里找到律法书

⁸大祭司希勒家对书记沙番说：“我在耶和华殿里得了律法书。”希勒家将书递给沙番，沙番就看了。Then Hilkiah the high priest said to Shaphan the scribe, “I have found the Book of the Law in the house of the LORD!” And he gave it to Shaphan, who read it.

⁹书记沙番到王那里，回复王说：“你的仆人已将殿里的银子倒出数算，交给耶和华殿里办事的人了。”And Shaphan the scribe went to the king and reported, “Your servants have paid out the money that was found in the temple and have put it into the hands of the workers and supervisors of the house of the LORD.”

¹⁰书记沙番又对王说：“祭司希勒家递给我一卷书。”沙番就在王面前读那书。Moreover, Shaphan the scribe told the king, “Hilkiah the priest has given me a book.” And Shaphan read it in the presence of the king.

王撕裂衣服、求问耶和华

¹¹王听见律法书上的话，便撕裂衣服，When the king heard the words of the Book of the Law, he tore his clothes

¹²吩咐祭司希勒家与沙番的儿子亚希甘、米该亚的儿子亚革波、书记沙番和王的臣仆亚撒雅，说：and commanded Hilkiah the priest, Ahikam son of Shaphan, Achbor son of Micaiah, Shaphan the scribe, and Asaiah the servant of the king:

¹³“你们去为我、为民、为犹大众人，以这书上的话求问耶和华；因为我们列祖没有听从这书上的言语，没有遵着书上所吩咐我们的去行，耶和华就向我们大发烈怒。”“Go and inquire of the LORD for me, for the people, and for all Judah concerning the words in this book that has been found. For great is the wrath of the LORD that burns against us because our fathers have not obeyed the words of this book by doing all that is written about us.”

女先知户勒大的回答

¹⁴于是，祭司希勒家和亚希甘、亚革波、沙番、亚撒雅都去见女先知户勒大。户勒大是掌管礼服沙龙的妻；沙龙是哈珥哈斯的孙子、特瓦的儿子。户勒大住在耶路撒冷第二区。他们请问于她。So Hilkiah the priest, Ahikam, Achbor, Shaphan, and Asaiah went and spoke to Huldah the prophetess, the wife of Shallum son of Tikvah, the son of Harhas, the keeper of the wardrobe. She lived in Jerusalem, in the Second District.

¹⁵她对他们说：“耶和华—以色列的　神如此说：‘你们可以回复那差遣你们来见我的人说，And Huldah said to them, “This is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says: ‘Tell the man who sent you

¹⁶耶和华如此说：我必照着犹大王所读那书上的一切话，降祸与这地和其上的居民。that this is what the LORD says: I am about to bring calamity on this place and on its people, according to all the words of the book that the king of Judah has read,

¹⁷因为他们离弃我，向别神烧香，用他们手所做的惹我发怒，所以我的忿怒必向这地发作，总不止息。’because they have forsaken Me and burned incense to other gods, that they might provoke Me to anger with all the works of their hands. My wrath will be kindled against this place and will not be quenched.’

¹⁸然而，差遣你们来求问耶和华的犹大王，你们要这样回复他说：‘耶和华—以色列的　神如此说：至于你所听见的话，But as for the king of Judah, who sent you to inquire of the LORD, tell him that this is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says: ‘As for the words that you heard,

¹⁹就是听见我指着这地和其上的居民所说、要使这地变为荒场、民受咒诅的话，你便心里敬服，在我面前自卑，撕裂衣服，向我哭泣，因此我应允了你。这是我—耶和华说的。because your heart was tender and you humbled yourself before the LORD when you heard what I spoke against this place and against its people, that they would become a desolation and a curse, and because you have torn your clothes and wept before Me, I have heard you,’ declares the LORD.

²⁰我必使你平平安安地归到坟墓到你列祖那里；我要降与这地的一切灾祸，你也不致亲眼看见。’”他们就回复王去了。‘Therefore I will indeed gather you to your fathers, and you will be gathered to your grave in peace. Your eyes will not see all the calamity that I will bring on this place.’” So they brought her answer back to the king.

王与百姓在耶和华面前立约

¹王差遣人招聚犹大和耶路撒冷的众长老来。Then the king summoned all the elders of Judah and Jerusalem.

²王和犹大众人与耶路撒冷的居民，并祭司、先知，和所有的百姓，无论大小，都一同上到耶和华的殿；王就把耶和华殿里所得的约书念给他们听。And he went up to the house of the LORD with all the people of Judah and Jerusalem, as well as the priests and the prophets—all the people small and great—and in their hearing he read all the words of the Book of the Covenant that had been found in the house of the LORD.

³王站在柱旁，在耶和华面前立约，要尽心尽性地顺从耶和华，遵守他的诫命、法度、律例，成就这书上所记的约言。众民都服从这约。So the king stood by the pillar and made a covenant before the LORD to follow the LORD and to keep His commandments, decrees, and statutes with all his heart and all his soul, and to carry out the words of the covenant that were written in this book. And all the people entered into the covenant.

清除圣殿和犹大的偶像

⁴王吩咐大祭司希勒家和副祭司，并把门的，将那为巴力和亚舍拉，并天上万象所造的器皿，都从耶和华殿里搬出来，在耶路撒冷外汲沦溪旁的田间烧了，把灰拿到伯特利去。Then the king commanded Hilkiah the high priest, the priests second in rank, and the doorkeepers to remove from the temple of the LORD all the articles made for Baal, Asherah, and all the host of heaven. And he burned them outside Jerusalem in the fields of Kidron and carried their ashes to Bethel.

⁵从前犹大列王所立拜偶像的祭司，在犹大城邑的邱坛和耶路撒冷的周围烧香，现在王都废去，又废去向巴力和日、月、行星（或译：十二宫），并天上万象烧香的人；Josiah also did away with the idolatrous priests ordained by the kings of Judah to burn incense on the high places of the cities of Judah and in the places all around Jerusalem—those who had burned incense to Baal, to the sun and moon, to the constellations, and to all the host of heaven.

⁶又从耶和华殿里将亚舍拉搬到耶路撒冷外汲沦溪边焚烧，打碎成灰，将灰撒在平民的坟上；He brought the Asherah pole from the house of the LORD to the Kidron Valley outside Jerusalem, and there he burned it, ground it to powder, and threw its dust on the graves of the common people.

⁷又拆毁耶和华殿里娈童的屋子，就是妇女为亚舍拉织帐子的屋子，He also tore down the quarters of the male shrine prostitutes that were in the house of the LORD, where the women had woven tapestries for Asherah.

⁸并且从犹大的城邑带众祭司来，污秽祭司烧香的邱坛，从迦巴直到别是巴，又拆毁城门旁的邱坛，这邱坛在邑宰约书亚门前，进城门的左边。Then Josiah brought all the priests from the cities of Judah and desecrated the high places, from Geba to Beersheba, where the priests had burned incense. He tore down the high places of the gates at the entrance of the gate of Joshua the governor of the city, which was to the left of the city gate.

⁹但是邱坛的祭司不登耶路撒冷耶和华的坛，只在他们弟兄中间吃无酵饼。Although the priests of the high places did not come up to the altar of the LORD in Jerusalem, they ate unleavened bread with their fellow priests.

¹⁰又污秽欣嫩子谷的陀斐特，不许人在那里使儿女经火献给摩洛；He also desecrated Topheth in the Valley of Ben-hinnom so that no one could sacrifice his son or daughter in the fire to Molech.

¹¹又将犹大列王在耶和华殿门旁、太监拿单·米勒靠近游廊的屋子、向日头所献的马废去，且用火焚烧日车。And he removed from the entrance to the house of the LORD the horses that the kings of Judah had dedicated to the sun. They were in the court near the chamber of an official named Nathan-melech. And Josiah burned up the chariots of the sun.

¹²犹大列王在亚哈斯楼顶上所筑的坛和玛拿西在耶和华殿两院中所筑的坛，王都拆毁打碎了，就把灰倒在汲沦溪中。He pulled down the altars that the kings of Judah had set up on the roof near the upper chamber of Ahaz, and the altars that Manasseh had set up in the two courtyards of the house of the LORD. The king pulverized them there and threw their dust into the Kidron Valley.

¹³从前以色列王所罗门在耶路撒冷前、邪僻山右边为西顿人可憎的神亚斯她录、摩押人可憎的神基抹、亚扪人可憎的神米勒公所筑的邱坛，王都污秽了，The king also desecrated the high places east of Jerusalem, to the south of the Mount of Corruption, which King Solomon of Israel had built for Ashtoreth the abomination of the Sidonians, for Chemosh the abomination of the Moabites, and for Milcom the abomination of the Ammonites.

¹⁴又打碎柱像，砍下木偶，将人的骨头充满了那地方。He smashed the sacred pillars to pieces, cut down the Asherah poles, and covered the sites with human bones.

拆毁伯特利的坛

¹⁵他将伯特利的坛，就是叫以色列人陷在罪里、尼八的儿子耶罗波安所筑的那坛，都拆毁焚烧，打碎成灰，并焚烧了亚舍拉。He even pulled down the altar at Bethel, the high place set up by Jeroboam son of Nebat, who had caused Israel to sin. Then he burned the high place, ground it to powder, and burned the Asherah pole.

¹⁶约西亚回头，看见山上的坟墓，就打发人将坟墓里的骸骨取出来，烧在坛上，污秽了坛，正如从前神人宣传耶和华的话。And as Josiah turned, he saw the tombs there on the hillside, and he sent someone to take the bones out of the tombs, and he burned them on the altar to defile it, according to the word of the LORD proclaimed by the man of God who had foretold these things.

¹⁷约西亚问说：“我所看见的是什么碑？”那城里的人回答说：“先前有神人从犹大来，预先说王现在向伯特利坛所行的事，这就是他的墓碑。”Then the king asked, “What is this monument I see?” And the men of the city replied, “It is the tomb of the man of God who came from Judah and proclaimed these things that you have done to the altar of Bethel.”

¹⁸约西亚说：“由他吧！不要挪移他的骸骨。”他们就不动他的骸骨，也不动从撒马利亚来那先知的骸骨。“Let him rest,” said Josiah. “Do not let anyone disturb his bones.” So they left his bones undisturbed, along with those of the prophet who had come from Samaria.

¹⁹从前以色列诸王在撒马利亚的城邑建筑邱坛的殿，惹动耶和华的怒气，现在约西亚都废去了，就如他在伯特利所行的一般；Just as Josiah had done at Bethel, so also in the cities of Samaria he removed all the shrines of the high places set up by the kings of Israel who had provoked the LORD to anger.

²⁰又将邱坛的祭司都杀在坛上，并在坛上烧人的骨头，就回耶路撒冷去了。On the altars he slaughtered all the priests of the high places, and he burned human bones on them. Then he returned to Jerusalem.

守逾越节

²¹王吩咐众民说：“你们当照这约书上所写的，向耶和华—你们的　神守逾越节。”The king commanded all the people, “Keep the Passover of the LORD your God, as it is written in this Book of the Covenant.”

²²自从士师治理以色列人和以色列王、犹大王的时候，直到如今，实在没有守过这样的逾越节；No such Passover had been observed from the days of the judges who had governed Israel through all the days of the kings of Israel and Judah.

²³只有约西亚王十八年在耶路撒冷向耶和华守这逾越节。But in the eighteenth year of Josiah’s reign, this Passover was observed to the LORD in Jerusalem.

成就律法书的话，空前绝后的王

²⁴凡犹大国和耶路撒冷所有交鬼的、行巫术的，与家中的神像和偶像，并一切可憎之物，约西亚尽都除掉，成就了祭司希勒家在耶和华殿里所得律法书上所写的话。Furthermore, Josiah removed the mediums and spiritists, the household gods and idols, and all the abominations that were seen in the land of Judah and in Jerusalem. He did this to carry out the words of the law written in the book that Hilkiah the priest had found in the house of the LORD.

²⁵在约西亚以前没有王像他尽心、尽性、尽力地归向耶和华，遵行摩西的一切律法；在他以后也没有兴起一个王像他。Neither before nor after Josiah was there any king like him, who turned to the LORD with all his heart and with all his soul and with all his strength, according to all the Law of Moses.

神的怒气仍不止息

²⁶然而，耶和华向犹大所发猛烈的怒气仍不止息，是因玛拿西诸事惹动他。Nevertheless, the LORD did not turn away from the fury of His burning anger, which was kindled against Judah because of all that Manasseh had done to provoke Him to anger.

²⁷耶和华说：“我必将犹大人从我面前赶出，如同赶出以色列人一般；我必弃掉我从前所选择的这城—耶路撒冷和我所说立我名的殿。”For the LORD had said, “I will remove Judah from My sight, just as I removed Israel. I will reject this city Jerusalem, which I chose, and the temple of which I said, ‘My Name shall be there.’”

约西亚死在米吉多

²⁸约西亚其余的事，凡他所行的都写在犹大列王记上。As for the rest of the acts of Josiah and all his accomplishments, are they not written in the Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Judah?

我去是与你们有益的

⁵现今我往差我来的父那里去，你们中间并没有人问我：‘你往哪里去？’Now, however, I am going to Him who sent Me; yet none of you asks Me, ‘Where are You going?’

⁶只因我将这事告诉你们，你们就满心忧愁。Instead, your hearts are filled with sorrow because I have told you these things.

⁷然而，我将真情告诉你们，我去是与你们有益的；我若不去，保惠师就不到你们这里来；我若去，就差他来。But I tell you the truth, it is for your benefit that I am going away. Unless I go away, the Advocate will not come to you; but if I go, I will send Him to you.

圣灵要叫世人自己责备自己

⁸他既来了，就要叫世人为罪、为义、为审判，自己责备自己。And when He comes, He will convict the world in regard to sin and righteousness and judgment:

⁹为罪，是因他们不信我；in regard to sin, because they do not believe in Me;

¹⁰为义，是因我往父那里去，你们就不再见我；in regard to righteousness, because I am going to the Father and you will no longer see Me;

¹¹为审判，是因这世界的王受了审判。and in regard to judgment, because the prince of this world has been condemned.

真理的圣灵要引导你们

¹²“我还有好些事要告诉你们，但你们现在担当不了（或译：不能领会）。I still have much to tell you, but you cannot yet bear to hear it.

¹³只等真理的圣灵来了，他要引导你们明白（原文是进入）一切的真理；因为他不是凭自己说的，乃是把他所听见的都说出来，并要把将来的事告诉你们。However, when the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all truth. For He will not speak on His own, but He will speak what He hears, and He will declare to you what is to come.

¹⁴他要荣耀我，因为他要将受于我的告诉你们。He will glorify Me by taking from what is Mine and disclosing it to you.

¹⁵凡父所有的，都是我的；所以我说，他要将受于我的告诉你们。”Everything that belongs to the Father is Mine. That is why I said that the Spirit will take from what is Mine and disclose it to you.

等不多时

¹⁶“等不多时，你们就不得见我；再等不多时，你们还要见我。”In a little while you will see Me no more, and then after a little while you will see Me.”

¹⁷有几个门徒就彼此说：“他对我们说：‘等不多时，你们就不得见我；再等不多时，你们还要见我’；又说：‘因我往父那里去。’这是什么意思呢？”Then some of His disciples asked one another, “Why is He telling us, ‘In a little while you will not see Me, and then after a little while you will see Me’ and ‘Because I am going to the Father’?”

¹⁸门徒彼此说：“他说‘等不多时’到底是什么意思呢？我们不明白他所说的话。”They kept asking, “Why is He saying, ‘a little while’? We do not understand what He is saying.”

¹⁹耶稣看出他们要问他，就说：“我说‘等不多时，你们就不得见我；再等不多时，你们还要见我’，你们为这话彼此相问吗？Aware that they wanted to question Him, Jesus said to them, “Are you asking one another why I said, ‘In a little while you will not see Me, and then after a little while you will see Me’?

忧愁要变为喜乐

²⁰我实实在在地告诉你们，你们将要痛哭、哀号，世人倒要喜乐；你们将要忧愁，然而你们的忧愁要变为喜乐。Truly, truly, I tell you, you will weep and wail while the world rejoices. You will grieve, but your grief will turn to joy.

²¹妇人生产的时候就忧愁，因为她的时候到了；既生了孩子，就不再记念那苦楚，因为欢喜世上生了一个人。A woman has pain in childbirth because her time has come; but when she brings forth her child, she forgets her anguish because of her joy that a child has been born into the world.

²²你们现在也是忧愁，但我要再见你们，你们的心就喜乐了；这喜乐也没有人能夺去。So also you have sorrow now, but I will see you again and your hearts will rejoice, and no one will take away your joy.

²³到那日，你们什么也就不问我了。我实实在在地告诉你们，你们若向父求什么，他必因我的名赐给你们。In that day you will no longer ask Me anything. Truly, truly, I tell you, whatever you ask the Father in My name, He will give you.

²⁴向来你们没有奉我的名求什么，如今你们求，就必得着，叫你们的喜乐可以满足。”Until now you have not asked for anything in My name. Ask and you will receive, so that your joy may be complete.

不再用比喻

²⁵“这些事，我是用比喻对你们说的；时候将到，我不再用比喻对你们说，乃要将父明明地告诉你们。I have spoken these things to you in figures of speech. An hour is coming when I will no longer speak to you this way, but will tell you plainly about the Father.

²⁶到那日，你们要奉我的名祈求；我并不对你们说，我要为你们求父。In that day you will ask in My name. I am not saying that I will ask the Father on your behalf.

²⁷父自己爱你们；因为你们已经爱我，又信我是从父出来的。For the Father Himself loves you, because you have loved Me and have believed that I came from God.

²⁸我从父出来，到了世界；我又离开世界，往父那里去。”I came from the Father and entered the world. In turn, I will leave the world and go to the Father.”

门徒说：我们信

²⁹门徒说：“如今你是明说，并不用比喻了。His disciples said, “See, now You are speaking plainly and without figures of speech.

³⁰现在我们晓得你凡事都知道，也不用人问你，因此我们信你是从　神出来的。”Now we understand that You know all things and that You have no need for anyone to question You. Because of this, we believe that You came from God.”

³¹耶稣说：“现在你们信吗？“Do you finally believe?” Jesus replied.

我已经胜了世界

³²看哪，时候将到，且是已经到了，你们要分散，各归自己的地方去，留下我独自一人；其实我不是独自一人，因为有父与我同在。“Look, an hour is coming and has already come when you will be scattered, each to his own home, and you will leave Me all alone. Yet I am not alone, because the Father is with Me.

³³我将这些事告诉你们，是要叫你们在我里面有平安。在世上，你们有苦难；但你们可以放心，我已经胜了世界。”I have told you these things so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take courage; I have overcome the world!”
