希西家病危痛哭祷告

¹那时，希西家病得要死。亚摩斯的儿子先知以赛亚去见他，对他说：“耶和华如此说：‘你当留遗命与你的家，因为你必死，不能活了。’”In those days Hezekiah became mortally ill. The prophet Isaiah son of Amoz came to him and said, “This is what the LORD says: ‘Put your house in order, for you are about to die; you will not recover.’”

²希西家就转脸朝墙，祷告耶和华说：Then Hezekiah turned his face to the wall and prayed to the LORD, saying,

³“耶和华啊，求你记念我在你面前怎样存完全的心，按诚实行事，又做你眼中所看为善的。”希西家就痛哭了。“Please, O LORD, remember how I have walked before You faithfully and with wholehearted devotion; I have done what is good in Your sight.” And Hezekiah wept bitterly.

⁴以赛亚出来，还没有到中院（院：或译城），耶和华的话就临到他，说：Before Isaiah had left the middle courtyard, the word of the LORD came to him, saying,

⁵“你回去告诉我民的君希西家说：耶和华—你祖大卫的　神如此说：‘我听见了你的祷告，看见了你的眼泪，我必医治你；到第三日，你必上到耶和华的殿。“Go back and tell Hezekiah the leader of My people that this is what the LORD, the God of your father David, says: ‘I have heard your prayer; I have seen your tears. I will surely heal you. On the third day from now you will go up to the house of the LORD.

⁶我必加增你十五年的寿数，并且我要救你和这城脱离亚述王的手。我为自己和我仆人大卫的缘故，必保护这城。’”I will add fifteen years to your life. And I will deliver you and this city from the hand of the king of Assyria. I will defend this city for My sake and for the sake of My servant David.’”

⁷以赛亚说：“当取一块无花果饼来。”人就取了来，贴在疮上，王便痊愈了。Then Isaiah said, “Prepare a poultice of figs.” So they brought it and applied it to the boil, and Hezekiah recovered.

日影后退十度的兆头

⁸希西家问以赛亚说：“耶和华必医治我，到第三日，我能上耶和华的殿，有什么兆头呢？”Now Hezekiah had asked Isaiah, “What will be the sign that the LORD will heal me and that I will go up to the house of the LORD on the third day?”

⁹以赛亚说：“耶和华必成就他所说的。这是他给你的兆头：你要日影向前进十度呢？是要往后退十度呢？”And Isaiah had replied, “This will be a sign to you from the LORD that He will do what He has promised: Would you like the shadow to go forward ten steps, or back ten steps?”

¹⁰希西家回答说：“日影向前进十度容易，我要日影往后退十度。”“It is easy for the shadow to lengthen ten steps,” answered Hezekiah, “but not for it to go back ten steps.”

¹¹先知以赛亚求告耶和华，耶和华就使亚哈斯的日晷向前进的日影，往后退了十度。So Isaiah the prophet called out to the LORD, and He brought the shadow back the ten steps it had descended on the stairway of Ahaz.

把财宝给巴比伦使者看

¹²那时，巴比伦王巴拉但的儿子米罗达·巴拉但听见希西家病而痊愈，就送书信和礼物给他。At that time Merodach-baladan son of Baladan king of Babylon sent letters and a gift to Hezekiah, for he had heard about Hezekiah’s illness.

¹³希西家听从使者的话，就把他宝库的金子、银子、香料、贵重的膏油，和他武库的一切军器，并他所有的财宝，都给他们看。他家中和他全国之内，希西家没有一样不给他们看的。And Hezekiah received the envoys and showed them all that was in his treasure house—the silver, the gold, the spices, and the precious oil, as well as his armory—all that was found in his storehouses. There was nothing in his palace or in all his dominion that Hezekiah did not show them.

¹⁴于是先知以赛亚来见希西家王，问他说：“这些人说什么？他们从哪里来见你？”希西家说：“他们从远方的巴比伦来。”Then the prophet Isaiah went to King Hezekiah and asked, “Where did those men come from, and what did they say to you?” “They came from a distant land,” Hezekiah replied, “from Babylon.”

¹⁵以赛亚说：“他们在你家里看见了什么？”希西家说：“凡我家中所有的，他们都看见了；我财宝中没有一样不给他们看的。”“What have they seen in your palace?” Isaiah asked. “They have seen everything in my palace,” answered Hezekiah. “There is nothing among my treasures that I did not show them.”

预言一切要被掳到巴比伦

¹⁶以赛亚对希西家说：“你要听耶和华的话，Then Isaiah said to Hezekiah, “Hear the word of the LORD:

¹⁷日子必到，凡你家里所有的，并你列祖积蓄到如今的，都要被掳到巴比伦去，不留下一样。这是耶和华说的。The time will surely come when everything in your palace and all that your fathers have stored up until this day will be carried off to Babylon. Nothing will be left, says the LORD.

¹⁸并且从你本身所生的众子，其中必有被掳去在巴比伦王宫里当太监的。”And some of your descendants, your own flesh and blood, will be taken away to be eunuchs in the palace of the king of Babylon.”

¹⁹希西家对以赛亚说：“你所说耶和华的话甚好！若在我的年日中有太平和稳固的景况，岂不是好吗？”But Hezekiah said to Isaiah, “The word of the LORD that you have spoken is good.” For he thought, “Will there not at least be peace and security in my lifetime?”

²¹希西家与他列祖同睡。他儿子玛拿西接续他作王。And Hezekiah rested with his fathers, and his son Manasseh reigned in his place.

玛拿西重建邱坛、拜偶像

¹玛拿西登基的时候年十二岁，在耶路撒冷作王五十五年。他母亲名叫协西巴。Manasseh was twelve years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem fifty-five years. His mother’s name was Hephzibah.

²玛拿西行耶和华眼中看为恶的事，效法耶和华在以色列人面前赶出的外邦人所行可憎的事。And he did evil in the sight of the LORD by following the abominations of the nations that the LORD had driven out before the Israelites.

³重新建筑他父希西家所毁坏的邱坛，又为巴力筑坛，做亚舍拉像，效法以色列王亚哈所行的，且敬拜事奉天上的万象；For he rebuilt the high places that his father Hezekiah had destroyed, and he raised up altars for Baal. He made an Asherah pole, as King Ahab of Israel had done, and he worshiped and served all the host of heaven.

⁴在耶和华殿宇中筑坛。耶和华曾指着这殿说：“我必立我的名在耶路撒冷。”Manasseh also built altars in the house of the LORD, of which the LORD had said, “In Jerusalem I will put My Name.”

⁵他在耶和华殿的两院中为天上的万象筑坛，In both courtyards of the house of the LORD, he built altars to all the host of heaven.

⁶并使他的儿子经火，又观兆，用法术，立交鬼的和行巫术的，多行耶和华眼中看为恶的事，惹动他的怒气；He sacrificed his own son in the fire, practiced sorcery and divination, and consulted mediums and spiritists. He did great evil in the sight of the LORD, provoking Him to anger.

⁷又在殿内立雕刻的亚舍拉像。耶和华曾对大卫和他儿子所罗门说：“我在以色列众支派中所选择的耶路撒冷和这殿，必立我的名，直到永远。Manasseh even took the carved Asherah pole he had made and set it up in the temple, of which the LORD had said to David and his son Solomon, “In this temple and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen out of all the tribes of Israel, I will establish My Name forever.

⁸以色列人若谨守遵行我一切所吩咐他们的和我仆人摩西所吩咐他们的一切律法，我就不再使他们挪移离开我所赐给他们列祖之地。”I will never again cause the feet of the Israelites to wander from the land that I gave to their fathers, if only they are careful to do all I have commanded them—the whole Law that My servant Moses commanded them.”

⁹他们却不听从。玛拿西引诱他们行恶，比耶和华在以色列人面前所灭的列国更甚。But the people did not listen and Manasseh led them astray, so that they did greater evil than the nations that the LORD had destroyed before the Israelites.

神宣告要降祸耶路撒冷

¹⁰耶和华借他仆人众先知说：And the LORD spoke through His servants the prophets, saying,

¹¹“因犹大王玛拿西行这些可憎的恶事比先前亚摩利人所行的更甚，使犹大人拜他的偶像，陷在罪里；“Since Manasseh king of Judah has committed all these abominations, acting more wickedly than the Amorites who preceded him, and with his idols has caused Judah to sin,

¹²所以耶和华—以色列的　神如此说：我必降祸与耶路撒冷和犹大，叫一切听见的人无不耳鸣。this is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says: ‘Behold, I am bringing such calamity upon Jerusalem and Judah that the news will reverberate in the ears of all who hear it.

¹³我必用量撒马利亚的准绳和亚哈家的线铊拉在耶路撒冷上，必擦净耶路撒冷，如人擦盘，将盘倒扣。I will stretch out over Jerusalem the measuring line used against Samaria and the plumb line used against the house of Ahab, and I will wipe out Jerusalem as one wipes out a bowl—wiping it and turning it upside down.

¹⁴我必弃掉所余剩的子民（原文是产业），把他们交在仇敌手中，使他们成为一切仇敌掳掠之物；So I will forsake the remnant of My inheritance and deliver them into the hands of their enemies. And they will become plunder and spoil to all their enemies,

¹⁵是因他们自从列祖出埃及直到如今，常行我眼中看为恶的事，惹动我的怒气。”because they have done evil in My sight and have provoked Me to anger from the day their fathers came out of Egypt until this day.’”

玛拿西流无辜人的血

¹⁶玛拿西行耶和华眼中看为恶的事，使犹大人陷在罪里，又流许多无辜人的血，充满了耶路撒冷，从这边直到那边。Moreover, Manasseh shed so much innocent blood that he filled Jerusalem from end to end, in addition to the sin that he had caused Judah to commit, doing evil in the sight of the LORD.

¹⁷玛拿西其余的事，凡他所行的和他所犯的罪都写在犹大列王记上。As for the rest of the acts of Manasseh, along with all his accomplishments and the sin that he committed, are they not written in the Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Judah?

¹⁸玛拿西与他列祖同睡，葬在自己宫院乌撒的园内；他儿子亚们接续他作王。And Manasseh rested with his fathers and was buried in his palace garden, the garden of Uzza. And his son Amon reigned in his place.

亚们行恶被杀

¹⁹亚们登基的时候年二十二岁，在耶路撒冷作王二年。他母亲名叫米舒利密，是约提巴人哈鲁斯的女儿。Amon was twenty-two years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem two years. His mother’s name was Meshullemeth daughter of Haruz; she was from Jotbah.

²⁰亚们行耶和华眼中看为恶的事，与他父亲玛拿西所行的一样；And he did evil in the sight of the LORD, as his father Manasseh had done.

²¹行他父亲一切所行的，敬奉他父亲所敬奉的偶像，He walked in all the ways of his father, and he served and worshiped the idols his father had served.

²²离弃耶和华—他列祖的　神，不遵行耶和华的道。He abandoned the LORD, the God of his fathers, and did not walk in the way of the LORD.

²³亚们王的臣仆背叛他，在宫里杀了他。Then the servants of Amon conspired against him and killed the king in his palace.

²⁴但国民杀了那些背叛亚们王的人，立他儿子约西亚接续他作王。But the people of the land killed all those who had conspired against King Amon, and they made his son Josiah king in his place.

²⁵亚们其余所行的事都写在犹大列王记上。As for the rest of the acts of Amon, along with his accomplishments, are they not written in the Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Judah?

²⁶亚们葬在乌撒的园内自己的坟墓里。他儿子约西亚接续他作王。And he was buried in his tomb in the garden of Uzza, and his son Josiah reigned in his place.

真葡萄树和枝子

¹“我是真葡萄树，我父是栽培的人。“I am the true vine, and My Father is the keeper of the vineyard.

²凡属我不结果子的枝子，他就剪去；凡结果子的，他就修理干净，使枝子结果子更多。He cuts off every branch in Me that bears no fruit, and every branch that does bear fruit, He prunes to make it even more fruitful.

³现在你们因我讲给你们的道，已经干净了。You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you.

⁴你们要常在我里面，我也常在你们里面。枝子若不常在葡萄树上，自己就不能结果子；你们若不常在我里面，也是这样。Remain in Me, and I will remain in you. Just as no branch can bear fruit by itself unless it remains in the vine, neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in Me.

⁵我是葡萄树，你们是枝子。常在我里面的，我也常在他里面，这人就多结果子；因为离了我，你们就不能做什么。I am the vine and you are the branches. The one who remains in Me, and I in him, will bear much fruit. For apart from Me you can do nothing.

⁶人若不常在我里面，就像枝子丢在外面枯干，人拾起来，扔在火里烧了。If anyone does not remain in Me, he is like a branch that is thrown away and withers. Such branches are gathered up, thrown into the fire, and burned.

⁷你们若常在我里面，我的话也常在你们里面，凡你们所愿意的，祈求，就给你们成就。If you remain in Me and My words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.

⁸你们多结果子，我父就因此得荣耀，你们也就是我的门徒了。This is to My Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, proving yourselves to be My disciples.

常在我的爱里

⁹我爱你们，正如父爱我一样；你们要常在我的爱里。As the Father has loved Me, so have I loved you. Remain in My love.

¹⁰你们若遵守我的命令，就常在我的爱里，正如我遵守了我父的命令，常在他的爱里。If you keep My commandments, you will remain in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and remain in His love.

喜乐满足，彼此相爱

¹¹“这些事我已经对你们说了，是要叫我的喜乐存在你们心里，并叫你们的喜乐可以满足。I have told you these things so that My joy may be in you and your joy may be complete.

¹²你们要彼此相爱，像我爱你们一样；这就是我的命令。This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.

为朋友舍命

¹³人为朋友舍命，人的爱心没有比这个大的。Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.

¹⁴你们若遵行我所吩咐的，就是我的朋友了。You are My friends if you do what I command you.

¹⁵以后我不再称你们为仆人，因仆人不知道主人所做的事。我乃称你们为朋友；因我从我父所听见的，已经都告诉你们了。No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not understand what his master is doing. But I have called you friends, because everything I have learned from My Father I have made known to you.

¹⁶不是你们拣选了我，是我拣选了你们，并且分派你们去结果子，叫你们的果子常存，使你们奉我的名，无论向父求什么，他就赐给你们。You did not choose Me, but I chose you. And I appointed you to go and bear fruit—fruit that will remain—so that whatever you ask the Father in My name, He will give you.

¹⁷我这样吩咐你们，是要叫你们彼此相爱。”This is My command to you: Love one another.

世界要恨你们

¹⁸“世人若恨你们，你们知道（或译：该知道），恨你们以先已经恨我了。If the world hates you, understand that it hated Me first.

¹⁹你们若属世界，世界必爱属自己的；只因你们不属世界，乃是我从世界中拣选了你们，所以世界就恨你们。If you were of the world, it would love you as its own. Instead, the world hates you, because you are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world.

²⁰你们要记念我从前对你们所说的话：‘仆人不能大于主人。’他们若逼迫了我，也要逼迫你们；若遵守了我的话，也要遵守你们的话。Remember the word that I spoke to you: ‘No servant is greater than his master.’ If they persecuted Me, they will persecute you as well; if they kept My word, they will keep yours as well.

²¹但他们因我的名要向你们行这一切的事，因为他们不认识那差我来的。But they will treat you like this because of My name, since they do not know the One who sent Me.

²²我若没有来教训他们，他们就没有罪；但如今他们的罪无可推诿了。If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not be guilty of sin. Now, however, they have no excuse for their sin.

²³恨我的，也恨我的父。Whoever hates Me hates My Father as well.

²⁴我若没有在他们中间行过别人未曾行的事，他们就没有罪；但如今连我与我的父，他们也看见也恨恶了。If I had not done among them the works that no one else did, they would not be guilty of sin; but now they have seen and hated both Me and My Father.

²⁵这要应验他们律法上所写的话，说：‘他们无故地恨我。’But this is to fulfill what is written in their Law: ‘They hated Me without reason.’

保惠师要为我作见证

²⁶但我要从父那里差保惠师来，就是从父出来真理的圣灵；他来了，就要为我作见证。When the Advocate comes, whom I will send to you from the Father—the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father—He will testify about Me.

²⁷你们也要作见证，因为你们从起头就与我同在。”And you also must testify, because you have been with Me from the beginning.

预先告诉你们，免得跌倒

¹“我已将这些事告诉你们，使你们不至于跌倒。“I have told you these things so that you will not fall away.

²人要把你们赶出会堂，并且时候将到，凡杀你们的就以为是事奉　神。They will put you out of the synagogues. In fact, a time is coming when anyone who kills you will think he is offering a service to God.

³他们这样行，是因未曾认识父，也未曾认识我。They will do these things because they have not known the Father or Me.

⁴我将这事告诉你们，是叫你们到了时候可以想起我对你们说过了。”“我起先没有将这事告诉你们，因为我与你们同在。But I have told you these things so that when their hour comes, you will remember that I told you about them. I did not tell you these things from the beginning, because I was with you.
