米迦的银子和神像

¹以法莲山地有一个人名叫米迦。Now a man named Micah from the hill country of Ephraim

²他对母亲说：“你那一千一百舍客勒银子被人拿去，你因此咒诅，并且告诉了我。看哪，这银子在我这里，是我拿去了。”他母亲说：“我儿啊，愿耶和华赐福与你！”said to his mother, “The eleven hundred shekels of silver that were taken from you and about which I heard you utter a curse—I have the silver here with me; I took it.” Then his mother said, “Blessed be my son by the LORD!”

³米迦就把这一千一百舍客勒银子还他母亲。他母亲说：“我分出这银子来为你献给耶和华，好雕刻一个像，铸成一个像。现在我还是交给你。”And when he had returned the eleven hundred shekels of silver to his mother, she said, “I wholly dedicate the silver to the LORD for my son’s benefit, to make a graven image and a molten idol. Therefore I will now return it to you.”

⁴米迦将银子还他母亲，他母亲将二百舍客勒银子交给银匠，雕刻一个像，铸成一个像，安置在米迦的屋内。So he returned the silver to his mother, and she took two hundred shekels of silver and gave them to a silversmith, who made them into a graven image and a molten idol. And they were placed in the house of Micah.

⁵这米迦有了神堂，又制造以弗得和家中的神像，分派他一个儿子作祭司。Now this man Micah had a shrine, and he made an ephod and some household idols, and ordained one of his sons as his priest.

⁶那时以色列中没有王，各人任意而行。In those days there was no king in Israel; everyone did what was right in his own eyes.

米迦雇用利未人作祭司

⁷犹大的伯利恒有一个少年人，是犹大族的利未人，他在那里寄居。And there was a young Levite from Bethlehem in Judah who had been residing within the clan of Judah.

⁸这人离开犹大的伯利恒城，要找一个可住的地方。行路的时候，到了以法莲山地，走到米迦的家。This man left the city of Bethlehem in Judah to settle where he could find a place. And as he traveled, he came to Micah’s house in the hill country of Ephraim.

⁹米迦问他说：“你从哪里来？”他回答说：“从犹大的伯利恒来。我是利未人，要找一个可住的地方。”“Where are you from?” Micah asked him. “I am a Levite from Bethlehem in Judah,” he replied, “and I am on my way to settle wherever I can find a place.”

¹⁰米迦说：“你可以住在我这里，我以你为父、为祭司。我每年给你十舍客勒银子，一套衣服和度日的食物。”利未人就进了他的家。“Stay with me,” Micah said to him, “and be my father and priest, and I will give you ten shekels of silver per year, a suit of clothes, and your provisions.” So the Levite went in

¹¹利未人情愿与那人同住；那人看这少年人如自己的儿子一样。and agreed to stay with him, and the young man became like a son to Micah.

¹²米迦分派这少年的利未人作祭司，他就住在米迦的家里。Micah ordained the Levite, and the young man became his priest and lived in his house.

¹³米迦说：“现在我知道耶和华必赐福与我，因我有一个利未人作祭司。”Then Micah said, “Now I know that the LORD will be good to me, because a Levite has become my priest.”

但支派寻地居住

¹那时，以色列中没有王。但支派的人仍是寻地居住；因为到那日子，他们还没有在以色列支派中得地为业。In those days there was no king in Israel, and the tribe of the Danites was looking for territory to occupy. For up to that time they had not come into an inheritance among the tribes of Israel.

²但人从琐拉和以实陶打发本族中的五个勇士，去仔细窥探那地，吩咐他们说：“你们去窥探那地。”他们来到以法莲山地，进了米迦的住宅，就在那里住宿。So the Danites sent out five men from their clans, men of valor from Zorah and Eshtaol, to spy out the land and explore it. “Go and explore the land,” they told them. The men entered the hill country of Ephraim and came to the house of Micah, where they spent the night.

³他们临近米迦的住宅，听出那少年利未人的口音来，就进去问他说：“谁领你到这里来？你在这里做什么？你在这里得什么？”And while they were near Micah’s house, they recognized the voice of the young Levite; so they went over and asked him, “Who brought you here? What are you doing in this place? Why are you here?”

⁴他回答说：“米迦待我如此如此，请我作祭司。”“Micah has done this and that for me,” he replied, “and he has hired me to be his priest.”

⁵他们对他说：“请你求问　神，使我们知道所行的道路通达不通达。”Then they said to him, “Please inquire of God to determine whether we will have a successful journey.”

⁶祭司对他们说：“你们可以平平安安地去，你们所行的道路是在耶和华面前的。”And the priest told them, “Go in peace. The LORD is watching over your journey.”

窥探拉亿

⁷五人就走了，来到拉亿，见那里的民安居无虑，如同西顿人安居一样。在那地没有人掌权扰乱他们；他们离西顿人也远，与别人没有来往。So the five men departed and came to Laish, where they saw that the people were living securely, like the Sidonians, quiet and unsuspecting. There was nothing lacking in the land and no oppressive ruler. And they were far away from the Sidonians and had no alliance with anyone.

⁸五人回到琐拉和以实陶，见他们的弟兄；弟兄问他们说：“你们有什么话？”When the men returned to Zorah and Eshtaol, their brothers asked them, “What did you find?”

⁹他们回答说：“起来，我们上去攻击他们吧！我们已经窥探那地，见那地甚好。你们为何静坐不动呢？要急速前往得那地为业，不可迟延。They answered, “Come on, let us go up against them, for we have seen the land, and it is very good. Why would you fail to act? Do not hesitate to go there and take possession of the land!

¹⁰你们到了那里，必看见安居无虑的民，地也宽阔。　神已将那地交在你们手中；那地百物俱全，一无所缺。”When you enter, you will come to an unsuspecting people and a spacious land, for God has delivered it into your hand. It is a place where nothing on earth is lacking.”

但人抢走米迦的神像和祭司

¹¹于是但族中的六百人，各带兵器，从琐拉和以实陶前往，So six hundred Danites departed from Zorah and Eshtaol, armed with weapons of war.

¹²上到犹大的基列·耶琳，在基列·耶琳后边安营。因此那地方名叫玛哈尼·但，直到今日。They went up and camped at Kiriath-jearim in Judah. That is why the place west of Kiriath-jearim is called Mahaneh-dan to this day.

¹³他们从那里往以法莲山地去，来到米迦的住宅。And from there they traveled to the hill country of Ephraim and came to Micah’s house.

¹⁴从前窥探拉亿地的五个人对他们的弟兄说：“这宅子里有以弗得和家中的神像，并雕刻的像与铸成的像，你们知道吗？现在你们要想一想当怎样行。”Then the five men who had gone to spy out the land of Laish said to their brothers, “Did you know that one of these houses has an ephod, household gods, a graven image, and a molten idol? Now think about what you should do.”

¹⁵五人就进入米迦的住宅，到了那少年利未人的房内问他好。So they turned aside there and went to the home of the young Levite, the house of Micah, and greeted him.

¹⁶那六百但人各带兵器，站在门口。The six hundred Danites stood at the entrance of the gate, armed with their weapons of war.

¹⁷窥探地的五个人走进去，将雕刻的像、以弗得、家中的神像，并铸成的像，都拿了去。祭司和带兵器的六百人，一同站在门口。And the five men who had gone to spy out the land went inside and took the graven image, the ephod, the household idols, and the molten idol, while the priest stood at the entrance of the gate with the six hundred armed men.

¹⁸那五个人进入米迦的住宅，拿出雕刻的像、以弗得、家中的神像，并铸成的像，祭司就问他们说：“你们做什么呢？”When they entered Micah’s house and took the graven image, the ephod, the household idols, and the molten idol, the priest said to them, “What are you doing?”

¹⁹他们回答说：“不要作声，用手捂口，跟我们去吧！我们必以你为父、为祭司。你作一家的祭司好呢？还是作以色列一族一支派的祭司好呢？”“Be quiet,” they told him. “Put your hand over your mouth and come with us and be a father and a priest to us. Is it better for you to be a priest for the house of one person or a priest for a tribe and family in Israel?”

²⁰祭司心里喜悦，便拿着以弗得和家中的神像，并雕刻的像，进入他们中间。So the priest was glad and took the ephod, the household idols, and the graven image, and went with the people.

²¹他们就转身离开那里，妻子、儿女、牲畜、财物都在前头。Putting their small children, their livestock, and their possessions in front of them, they turned and departed.

米迦追赶无功

²²离米迦的住宅已远，米迦的近邻都聚集来，追赶但人，After they were some distance from Micah’s house, the men in the houses near Micah’s house mobilized and overtook the Danites.

²³呼叫但人。但人回头问米迦说：“你聚集这许多人来做什么呢？”When they called out after them, the Danites turned to face them and said to Micah, “What is the matter with you that you have called out such a company?”

²⁴米迦说：“你们将我所做的神像和祭司都带了去，我还有所剩的吗？怎么还问我说‘做什么’呢？”He replied, “You took the gods I had made, and my priest, and went away. What else do I have? How can you say to me, ‘What is the matter with you?’”

²⁵但人对米迦说：“你不要使我们听见你的声音，恐怕有性暴的人攻击你，以致你和你的全家尽都丧命。”The Danites said to him, “Do not raise your voice against us, or angry men will attack you, and you and your family will lose your lives.”

²⁶但人还是走他们的路。米迦见他们的势力比自己强盛，就转身回家去了。So the Danites went on their way, and Micah turned to go back home, because he saw that they were too strong for him.

攻取拉亿，改名为但

²⁷但人将米迦所做的神像和他的祭司都带到拉亿，见安居无虑的民，就用刀杀了那民，又放火烧了那城，After they had taken Micah’s idols and his priest, they went to Laish, to a quiet and unsuspecting people, and they struck them with their swords and burned down the city.

²⁸并无人搭救；因为离西顿远，他们又与别人没有来往。城在平原，那平原靠近伯·利合。但人又在那里修城居住，There was no one to deliver them, because the city was far from Sidon and had no alliance with anyone; it was in a valley near Beth-rehob. And the Danites rebuilt the city and lived there.

²⁹照着他们始祖以色列之子但的名字，给那城起名叫但；原先那城名叫拉亿。They named it Dan, after their forefather Dan, who was born to Israel—though the city was formerly named Laish.

³⁰但人就为自己设立那雕刻的像。摩西的孙子、革舜的儿子约拿单，和他的子孙作但支派的祭司，直到那地遭掳掠的日子。The Danites set up idols for themselves, and Jonathan son of Gershom, the son of Moses, and his sons were priests for the tribe of Dan until the day of the captivity of the land.

³¹神的殿在示罗多少日子，但人为自己设立米迦所雕刻的像也在但多少日子。So they set up for themselves Micah’s graven image, and it was there the whole time the house of God was in Shiloh.

努力进窄门

²²耶稣往耶路撒冷去，在所经过的各城各乡教训人。Then Jesus traveled throughout the towns and villages, teaching as He made His way toward Jerusalem.

²³有一个人问他说：“主啊，得救的人少吗？”“Lord,” someone asked Him, “will only a few people be saved?” Jesus answered,

²⁴耶稣对众人说：“你们要努力进窄门。我告诉你们，将来有许多人想要进去，却是不能。“Make every effort to enter through the narrow door. For many, I tell you, will try to enter and will not be able.

门关了以后

²⁵及至家主起来关了门，你们站在外面叩门，说：‘主啊，给我们开门！’他就回答说：‘我不认识你们，不晓得你们是哪里来的！’After the master of the house gets up and shuts the door, you will stand outside knocking and saying, ‘Lord, open the door for us.’ But he will reply, ‘I do not know where you are from.’

²⁶那时，你们要说：‘我们在你面前吃过喝过，你也在我们的街上教训过人。’Then you will say, ‘We ate and drank with you, and you taught in our streets.’

²⁷他要说：‘我告诉你们，我不晓得你们是哪里来的。你们这一切作恶的人，离开我去吧！’And he will answer, ‘I tell you, I do not know where you are from. Depart from me, all you evildoers.’

²⁸你们要看见亚伯拉罕、以撒、雅各，和众先知都在　神的国里，你们却被赶到外面，在那里必要哀哭切齿了。There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth when you see Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and all the prophets in the kingdom of God, but you yourselves are thrown out.

²⁹从东、从西、从南、从北将有人来，在　神的国里坐席。People will come from east and west and north and south, and will recline at the table in the kingdom of God.

³⁰只是有在后的，将要在前；有在前的，将要在后。”And indeed, some who are last will be first, and some who are first will be last.”

那个狐狸希律

³¹正当那时，有几个法利赛人来对耶稣说：“离开这里去吧，因为希律想要杀你。”At that very hour, some Pharisees came to Jesus and told Him, “Leave this place and get away, because Herod wants to kill You.”

³²耶稣说：“你们去告诉那个狐狸说：‘今天、明天我赶鬼治病，第三天我的事就成全了。’But Jesus replied, “Go tell that fox, ‘Look, I will keep driving out demons and healing people today and tomorrow, and on the third day I will reach My goal.’

³³虽然这样，今天、明天、后天，我必须前行，因为先知在耶路撒冷之外丧命是不能的。Nevertheless, I must keep going today and tomorrow and the next day, for it is not admissible for a prophet to perish outside of Jerusalem.

为耶路撒冷哀叹

³⁴耶路撒冷啊！耶路撒冷啊！你常杀害先知，又用石头打死那奉差遣到你这里来的人。我多次愿意聚集你的儿女，好像母鸡把小鸡聚集在翅膀底下；只是你们不愿意。O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, who kills the prophets and stones those sent to her, how often I have longed to gather your children together as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were unwilling!

³⁵看哪，你们的家成为荒场留给你们。我告诉你们，从今以后你们不得再见我，直等到你们说：‘奉主名来的是应当称颂的。’”Look, your house is left to you desolate. And I tell you that you will not see Me again until you say, ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord.’”
