非利士人辖制以色列

¹以色列人又行耶和华眼中看为恶的事，耶和华将他们交在非利士人手中四十年。Again the Israelites did evil in the sight of the LORD, so He delivered them into the hand of the Philistines for forty years.

使者向玛挪亚的妻显现

²那时，有一个琐拉人，是属但族的，名叫玛挪亚。他的妻不怀孕，不生育。Now there was a man from Zorah named Manoah, from the clan of the Danites, whose wife was barren and had no children.

³耶和华的使者向那妇人显现，对她说：“向来你不怀孕，不生育，如今你必怀孕生一个儿子。The angel of the LORD appeared to the woman and said to her, “It is true that you are barren and have no children; but you will conceive and give birth to a son.

⁴所以你当谨慎，清酒浓酒都不可喝，一切不洁之物也不可吃。Now please be careful not to drink wine or strong drink, and not to eat anything unclean.

⁵你必怀孕生一个儿子，不可用剃头刀剃他的头，因为这孩子一出胎就归　神作拿细耳人。他必起首拯救以色列人脱离非利士人的手。”For behold, you will conceive and give birth to a son. And no razor shall touch his head, because the boy will be a Nazirite to God from the womb, and he will begin the deliverance of Israel from the hand of the Philistines.”

⁶妇人就回去对丈夫说：“有一个神人到我面前来，他的相貌如　神使者的相貌，甚是可畏。我没有问他从哪里来，他也没有将他的名告诉我，So the woman went and told her husband, “A man of God came to me. His appearance was like the angel of God, exceedingly awesome. I did not ask him where he came from, and he did not tell me his name.

⁷却对我说：‘你要怀孕生一个儿子，所以清酒浓酒都不可喝，一切不洁之物也不可吃；因为这孩子从出胎一直到死，必归　神作拿细耳人。’”But he said to me, ‘Behold, you will conceive and give birth to a son. Now, therefore, do not drink wine or strong drink, and do not eat anything unclean, because the boy will be a Nazirite to God from the womb until the day of his death.’”

玛挪亚求问怎样养育孩子

⁸玛挪亚就祈求耶和华说：“主啊，求你再差遣那神人到我们这里来，好指教我们怎样待这将要生的孩子。”Then Manoah prayed to the LORD, “Please, O Lord, let the man of God You sent us come to us again to teach us how to raise the boy who is to be born.”

⁹神应允玛挪亚的话；妇人正坐在田间的时候，　神的使者又到她那里，她丈夫玛挪亚却没有同她在一处。And God listened to the voice of Manoah, and the angel of God returned to the woman as she was sitting in the field; but her husband Manoah was not with her.

¹⁰妇人急忙跑去告诉丈夫说：“那日到我面前来的人，又向我显现。”The woman ran quickly to tell her husband, “Behold, the man who came to me the other day has reappeared!”

¹¹玛挪亚起来跟随他的妻来到那人面前，对他说：“与这妇人说话的就是你吗？”他说：“是我。”So Manoah got up and followed his wife. When he came to the man, he asked, “Are you the man who spoke to my wife?” “I am,” he said.

¹²玛挪亚说：“愿你的话应验！我们当怎样待这孩子，他后来当怎样呢？”Then Manoah asked, “When your words come to pass, what will be the boy’s rule of life and mission?”

¹³耶和华的使者对玛挪亚说：“我告诉妇人的一切事，她都当谨慎。So the angel of the LORD answered Manoah, “Your wife is to do everything I told her.

¹⁴葡萄树所结的都不可吃，清酒浓酒都不可喝，一切不洁之物也不可吃。凡我所吩咐的，她都当遵守。”She must not eat anything that comes from the vine, nor drink any wine or strong drink, nor eat anything unclean. She must do everything I have commanded her.”

款留使者、献上燔祭

¹⁵玛挪亚对耶和华的使者说：“求你容我们款留你，好为你预备一只山羊羔。”“Please stay here,” Manoah said to the angel of the LORD, “and we will prepare a young goat for you.”

¹⁶耶和华的使者对玛挪亚说：“你虽然款留我，我却不吃你的食物，你若预备燔祭就当献与耶和华。”原来玛挪亚不知道他是耶和华的使者。And the angel of the LORD replied, “Even if I stay, I will not eat your food. But if you prepare a burnt offering, offer it to the LORD.” For Manoah did not know that it was the angel of the LORD.

¹⁷玛挪亚对耶和华的使者说：“请将你的名告诉我，到你话应验的时候，我们好尊敬你。”Then Manoah said to the angel of the LORD, “What is your name, so that we may honor you when your word comes to pass?”

¹⁸耶和华的使者对他说：“你何必问我的名，我名是奇妙的。”“Why do you ask my name,” said the angel of the LORD, “since it is beyond comprehension?”

¹⁹玛挪亚将一只山羊羔和素祭在磐石上献与耶和华，使者行奇妙的事；玛挪亚和他的妻观看，Then Manoah took a young goat and a grain offering and offered them on a rock to the LORD. And as Manoah and his wife looked on, the LORD did a marvelous thing.

²⁰见火焰从坛上往上升，耶和华的使者在坛上的火焰中也升上去了。玛挪亚和他的妻看见，就俯伏于地。When the flame went up from the altar to the sky, the angel of the LORD ascended in the flame. When Manoah and his wife saw this, they fell facedown to the ground.

²¹耶和华的使者不再向玛挪亚和他的妻显现，玛挪亚才知道他是耶和华的使者。And when the angel of the LORD did not appear again to Manoah and his wife, Manoah realized that it had been the angel of the LORD.

²²玛挪亚对他的妻说：“我们必要死，因为看见了　神。”“We are going to die,” he said to his wife, “for we have seen God!”

²³他的妻却对他说：“耶和华若要杀我们，必不从我们手里收纳燔祭和素祭，并不将这一切事指示我们，今日也不将这些话告诉我们。”But his wife replied, “If the LORD had intended to kill us, He would not have accepted the burnt offering and the grain offering from our hands, nor would He have shown us all these things or spoken to us this way.”

参孙出生

²⁴后来妇人生了一个儿子，给他起名叫参孙。孩子长大，耶和华赐福与他。So the woman gave birth to a son and named him Samson. The boy grew, and the LORD blessed him.

²⁵在玛哈尼·但，就是琐拉和以实陶中间，耶和华的灵才感动他。And the Spirit of the LORD began to stir him at Mahaneh-dan, between Zorah and Eshtaol.

参孙要娶非利士女子

¹参孙下到亭拿，在那里看见一个女子，是非利士人的女儿。One day Samson went down to Timnah, where he saw a young Philistine woman.

²参孙上来禀告他父母说：“我在亭拿看见一个女子，是非利士人的女儿，愿你们给我娶来为妻。”So he returned and told his father and mother, “I have seen a daughter of the Philistines in Timnah. Now get her for me as a wife.”

³他父母说：“在你弟兄的女儿中，或在本国的民中，岂没有一个女子，何致你去在未受割礼的非利士人中娶妻呢？”参孙对他父亲说：“愿你给我娶那女子，因我喜悦她。”But his father and mother replied, “Can’t you find a young woman among your relatives or among any of our people? Must you go to the uncircumcised Philistines to get a wife?” But Samson told his father, “Get her for me, for she is pleasing to my eyes.”

⁴他的父母却不知道这事是出于耶和华，因为他找机会攻击非利士人。那时，非利士人辖制以色列人。(Now his father and mother did not know this was from the LORD, who was seeking an occasion to move against the Philistines; for at that time the Philistines were ruling over Israel.)

撕裂狮子，死狮中有蜜

⁵参孙跟他父母下亭拿去，到了亭拿的葡萄园，见有一只少壮狮子向他吼叫。Then Samson went down to Timnah with his father and mother and came to the vineyards of Timnah. Suddenly a young lion came roaring at him,

⁶耶和华的灵大大感动参孙，他虽然手无器械，却将狮子撕裂，如同撕裂山羊羔一样。他行这事并没有告诉父母。and the Spirit of the LORD came powerfully upon him, and he tore the lion apart with his bare hands as one would tear a young goat. But he did not tell his father or mother what he had done.

⁷参孙下去与女子说话，就喜悦她；Then Samson continued on his way down and spoke to the woman, because she was pleasing to his eyes.

⁸过了些日子，再下去要娶那女子，转向道旁要看死狮，见有一群蜂子和蜜在死狮之内，When Samson returned later to take her, he left the road to see the lion’s carcass, and in it was a swarm of bees, along with their honey.

⁹就用手取蜜，且吃且走；到了父母那里，给他父母，他们也吃了；只是没有告诉这蜜是从死狮之内取来的。So he scooped some honey into his hands and ate it as he went along. And when he returned to his father and mother, he gave some to them and they ate it. But he did not tell them that he had taken the honey from the lion’s carcass.

婚宴上的谜语

¹⁰他父亲下去见女子。参孙在那里设摆筵宴，因为向来少年人都有这个规矩。Then his father went to visit the woman, and Samson prepared a feast there, as was customary for the bridegroom.

¹¹众人看见参孙，就请了三十个人陪伴他。And when the Philistines saw him, they selected thirty men to accompany him.

¹²参孙对他们说：“我给你们出一个谜语，你们在七日筵宴之内，若能猜出意思告诉我，我就给你们三十件里衣，三十套衣裳；“Let me tell you a riddle,” Samson said to them. “If you can solve it for me within the seven days of the feast, I will give you thirty linen garments and thirty sets of clothes.

¹³你们若不能猜出意思告诉我，你们就给我三十件里衣，三十套衣裳。”他们说：“请将谜语说给我们听。”But if you cannot solve it, you must give me thirty linen garments and thirty sets of clothes.” “Tell us your riddle,” they replied. “Let us hear it.”

¹⁴参孙对他们说：吃的从吃者出来；甜的从强者出来。他们三日不能猜出谜语的意思。So he said to them: “Out of the eater came something to eat, and out of the strong came something sweet.” For three days they were unable to explain the riddle.

¹⁵到第七天，他们对参孙的妻说：“你诓哄你丈夫，探出谜语的意思告诉我们，免得我们用火烧你和你父家。你们请了我们来，是要夺我们所有的吗？”So on the fourth day they said to Samson’s wife, “Entice your husband to explain the riddle to us, or we will burn you and your father’s household to death. Did you invite us here to rob us?”

¹⁶参孙的妻在丈夫面前啼哭说：“你是恨我，不是爱我，你给我本国的人出谜语，却没有将意思告诉我。”参孙回答说：“连我父母我都没有告诉，岂可告诉你呢？”Then Samson’s wife came to him, weeping, and said, “You hate me! You do not really love me! You have posed to my people a riddle, but have not explained it to me.” “Look,” he said, “I have not even explained it to my father or mother, so why should I explain it to you?”

¹⁷七日筵宴之内，她在丈夫面前啼哭，到第七天逼着他，他才将谜语的意思告诉他妻，他妻就告诉本国的人。She wept the whole seven days of the feast, and finally on the seventh day, because she had pressed him so much, he told her the answer. And in turn she explained the riddle to her people.

¹⁸到第七天，日头未落以前，那城里的人对参孙说：有什么比蜜还甜呢？有什么比狮子还强呢？参孙对他们说：你们若非用我的母牛犊耕地，就猜不出我谜语的意思来。Before sunset on the seventh day, the men of the city said to Samson: “What is sweeter than honey? And what is stronger than a lion?” So he said to them: “If you had not plowed with my heifer, you would not have solved my riddle!”

¹⁹耶和华的灵大大感动参孙，他就下到亚实基伦，击杀了三十个人，夺了他们的衣裳，将衣裳给了猜出谜语的人。参孙发怒，就上父家去了。Then the Spirit of the LORD came mightily upon him, and he went down to Ashkelon, killed thirty of their men, took their apparel, and gave their clothes to those who had solved the riddle. And burning with anger, Samson returned to his father’s house,

²⁰参孙的妻便归了参孙的陪伴，就是作过他朋友的。and his wife was given to one of the men who had accompanied him.

狐狸烧禾稼

¹过了些日子，到割麦子的时候，参孙带着一只山羊羔去看他的妻，说：“我要进内室见我的妻。”他岳父不容他进去，Later on, at the time of the wheat harvest, Samson took a young goat and went to visit his wife. “I want to go to my wife in her room,” he said. But her father would not let him enter.

²说：“我估定你是极其恨她，因此我将她给了你的陪伴。她的妹子不是比她还美丽吗？你可以娶来代替她吧！”“I was sure that you thoroughly hated her,” said her father, “so I gave her to one of the men who accompanied you. Is not her younger sister more beautiful than she? Please take her instead.”

³参孙说：“这回我加害于非利士人不算有罪。”Samson said to them, “This time I will be blameless in doing harm to the Philistines.”

⁴于是参孙去捉了三百只狐狸（或译：野狗），将狐狸尾巴一对一对地捆上，将火把捆在两条尾巴中间，Then Samson went out and caught three hundred foxes. And he took torches, turned the foxes tail-to-tail, and fastened a torch between each pair of tails.

⁵点着火把，就放狐狸进入非利士人站着的禾稼，将堆集的禾捆和未割的禾稼，并橄榄园尽都烧了。Then he lit the torches and released the foxes into the standing grain of the Philistines, burning up the piles of grain and the standing grain, as well as the vineyards and olive groves.

⁶非利士人说：“这事是谁做的呢？”有人说：“是亭拿人的女婿参孙，因为他岳父将他的妻给了他的陪伴。”于是非利士人上去，用火烧了妇人和她的父亲。“Who did this?” the Philistines demanded. “It was Samson, the son-in-law of the Timnite,” they were told. “For his wife was given to his companion.” So the Philistines went up and burned her and her father to death.

⁷参孙对非利士人说：“你们既然这样行，我必向你们报仇才肯罢休。”And Samson told them, “Because you have done this, I will not rest until I have taken vengeance upon you.”

⁸参孙就大大击杀他们，连腿带腰都砍断了。他便下去，住在以坦磐的穴内。And he struck them ruthlessly with a great slaughter, and then went down and stayed in the cave at the rock of Etam.

驴腮骨杀一千人

⁹非利士人上去安营在犹大，布散在利希。Then the Philistines went up, camped in Judah, and deployed themselves near the town of Lehi.

¹⁰犹大人说：“你们为何上来攻击我们呢？”他们说：“我们上来是要捆绑参孙；他向我们怎样行，我们也要向他怎样行。”“Why have you attacked us?” said the men of Judah. The Philistines replied, “We have come to arrest Samson and pay him back for what he has done to us.”

¹¹于是有三千犹大人下到以坦磐的穴内，对参孙说：“非利士人辖制我们，你不知道吗？你向我们行的是什么事呢？”他回答说：“他们向我怎样行，我也要向他们怎样行。”In response, three thousand men of Judah went to the cave at the rock of Etam, and they asked Samson, “Do you not realize that the Philistines rule over us? What have you done to us?” “I have done to them what they did to me,” he replied.

¹²犹大人对他说：“我们下来是要捆绑你，将你交在非利士人手中。”参孙说：“你们要向我起誓，应承你们自己不害死我。”But they said to him, “We have come down to arrest you and hand you over to the Philistines.” Samson replied, “Swear to me that you will not kill me yourselves.”

¹³他们说：“我们断不杀你，只要将你捆绑交在非利士人手中。”于是用两条新绳捆绑参孙，将他从以坦磐带上去。“No,” they answered, “we will not kill you, but we will tie you up securely and hand you over to them.” So they bound him with two new ropes and led him up from the rock.

¹⁴参孙到了利希，非利士人都迎着喧嚷。耶和华的灵大大感动参孙，他臂上的绳就像火烧的麻一样，他的绑绳都从他手上脱落下来。When Samson arrived in Lehi, the Philistines came out shouting against him. And the Spirit of the LORD came mightily upon him. The ropes on his arms became like burnt flax, and the bonds broke loose from his hands.

¹⁵他见一块未干的驴腮骨，就伸手拾起来，用以击杀一千人。He found the fresh jawbone of a donkey, reached out his hand and took it, and struck down a thousand men.

¹⁶参孙说：我用驴腮骨杀人成堆，用驴腮骨杀了一千人。Then Samson said: “With the jawbone of a donkey I have piled them into heaps. With the jawbone of a donkey I have slain a thousand men.”

¹⁷说完这话，就把那腮骨从手里抛出去了。那地便叫拉末·利希。And when Samson had finished speaking, he cast the jawbone from his hand; and he named that place Ramath-lehi.

¹⁸参孙甚觉口渴，就求告耶和华说：“你既借仆人的手施行这么大的拯救，岂可任我渴死、落在未受割礼的人手中呢？”And being very thirsty, Samson cried out to the LORD, “You have accomplished this great deliverance through Your servant. Must I now die of thirst and fall into the hands of the uncircumcised?”

¹⁹神就使利希的洼处裂开，有水从其中涌出来。参孙喝了，精神复原；因此那泉名叫隐·哈歌利，那泉直到今日还在利希。So God opened up the hollow place in Lehi, and water came out of it. When Samson drank, his strength returned, and he was revived. That is why he named it En-hakkore, and it remains in Lehi to this day.

²⁰当非利士人辖制以色列人的时候，参孙作以色列的士师二十年。And Samson judged Israel for twenty years in the days of the Philistines.

拆下迦萨的城门

¹参孙到了迦萨，在那里看见一个妓女，就与她亲近。One day Samson went to Gaza, where he saw a prostitute and went in to spend the night with her.

²有人告诉迦萨人说：“参孙到这里来了！”他们就把他团团围住，终夜在城门悄悄埋伏，说：“等到天亮我们便杀他。”When the Gazites heard that Samson was there, they surrounded that place and lay in wait for him all night at the city gate. They were quiet throughout the night, saying, “Let us wait until dawn; then we will kill him.”

³参孙睡到半夜，起来，将城门的门扇、门框、门闩，一齐拆下来，扛在肩上，扛到希伯仑前的山顶上。But Samson lay there only until midnight, when he got up, took hold of the doors of the city gate and both gateposts, and pulled them out, bar and all. Then he put them on his shoulders and took them to the top of the mountain overlooking Hebron.

参孙与大利拉

⁴后来，参孙在梭烈谷喜爱一个妇人，名叫大利拉。Some time later, Samson fell in love with a woman in the Valley of Sorek, whose name was Delilah.

⁵非利士人的首领上去见那妇人，对她说：“求你诓哄参孙，探探他因何有这么大的力气，我们用何法能胜他，捆绑克制他。我们就每人给你一千一百舍客勒银子。”The lords of the Philistines went to her and said, “Entice him and find out the source of his great strength and how we can overpower him to tie him up and subdue him. Then each one of us will give you eleven hundred shekels of silver.”

⁶大利拉对参孙说：“求你告诉我，你因何有这么大的力气，当用何法捆绑克制你。”So Delilah said to Samson, “Please tell me the source of your great strength and how you can be tied up and subdued.”

⁷参孙回答说：“人若用七条未干的青绳子捆绑我，我就软弱像别人一样。”Samson told her, “If they tie me up with seven fresh bowstrings that have not been dried, I will become as weak as any other man.”

⁸于是非利士人的首领拿了七条未干的青绳子来，交给妇人，她就用绳子捆绑参孙。So the lords of the Philistines brought her seven fresh bowstrings that had not been dried, and she tied him up with them.

⁹有人预先埋伏在妇人的内室里。妇人说：“参孙哪，非利士人拿你来了！”参孙就挣断绳子，如挣断经火的麻线一般。这样，他力气的根由人还是不知道。While the men were hidden in her room, she called out, “Samson, the Philistines are here!” But he snapped the bowstrings like a strand of yarn seared by a flame. So the source of his strength remained unknown.

¹⁰大利拉对参孙说：“你欺哄我，向我说谎言。现在求你告诉我当用何法捆绑你。”Then Delilah said to Samson, “You have mocked me and lied to me! Now please tell me how you can be tied up.”

¹¹参孙回答说：“人若用没有使过的新绳捆绑我，我就软弱像别人一样。”He replied, “If they tie me up with new ropes that have never been used, I will become as weak as any other man.”

¹²大利拉就用新绳捆绑他，对他说：“参孙哪，非利士人拿你来了！”有人预先埋伏在内室里。参孙将臂上的绳挣断了，如挣断一条线一样。So Delilah took new ropes, tied him up with them, and called out, “Samson, the Philistines are here!” But while the men were hidden in her room, he snapped the ropes off his arms like they were threads.

¹³大利拉对参孙说：“你到如今还是欺哄我，向我说谎言。求你告诉我，当用何法捆绑你。”参孙回答说：“你若将我头上的七条发绺，与纬线同织就可以了。”Then Delilah said to Samson, “You have mocked me and lied to me all along! Tell me how you can be tied up.” He told her, “If you weave the seven braids of my head into the web of a loom and tighten it with a pin, I will become as weak as any other man.”

¹⁴于是大利拉将他的发绺与纬线同织，用橛子钉住，对他说：“参孙哪，非利士人拿你来了！”参孙从睡中醒来，将机上的橛子和纬线一齐都拔出来了。So while he slept, Delilah took the seven braids of his hair and wove them into the web. Then she tightened it with a pin and called to him, “Samson, the Philistines are here!” But he awoke from his sleep and pulled out the pin with the loom and the web.

¹⁵大利拉对参孙说：“你既不与我同心，怎么说你爱我呢？你这三次欺哄我，没有告诉我，你因何有这么大的力气。”“How can you say, ‘I love you,’” she asked, “when your heart is not with me? This is the third time you have mocked me and failed to reveal to me the source of your great strength!”

¹⁶大利拉天天用话催逼他，甚至他心里烦闷要死。Finally, after she had pressed him daily with her words and pleaded until he was sick to death,

¹⁷参孙就把心中所藏的都告诉了她，对她说：“向来人没有用剃头刀剃我的头，因为我自出母胎就归　神作拿细耳人；若剃了我的头发，我的力气就离开我，我便软弱像别人一样。”Samson told her all that was in his heart: “My hair has never been cut, because I have been a Nazirite to God from my mother’s womb. If I am shaved, my strength will leave me, and I will become as weak as any other man.”

¹⁸大利拉见他把心中所藏的都告诉了她，就打发人到非利士人的首领那里，对他们说：“他已经把心中所藏的都告诉了我，请你们再上来一次。”于是非利士人的首领手里拿着银子，上到妇人那里。When Delilah realized that he had revealed to her all that was in his heart, she sent this message to the lords of the Philistines: “Come up once more, for he has revealed to me all that is in his heart.” Then the lords of the Philistines came to her, bringing the money in their hands.

¹⁹大利拉使参孙枕着她的膝睡觉，叫了一个人来剃除他头上的七条发绺。于是大利拉克制他，他的力气就离开他了。And having lulled him to sleep on her lap, she called a man to shave off the seven braids of his head. In this way she began to subdue him, and his strength left him.

²⁰大利拉说：“参孙哪，非利士人拿你来了！”参孙从睡中醒来，心里说：“我要像前几次出去活动身体”；他却不知道耶和华已经离开他了。Then she called out, “Samson, the Philistines are here!” When Samson awoke from his sleep, he thought, “I will escape as I did before and shake myself free.” But he did not know that the LORD had departed from him.

参孙被掳推磨

²¹非利士人将他拿住，剜了他的眼睛，带他下到迦萨，用铜链拘索他；他就在监里推磨。Then the Philistines seized him, gouged out his eyes, and brought him down to Gaza, where he was bound with bronze shackles and forced to grind grain in the prison.

²²然而他的头发被剃之后，又渐渐长起来了。However, the hair of his head began to grow back after it had been shaved.

参孙最后的力量

²³非利士人的首领聚集，要给他们的神大衮献大祭，并且欢乐，因为他们说：“我们的神将我们的仇敌参孙交在我们手中了。”Now the lords of the Philistines gathered together to offer a great sacrifice to their god Dagon. They rejoiced and said, “Our god has delivered Samson our enemy into our hands.”

²⁴众人看见参孙，就赞美他们的神说：“我们的神将毁坏我们地、杀害我们许多人的仇敌交在我们手中了。”And when the people saw him, they praised their god, saying: “Our god has delivered into our hands our enemy who destroyed our land and multiplied our dead.”

²⁵他们正宴乐的时候，就说：“叫参孙来，在我们面前戏耍戏耍。”于是将参孙从监里提出来，他就在众人面前戏耍。他们使他站在两柱中间。And while their hearts were merry, they said, “Call for Samson to entertain us.” So they called Samson out of the prison to entertain them. And they stationed him between the pillars.

²⁶参孙向拉他手的童子说：“求你让我摸着托房的柱子，我要靠一靠。”Samson said to the servant who held his hand, “Lead me where I can feel the pillars supporting the temple, so I can lean against them.”

²⁷那时房内充满男女，非利士人的众首领也都在那里。房的平顶上约有三千男女观看参孙戏耍。Now the temple was full of men and women; all the lords of the Philistines were there, and about three thousand men and women were on the roof watching Samson entertain them.

²⁸参孙求告耶和华说：“主耶和华啊，求你眷念我。　神啊，求你赐我这一次的力量，使我在非利士人身上报那剜我双眼的仇。”Then Samson called out to the LORD: “O Lord GOD, please remember me. Strengthen me, O God, just once more, so that with one vengeful blow I may pay back the Philistines for my two eyes.”

²⁹参孙就抱住托房的那两根柱子：左手抱一根，右手抱一根，And Samson reached out for the two central pillars supporting the temple. Bracing himself against them with his right hand on one pillar and his left hand on the other,

³⁰说：“我情愿与非利士人同死！”就尽力屈身，房子倒塌，压住首领和房内的众人。这样，参孙死时所杀的人比活着所杀的还多。Samson said, “Let me die with the Philistines.” Then he pushed with all his might, and the temple fell on the lords and all the people in it. So in his death he killed more than he had killed in his life.

³¹参孙的弟兄和他父的全家都下去取他的尸首，抬上来葬在琐拉和以实陶中间，在他父玛挪亚的坟墓里。参孙作以色列的士师二十年。Then Samson’s brothers and his father’s family came down, carried him back, and buried him between Zorah and Eshtaol in the tomb of his father Manoah. And he had judged Israel twenty years.

你们若不悔改

¹正当那时，有人将彼拉多使加利利人的血搀杂在他们祭物中的事告诉耶稣。At that time some of those present told Jesus about the Galileans whose blood Pilate had mixed with their sacrifices.

²耶稣说：“你们以为这些加利利人比众加利利人更有罪，所以受这害吗？To this He replied, “Do you think that these Galileans were worse sinners than all the other Galileans, because they suffered this way?

³我告诉你们，不是的！你们若不悔改，都要如此灭亡！No, I tell you. But unless you repent, you too will all perish.

⁴从前西罗亚楼倒塌了，压死十八个人；你们以为那些人比一切住在耶路撒冷的人更有罪吗？Or those eighteen who were killed when the tower of Siloam collapsed on them: Do you think that they were more sinful than all the others living in Jerusalem?

⁵我告诉你们，不是的！你们若不悔改，都要如此灭亡！”No, I tell you. But unless you repent, you too will all perish.”

不结果子的无花果树

⁶于是用比喻说：“一个人有一棵无花果树栽在葡萄园里。他来到树前找果子，却找不着。Then Jesus told this parable: “A man had a fig tree that was planted in his vineyard. He went to look for fruit on it but did not find any.

⁷就对管园的说：‘看哪，我这三年来到这无花果树前找果子，竟找不着。把它砍了吧，何必白占地土呢！’So he said to the keeper of the vineyard, ‘Look, for the past three years I have come to search for fruit on this fig tree and haven’t found any. Therefore cut it down! Why should it use up the soil?’

⁸管园的说：‘主啊，今年且留着，等我周围掘开土，加上粪；‘Sir,’ the man replied, ‘leave it alone again this year, until I dig around it and fertilize it.

⁹以后若结果子便罢，不然再把它砍了。’”If it bears fruit next year, fine. But if not, you can cut it down.’”

安息日医好驼背的女人

¹⁰安息日，耶稣在会堂里教训人。One Sabbath Jesus was teaching in one of the synagogues,

¹¹有一个女人被鬼附着，病了十八年，腰弯得一点直不起来。and a woman there had been disabled by a spirit for eighteen years. She was hunched over and could not stand up straight.

¹²耶稣看见，便叫过她来，对她说：“女人，你脱离这病了！”When Jesus saw her, He called her over and said, “Woman, you are set free from your disability.”

¹³于是用两只手按着她；她立刻直起腰来，就归荣耀与　神。Then He placed His hands on her, and immediately she straightened up and began to glorify God.

¹⁴管会堂的因为耶稣在安息日治病，就气忿忿地对众人说：“有六日应当做工；那六日之内可以来求医，在安息日却不可。”But the synagogue leader was indignant that Jesus had healed on the Sabbath. “There are six days for work,” he told the crowd. “So come and be healed on those days and not on the Sabbath.”

¹⁵主说：“假冒为善的人哪，难道你们各人在安息日不解开槽上的牛、驴，牵去饮吗？“You hypocrites!” the Lord replied. “Does not each of you on the Sabbath untie his ox or donkey from the stall and lead it to water?

¹⁶况且这女人本是亚伯拉罕的后裔，被撒但捆绑了这十八年，不当在安息日解开她的绑吗？”Then should not this daughter of Abraham, whom Satan has kept bound for eighteen long years, be released from her bondage on the Sabbath day?”

¹⁷耶稣说这话，他的敌人都惭愧了；众人因他所行一切荣耀的事，就都欢喜了。When Jesus said this, all His adversaries were humiliated. And the whole crowd rejoiced at all the glorious things He was doing.

芥菜种和面酵

¹⁸耶稣说：“　神的国好像什么？我拿什么来比较呢？Then Jesus asked, “What is the kingdom of God like? To what can I compare it?

¹⁹好像一粒芥菜种，有人拿去种在园子里，长大成树，天上的飞鸟宿在它的枝上。”It is like a mustard seed that a man tossed into his garden. It grew and became a tree, and the birds of the air nested in its branches.”

²¹好比面酵，有妇人拿来藏在三斗面里，直等全团都发起来。”It is like leaven that a woman took and mixed into three measures of flour, until all of it was leavened.”
