俄陀聂拯救以色列

⁷以色列人行耶和华眼中看为恶的事，忘记耶和华—他们的　神，去事奉诸巴力和亚舍拉，So the Israelites did evil in the sight of the LORD; they forgot the LORD their God and served the Baals and the Asherahs.

⁸所以耶和华的怒气向以色列人发作，就把他们交在美索不达米亚王古珊·利萨田的手中。以色列人服事古珊·利萨田八年。Then the anger of the LORD burned against Israel, and He sold them into the hand of Cushan-rishathaim king of Aram-naharaim, and the Israelites served him eight years.

⁹以色列人呼求耶和华的时候，耶和华就为他们兴起一位拯救者救他们，就是迦勒兄弟基纳斯的儿子俄陀聂。But when the Israelites cried out to the LORD, He raised up Othniel son of Caleb’s younger brother Kenaz as a deliverer to save them.

¹⁰耶和华的灵降在他身上，他就作了以色列的士师，出去争战。耶和华将美索不达米亚王古珊·利萨田交在他手中，他便胜了古珊·利萨田。The Spirit of the LORD came upon him, and he became Israel’s judge and went out to war. And the LORD delivered Cushan-rishathaim king of Aram into the hand of Othniel, who prevailed against him.

¹¹于是国中太平四十年。基纳斯的儿子俄陀聂死了。So the land had rest for forty years, until Othniel son of Kenaz died.

摩押王伊矶伦欺压以色列

¹²以色列人又行耶和华眼中看为恶的事，耶和华就使摩押王伊矶伦强盛，攻击以色列人。Once again the Israelites did evil in the sight of the LORD. So He gave Eglon king of Moab power over Israel, because they had done evil in the sight of the LORD.

¹³伊矶伦招聚亚扪人和亚玛力人，去攻打以色列人，占据棕树城。After enlisting the Ammonites and Amalekites to join forces with him, Eglon attacked and defeated Israel, taking possession of the City of Palms.

¹⁴于是以色列人服事摩押王伊矶伦十八年。The Israelites served Eglon king of Moab eighteen years.

左手便利的以笏

¹⁵以色列人呼求耶和华的时候，耶和华就为他们兴起一位拯救者，就是便雅悯人基拉的儿子以笏；他是左手便利的。以色列人托他送礼物给摩押王伊矶伦。And again they cried out to the LORD, and He raised up Ehud son of Gera, a left-handed Benjamite, as their deliverer. So they sent him with tribute to Eglon king of Moab.

¹⁶以笏打了一把两刃的剑，长一肘，带在右腿上衣服里面。Now Ehud had made for himself a double-edged sword a cubit long. He strapped it to his right thigh under his cloak

¹⁷他将礼物献给摩押王伊矶伦（原来伊矶伦极其肥胖）；and brought the tribute to Eglon king of Moab, who was an obese man.

¹⁸以笏献完礼物，便将抬礼物的人打发走了，After Ehud had finished presenting the tribute, he ushered out those who had carried it.

¹⁹自己却从靠近吉甲凿石之地回来，说：“王啊，我有一件机密事奏告你。”王说：“回避吧！”于是左右侍立的人都退去了。But upon reaching the idols near Gilgal, he himself turned back and said, “I have a secret message for you, O king.” “Silence,” said the king, and all his attendants left him.

²⁰以笏来到王面前；王独自一人坐在凉楼上。以笏说：“我奉　神的命报告你一件事。”王就从座位上站起来。Then Ehud approached him while he was sitting alone in the coolness of his upper room. “I have a word from God for you,” Ehud said, and the king rose from his seat.

²¹以笏便伸左手，从右腿上拔出剑来，刺入王的肚腹，And Ehud reached with his left hand, pulled the sword from his right thigh, and plunged it into Eglon’s belly.

²²连剑把都刺进去了。剑被肥肉夹住，他没有从王的肚腹拔出来，且穿通了后身。Even the handle sank in after the blade, and Eglon’s fat closed in over it, so that Ehud did not withdraw the sword from his belly. And Eglon’s bowels emptied.

²³以笏就出到游廊，将楼门尽都关锁。Then Ehud went out through the porch, closing and locking the doors of the upper room behind him.

²⁴以笏出来之后，王的仆人到了，看见楼门关锁，就说：“他必是在楼上大解。”After Ehud was gone, Eglon’s servants came in and found the doors of the upper room locked. “He must be relieving himself in the cool room,” they said.

²⁵他们等烦了，见仍不开楼门，就拿钥匙开了，不料，他们的主人已死，倒在地上。So they waited until they became worried and saw that he had still not opened the doors of the upper room. Then they took the key and opened the doors—and there was their lord lying dead on the floor.

²⁶他们耽延的时候，以笏就逃跑了，经过凿石之地，逃到西伊拉；Ehud, however, had escaped while the servants waited. He passed by the idols and escaped to Seirah.

²⁷到了，就在以法莲山地吹角。以色列人随着他下了山地，他在前头引路，On arriving in Seirah, he blew the ram’s horn throughout the hill country of Ephraim. The Israelites came down with him from the hills, and he became their leader.

²⁸对他们说：“你们随我来，因为耶和华已经把你们的仇敌摩押人交在你们手中。”于是他们跟着他下去，把守约旦河的渡口，不容摩押一人过去。“Follow me,” he told them, “for the LORD has delivered your enemies the Moabites into your hand.” So they followed him down and seized the fords of the Jordan leading to Moab, and they did not allow anyone to cross over.

²⁹那时击杀了摩押人约有一万，都是强壮的勇士，没有一人逃脱。At that time they struck down about ten thousand Moabites, all robust and valiant men. Not one of them escaped.

³⁰这样，摩押就被以色列人制伏了。国中太平八十年。So Moab was subdued under the hand of Israel that day, and the land had rest for eighty years.

珊迦

³¹以笏之后，有亚拿的儿子珊迦，他用赶牛的棍子打死六百非利士人。他也救了以色列人。After Ehud came Shamgar son of Anath. And he too saved Israel, striking down six hundred Philistines with an oxgoad.

迦南王耶宾和将军西西拉

¹以笏死后，以色列人又行耶和华眼中看为恶的事，After Ehud died, the Israelites again did evil in the sight of the LORD.

²耶和华就把他们付与在夏琐作王的迦南王耶宾手中；他的将军是西西拉，住在外邦人的夏罗设。So the LORD sold them into the hand of Jabin king of Canaan, who reigned in Hazor. The commander of his forces was Sisera, who lived in Harosheth-hagoyim.

³耶宾王有铁车九百辆。他大大欺压以色列人二十年，以色列人就呼求耶和华。Then the Israelites cried out to the LORD, because Jabin had nine hundred chariots of iron, and he had harshly oppressed the Israelites for twenty years.

女先知底波拉呼召巴拉

⁴有一位女先知名叫底波拉，是拉比多的妻，当时作以色列的士师。Now Deborah, a prophetess, the wife of Lappidoth, was judging Israel at that time.

⁵她住在以法莲山地拉玛和伯特利中间，在底波拉的棕树下。以色列人都上她那里去听判断。And she would sit under the Palm of Deborah between Ramah and Bethel in the hill country of Ephraim, where the Israelites would go up to her for judgment.

⁶她打发人从拿弗他利的基低斯将亚比挪庵的儿子巴拉召了来，对他说：“耶和华—以色列的　神吩咐你说：‘你率领一万拿弗他利和西布伦人上他泊山去。She summoned Barak son of Abinoam from Kedesh in Naphtali and said to him, “Surely the LORD, the God of Israel, is commanding you: ‘Go and march to Mount Tabor, taking with you ten thousand men of Naphtali and Zebulun.

⁷我必使耶宾的将军西西拉率领他的车辆和全军往基顺河，到你那里去；我必将他交在你手中。’”And I will draw out Sisera the commander of Jabin’s army, his chariots, and his troops to the River Kishon, and I will deliver him into your hand.’”

⁸巴拉说：“你若同我去，我就去；你若不同我去，我就不去。”Barak said to her, “If you will go with me, I will go; but if you will not go with me, I will not go.”

⁹底波拉说：“我必与你同去，只是你在所行的路上得不着荣耀，因为耶和华要将西西拉交在一个妇人手里。”于是底波拉起来，与巴拉一同往基低斯去了。“I will certainly go with you,” Deborah replied, “but the road you are taking will bring you no honor, because the LORD will be selling Sisera into the hand of a woman.” So Deborah got up and went with Barak to Kedesh,

¹⁰巴拉就招聚西布伦人和拿弗他利人到基低斯，跟他上去的有一万人。底波拉也同他上去。where he summoned Zebulun and Naphtali. Ten thousand men followed him, and Deborah also went with him.

¹¹摩西岳父（或译：内兄）何巴的后裔，基尼人希百曾离开基尼族，到靠近基低斯、撒拿音的橡树旁支搭帐棚。Now Heber the Kenite had moved away from the Kenites, the descendants of Hobab the father-in-law of Moses, and had pitched his tent by the great tree of Zaanannim, which was near Kedesh.

西西拉的大军溃败

¹²有人告诉西西拉说：“亚比挪庵的儿子巴拉已经上他泊山了。”When Sisera was told that Barak son of Abinoam had gone up Mount Tabor,

¹³西西拉就聚集所有的铁车九百辆和跟随他的全军，从外邦人的夏罗设出来，到了基顺河。he summoned all nine hundred of his iron chariots and all the men with him, from Harosheth-hagoyim to the River Kishon.

¹⁴底波拉对巴拉说：“你起来，今日就是耶和华将西西拉交在你手的日子。耶和华岂不在你前头行吗？”于是巴拉下了他泊山，跟随他有一万人。Then Deborah said to Barak, “Arise, for this is the day that the LORD has delivered Sisera into your hand. Has not the LORD gone before you?” So Barak came down from Mount Tabor with ten thousand men following him.

¹⁵耶和华使西西拉和他一切车辆全军溃乱，在巴拉面前被刀杀败；西西拉下车步行逃跑。And in front of him the LORD routed with the sword Sisera, all his charioteers, and all his army. Sisera abandoned his chariot and fled on foot.

¹⁶巴拉追赶车辆、军队，直到外邦人的夏罗设。西西拉的全军都倒在刀下，没有留下一人。Then Barak pursued the chariots and army as far as Harosheth-hagoyim, and the whole army of Sisera fell by the sword; not a single man was left.

雅亿杀了西西拉

¹⁷只有西西拉步行逃跑，到了基尼人希百之妻雅亿的帐棚，因为夏琐王耶宾与基尼人希百家和好。Meanwhile, Sisera had fled on foot to the tent of Jael, the wife of Heber the Kenite, because there was peace between Jabin king of Hazor and the house of Heber the Kenite.

¹⁸雅亿出来迎接西西拉，对他说：“请我主进来，不要惧怕”；西西拉就进了她的帐棚。雅亿用被将他遮盖。Jael went out to greet Sisera and said to him, “Come in, my lord. Come in with me. Do not be afraid.” So he entered her tent, and she covered him with a blanket.

¹⁹西西拉对雅亿说：“我渴了，求你给我一点水喝。”雅亿就打开皮袋，给他奶子喝，仍旧把他遮盖。Sisera said to her, “Please give me a little water to drink, for I am thirsty.” So she opened a container of milk, gave him a drink, and covered him again.

²⁰西西拉又对雅亿说：“请你站在帐棚门口，若有人来问你说：‘有人在这里没有？’你就说：‘没有。’”“Stand at the entrance to the tent,” he said, “and if anyone comes and asks you, ‘Is there a man here?’ say, ‘No.’”

²¹西西拉疲乏沉睡。希百的妻雅亿取了帐棚的橛子，手里拿着锤子，轻悄悄地到他旁边，将橛子从他鬓边钉进去，钉入地里。西西拉就死了。But as he lay sleeping from exhaustion, Heber’s wife Jael took a tent peg, grabbed a hammer, and went silently to Sisera. She drove the peg through his temple and into the ground, and he died.

²²巴拉追赶西西拉的时候，雅亿出来迎接他说：“来吧，我将你所寻找的人给你看。”他就进入帐棚，看见西西拉已经死了，倒在地上，橛子还在他鬓中。When Barak arrived in pursuit of Sisera, Jael went out to greet him and said to him, “Come, and I will show you the man you are seeking.” So he went in with her, and there lay Sisera dead, with a tent peg through his temple.

²³这样，　神使迦南王耶宾被以色列人制伏了。On that day God subdued Jabin king of Canaan before the Israelites.

²⁴从此以色列人的手越发有力，胜了迦南王耶宾，直到将他灭绝了。And the hand of the Israelites grew stronger and stronger against Jabin king of Canaan until they destroyed him.

底波拉和巴拉的歌

¹那时，底波拉和亚比挪庵的儿子巴拉作歌，说：On that day Deborah and Barak son of Abinoam sang this song:

²因为以色列中有军长率领，百姓也甘心牺牲自己，你们应当颂赞耶和华！“When the princes take the lead in Israel, when the people volunteer, bless the LORD.

³君王啊，要听！王子啊，要侧耳而听！我要向耶和华歌唱；我要歌颂耶和华—以色列的　神。Listen, O kings! Give ear, O princes! I will sing to the LORD; I will sing praise to the LORD, the God of Israel.

⁴耶和华啊，你从西珥出来，由以东地行走。那时地震天漏，云也落雨。O LORD, when You went out from Seir, when You marched from the land of Edom, the earth trembled, the heavens poured out rain, and the clouds poured down water.

⁵山见耶和华的面就震动，西奈山见耶和华—以色列　神的面也是如此。The mountains quaked before the LORD, the One of Sinai, before the LORD, the God of Israel.

⁶在亚拿之子珊迦的时候，又在雅亿的日子，大道无人行走，都是绕道而行。In the days of Shamgar son of Anath, in the days of Jael, the highways were deserted and the travelers took the byways.

⁷以色列中的官长停职，直到我底波拉兴起，等我兴起作以色列的母。Life in the villages ceased; it ended in Israel, until I, Deborah, arose, a mother in Israel.

⁸以色列人选择新神，争战的事就临到城门。那时，以色列四万人中岂能见盾牌枪矛呢？When they chose new gods, then war came to their gates. Not a shield or spear was found among forty thousand in Israel.

⁹我心倾向以色列的首领，他们在民中甘心牺牲自己。你们应当颂赞耶和华！My heart is with the princes of Israel, with the volunteers among the people. Bless the LORD!

¹⁰骑白驴的、坐绣花毯子的、行路的，你们都当传扬！You who ride white donkeys, who sit on saddle blankets, and you who travel the road, ponder

¹¹在远离弓箭响声打水之处，人必述说耶和华公义的作为，就是他治理以色列公义的作为。那时耶和华的民下到城门。the voices of the singers at the watering places. There they shall recount the righteous acts of the LORD, the righteous deeds of His villagers in Israel. Then the people of the LORD went down to the gates:

“兴起！”各支派的响应与退缩

¹²底波拉啊，兴起！兴起！你当兴起，兴起，唱歌。亚比挪庵的儿子巴拉啊，你当奋兴，掳掠你的敌人。‘Awake, awake, O Deborah! Awake, awake, sing a song! Arise, O Barak, and take hold of your captives, O son of Abinoam!’

¹³那时有余剩的贵胄和百姓一同下来；耶和华降临，为我攻击勇士。Then the survivors came down to the nobles; the people of the LORD came down to me against the mighty.

¹⁴有根本在亚玛力人的地，从以法莲下来的；便雅悯在民中跟随你。有掌权的从玛吉下来；有持杖检点民数的从西布伦下来；Some came from Ephraim, with their roots in Amalek; Benjamin came with your people after you. The commanders came down from Machir, the bearers of the marshal’s staff from Zebulun.

¹⁵以萨迦的首领与底波拉同来；以萨迦怎样，巴拉也怎样。众人都跟随巴拉冲下平原；在流便的溪水旁有心中定大志的。The princes of Issachar were with Deborah, and Issachar was with Barak, rushing into the valley at his heels. In the clans of Reuben there was great indecision.

¹⁶你为何坐在羊圈内听群中吹笛的声音呢？在流便的溪水旁有心中设大谋的。Why did you sit among the sheepfolds to hear the whistling for the flocks? In the clans of Reuben there was great indecision.

¹⁷基列人安居在约旦河外。但人为何等在船上？亚设人在海口静坐，在港口安居。Gilead remained beyond the Jordan. Dan, why did you linger by the ships? Asher stayed at the coast and remained in his harbors.

¹⁸西布伦人是拚命敢死的；拿弗他利人在田野的高处也是如此。Zebulun was a people who risked their lives; Naphtali, too, on the heights of the battlefield.

基顺河边的大战

¹⁹君王都来争战。那时迦南诸王在米吉多水旁的他纳争战，却未得掳掠银钱。Kings came and fought; then the kings of Canaan fought at Taanach by the waters of Megiddo, but they took no plunder of silver.

²⁰星宿从天上争战，从其轨道攻击西西拉。From the heavens the stars fought; from their courses they fought against Sisera.

²¹基顺古河把敌人冲没；我的灵啊，应当努力前行。The River Kishon swept them away, the ancient river, the River Kishon. March on, O my soul, in strength!

²²那时壮马驰驱，踢跳，奔腾。Then the hooves of horses thundered—the mad galloping of his stallions.

²³耶和华的使者说：应当咒诅米罗斯，大大咒诅其中的居民；因为他们不来帮助耶和华，不来帮助耶和华攻击勇士。‘Curse Meroz,’ says the angel of the LORD. ‘Bitterly curse her inhabitants; for they did not come to help the LORD, to help the LORD against the mighty.’

愿雅亿多得福气

²⁴愿基尼人希百的妻雅亿比众妇人多得福气，比住帐棚的妇人更蒙福祉。Most blessed among women is Jael, the wife of Heber the Kenite, most blessed of tent-dwelling women.

²⁵西西拉求水，雅亿给他奶子，用宝贵的盘子给他奶油。He asked for water, and she gave him milk. In a magnificent bowl she brought him curds.

²⁶雅亿左手拿着帐棚的橛子，右手拿着匠人的锤子，击打西西拉，打伤他的头，把他的鬓角打破穿通。She reached for the tent peg, her right hand for the workman’s hammer. She struck Sisera and crushed his skull; she shattered and pierced his temple.

²⁷西西拉在她脚前曲身仆倒，在她脚前曲身倒卧；在那里曲身，就在那里死亡。At her feet he collapsed, he fell, there he lay still; at her feet he collapsed, he fell; where he collapsed, there he fell dead.

西西拉的母亲空等

²⁸西西拉的母亲从窗户里往外观看，从窗棂中呼叫说：他的战车为何耽延不来呢？他的车轮为何行得慢呢？Sisera’s mother looked through the window; she peered through the lattice and lamented: ‘Why is his chariot so long in coming? What has delayed the clatter of his chariots?’

²⁹聪明的宫女安慰她（原文是回答她），她也自言自语地说：Her wisest ladies answer; indeed she keeps telling herself,

³⁰他们莫非得财而分？每人得了一两个女子？西西拉得了彩衣为掳物，得绣花的彩衣为掠物。这彩衣两面绣花，乃是披在被掳之人颈项上的。‘Are they not finding and dividing the spoil—a girl or two for each warrior, a plunder of dyed garments for Sisera, the spoil of embroidered garments for the neck of the looter?’

³¹耶和华啊，愿你的仇敌都这样灭亡！愿爱你的人如日头出现，光辉烈烈！这样，国中太平四十年。So may all Your enemies perish, O LORD! But may those who love You shine like the sun at its brightest.” And the land had rest for forty years.

眼睛是身上的灯

³³“没有人点灯放在地窨子里，或是斗底下，总是放在灯台上，使进来的人得见亮光。No one lights a lamp and puts it in a cellar or under a basket. Instead, he sets it on a stand, so those who enter can see the light.

³⁴你眼睛就是身上的灯。你的眼睛若了亮，全身就光明；眼睛若昏花，全身就黑暗。Your eye is the lamp of your body. When your eyes are good, your whole body also is full of light. But when they are bad, your body is full of darkness.

³⁵所以，你要省察，恐怕你里头的光或者黑暗了。Be careful, then, that the light within you is not darkness.

³⁶若是你全身光明，毫无黑暗，就必全然光明，如同灯的明光照亮你。”So if your whole body is full of light, with no part of it in darkness, you will be radiant, as though a lamp were shining on you.”

在法利赛人家吃饭

³⁷说话的时候，有一个法利赛人请耶稣同他吃饭，耶稣就进去坐席。As Jesus was speaking, a Pharisee invited Him to dine with him; so He went in and reclined at the table.

³⁸这法利赛人看见耶稣饭前不洗手便诧异。But the Pharisee was surprised to see that Jesus did not first wash before the meal.

只洗净杯盘的外面

³⁹主对他说：“如今你们法利赛人洗净杯盘的外面，你们里面却满了勒索和邪恶。Then the Lord said, “Now you Pharisees clean the outside of the cup and dish, but inside you are full of greed and wickedness.

⁴⁰无知的人哪，造外面的，不也造里面吗？You fools! Did not the One who made the outside make the inside as well?

⁴¹只要把里面的施舍给人，凡物于你们就都洁净了。But give as alms the things that are within you, and behold, everything will be clean for you.

法利赛人有祸了

⁴²“你们法利赛人有祸了！因为你们将薄荷、芸香并各样菜蔬献上十分之一，那公义和爱　神的事反倒不行了。这原是你们当行的；那也是不可不行的。Woe to you Pharisees! For you pay tithes of mint, rue, and every herb, but you disregard justice and the love of God. You should have practiced the latter without neglecting the former.

⁴³你们法利赛人有祸了！因为你们喜爱会堂里的首位，又喜爱人在街市上问你们的安。Woe to you Pharisees! For you love the chief seats in the synagogues and the greetings in the marketplaces.

⁴⁴你们有祸了！因为你们如同不显露的坟墓，走在上面的人并不知道。”Woe to you! For you are like unmarked graves, which men walk over without even noticing.”

律法师也有祸了

⁴⁵律法师中有一个回答耶稣说：“夫子！你这样说也把我们糟蹋了。”One of the experts in the law told Him, “Teacher, when You say these things, You insult us as well.”

⁴⁶耶稣说：“你们律法师也有祸了！因为你们把难担的担子放在人身上，自己一个指头却不肯动。“Woe to you as well, experts in the law!” He replied. “For you weigh men down with heavy burdens, but you yourselves will not lift a finger to lighten their load.

⁴⁷你们有祸了！因为你们修造先知的坟墓，那先知正是你们的祖宗所杀的。Woe to you! For you build tombs for the prophets, but it was your fathers who killed them.

⁴⁸可见你们祖宗所做的事，你们又证明又喜欢；因为他们杀了先知，你们修造先知的坟墓。So you are witnesses consenting to the deeds of your fathers: They killed the prophets, and you build their tombs.

⁴⁹所以　神用智慧（用智慧：或译的智者）曾说：‘我要差遣先知和使徒到他们那里去，有的他们要杀害，有的他们要逼迫’，Because of this, the wisdom of God said, ‘I will send them prophets and apostles; some of them they will kill and others they will persecute.’

⁵⁰使创世以来所流众先知血的罪都要问在这世代的人身上，As a result, this generation will be charged with the blood of all the prophets that has been shed since the foundation of the world,

⁵¹就是从亚伯的血起，直到被杀在坛和殿中间撒迦利亚的血为止。我实在告诉你们，这都要问在这世代的人身上。from the blood of Abel to the blood of Zechariah, who was killed between the altar and the sanctuary. Yes, I tell you, all of it will be charged to this generation.

⁵²你们律法师有祸了！因为你们把知识的钥匙夺了去，自己不进去，正要进去的人你们也阻挡他们。”Woe to you experts in the law! For you have taken away the key to knowledge. You yourselves have not entered, and you have hindered those who were entering.”

文士和法利赛人伺机挑错

⁵³耶稣从那里出来，文士和法利赛人就极力地催逼他，引动他多说话，As Jesus went on from there, the scribes and Pharisees began to oppose Him bitterly and to ply Him with questions about many things,

⁵⁴私下窥听，要拿他的话柄。waiting to catch Him in something He might say.
