神是信实的，守约施慈爱

⁹所以，你要知道耶和华—你的　神，他是　神，是信实的　神；向爱他、守他诫命的人守约，施慈爱，直到千代；Know therefore that the LORD your God is God, the faithful God who keeps His covenant of loving devotion for a thousand generations of those who love Him and keep His commandments.

¹⁰向恨他的人当面报应他们，将他们灭绝。凡恨他的人必报应他们，决不迟延。But those who hate Him He repays to their faces with destruction; He will not hesitate to repay to his face the one who hates Him.

¹¹所以，你要谨守遵行我今日所吩咐你的诫命、律例、典章。”So keep the commandments and statutes and ordinances that I am giving you to follow this day.

听从就必蒙福

¹²“你们果然听从这些典章，谨守遵行，耶和华—你　神就必照他向你列祖所起的誓守约，施慈爱。If you listen to these ordinances and keep them carefully, then the LORD your God will keep His covenant and the loving devotion that He swore to your fathers.

¹³他必爱你，赐福与你，使你人数增多，也必在他向你列祖起誓应许给你的地上赐福与你身所生的，地所产的，并你的五谷、新酒，和油，以及牛犊、羊羔。He will love you and bless you and multiply you. He will bless the fruit of your womb and the produce of your land—your grain, new wine, and oil, the young of your herds and the lambs of your flocks—in the land that He swore to your fathers to give you.

¹⁴你必蒙福胜过万民；你们的男女没有不能生养的，牲畜也没有不能生育的。You will be blessed above all peoples; among you there will be no barren man or woman or livestock.

¹⁵耶和华必使一切的病症离开你；你所知道埃及各样的恶疾，他不加在你身上，只加在一切恨你的人身上。And the LORD will remove from you all sickness. He will not lay upon you any of the terrible diseases you knew in Egypt, but He will inflict them on all who hate you.

¹⁶耶和华—你　神所要交给你的一切人民，你要将他们除灭；你眼不可顾惜他们。你也不可事奉他们的　神，因这必成为你的网罗。You must destroy all the peoples the LORD your God will deliver to you. Do not look on them with pity. Do not worship their gods, for that will be a snare to you.

不要惧怕列国

¹⁷“你若心里说，这些国的民比我更多，我怎能赶出他们呢？You may say in your heart, “These nations are greater than we are; how can we drive them out?”

¹⁸你不要惧怕他们，要牢牢记念耶和华—你　神向法老和埃及全地所行的事，But do not be afraid of them. Be sure to remember what the LORD your God did to Pharaoh and all Egypt:

¹⁹就是你亲眼所看见的大试验、神迹、奇事，和大能的手，并伸出来的膀臂，都是耶和华—你　神领你出来所用的。耶和华—你　神必照样待你所惧怕的一切人民。the great trials that you saw, the signs and wonders, and the mighty hand and outstretched arm by which the LORD your God brought you out. The LORD your God will do the same to all the peoples you now fear.

²⁰并且耶和华—你　神必打发黄蜂飞到他们中间，直到那剩下而藏躲的人从你面前灭亡。Moreover, the LORD your God will send the hornet against them until even the survivors hiding from you have perished.

²¹你不要因他们惊恐，因为耶和华—你　神在你们中间是大而可畏的　神。Do not be terrified by them, for the LORD your God, who is among you, is a great and awesome God.

²²耶和华—你　神必将这些国的民从你面前渐渐赶出；你不可把他们速速灭尽，恐怕野地的兽多起来害你。The LORD your God will drive out these nations before you little by little. You will not be enabled to eliminate them all at once, or the wild animals would multiply around you.

²³耶和华—你　神必将他们交给你，大大地扰乱他们，直到他们灭绝了；But the LORD your God will give them over to you and throw them into great confusion, until they are destroyed.

²⁴又要将他们的君王交在你手中，你就使他们的名从天下消灭。必无一人能在你面前站立得住，直到你将他们灭绝了。He will hand their kings over to you, and you will wipe out their names from under heaven. No one will be able to stand against you; you will annihilate them.

²⁵他们雕刻的神像，你们要用火焚烧；其上的金银，你不可贪图，也不可收取，免得你因此陷入网罗；这原是耶和华—你　神所憎恶的。You must burn up the images of their gods; do not covet the silver and gold that is on them or take it for yourselves, or you will be ensnared by it; for it is detestable to the LORD your God.

²⁶可憎的物，你不可带进家去；不然，你就成了当毁灭的，与那物一样。你要十分厌恶，十分憎嫌，因为这是当毁灭的物。”And you must not bring any detestable thing into your house, or you, like it, will be set apart for destruction. You are to utterly detest and abhor it, because it is set apart for destruction.

旷野四十年的苦炼

¹“我今日所吩咐的一切诫命，你们要谨守遵行，好叫你们存活，人数增多，且进去得耶和华向你们列祖起誓应许的那地。You must carefully follow every commandment I am giving you today, so that you may live and multiply, and enter and possess the land that the LORD swore to give your fathers.

²你也要记念耶和华—你的　神在旷野引导你这四十年，是要苦炼你，试验你，要知道你心内如何，肯守他的诫命不肯。Remember that these forty years the LORD your God led you all the way in the wilderness, so that He might humble you and test you in order to know what was in your heart, whether or not you would keep His commandments.

³他苦炼你，任你饥饿，将你和你列祖所不认识的吗哪赐给你吃，使你知道，人活着不是单靠食物，乃是靠耶和华口里所出的一切话。He humbled you, and in your hunger He gave you manna to eat, which neither you nor your fathers had known, so that you might understand that man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of the LORD.

⁴这四十年，你的衣服没有穿破，你的脚也没有肿。Your clothing did not wear out and your feet did not swell during these forty years.

⁵你当心里思想，耶和华—你　神管教你，好像人管教儿子一样。So know in your heart that just as a man disciplines his son, so the LORD your God disciplines you.

⁶你要谨守耶和华—你　神的诫命，遵行他的道，敬畏他。Therefore you shall keep the commandments of the LORD your God, walking in His ways and fearing Him.

神领你进入美地

⁷因为耶和华—你　神领你进入美地，那地有河，有泉，有源，从山谷中流出水来。For the LORD your God is bringing you into a good land, a land of brooks and fountains and springs that flow through the valleys and hills;

⁸那地有小麦、大麦、葡萄树、无花果树、石榴树、橄榄树，和蜜。a land of wheat, barley, vines, fig trees, and pomegranates; a land of olive oil and honey;

⁹你在那地不缺食物，一无所缺。那地的石头是铁，山内可以挖铜。a land where you will eat food without scarcity, where you will lack nothing; a land whose rocks are iron and whose hills are ready to be mined for copper.

¹⁰你吃得饱足，就要称颂耶和华—你的　神，因他将那美地赐给你了。”When you eat and are satisfied, you are to bless the LORD your God for the good land that He has given you.

吃饱了，不可心高气傲

¹¹“你要谨慎，免得忘记耶和华—你的　神，不守他的诫命、典章、律例，就是我今日所吩咐你的；Be careful not to forget the LORD your God by failing to keep His commandments and ordinances and statutes, which I am giving you this day.

¹²恐怕你吃得饱足，建造美好的房屋居住，Otherwise, when you eat and are satisfied, when you build fine houses in which to dwell,

¹³你的牛羊加多，你的金银增添，并你所有的全都加增，and when your herds and flocks grow large and your silver and gold increase and all that you have is multiplied,

¹⁴你就心高气傲，忘记耶和华—你的　神，就是将你从埃及地为奴之家领出来的，then your heart will become proud, and you will forget the LORD your God who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery.

¹⁵引你经过那大而可怕的旷野，那里有火蛇、蝎子、干旱无水之地。他曾为你使水从坚硬的磐石中流出来，He led you through the vast and terrifying wilderness with its venomous snakes and scorpions, a thirsty and waterless land. He brought you water from the rock of flint.

¹⁶又在旷野将你列祖所不认识的吗哪赐给你吃，是要苦炼你，试验你，叫你终久享福；He fed you in the wilderness with manna that your fathers had not known, in order to humble you and test you, so that in the end He might cause you to prosper.

¹⁷恐怕你心里说：‘这货财是我力量、我能力得来的。’You might say in your heart, “The power and strength of my hands have made this wealth for me.”

¹⁸你要记念耶和华—你的　神，因为得货财的力量是他给你的，为要坚定他向你列祖起誓所立的约，像今日一样。But remember that it is the LORD your God who gives you the power to gain wealth, in order to confirm His covenant that He swore to your fathers even to this day.

¹⁹你若忘记耶和华—你的　神，随从别神，事奉敬拜，你们必定灭亡；这是我今日警戒你们的。If you ever forget the LORD your God and go after other gods to worship and bow down to them, I testify against you today that you will surely perish.

²⁰耶和华在你们面前怎样使列国的民灭亡，你们也必照样灭亡，因为你们不听从耶和华—你们　神的话。”Like the nations that the LORD has destroyed before you, so you will perish if you do not obey the LORD your God.

得地不是因为你的义

¹“以色列啊，你当听！你今日要过约旦河，进去赶出比你强大的国民，得着广大坚固、高得顶天的城邑。Hear, O Israel: Today you are about to cross the Jordan to go in and dispossess nations greater and stronger than you, with large cities fortified to the heavens.

²那民是亚衲族的人，又大又高，是你所知道的；也曾听见有人指着他们说：‘谁能在亚衲族人面前站立得住呢？’The people are strong and tall, the descendants of the Anakim. You know about them, and you have heard it said, “Who can stand up to the sons of Anak?”

³你今日当知道，耶和华—你的　神在你前面过去，如同烈火，要灭绝他们，将他们制伏在你面前。这样，你就要照耶和华所说的赶出他们，使他们速速灭亡。But understand that today the LORD your God goes across ahead of you as a consuming fire; He will destroy them and subdue them before you. And you will drive them out and annihilate them swiftly, as the LORD has promised you.

⁴“耶和华—你的　神将这些国民从你面前撵出以后，你心里不可说：‘耶和华将我领进来得这地是因我的义。’其实，耶和华将他们从你面前赶出去是因他们的恶。When the LORD your God has driven them out before you, do not say in your heart, “Because of my righteousness the LORD has brought me in to possess this land.” Rather, the LORD is driving out these nations before you because of their wickedness.

⁵你进去得他们的地，并不是因你的义，也不是因你心里正直，乃是因这些国民的恶，耶和华—你的　神将他们从你面前赶出去，又因耶和华要坚定他向你列祖亚伯拉罕、以撒、雅各起誓所应许的话。It is not because of your righteousness or uprightness of heart that you are going in to possess their land, but it is because of their wickedness that the LORD your God is driving out these nations before you, to keep the promise He swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

⁶“你当知道，耶和华—你　神将这美地赐你为业，并不是因你的义；你本是硬着颈项的百姓。Understand, then, that it is not because of your righteousness that the LORD your God is giving you this good land to possess, for you are a stiff-necked people.

何烈山的金牛犊

⁷你当记念不忘，你在旷野怎样惹耶和华—你　神发怒。自从你出了埃及地的那日，直到你们来到这地方，你们时常悖逆耶和华。Remember this, and never forget how you provoked the LORD your God in the wilderness. From the day you left the land of Egypt until you reached this place, you have been rebelling against the LORD.

⁸你们在何烈山又惹耶和华发怒；他恼怒你们，要灭绝你们。At Horeb you provoked the LORD, and He was angry enough to destroy you.

⁹我上了山，要领受两块石版，就是耶和华与你们立约的版。那时我在山上住了四十昼夜，没有吃饭，也没有喝水。When I went up on the mountain to receive the tablets of stone, the tablets of the covenant that the LORD made with you, I stayed on the mountain forty days and forty nights. I ate no bread and drank no water.

¹⁰耶和华把那两块石版交给我，是　神用指头写的。版上所写的是照耶和华在大会的日子、在山上、从火中对你们所说的一切话。Then the LORD gave me the two stone tablets, inscribed by the finger of God with the exact words that the LORD spoke to you out of the fire on the mountain on the day of the assembly.

¹¹过了四十昼夜，耶和华把那两块石版，就是约版，交给我。And at the end of forty days and forty nights, the LORD gave me the two stone tablets, the tablets of the covenant.

¹²对我说：‘你起来，赶快下去！因为你从埃及领出来的百姓已经败坏了自己；他们快快地偏离了我所吩咐的道，为自己铸成了偶像。’And the LORD said to me, “Get up and go down from here at once, for your people, whom you brought out of Egypt, have corrupted themselves. How quickly they have turned aside from the way that I commanded them! They have made for themselves a molten image.”

¹³“耶和华又对我说：‘我看这百姓是硬着颈项的百姓。The LORD also said to me, “I have seen this people, and they are indeed a stiff-necked people.

¹⁴你且由着我，我要灭绝他们，将他们的名从天下涂抹，使你的后裔比他们成为更大更强的国。’Leave Me alone, so that I may destroy them and blot out their name from under heaven. Then I will make you into a nation mightier and greater than they are.”

¹⁵于是我转身下山，山被火烧着，两块约版在我两手之中。So I went back down the mountain while it was blazing with fire, with the two tablets of the covenant in my hands.

¹⁶我一看见你们得罪了耶和华—你们的　神，铸成了牛犊，快快地偏离了耶和华所吩咐你们的道，And I saw how you had sinned against the LORD your God; you had made for yourselves a molten calf. You had turned aside quickly from the way that the LORD had commanded you.

¹⁷我就把那两块版从我手中扔下去，在你们眼前摔碎了。So I took the two tablets and threw them out of my hands, shattering them before your eyes.

¹⁸因你们所犯的一切罪，行了耶和华眼中看为恶的事，惹他发怒，我就像从前俯伏在耶和华面前四十昼夜，没有吃饭，也没有喝水。Then I fell down before the LORD for forty days and forty nights, as I had done the first time. I did not eat bread or drink water because of all the sin you had committed in doing what was evil in the sight of the LORD and provoking Him to anger.

¹⁹我因耶和华向你们大发烈怒，要灭绝你们，就甚害怕；但那次耶和华又应允了我。For I was afraid of the anger and wrath that the LORD had directed against you, enough to destroy you. But the LORD listened to me this time as well.

²⁰耶和华也向亚伦甚是发怒，要灭绝他；那时我又为亚伦祈祷。The LORD was angry enough with Aaron to destroy him, but at that time I also prayed for Aaron.

²¹我把那叫你们犯罪所铸的牛犊用火焚烧，又捣碎磨得很细，以致细如灰尘，我就把这灰尘撒在从山上流下来的溪水中。And I took that sinful thing, the calf you had made, and burned it in the fire. Then I crushed it and ground it to powder as fine as dust, and I cast it into the stream that came down from the mountain.

一再惹神发怒

²²“你们在他备拉、玛撒、基博罗·哈他瓦又惹耶和华发怒。You continued to provoke the LORD at Taberah, at Massah, and at Kibroth-hattaavah.

²³耶和华打发你们离开加低斯·巴尼亚，说：‘你们上去得我所赐给你们的地。’那时你们违背了耶和华—你们　神的命令，不信服他，不听从他的话。And when the LORD sent you out from Kadesh-barnea, He said, “Go up and possess the land that I have given you.” But you rebelled against the command of the LORD your God. You neither believed Him nor obeyed Him.

²⁴自从我认识你们以来，你们常常悖逆耶和华。You have been rebelling against the LORD since the day I came to know you.

摩西俯伏代求

²⁵“我因耶和华说要灭绝你们，就在耶和华面前照旧俯伏四十昼夜。So I fell down before the LORD for forty days and forty nights, because the LORD had said He would destroy you.

²⁶我祈祷耶和华说：‘主耶和华啊，求你不要灭绝你的百姓。他们是你的产业，是你用大力救赎的，用大能从埃及领出来的。And I prayed to the LORD and said, “O Lord GOD, do not destroy Your people, Your inheritance, whom You redeemed through Your greatness and brought out of Egypt with a mighty hand.

²⁷求你记念你的仆人亚伯拉罕、以撒、雅各，不要想念这百姓的顽梗、邪恶、罪过，Remember Your servants Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Overlook the stubbornness of this people and the wickedness of their sin.

²⁸免得你领我们出来的那地之人说，耶和华因为不能将这百姓领进他所应许之地，又因恨他们，所以领他们出去，要在旷野杀他们。Otherwise, those in the land from which You brought us out will say, ‘Because the LORD was not able to bring them into the land He had promised them, and because He hated them, He has brought them out to kill them in the wilderness.’

²⁹其实他们是你的百姓，你的产业，是你用大能和伸出来的膀臂领出来的。’”But they are Your people, Your inheritance, whom You brought out by Your great power and outstretched arm.”

重新凿出两块石版

¹“那时，耶和华吩咐我说：‘你要凿出两块石版，和先前的一样，上山到我这里来，又要做一木柜。At that time the LORD said to me, “Chisel out two stone tablets like the originals, come up to Me on the mountain, and make an ark of wood.

²你先前摔碎的那版，其上的字我要写在这版上；你要将这版放在柜中。’And I will write on the tablets the words that were on the first tablets, which you broke; and you are to place them in the ark.”

³于是我用皂荚木做了一柜，又凿出两块石版，和先前的一样，手里拿这两块版上山去了。So I made an ark of acacia wood, chiseled out two stone tablets like the originals, and went up the mountain with the two tablets in my hands.

⁴耶和华将那大会之日、在山上从火中所传与你们的十条诫，照先前所写的，写在这版上，将版交给我了。And the LORD wrote on the tablets what had been written previously, the Ten Commandments that He had spoken to you on the mountain out of the fire on the day of the assembly. The LORD gave them to me,

⁵我转身下山，将这版放在我所做的柜中，现今还在那里，正如耶和华所吩咐我的。”and I went back down the mountain and placed the tablets in the ark I had made, as the LORD had commanded me; and there they have remained.

亚伦去世，利未人的职分

⁶（以色列人从比罗比尼·亚干（或译：亚干井）起行，到了摩西拉。亚伦死在那里，就葬在那里。他儿子以利亚撒接续他供祭司的职分。The Israelites traveled from Beeroth Bene-jaakan to Moserah, where Aaron died and was buried, and Eleazar his son succeeded him as priest.

⁷他们从那里起行，到了谷歌大，又从谷歌大到了有溪水之地的约巴他。From there they traveled to Gudgodah, and from Gudgodah to Jotbathah, a land with streams of water.

⁸那时，耶和华将利未支派分别出来，抬耶和华的约柜，又侍立在耶和华面前事奉他，奉他的名祝福，直到今日。At that time the LORD set apart the tribe of Levi to carry the ark of the covenant of the LORD, to stand before the LORD to serve Him, and to pronounce blessings in His name, as they do to this day.

⁹所以利未人在他弟兄中无分无业，耶和华是他的产业，正如耶和华—你　神所应许他的。）That is why Levi has no portion or inheritance among his brothers; the LORD is his inheritance, as the LORD your God promised him.

神应允摩西，吩咐他领百姓前行

¹⁰“我又像从前在山上住了四十昼夜。那次耶和华也应允我，不忍将你灭绝。I stayed on the mountain forty days and forty nights, like the first time, and that time the LORD again listened to me and agreed not to destroy you.

¹¹耶和华吩咐我说：‘你起来引导这百姓，使他们进去得我向他们列祖起誓应许所赐之地。’”Then the LORD said to me, “Get up. Continue your journey ahead of the people, that they may enter and possess the land that I swore to their fathers to give them.”

天使向马利亚报信

²⁶到了第六个月，天使加百列奉　神的差遣往加利利的一座城去（这城名叫拿撒勒），In the sixth month, God sent the angel Gabriel to a town in Galilee called Nazareth,

²⁷到一个童女那里，是已经许配大卫家的一个人，名叫约瑟。童女的名字叫马利亚；to a virgin pledged in marriage to a man named Joseph, who was of the house of David. And the virgin’s name was Mary.

²⁸天使进去，对她说：“蒙大恩的女子，我问你安，主和你同在了！”The angel appeared to her and said, “Greetings, you who are highly favored! The Lord is with you.”

²⁹马利亚因这话就很惊慌，又反复思想这样问安是什么意思。Mary was greatly troubled at his words and wondered what kind of greeting this might be.

³⁰天使对她说：“马利亚，不要怕！你在　神面前已经蒙恩了。So the angel told her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God.

³¹你要怀孕生子，可以给他起名叫耶稣。Behold, you will conceive and give birth to a son, and you are to give Him the name Jesus.

³²他要为大，称为至高者的儿子；主　神要把他祖大卫的位给他。He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David,

³³他要作雅各家的王，直到永远；他的国也没有穷尽。”and He will reign over the house of Jacob forever. His kingdom will never end!”

圣灵要临到你身上

³⁴马利亚对天使说：“我没有出嫁，怎么有这事呢？”“How can this be,” Mary asked the angel, “since I am a virgin?”

³⁵天使回答说：“圣灵要临到你身上，至高者的能力要荫庇你，因此所要生的圣者必称为　神的儿子（或译：所要生的，必称为圣，称为　神的儿子）。The angel replied, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the Holy One to be born will be called the Son of God.

³⁶况且你的亲戚伊利莎白，在年老的时候也怀了男胎，就是那素来称为不生育的，现在有孕六个月了。Look, even Elizabeth your relative has conceived a son in her old age, and she who was called barren is in her sixth month.

³⁷因为，出于　神的话，没有一句不带能力的。”For no word from God will ever fail.”

³⁸马利亚说：“我是主的使女，情愿照你的话成就在我身上。”天使就离开她去了。“I am the Lord’s servant,” Mary answered. “May it happen to me according to your word.” Then the angel left her.

马利亚探望伊利莎白

³⁹那时候，马利亚起身，急忙往山地里去，来到犹大的一座城；In those days Mary got ready and hurried to a town in the hill country of Judah,

⁴⁰进了撒迦利亚的家，问伊利莎白安。where she entered the home of Zechariah and greeted Elizabeth.

⁴¹伊利莎白一听马利亚问安，所怀的胎就在腹里跳动。伊利莎白且被圣灵充满，When Elizabeth heard Mary’s greeting, the baby leaped in her womb, and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit.

⁴²高声喊着说：“你在妇女中是有福的！你所怀的胎也是有福的！In a loud voice she exclaimed, “Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb!

⁴³我主的母到我这里来，这是从哪里得的呢？And why am I so honored, that the mother of my Lord should come to me?

⁴⁴因为你问安的声音一入我耳，我腹里的胎就欢喜跳动。For as soon as the sound of your greeting reached my ears, the baby in my womb leaped for joy.

⁴⁵这相信的女子是有福的！因为主对她所说的话都要应验。”Blessed is she who has believed that the Lord’s word to her will be fulfilled.”

马利亚赞美神

⁴⁶马利亚说：我心尊主为大；Then Mary said: “My soul magnifies the Lord,

⁴⁷我灵以　神我的救主为乐；and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior!

⁴⁸因为他顾念他使女的卑微；从今以后，万代要称我有福。For He has looked with favor on the humble state of His servant. From now on all generations will call me blessed.

⁴⁹那有权能的，为我成就了大事；他的名为圣。For the Mighty One has done great things for me. Holy is His name.

⁵⁰他怜悯敬畏他的人，直到世世代代。His mercy extends to those who fear Him, from generation to generation.

神叫卑贱的升高

⁵¹他用膀臂施展大能；那狂傲的人正心里妄想就被他赶散了。He has performed mighty deeds with His arm; He has scattered those who are proud in the thoughts of their hearts.

⁵²他叫有权柄的失位，叫卑贱的升高；He has brought down rulers from their thrones, but has exalted the humble.

⁵³叫饥饿的得饱美食，叫富足的空手回去。He has filled the hungry with good things, but has sent the rich away empty.

⁵⁴他扶助了他的仆人以色列，He has helped His servant Israel, remembering to be merciful,

⁵⁵为要记念亚伯拉罕和他的后裔，施怜悯直到永远，正如从前对我们列祖所说的话。as He promised to our fathers, to Abraham and his descendants forever.”

⁵⁶马利亚和伊利莎白同住，约有三个月，就回家去了。Mary stayed with Elizabeth for about three months and then returned home.
