1你們作主人的，要公公平平地待僕人，因為知道你們也有一位主在天上。Masters, supply your slaves with what is right and fair, since you know that you also have a Master in heaven.
2你們要恆切禱告，在此警醒感恩。Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful,
3也要為我們禱告，求 神給我們開傳道的門，能以講基督的奧祕（我為此被捆鎖），as you pray also for us, that God may open to us a door for the word, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ, for which I am in chains.
4叫我按著所該說的話將這奧祕出來。Pray that I may declare it clearly, as I should.
5你們要，用智慧與外人交往。Act wisely toward outsiders, redeeming the time.
6你們的言語要常常帶著和氣，好像，就可知道該怎樣回答各人。Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone.
7有我親愛的兄弟要將我一切的事都告訴你們。他是忠心的執事，和我一同作主的僕人。Tychicus will tell you all the news about me. He is a beloved brother, a faithful minister, and a fellow servant in the Lord.
8我特意打發他到你們那裡去，好叫你們知道我們的，又叫他安慰你們的心。I have sent him to you for this very purpose, that you may know about us, and that he may encourage your hearts.
9我又打發一位親愛忠心的兄弟同去；他也是你們那裡的人。他們要把這裡一切的事都告訴你們。With him I am sending Onesimus, our faithful and beloved brother, who is one of you. They will tell you about everything here.
10與我一同的亞里達古問你們安。巴拿巴的表弟也問你們安。（說到這馬可，你們已經受了吩咐；他若到了你們那裡，你們就接待他。）My fellow prisoner Aristarchus sends you greetings, as does Mark the cousin of Barnabas. You have already received instructions about him: If he comes to you, welcome him.

13他為你們和並希拉坡里的弟兄多多地勞苦，這是我可以給他作見證的。For I testify about him that he goes to great pains for you and for those at Laodicea and Hierapolis.
14所親愛的醫生和問你們安。Luke, the beloved physician, and Demas send you greetings.
15請問老底嘉的弟兄和寧法，並她家裡的教會安。Greet the brothers in Laodicea, as well as Nympha and the church that meets at her house.
16你們念了這書信，便交給老底嘉的教會，叫他們也念；你們也要念從老底嘉來的書信。After this letter has been read among you, make sure that it is also read in the church of the Laodiceans, and that you in turn read the letter from Laodicea.
17要對亞基布說：「務要謹慎，盡你從主所受的。」Tell Archippus: “See to it that you complete the ministry you have received in the Lord.”
18我－保羅問你們安。你們要記念我的。願恩惠常與你們同在！This greeting is in my own hand—Paul. Remember my chains. Grace be with you.
