大衛想為約櫃建殿

¹大衛住在自己宮中，對先知拿單說：「看哪，我住在香柏木的宮中，耶和華的約櫃反在幔子裡。」After David had settled into his palace, he said to Nathan the prophet, “Here I am, living in a house of cedar, while the ark of the covenant of the LORD is under a tent.”

²拿單對大衛說：「你可以照你的心意而行，因為　神與你同在。」And Nathan replied to David, “Do all that is in your heart, for God is with you.”

神藉拿單回覆

³當夜，　神的話臨到拿單，說：But that night the word of God came to Nathan, saying,

⁴「你去告訴我僕人大衛，說耶和華如此說：『你不可建造殿宇給我居住。“Go and tell My servant David that this is what the LORD says: You are not the one to build Me a house in which to dwell.

⁵自從我領以色列人出埃及，直到今日，我未曾住過殿宇，乃從這會幕到那會幕，從這帳幕到那帳幕。For I have not dwelt in a house from the day I brought Israel up out of Egypt until this day, but I have moved from tent to tent and dwelling to dwelling.

⁶凡我同以色列人所走的地方，我何曾向以色列的一個士師，就是我吩咐牧養我民的說：你為何不給我建造香柏木的殿宇呢？』In all My journeys with all the Israelites, have I ever asked any of the leaders I appointed to shepherd My people, ‘Why haven’t you built Me a house of cedar?’

神要為大衛建立家室

⁷現在你要告訴我僕人大衛，說萬軍之耶和華如此說：『我從羊圈中將你召來，叫你不再跟從羊群，立你作我民以色列的君。Now then, you are to tell My servant David that this is what the LORD of Hosts says: I took you from the pasture, from following the flock, to be the ruler over My people Israel.

⁸你無論往哪裡去，我常與你同在，剪除你的一切仇敵；我必使你得大名，好像世上大大有名的人一樣。I have been with you wherever you have gone, and I have cut off all your enemies from before you. Now I will make for you a name like that of the greatest in the land.

⁹我必為我民以色列選定一個地方，栽培他們，使他們住自己的地方，不再遷移；凶惡之子也不像從前擾害他們，And I will provide a place for My people Israel and will plant them so that they may dwell in a place of their own and be disturbed no more. No longer will the sons of wickedness oppress them as they did at the beginning

¹⁰並不像我命士師治理我民以色列的時候一樣。我必治服你的一切仇敵，並且我─耶和華應許你，必為你建立家室。and have done since the day I appointed judges over My people Israel. And I will subdue all your enemies. Moreover, I declare to you that the LORD will build a house for you.

後裔建殿，國位永遠堅定

¹¹你壽數滿足歸你列祖的時候，我必使你的後裔接續你的位，我也必堅定他的國。And when your days are fulfilled and you go to be with your fathers, I will raise up your descendant after you, one of your own sons, and I will establish his kingdom.

¹²他必為我建造殿宇；我必堅定他的國位直到永遠。He will build a house for Me, and I will establish his throne forever.

¹³我要作他的父，他要作我的子；並不使我的慈愛離開他，像離開在你以前的掃羅一樣。I will be his Father, and he will be My son. And I will never remove My loving devotion from him as I removed it from your predecessor.

¹⁴我卻要將他永遠堅立在我家裡和我國裡；他的國位也必堅定，直到永遠。』」But I will set him over My house and My kingdom forever, and his throne will be established forever.”

¹⁵拿單就按這一切話，照這默示告訴大衛。So Nathan relayed to David all the words of this entire revelation.

大衛感恩禱告

¹⁶於是大衛王進去，坐在耶和華面前，說：「耶和華　神啊，我是誰，我的家算甚麼，你竟使我到這地步呢？Then King David went in, sat before the LORD, and said, “Who am I, O LORD God, and what is my house, that You have brought me this far?

¹⁷神啊，這在你眼中還看為小，又應許你僕人的家至於久遠。耶和華　神啊，你看顧我好像看顧高貴的人。And as if this was a small thing in Your eyes, O God, You have spoken about the future of the house of Your servant and have regarded me as a man of great distinction, O LORD God.

¹⁸你加於僕人的尊榮，我還有何言可說呢？因為你知道你的僕人。What more can David say to You for honoring Your servant? For You know Your servant,

¹⁹耶和華啊，你行了這大事，並且顯明出來，是因你僕人的緣故，也是照你的心意。O LORD. For the sake of Your servant and according to Your own heart, You have accomplished this great thing and made known all these great promises.

²⁰耶和華啊，照我們耳中聽見，沒有可比你的，除你以外再無　神。O LORD, there is none like You, and there is no God but You, according to everything we have heard with our own ears.

²¹世上有何民能比你的民以色列呢？你　神從埃及救贖他們作自己的子民，又在你贖出來的民面前行大而可畏的事，驅逐列邦人，顯出你的大名。And who is like Your people Israel—the one nation on earth whom God went out to redeem as a people for Himself? You made a name for Yourself through great and awesome wonders by driving out nations from before Your people, whom You redeemed from Egypt.

²²你使以色列人作你的子民，直到永遠；你─耶和華也作他們的　神。For You have made Your people Israel Your very own forever, and You, O LORD, have become their God.

²³耶和華啊，你所應許僕人和僕人家的話，求你堅定，直到永遠，照你所說的而行。And now, O LORD, let the word You have spoken concerning Your servant and his house be established forever. Do as You have promised,

²⁴願你的名永遠堅立，被尊為大，說：『萬軍之耶和華是以色列的　神，是治理以色列的　神。』這樣，你僕人大衛的家必在你面前堅立。so that Your name will be established and magnified forever when it is said, ‘The LORD of Hosts, the God of Israel, is God over Israel.’ And may the house of Your servant David be established before You.

²⁵我的　神啊，因你啟示僕人說，我必為你建立家室，所以僕人大膽在你面前祈禱。For You, my God, have revealed to Your servant that You will build a house for him. Therefore Your servant has found the courage to pray before You.

²⁶耶和華啊，惟有你是　神，你也應許將這福氣賜給僕人。And now, O LORD, You are God! And You have promised this goodness to Your servant.

²⁷現在你喜悅賜福與僕人的家，可以永存在你面前。耶和華啊，你已經賜福，還要賜福到永遠。」So now You have been pleased to bless the house of Your servant, that it may continue forever before You. For You, O LORD, have blessed it, and it will be blessed forever.”

大衛四面得勝

¹此後，大衛攻打非利士人，把他們治服，從他們手下奪取了迦特和屬迦特的村莊；Some time later, David defeated the Philistines, subdued them, and took Gath and its villages from the hand of the Philistines.

²又攻打摩押，摩押人就歸服大衛，給他進貢。David also defeated the Moabites, and they became subject to David and brought him tribute.

³瑣巴王哈大利謝（在撒母耳下八章三節是哈大底謝）往幼發拉底河去，要堅定自己的國權，大衛就攻打他，直到哈馬，As far as Hamath, David also defeated King Hadadezer of Zobah, who had marched out to establish his dominion along the Euphrates River.

⁴奪了他的戰車一千，馬兵七千，步兵二萬，將拉戰車的馬砍斷蹄筋，但留下一百輛車的馬。David captured from him a thousand chariots, seven thousand charioteers, and twenty thousand foot soldiers, and he hamstrung all the horses except a hundred he kept for the chariots.

⁵大馬士革的亞蘭人來幫助瑣巴王哈大利謝，大衛就殺了亞蘭人二萬二千。When the Arameans of Damascus came to help King Hadadezer of Zobah, David struck down twenty-two thousand of their men.

⁶於是大衛在大馬士革的亞蘭地設立防營，亞蘭人就歸服他，給他進貢。大衛無論往哪裡去，耶和華都使他得勝。Then he placed garrisons in Aram of Damascus, and the Arameans became subject to David and brought him tribute. So the LORD made David victorious wherever he went.

⁷他奪了哈大利謝臣僕所拿的金盾牌帶到耶路撒冷。And David took the gold shields that belonged to the officers of Hadadezer and brought them to Jerusalem.

⁸大衛又從屬哈大利謝的提巴（或譯：比他）和均二城中奪取了許多的銅。後來所羅門用此製造銅海、銅柱，和一切的銅器。And from Tibhath and Cun, cities of Hadadezer, David took a large amount of bronze, with which Solomon made the bronze Sea, the pillars, and various bronze articles.

哈馬王送禮

⁹哈馬王陀烏聽見大衛殺敗瑣巴王哈大利謝的全軍，When King Tou of Hamath heard that David had defeated the entire army of Hadadezer king of Zobah,

¹⁰就打發他兒子哈多蘭去見大衛王，問他的安，為他祝福，因為他殺敗了哈大利謝〈原來陀烏與哈大利謝常常爭戰〉。哈多蘭帶了金銀銅的各樣器皿來。he sent his son Hadoram to greet King David and bless him for fighting and defeating Hadadezer, who had been at war with Tou. Hadoram brought all kinds of articles of gold and silver and bronze,

把擄物分別為聖獻給耶和華

¹¹大衛王將這些器皿，並從各國奪來的金銀，就是從以東、摩押、亞捫、非利士、亞瑪力人所奪來的，都分別為聖獻給耶和華。and King David dedicated these to the LORD, along with the silver and gold he had carried off from all these nations—from Edom and Moab, and from the Ammonites, Philistines, and Amalekites.

¹²洗魯雅的兒子亞比篩在鹽谷擊殺了以東一萬八千人。Moreover, Abishai son of Zeruiah struck down eighteen thousand Edomites in the Valley of Salt.

¹³大衛在以東地設立防營，以東人就都歸服他。大衛無論往哪裡去，耶和華都使他得勝。He placed garrisons in Edom, and all the Edomites were subject to David. So the LORD made David victorious wherever he went.

大衛的臣僕

¹⁴大衛作以色列眾人的王，又向眾民秉公行義。Thus David reigned over all Israel and administered justice and righteousness for all his people:

¹⁵洗魯雅的兒子約押作元帥；亞希律的兒子約沙法作史官；Joab son of Zeruiah was over the army; Jehoshaphat son of Ahilud was the recorder;

¹⁶亞希突的兒子撒督和亞比亞他的兒子亞希米勒作祭司長；沙威沙作書記；Zadok son of Ahitub and Ahimelech son of Abiathar were priests; Shavsha was the scribe;

¹⁷耶何耶大的兒子比拿雅統轄基利提人和比利提人。大衛的眾子都在王的左右作領袖。Benaiah son of Jehoiada was over the Cherethites and Pelethites; and David’s sons were chief officials at the king’s side.

彼得起來講道

¹⁴彼得和十一個使徒站起，高聲說：「猶太人和一切住在耶路撒冷的人哪，這件事你們當知道，也當側耳聽我的話。Then Peter stood up with the Eleven, lifted up his voice, and addressed the crowd: “Men of Judea and all who dwell in Jerusalem, let this be known to you, and listen carefully to my words.

¹⁵你們想這些人是醉了；其實不是醉了，因為時候剛到巳初。These men are not drunk, as you suppose. It is only the third hour of the day!

應驗約珥的預言

¹⁶這正是先知約珥所說的：No, this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel:

¹⁷神說：在末後的日子，我要將我的靈澆灌凡有血氣的。你們的兒女要說預言；你們的少年人要見異象；老年人要做異夢。‘In the last days, God says, I will pour out My Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams.

¹⁸在那些日子，我要將我的靈澆灌我的僕人和使女，他們就要說預言。Even on My menservants and maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days, and they will prophesy.

¹⁹在天上，我要顯出奇事；在地下，我要顯出神蹟；有血，有火，有煙霧。I will show wonders in the heavens above and signs on the earth below, blood and fire and billows of smoke.

²⁰日頭要變為黑暗，月亮要變為血；這都在主大而明顯的日子未到以前。The sun will be turned to darkness, and the moon to blood, before the coming of the great and glorious Day of the Lord.

²¹到那時候，凡求告主名的，就必得救。And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.’

神叫耶穌復活

²²「以色列人哪，請聽我的話：　神藉著拿撒勒人耶穌在你們中間施行異能、奇事、神蹟，將他證明出來，這是你們自己知道的。Men of Israel, listen to this message: Jesus of Nazareth was a man certified by God to you by miracles, wonders, and signs, which God did among you through Him, as you yourselves know.

²³他既按著　神的定旨先見被交與人，你們就藉著無法之人的手，把他釘在十字架上，殺了。He was delivered up by God’s set plan and foreknowledge, and you, by the hands of the lawless, put Him to death by nailing Him to the cross.

²⁴神卻將死的痛苦解釋了，叫他復活，因為他原不能被死拘禁。But God raised Him from the dead, releasing Him from the agony of death, because it was impossible for death to keep Him in its grip.

大衛預言基督復活

²⁵大衛指著他說：「我看見主常在我眼前；他在我右邊，叫我不至於搖動。David says about Him: ‘I saw the Lord always before me; because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken.

²⁶所以，我心裡歡喜，我的靈（原文是舌）快樂；並且我的肉身要安居在指望中。Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices; my body also will dwell in hope,

²⁷因你必不將我的靈魂撇在陰間，也不叫你的聖者見朽壞。because You will not abandon my soul to Hades, nor will You let Your Holy One see decay.

²⁸你已將生命的道路指示我，必叫我因見你的面（或譯：叫我在你面前）得著滿足的快樂。You have made known to me the paths of life; You will fill me with joy in Your presence.’

²⁹「弟兄們！先祖大衛的事，我可以明明地對你們說：他死了，也葬埋了，並且他的墳墓直到今日還在我們這裡。Brothers, I can tell you with confidence that the patriarch David died and was buried, and his tomb is with us to this day.

³⁰大衛既是先知，又曉得　神曾向他起誓，要從他的後裔中立一位坐在他的寶座上，But he was a prophet and knew that God had promised him on oath that He would place one of his descendants on his throne.

³¹就預先看明這事，講論基督復活說：他的靈魂不撇在陰間；他的肉身也不見朽壞。Foreseeing this, David spoke about the resurrection of the Christ, that He was not abandoned to Hades, nor did His body see decay.

耶穌被高舉為主為基督

³²這耶穌，　神已經叫他復活了，我們都為這事作見證。God has raised this Jesus to life, to which we are all witnesses.

³³他既被　神的右手高舉（或譯：他既高舉在　神的右邊），又從父受了所應許的聖靈，就把你們所看見所聽見的，澆灌下來。Exalted, then, to the right hand of God, He has received from the Father the promised Holy Spirit and has poured out what you now see and hear.

³⁴大衛並沒有升到天上，但自己說：主對我主說：你坐在我的右邊，For David did not ascend into heaven, but he himself says: ‘The Lord said to my Lord, “Sit at My right hand

³⁵等我使你仇敵作你的腳凳。until I make Your enemies a footstool for Your feet.”’

³⁶「故此，以色列全家當確實地知道，你們釘在十字架上的這位耶穌，　神已經立他為主，為基督了。」Therefore let all Israel know with certainty that God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ!”

悔改受洗，三千人信主

³⁷眾人聽見這話，覺得扎心，就對彼得和其餘的使徒說：「弟兄們，我們當怎樣行？」When the people heard this, they were cut to the heart and asked Peter and the other apostles, “Brothers, what shall we do?”

³⁸彼得說：「你們各人要悔改，奉耶穌基督的名受洗，叫你們的罪得赦，就必領受所賜的聖靈；Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

³⁹因為這應許是給你們和你們的兒女，並一切在遠方的人，就是主─我們　神所召來的。」This promise belongs to you and your children and to all who are far off—to all whom the Lord our God will call to Himself.”

⁴⁰彼得還用許多話作見證，勸勉他們說：「你們當救自己脫離這彎曲的世代。」With many other words he testified, and he urged them, “Be saved from this corrupt generation.”

⁴¹於是領受他話的人就受了洗。那一天，門徒約添了三千人，Those who embraced his message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to the believers that day.

初代教會的生活

⁴²都恆心遵守使徒的教訓，彼此交接，擘餅，祈禱。They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.

⁴³眾人都懼怕；使徒又行了許多奇事神蹟。A sense of awe came over everyone, and the apostles performed many wonders and signs.

⁴⁴信的人都在一處，凡物公用，All the believers were together and had everything in common.

⁴⁵並且賣了田產、家業，照各人所需用的分給各人。Selling their possessions and goods, they shared with anyone who was in need.

⁴⁶他們天天同心合意恆切地在殿裡，且在家中擘餅，存著歡喜、誠實的心用飯，With one accord they continued to meet daily in the temple courts and to break bread from house to house, sharing their meals with gladness and sincerity of heart,

⁴⁷讚美　神，得眾民的喜愛。主將得救的人天天加給他們。praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.
