不順從的咒詛

¹⁵「你若不聽從耶和華─你　神的話，不謹守遵行他的一切誡命律例，就是我今日所吩咐你的，這以下的咒詛都必追隨你，臨到你身上：If, however, you do not obey the LORD your God by carefully following all His commandments and statutes I am giving you today, all these curses will come upon you and overtake you:

¹⁶你在城裡必受咒詛，在田間也必受咒詛。You will be cursed in the city and cursed in the country.

¹⁷你的筐子和你的摶麵盆都必受咒詛。Your basket and kneading bowl will be cursed.

¹⁸你身所生的，地所產的，以及牛犢、羊羔，都必受咒詛。The fruit of your womb will be cursed, as well as the produce of your land, the calves of your herds, and the lambs of your flocks.

¹⁹你出也受咒詛，入也受咒詛。You will be cursed when you come in and cursed when you go out.

瘟疫、乾旱和災病

²⁰耶和華因你行惡離棄他，必在你手裡所辦的一切事上，使咒詛、擾亂、責罰臨到你，直到你被毀滅，速速地滅亡。The LORD will send curses upon you, confusion and reproof in all to which you put your hand, until you are destroyed and quickly perish because of the wickedness you have committed in forsaking Him.

²¹耶和華必使瘟疫貼在你身上，直到他將你從所進去得為業的地上滅絕。The LORD will make the plague cling to you until He has exterminated you from the land that you are entering to possess.

²²耶和華要用癆病、熱病、火症、瘧疾、刀劍、旱風（或譯：乾旱）、霉爛攻擊你。這都要追趕你，直到你滅亡。The LORD will strike you with wasting disease, with fever and inflammation, with scorching heat and drought, and with blight and mildew; these will pursue you until you perish.

²³你頭上的天要變為銅，腳下的地要變為鐵。The sky over your head will be bronze, and the earth beneath you iron.

²⁴耶和華要使那降在你地上的雨變為塵沙，從天臨在你身上，直到你滅亡。The LORD will turn the rain of your land into dust and powder; it will descend on you from the sky until you are destroyed.

敗在仇敵面前

²⁵「耶和華必使你敗在仇敵面前，你從一條路去攻擊他們，必從七條路逃跑。你必在天下萬國中拋來拋去。The LORD will cause you to be defeated before your enemies. You will march out against them in one direction but flee from them in seven. You will be an object of horror to all the kingdoms of the earth.

²⁶你的屍首必給空中的飛鳥和地上的走獸作食物，並無人鬨趕。Your corpses will be food for all the birds of the air and beasts of the earth, with no one to scare them away.

²⁷耶和華必用埃及人的瘡並痔瘡、牛皮癬與疥攻擊你，使你不能醫治。The LORD will afflict you with the boils of Egypt, with tumors and scabs and itch from which you cannot be cured.

²⁸耶和華必用癲狂、眼瞎、心驚攻擊你。The LORD will afflict you with madness, blindness, and confusion of mind,

²⁹你必在午間摸索，好像瞎子在暗中摸索一樣。你所行的必不亨通，時常遭遇欺壓、搶奪，無人搭救。and at noon you will grope about like a blind man in the darkness. You will not prosper in your ways. Day after day you will be oppressed and plundered, with no one to save you.

³⁰你聘定了妻，別人必與她同房；你建造房屋，不得住在其內；你栽種葡萄園，也不得用其中的果子。You will be pledged in marriage to a woman, but another man will violate her. You will build a house but will not live in it. You will plant a vineyard but will not enjoy its fruit.

³¹你的牛在你眼前宰了，你必不得吃牠的肉；你的驢在你眼前被搶奪，不得歸還；你的羊歸了仇敵，無人搭救。Your ox will be slaughtered before your eyes, but you will not eat any of it. Your donkey will be taken away and not returned to you. Your flock will be given to your enemies, and no one will save you.

³²你的兒女必歸與別國的民；你的眼目終日切望，甚至失明，你手中無力拯救。Your sons and daughters will be given to another nation, while your eyes grow weary looking for them day after day, with no power in your hand.

³³你的土產和你勞碌得來的，必被你所不認識的國民吃盡。你時常被欺負，受壓制，A people you do not know will eat the produce of your land and of all your toil. All your days you will be oppressed and crushed.

³⁴甚至你因眼中所看見的，必致瘋狂。You will be driven mad by the sights you see.

³⁵耶和華必攻擊你，使你膝上腿上，從腳掌到頭頂，長毒瘡無法醫治。The LORD will afflict you with painful, incurable boils on your knees and thighs, from the soles of your feet to the top of your head.

被擄到外邦

³⁶「耶和華必將你和你所立的王領到你和你列祖素不認識的國去；在那裡你必事奉木頭石頭的神。The LORD will bring you and the king you appoint to a nation neither you nor your fathers have known, and there you will worship other gods—gods of wood and stone.

³⁷你在耶和華領你到的各國中，要令人驚駭、笑談、譏誚。You will become an object of horror, scorn, and ridicule among all the nations to which the LORD will drive you.

³⁸你帶到田間的種子雖多，收進來的卻少，因為被蝗蟲吃了。You will sow much seed in the field but harvest little, because the locusts will consume it.

³⁹你栽種、修理葡萄園，卻不得收葡萄，也不得喝葡萄酒，因為被蟲子吃了。You will plant and cultivate vineyards, but will neither drink the wine nor gather the grapes, because worms will eat them.

⁴⁰你全境有橄欖樹，卻不得其油抹身，因為樹上的橄欖不熟自落了。You will have olive trees throughout your territory but will never anoint yourself with oil, because the olives will drop off.

⁴¹你生兒養女，卻不算是你的，因為必被擄去。You will father sons and daughters, but they will not remain yours, because they will go into captivity.

⁴²你所有的樹木和你地裡的出產必被蝗蟲所吃。Swarms of locusts will consume all your trees and the produce of your land.

⁴³在你中間寄居的，必漸漸上升，比你高而又高；你必漸漸下降，低而又低。The foreigner living among you will rise higher and higher above you, while you sink down lower and lower.

⁴⁴他必借給你，你卻不能借給他；他必作首，你必作尾。He will lend to you, but you will not lend to him. He will be the head, and you will be the tail.

⁴⁵這一切咒詛必追隨你，趕上你，直到你滅亡；因為你不聽從耶和華─你　神的話，不遵守他所吩咐的誡命律例。All these curses will come upon you. They will pursue you and overtake you until you are destroyed, since you did not obey the LORD your God and keep the commandments and statutes He gave you.

⁴⁶這些咒詛必在你和你後裔的身上成為異蹟奇事，直到永遠！These curses will be a sign and a wonder upon you and your descendants forever.

不歡心事奉神，就要事奉仇敵

⁴⁷「因為你富有的時候，不歡心樂意地事奉耶和華─你的　神，Because you did not serve the LORD your God with joy and gladness of heart in all your abundance,

⁴⁸所以你必在飢餓、乾渴、赤露、缺乏之中事奉耶和華所打發來攻擊你的仇敵。他必把鐵軛加在你的頸項上，直到將你滅絕。you will serve your enemies the LORD will send against you in famine, thirst, nakedness, and destitution. He will place an iron yoke on your neck until He has destroyed you.

遠方的國如鷹飛來

⁴⁹「耶和華要從遠方、地極帶一國的民，如鷹飛來攻擊你。這民的言語，你不懂得。The LORD will bring a nation from afar, from the ends of the earth, to swoop down upon you like an eagle—a nation whose language you will not understand,

⁵⁰這民的面貌凶惡，不顧恤年老的，也不恩待年少的。a ruthless nation with no respect for the old and no pity for the young.

⁵¹他們必吃你牲畜所下的和你地土所產的，直到你滅亡。你的五穀、新酒，和油，以及牛犢、羊羔，都不給你留下，直到將你滅絕。They will eat the offspring of your livestock and the produce of your land until you are destroyed. They will leave you no grain or new wine or oil, no calves of your herds or lambs of your flocks, until they have caused you to perish.

⁵²他們必將你困在你各城裡，直到你所倚靠、高大堅固的城牆都被攻塌。他們必將你困在耶和華─你　神所賜你遍地的各城裡。They will besiege all the cities throughout your land, until the high and fortified walls in which you trust have fallen. They will besiege all your cities throughout the land that the LORD your God has given you.

圍城中的慘況

⁵³你在仇敵圍困窘迫之中，必吃你本身所生的，就是耶和華─你　神所賜給你的兒女之肉。Then you will eat the fruit of your womb, the flesh of the sons and daughters whom the LORD your God has given you, in the siege and distress that your enemy will inflict on you.

⁵⁴你們中間，柔弱嬌嫩的人必惡眼看他弟兄和他懷中的妻，並他餘剩的兒女；The most gentle and refined man among you will begrudge his brother, the wife he embraces, and the rest of his children who have survived,

⁵⁵甚至在你受仇敵圍困窘迫的城中，他要吃兒女的肉，不肯分一點給他的親人，因為他一無所剩。refusing to share with any of them the flesh of his children he will eat because he has nothing left in the siege and distress that your enemy will inflict on you within all your gates.

⁵⁶你們中間，柔弱嬌嫩的婦人，是因嬌嫩柔弱不肯把腳踏地的，必惡眼看她懷中的丈夫和她的兒女。The most gentle and refined woman among you, so gentle and refined she would not venture to set the sole of her foot on the ground, will begrudge the husband she embraces and her son and daughter

⁵⁷她兩腿中間出來的嬰孩與她所要生的兒女，她因缺乏一切就要在你受仇敵圍困窘迫的城中將他們暗暗地吃了。the afterbirth that comes from between her legs and the children she bears, because she will secretly eat them for lack of anything else in the siege and distress that your enemy will inflict on you within your gates.

不謹守律法的奇災

^58–59「這書上所寫律法的一切話是叫你敬畏耶和華─你　神可榮可畏的名。你若不謹守遵行，耶和華就必將奇災，就是至大至長的災，至重至久的病，加在你和你後裔的身上，If you are not careful to observe all the words of this law which are written in this book, that you may fear this glorious and awesome name—the LORD your God— He will bring upon you and your descendants extraordinary disasters, severe and lasting plagues, and terrible and chronic sicknesses.

⁶⁰也必使你所懼怕、埃及人的病都臨到你，貼在你身上，He will afflict you again with all the diseases you dreaded in Egypt, and they will cling to you.

⁶¹又必將沒有寫在這律法書上的各樣疾病、災殃降在你身上，直到你滅亡。The LORD will also bring upon you every sickness and plague not recorded in this Book of the Law, until you are destroyed.

分散在萬民中

⁶²你們先前雖然像天上的星那樣多，卻因不聽從耶和華─你　神的話，所剩的人數就稀少了。You who were as numerous as the stars in the sky will be left few in number, because you would not obey the voice of the LORD your God.

⁶³先前耶和華怎樣喜悅善待你們，使你們眾多，也要照樣喜悅毀滅你們，使你們滅亡；並且你們從所要進去得的地上必被拔除。Just as it pleased the LORD to make you prosper and multiply, so also it will please Him to annihilate you and destroy you. And you will be uprooted from the land you are entering to possess.

⁶⁴耶和華必使你們分散在萬民中，從地這邊到地那邊，你必在那裡事奉你和你列祖素不認識、木頭石頭的神。Then the LORD will scatter you among all the nations, from one end of the earth to the other, and there you will worship other gods, gods of wood and stone, which neither you nor your fathers have known.

⁶⁵在那些國中，你必不得安逸，也不得落腳之地；耶和華卻使你在那裡心中跳動，眼目失明，精神消耗。Among those nations you will find no repose, not even a resting place for the sole of your foot. There the LORD will give you a trembling heart, failing eyes, and a despairing soul.

⁶⁶你的性命必懸懸無定；你晝夜恐懼，自料性命難保。So your life will hang in doubt before you, and you will be afraid night and day, never certain of survival.

⁶⁷你因心裡所恐懼的，眼中所看見的，早晨必說，巴不得到晚上才好；晚上必說，巴不得到早晨才好。In the morning you will say, ‘If only it were evening!’ and in the evening you will say, ‘If only it were morning!’—because of the dread in your hearts of the terrifying sights you will see.

⁶⁸耶和華必使你坐船回埃及去，走我曾告訴你不得再見的路；在那裡你必賣己身與仇敵作奴婢，卻無人買。」The LORD will return you to Egypt in ships by a route that I said you should never see again. There you will sell yourselves to your enemies as male and female slaves, but no one will buy you.”

在摩押地立約

¹這是耶和華在摩押地吩咐摩西與以色列人立約的話，是在他和他們於何烈山所立的約之外。These are the words of the covenant that the LORD commanded Moses to make with the Israelites in the land of Moab, in addition to the covenant He had made with them at Horeb.

回顧神的作為

²摩西召了以色列眾人來，對他們說：「耶和華在埃及地，在你們眼前向法老和他眾臣僕，並他全地所行的一切事，你們都看見了，Moses summoned all Israel and proclaimed to them, “You have seen with your own eyes everything the LORD did in Egypt to Pharaoh, to all his officials, and to all his land.

³就是你親眼看見的大試驗和神蹟，並那些大奇事。You saw with your own eyes the great trials, and those miraculous signs and wonders.

⁴但耶和華到今日沒有使你們心能明白，眼能看見，耳能聽見。Yet to this day the LORD has not given you a mind to understand, eyes to see, or ears to hear.

⁵我領你們在曠野四十年，你們身上的衣服並沒有穿破，腳上的鞋也沒有穿壞。For forty years I led you in the wilderness, yet your clothes and sandals did not wear out.

⁶你們沒有吃餅，也沒有喝清酒濃酒。這要使你們知道，耶和華是你們的　神。You ate no bread and drank no wine or strong drink, so that you might know that I am the LORD your God.

⁷你們來到這地方，希實本王西宏、巴珊王噩都出來與我們交戰，我們就擊殺了他們，When you reached this place, Sihon king of Heshbon and Og king of Bashan came out against us in battle, but we defeated them.

⁸取了他們的地給流便支派、迦得支派，和瑪拿西半支派為業。We took their land and gave it as an inheritance to the Reubenites, the Gadites, and the half-tribe of Manasseh.

⁹所以你們要謹守遵行這約的話，好叫你們在一切所行的事上亨通。So keep and follow the words of this covenant, that you may prosper in all you do.

全體百姓站在神面前立約

^10–11「今日，你們的首領、族長（原文是支派）、長老、官長、以色列的男丁，你們的妻子兒女，和營中寄居的，以及為你們劈柴挑水的人，都站在耶和華─你們的　神面前，All of you are standing today before the LORD your God—you leaders of tribes, elders, officials, and all the men of Israel, your children and wives, and the foreigners in your camps who cut your wood and draw your water—

¹²為要你順從耶和華─你　神今日與你所立的約，向你所起的誓。so that you may enter into the covenant of the LORD your God, which He is making with you today, and into His oath,

¹³這樣，他要照他向你所應許的話，又向你列祖亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各所起的誓，今日立你作他的子民，他作你的　神。and so that He may establish you today as His people, and He may be your God as He promised you and as He swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

¹⁴我不但與你們立這約，起這誓，I am making this covenant and this oath not only with you,

¹⁵凡與我們一同站在耶和華─我們　神面前的，並今日不在我們這裡的人，我也與他們立這約，起這誓。but also with those who are standing here with us today in the presence of the LORD our God, as well as with those who are not here today.

你們看見過列國的偶像

¹⁶「我們曾住過埃及地，也從列國經過；這是你們知道的。For you yourselves know how we lived in the land of Egypt and how we passed through the nations on the way here.

¹⁷你們也看見他們中間可憎之物，並他們木、石、金、銀的偶像。You saw the abominations and idols among them made of wood and stone, of silver and gold.

在迦百農教導人

³¹耶穌下到迦百農，就是加利利的一座城，在安息日教訓眾人。Then He went down to Capernaum, a town in Galilee, and on the Sabbath He began to teach the people.

³²他們很希奇他的教訓，因為他的話裡有權柄。They were astonished at His teaching, because His message had authority.

在會堂趕出污鬼

³³在會堂裡有一個人，被污鬼的精氣附著，大聲喊叫說：In the synagogue there was a man possessed by the spirit of an unclean demon. He cried out in a loud voice,

³⁴「唉！拿撒勒的耶穌，我們與你有甚麼相干？你來滅我們嗎？我知道你是誰，乃是　神的聖者。」“Ha! What do You want with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have You come to destroy us? I know who You are—the Holy One of God!”

³⁵耶穌責備他說：「不要作聲，從這人身上出來吧！」鬼把那人摔倒在眾人中間，就出來了，卻也沒有害他。But Jesus rebuked the demon. “Be silent!” He said. “Come out of him!” At this, the demon threw the man down before them all and came out without harming him.

³⁶眾人都驚訝，彼此對問說：「這是甚麼道理呢？因為他用權柄能力吩咐污鬼，污鬼就出來。」All the people were overcome with amazement and asked one another, “What is this message? With authority and power He commands the unclean spirits, and they come out!”

³⁷於是耶穌的名聲傳遍了周圍地方。And the news about Jesus spread throughout the surrounding region.

醫好西門的岳母

³⁸耶穌出了會堂，進了西門的家。西門的岳母害熱病甚重，有人為她求耶穌。After Jesus had left the synagogue, He went to the home of Simon, whose mother-in-law was suffering from a high fever. So they appealed to Jesus on her behalf,

³⁹耶穌站在她旁邊，斥責那熱病，熱就退了。她立刻起來服事他們。and He stood over her and rebuked the fever, and it left her. And she got up at once and began to serve them.

日落時醫治許多人

⁴⁰日落的時候，凡有病人的，不論害甚麼病，都帶到耶穌那裡。耶穌按手在他們各人身上，醫好他們。At sunset, all who were ill with various diseases were brought to Jesus, and laying His hands on each one, He healed them.

⁴¹又有鬼從好些人身上出來，喊著說：「你是　神的兒子。」耶穌斥責他們，不許他們說話。因為他們知道他是基督。Demons also came out of many people, shouting, “You are the Son of God!” But He rebuked the demons and would not allow them to speak, because they knew He was the Christ.

往別城傳福音

⁴²天亮的時候，耶穌出來，走到曠野地方。眾人去找他，到了他那裡，要留住他，不要他離開他們。At daybreak, Jesus went out to a solitary place, and the crowds were looking for Him. They came to Him and tried to keep Him from leaving.

⁴³但耶穌對他們說：「我也必須在別城傳　神國的福音，因我奉差原是為此。」But Jesus told them, “I must preach the good news of the kingdom of God to the other towns as well, because that is why I was sent.”

⁴⁴於是耶穌在加利利的各會堂傳道。And He continued to preach in the synagogues of Judea.
