責打不可過數

¹「人若有爭訟，來聽審判，審判官就要定義人有理，定惡人有罪。If there is a dispute between men, they are to go to court to be judged, so that the innocent may be acquitted and the guilty condemned.

²惡人若該受責打，審判官就要叫他當面伏在地上，按著他的罪照數責打。If the guilty man deserves to be beaten, the judge shall have him lie down and be flogged in his presence with the number of lashes his crime warrants.

³只可打他四十下，不可過數；若過數，便是輕賤你的弟兄了。He may receive no more than forty lashes, lest your brother be beaten any more than that and be degraded in your sight.

不可籠住牛的嘴

⁴「牛在場上踹穀的時候，不可籠住牠的嘴。」Do not muzzle an ox while it is treading out the grain.

為死去的兄弟立後

⁵「弟兄同居，若死了一個，沒有兒子，死人的妻不可出嫁外人，她丈夫的兄弟當盡弟兄的本分，娶她為妻，與她同房。When brothers dwell together and one of them dies without a son, the widow must not marry outside the family. Her husband’s brother is to take her as his wife and fulfill the duty of a brother-in-law for her.

⁶婦人生的長子必歸死兄的名下，免得他的名在以色列中塗抹了。The first son she bears will carry on the name of the dead brother, so that his name will not be blotted out from Israel.

⁷那人若不願意娶他哥哥的妻，他哥哥的妻就要到城門長老那裡，說：『我丈夫的兄弟不肯在以色列中興起他哥哥的名字，不給我盡弟兄的本分。』But if the man does not want to marry his brother’s widow, she is to go to the elders at the city gate and say, “My husband’s brother refuses to preserve his brother’s name in Israel. He is not willing to perform the duty of a brother-in-law for me.”

⁸本城的長老就要召那人來問他，他若執意說：『我不願意娶她』，Then the elders of his city shall summon him and speak with him. If he persists and says, “I do not want to marry her,”

⁹他哥哥的妻就要當著長老到那人的跟前，脫了他的鞋，吐唾沫在他臉上，說：『凡不為哥哥建立家室的都要這樣待他。』his brother’s widow shall go up to him in the presence of the elders, remove his sandal, spit in his face, and declare, “This is what is done to the man who will not maintain his brother’s line.”

¹⁰在以色列中，他的名必稱為脫鞋之家。」And his family name in Israel will be called “The House of the Unsandaled.”

¹¹「若有二人爭鬥，這人的妻近前來，要救她丈夫脫離那打她丈夫之人的手，抓住那人的下體，If two men are fighting, and the wife of one comes to rescue her husband from the one striking him, and she reaches out her hand and grabs his genitals,

¹²就要砍斷婦人的手，眼不可顧惜她。you are to cut off her hand. You must show her no pity.

公平的法碼和升斗

¹³「你囊中不可有一大一小兩樣的法碼。You shall not have two differing weights in your bag, one heavy and one light.

¹⁴你家裡不可有一大一小兩樣的升斗。You shall not have two differing measures in your house, one large and one small.

¹⁵當用對準公平的法碼，公平的升斗。這樣，在耶和華─你　神所賜你的地上，你的日子就可以長久。You must maintain accurate and honest weights and measures, so that you may live long in the land that the LORD your God is giving you.

¹⁶因為行非義之事的人都是耶和華─你　神所憎惡的。」For everyone who behaves dishonestly in regard to these things is detestable to the LORD your God.

不可忘記亞瑪力人

¹⁷「你要記念你們出埃及的時候，亞瑪力人在路上怎樣待你。Remember what the Amalekites did to you along your way from Egypt,

¹⁸他們在路上遇見你，趁你疲乏困倦擊殺你儘後邊軟弱的人，並不敬畏　神。how they met you on your journey when you were tired and weary, and they attacked all your stragglers; they had no fear of God.

¹⁹所以耶和華─你　神使你不被四圍一切的仇敵擾亂，在耶和華─你　神賜你為業的地上得享平安。那時，你要將亞瑪力的名號從天下塗抹了，不可忘記。」When the LORD your God gives you rest from the enemies around you in the land that He is giving you to possess as an inheritance, you are to blot out the memory of Amalek from under heaven. Do not forget!

獻上初熟的土產

¹「你進去得了耶和華─你　神所賜你為業之地居住，When you enter the land that the LORD your God is giving you as an inheritance, and you take possession of it and settle in it,

²就要從耶和華─你　神賜你的地上將所收的各種初熟的土產取些來，盛在筐子裡，往耶和華─你　神所選擇要立為他名的居所去，you are to take some of the firstfruits of all your produce from the soil of the land that the LORD your God is giving you and put them in a basket. Then go to the place the LORD your God will choose as a dwelling for His Name,

³見當時作祭司的，對他說：『我今日向耶和華─你　神明認，我已來到耶和華向我們列祖起誓應許賜給我們的地。』to the priest who is serving at that time, and say to him, “I declare today to the LORD your God that I have entered the land that the LORD swore to our fathers to give us.”

⁴祭司就從你手裡取過筐子來，放在耶和華─你　神的壇前。Then the priest shall take the basket from your hands and place it before the altar of the LORD your God,

⁵你要在耶和華─你　神面前說：『我祖原是一個將亡的亞蘭人，下到埃及寄居。他人口稀少，在那裡卻成了又大又強、人數很多的國民。and you are to declare before the LORD your God, “My father was a wandering Aramean, and he went down to Egypt few in number and lived there and became a great nation, mighty and numerous.

⁶埃及人惡待我們，苦害我們，將苦工加在我們身上。But the Egyptians mistreated us and afflicted us, putting us to hard labor.

⁷於是我們哀求耶和華─我們列祖的　神，耶和華聽見我們的聲音，看見我們所受的困苦、勞碌、欺壓，So we called out to the LORD, the God of our fathers; and the LORD heard our voice and saw our affliction, toil, and oppression.

⁸他就用大能的手和伸出來的膀臂，並大可畏的事與神蹟奇事，領我們出了埃及，Then the LORD brought us out of Egypt with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm, with great terror, signs, and wonders.

⁹將我們領進這地方，把這流奶與蜜之地賜給我們。And He brought us to this place and gave us this land, a land flowing with milk and honey.

¹⁰耶和華啊，現在我把你所賜給我地上初熟的土產奉了來。』隨後你要把筐子放在耶和華─你　神面前，向耶和華─你的　神下拜。And now, behold, I have brought the firstfruits of the land that You, O LORD, have given me.” Then you are to place the basket before the LORD your God and bow down before Him.

¹¹你和利未人，並在你們中間寄居的，要因耶和華─你　神所賜你和你家的一切福分歡樂。So you shall rejoice—you, the Levite, and the foreigner dwelling among you—in all the good things the LORD your God has given to you and your household.

第三年的十分之一

¹²「每逢三年，就是十分取一之年，你取完了一切土產的十分之一，要分給利未人和寄居的，與孤兒寡婦，使他們在你城中可以吃得飽足。When you have finished laying aside a tenth of all your produce in the third year, the year of the tithe, you are to give it to the Levite, the foreigner, the fatherless, and the widow, that they may eat and be filled within your gates.

¹³你又要在耶和華─你　神面前說：『我已將聖物從我家裡拿出來，給了利未人和寄居的，與孤兒寡婦，是照你所吩咐我的一切命令。你的命令我都沒有違背，也沒有忘記。Then you shall declare in the presence of the LORD your God, “I have removed from my house the sacred portion and have given it to the Levite, the foreigner, the fatherless, and the widow, according to all the commandments You have given me. I have not transgressed or forgotten Your commandments.

¹⁴我守喪的時候，沒有吃這聖物；不潔淨的時候，也沒有拿出來，又沒有為死人送去。我聽從了耶和華─我　神的話，都照你所吩咐的行了。I have not eaten any of the sacred portion while in mourning, or removed any of it while unclean, or offered any of it for the dead. I have obeyed the LORD my God; I have done everything You commanded me.

¹⁵求你從天上、你的聖所垂看，賜福給你的百姓以色列與你所賜給我們的地，就是你向我們列祖起誓賜我們流奶與蜜之地。』」Look down from Your holy habitation, from heaven, and bless Your people Israel and the land You have given us as You swore to our fathers—a land flowing with milk and honey.”

你認神為神，神認你為子民

¹⁶「耶和華─你的　神今日吩咐你行這些律例典章，所以你要盡心盡性謹守遵行。The LORD your God commands you this day to follow these statutes and ordinances. You must be careful to follow them with all your heart and with all your soul.

¹⁷你今日認耶和華為你的　神，應許遵行他的道，謹守他的律例、誡命、典章，聽從他的話。Today you have proclaimed that the LORD is your God and that you will walk in His ways, keep His statutes and commandments and ordinances, and listen to His voice.

¹⁸耶和華今日照他所應許你的，也認你為他的子民，使你謹守他的一切誡命，And today the LORD has proclaimed that you are His people and treasured possession as He promised, that you are to keep all His commandments,

¹⁹又使你得稱讚、美名、尊榮，超乎他所造的萬民之上，並照他所應許的使你歸耶和華─你　神為聖潔的民。」that He will set you high in praise and name and honor above all the nations He has made, and that you will be a holy people to the LORD your God, as He has promised.

在以巴路山立石寫律法

¹摩西和以色列的眾長老吩咐百姓說：「你們要遵守我今日所吩咐的一切誡命。Then Moses and the elders of Israel commanded the people: “Keep all the commandments I am giving you today.

²你們過約旦河，到了耶和華─你　神所賜給你的地，當天要立起幾塊大石頭，墁上石灰，And on the day you cross the Jordan into the land that the LORD your God is giving you, set up large stones and coat them with plaster.

³把這律法的一切話寫在石頭上。你過了河，可以進入耶和華─你　神所賜你流奶與蜜之地，正如耶和華─你列祖之　神所應許你的。Write on them all the words of this law when you have crossed over to enter the land that the LORD your God is giving you, a land flowing with milk and honey, just as the LORD, the God of your fathers, has promised you.

⁴你們過了約旦河，就要在以巴路山上照我今日所吩咐的，將這些石頭立起來，墁上石灰。And when you have crossed the Jordan, you are to set up these stones on Mount Ebal, as I am commanding you today, and you are to coat them with plaster.

⁵在那裡要為耶和華─你的　神築一座石壇；在石頭上不可動鐵器。Moreover, you are to build there an altar to the LORD your God, an altar of stones. You must not use any iron tool on them.

⁶要用沒有鑿過的石頭築耶和華─你　神的壇，在壇上要將燔祭獻給耶和華─你的　神。You shall build the altar of the LORD your God with uncut stones and offer upon it burnt offerings to the LORD your God.

⁷又要獻平安祭，且在那裡吃，在耶和華─你的　神面前歡樂。There you are to sacrifice your peace offerings, eating them and rejoicing in the presence of the LORD your God.

⁸你要將這律法的一切話明明地寫在石頭上。」And you shall write distinctly upon these stones all the words of this law.”

你今日成為神的百姓

⁹摩西和祭司利未人曉諭以色列眾人說：「以色列啊，要默默靜聽。你今日成為耶和華─你　神的百姓了。Then Moses and the Levitical priests spoke to all Israel: “Be silent, O Israel, and listen! This day you have become the people of the LORD your God.

¹⁰所以要聽從耶和華─你　神的話，遵行他的誡命律例，就是我今日所吩咐你的。」You shall therefore obey the voice of the LORD your God and follow His commandments and statutes I am giving you today.”

祝福和咒詛的支派

¹¹當日，摩西囑咐百姓說：On that day Moses commanded the people:

¹²「你們過了約旦河，西緬、利未、猶大、以薩迦、約瑟、便雅憫六個支派的人都要站在基利心山上為百姓祝福。“When you have crossed the Jordan, these tribes shall stand on Mount Gerizim to bless the people: Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, Joseph, and Benjamin.

¹³流便、迦得、亞設、西布倫、但、拿弗他利六個支派的人都要站在以巴路山上宣布咒詛。And these tribes shall stand on Mount Ebal to deliver the curse: Reuben, Gad, Asher, Zebulun, Dan, and Naphtali.

¹⁴利未人要向以色列眾人高聲說：Then the Levites shall proclaim in a loud voice to every Israelite:

十二句咒詛

¹⁵「『有人製造耶和華所憎惡的偶像，或雕刻，或鑄造，就是工匠手所做的，在暗中設立，那人必受咒詛！』百姓都要答應說：『阿們！』‘Cursed is the man who makes a carved idol or molten image—an abomination to the LORD, the work of the hands of a craftsman—and sets it up in secret.’ And let all the people say, ‘Amen!’

¹⁶「『輕慢父母的，必受咒詛！』百姓都要說：『阿們！』‘Cursed is he who dishonors his father or mother.’ And let all the people say, ‘Amen!’

¹⁷「『挪移鄰舍地界的，必受咒詛！』百姓都要說：『阿們！』‘Cursed is he who moves his neighbor’s boundary stone.’ And let all the people say, ‘Amen!’

¹⁸「『使瞎子走差路的，必受咒詛！』百姓都要說：『阿們！』‘Cursed is he who lets a blind man wander in the road.’ And let all the people say, ‘Amen!’

¹⁹「『向寄居的和孤兒寡婦屈枉正直的，必受咒詛！』百姓都要說：『阿們！』‘Cursed is he who withholds justice from the foreigner, the fatherless, or the widow.’ And let all the people say, ‘Amen!’

²⁰「『與繼母行淫的，必受咒詛！因為掀開他父親的衣襟。』百姓都要說：『阿們！』‘Cursed is he who sleeps with his father’s wife, for he has violated his father’s marriage bed.’ And let all the people say, ‘Amen!’

²¹「『與獸淫合的，必受咒詛！』百姓都要說：『阿們！』‘Cursed is he who lies with any animal.’ And let all the people say, ‘Amen!’

²²「『與異母同父，或異父同母的姊妹行淫的，必受咒詛！』百姓都要說：『阿們！』‘Cursed is he who sleeps with his sister, the daughter of his father or the daughter of his mother.’ And let all the people say, ‘Amen!’

²³「『與岳母行淫的，必受咒詛！』百姓都要說：『阿們！』‘Cursed is he who sleeps with his mother-in-law.’ And let all the people say, ‘Amen!’

²⁴「『暗中殺人的，必受咒詛！』百姓都要說：『阿們！』‘Cursed is he who strikes down his neighbor in secret.’ And let all the people say, ‘Amen!’

²⁵「『受賄賂害死無辜之人的，必受咒詛！』百姓都要說：『阿們！』‘Cursed is he who accepts a bribe to kill an innocent person.’ And let all the people say, ‘Amen!’

²⁶「『不堅守遵行這律法言語的，必受咒詛！』百姓都要說：『阿們！』‘Cursed is he who does not put the words of this law into practice.’ And let all the people say, ‘Amen!’

順從的祝福

¹「你若留意聽從耶和華─你　神的話，謹守遵行他的一切誡命，就是我今日所吩咐你的，他必使你超乎天下萬民之上。“Now if you faithfully obey the voice of the LORD your God and are careful to follow all His commandments I am giving you today, the LORD your God will set you high above all the nations of the earth.

²你若聽從耶和華─你　神的話，這以下的福必追隨你，臨到你身上：And all these blessings will come upon you and overtake you, if you will obey the voice of the LORD your God:

³你在城裡必蒙福，在田間也必蒙福。You will be blessed in the city and blessed in the country.

⁴你身所生的，地所產的，牲畜所下的，以及牛犢、羊羔，都必蒙福。The fruit of your womb will be blessed, as well as the produce of your land and the offspring of your livestock—the calves of your herds and the lambs of your flocks.

⁵你的筐子和你的摶麵盆都必蒙福。Your basket and kneading bowl will be blessed.

⁶你出也蒙福，入也蒙福。You will be blessed when you come in and blessed when you go out.

仇敵敗逃，凡事蒙福

⁷「仇敵起來攻擊你，耶和華必使他們在你面前被你殺敗；他們從一條路來攻擊你，必從七條路逃跑。The LORD will cause the enemies who rise up against you to be defeated before you. They will march out against you in one direction but flee from you in seven.

⁸在你倉房裡，並你手所辦的一切事上，耶和華所命的福必臨到你。耶和華─你　神也要在所給你的地上賜福與你。The LORD will decree a blessing on your barns and on everything to which you put your hand; the LORD your God will bless you in the land He is giving you.

⁹你若謹守耶和華─你　神的誡命，遵行他的道，他必照著向你所起的誓立你作為自己的聖民。The LORD will establish you as His holy people, just as He has sworn to you, if you keep the commandments of the LORD your God and walk in His ways.

¹⁰天下萬民見你歸在耶和華的名下，就要懼怕你。Then all the peoples of the earth will see that you are called by the name of the LORD, and they will stand in awe of you.

¹¹你在耶和華向你列祖起誓應許賜你的地上，他必使你身所生的，牲畜所下的，地所產的，都綽綽有餘。The LORD will make you prosper abundantly—in the fruit of your womb, the offspring of your livestock, and the produce of your land—in the land that the LORD swore to your fathers to give you.

¹²耶和華必為你開天上的府庫，按時降雨在你的地上。在你手裡所辦的一切事上賜福與你。你必借給許多國民，卻不致向他們借貸。The LORD will open the heavens, His abundant storehouse, to send rain on your land in season and to bless all the work of your hands. You will lend to many nations, but borrow from none.

^13–14你若聽從耶和華─你　神的誡命，就是我今日所吩咐你的，謹守遵行，不偏左右，也不隨從事奉別神，耶和華就必使你作首不作尾，但居上不居下。」The LORD will make you the head and not the tail; you will only move upward and never downward, if you hear and carefully follow the commandments of the LORD your God, which I am giving you today. Do not turn aside to the right or to the left from any of the words I command you today, and do not go after other gods to serve them.

回到加利利教導人

¹⁴耶穌滿有聖靈的能力，回到加利利；他的名聲就傳遍了四方。Jesus returned to Galilee in the power of the Spirit, and the news about Him spread throughout the surrounding region.

¹⁵他在各會堂裡教訓人，眾人都稱讚他。He taught in their synagogues and was glorified by everyone.

在拿撒勒會堂讀以賽亞書

¹⁶耶穌來到拿撒勒，就是他長大的地方。在安息日，照他平常的規矩進了會堂，站起來要念聖經。Then Jesus came to Nazareth, where He had been brought up. As was His custom, He entered the synagogue on the Sabbath. And when He stood up to read,

¹⁷有人把先知以賽亞的書交給他，他就打開，找到一處寫著說：the scroll of the prophet Isaiah was handed to Him. Unrolling it, He found the place where it was written:

¹⁸主的靈在我身上，因為他用膏膏我，叫我傳福音給貧窮的人；差遣我報告：被擄的得釋放，瞎眼的得看見，叫那受壓制的得自由，“The Spirit of the Lord is on Me, because He has anointed Me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent Me to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to release the oppressed,

¹⁹報告　神悅納人的禧年。to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.”

今天這經應驗了

²⁰於是把書捲起來，交還執事，就坐下。會堂裡的人都定睛看他。Then He rolled up the scroll, returned it to the attendant, and sat down. The eyes of everyone in the synagogue were fixed on Him,

²¹耶穌對他們說：「今天這經應驗在你們耳中了。」and He began by saying, “Today this Scripture is fulfilled in your hearing.”

這不是約瑟的兒子嗎

²²眾人都稱讚他，並希奇他口中所出的恩言；又說：「這不是約瑟的兒子嗎？」All spoke well of Him and marveled at the gracious words that came from His lips. “Isn’t this the son of Joseph?” they asked.

²³耶穌對他們說：「你們必引這俗語向我說：『醫生，你醫治自己吧！我們聽見你在迦百農所行的事，也當行在你自己家鄉裡』」；Jesus said to them, “Surely you will quote this proverb to Me: ‘Physician, heal yourself! Do here in Your hometown what we have heard that You did in Capernaum.’”

²⁴又說：「我實在告訴你們，沒有先知在自己家鄉被人悅納的。Then He added, “Truly I tell you, no prophet is accepted in his hometown.

²⁵我對你們說實話，當以利亞的時候，天閉塞了三年零六個月，遍地有大饑荒，那時，以色列中有許多寡婦，But I tell you truthfully that there were many widows in Israel in the time of Elijah, when the sky was shut for three and a half years and great famine swept over all the land.

²⁶以利亞並沒有奉差往她們一個人那裡去，只奉差往西頓的撒勒法一個寡婦那裡去。Yet Elijah was not sent to any of them, but to the widow of Zarephath in Sidon.

²⁷先知以利沙的時候，以色列中有許多長大痲瘋的，但內中除了敘利亞國的乃縵，沒有一個得潔淨的。」And there were many lepers in Israel in the time of Elisha the prophet. Yet not one of them was cleansed—only Naaman the Syrian.”

眾人要把耶穌推下山崖

²⁸會堂裡的人聽見這話，都怒氣滿胸，On hearing this, all the people in the synagogue were enraged.

²⁹就起來攆他出城（他們的城造在山上）；他們帶他到山崖，要把他推下去。They got up, drove Him out of the town, and led Him to the brow of the hill on which the town was built, in order to throw Him over the cliff.

³⁰他卻從他們中間直行，過去了。But Jesus passed through the crowd and went on His way.
