先知的第一個疑問

¹先知哈巴谷所得的默示。This is the burden that Habakkuk the prophet received in a vision:

²他說：耶和華啊！我呼求你，你不應允，要到幾時呢？我因強暴哀求你，你還不拯救。How long, O LORD, must I call for help but You do not hear, or cry out to You, “Violence!” but You do not save?

³你為何使我看見罪孽？你為何看著奸惡而不理呢？毀滅和強暴在我面前，又起了爭端和相鬥的事。Why do You make me see iniquity? Why do You tolerate wrongdoing? Destruction and violence are before me. Strife is ongoing, and conflict abounds.

⁴因此律法放鬆，公理也不顯明；惡人圍困義人，所以公理顯然顛倒。Therefore the law is paralyzed, and justice never goes forth. For the wicked hem in the righteous, so that justice is perverted.

神要興起迦勒底人

⁵耶和華說：你們要向列國中觀看，大大驚奇；因為在你們的時候，我行一件事，雖有人告訴你們，你們總是不信。“Look at the nations and observe—be utterly astounded! For I am doing a work in your days that you would never believe even if someone told you.

⁶我必興起迦勒底人，就是那殘忍暴躁之民，通行遍地，佔據那不屬自己的住處。For behold, I am raising up the Chaldeans—that ruthless and impetuous nation which marches through the breadth of the earth to seize dwellings not their own.

⁷他威武可畏，判斷和勢力都任意發出。They are dreaded and feared; from themselves they derive justice and sovereignty.

⁸他的馬比豹更快，比晚上的豺狼更猛。馬兵踴躍爭先，都從遠方而來；他們飛跑如鷹抓食，Their horses are swifter than leopards, fiercer than wolves of the night. Their horsemen charge ahead, and their cavalry comes from afar. They fly like a vulture, swooping down to devour.

⁹都為行強暴而來，定住臉面向前，將擄掠的人聚集，多如塵沙。All of them come bent on violence; their hordes advance like the east wind; they gather prisoners like sand.

¹⁰他們譏誚君王，笑話首領，嗤笑一切保障，築壘攻取。They scoff at kings and make rulers an object of scorn. They laugh at every fortress and build up siege ramps to seize it.

¹¹他以自己的勢力為神，像風猛然掃過，顯為有罪。Then they sweep by like the wind and pass through. They are guilty; their own strength is their god.”

先知的第二個疑問

¹²耶和華─我的　神，我的聖者啊，你不是從亙古而有嗎？我們必不致死。耶和華啊，你派定他為要刑罰人；磐石啊，你設立他為要懲治人。Are You not from everlasting, O LORD, my God, my Holy One? We will not die. O LORD, You have appointed them to execute judgment; O Rock, You have established them for correction.

¹³你眼目清潔，不看邪僻，不看奸惡；行詭詐的，你為何看著不理呢？惡人吞滅比自己公義的，你為何靜默不語呢？Your eyes are too pure to look upon evil, and You cannot tolerate wrongdoing. So why do You tolerate the faithless? Why are You silent while the wicked swallow up those more righteous than themselves?

¹⁴你為何使人如海中的魚，又如沒有管轄的爬物呢？You have made men like the fish of the sea, like creeping things that have no ruler.

¹⁵他用鉤鉤住，用網捕獲，用拉網聚集他們；因此，他歡喜快樂，The foe pulls all of them up with a hook; he catches them in his dragnet, and gathers them in his fishing net; so he rejoices gladly.

¹⁶就向網獻祭，向網燒香，因他由此得肥美的分和富裕的食物。Therefore he sacrifices to his dragnet and burns incense to his fishing net, for by these things his portion is sumptuous and his food is rich.

¹⁷他豈可屢次倒空網羅，將列國的人時常殺戮，毫不顧惜呢？Will he, therefore, empty his net and continue to slay nations without mercy?

站在守望所等候

¹我要站在守望所，立在望樓上觀看，看耶和華對我說甚麼話，我可用甚麼話向他訴冤（向他訴冤：或譯回答所疑問的）。I will stand at my guard post and station myself on the ramparts. I will watch to see what He will say to me, and how I should answer when corrected.

將默示明明地寫在版上

²他對我說：將這默示明明地寫在版上，使讀的人容易讀（或譯：隨跑隨讀）。Then the LORD answered me: “Write down this vision and clearly inscribe it on tablets, so that a herald may run with it.

³因為這默示有一定的日期，快要應驗，並不虛謊。雖然遲延，還要等候；因為必然臨到，不再遲延。For the vision awaits an appointed time; it testifies of the end and does not lie. Though it lingers, wait for it, since it will surely come and will not delay.

惟義人因信得生

⁴迦勒底人自高自大，心不正直；惟義人因信得生。Look at the proud one; his soul is not upright—but the righteous will live by faith—

⁵迦勒底人因酒詭詐，狂傲，不住在家中，擴充心欲，好像陰間。他如死不能知足，聚集萬國，堆積萬民都歸自己。and wealth indeed betrays him. He is an arrogant man never at rest. He enlarges his appetite like Sheol, and like Death, he is never satisfied. He gathers all the nations to himself and collects all the peoples as his own.

禍哉，增添不屬自己的

⁶這些國的民豈不都要提起詩歌並俗語譏刺他說：禍哉！迦勒底人，你增添不屬自己的財物，多多取人的當頭，要到幾時為止呢？Will not all of these take up a taunt against him, speaking with mockery and derision: ‘Woe to him who amasses what is not his and makes himself rich with many loans! How long will this go on?’

⁷咬傷你的豈不忽然起來，擾害你的豈不興起，你就作他們的擄物嗎？Will not your creditors suddenly arise and those who disturb you awaken? Then you will become their prey.

⁸因你搶奪許多的國，殺人流血，向國內的城並城中一切居民施行強暴，所以各國剩下的民都必搶奪你。Because you have plundered many nations, the remnant of the people will plunder you—because of your bloodshed against man and your violence against the land, the city, and all their dwellers.

禍哉，積蓄不義之財

⁹為本家積蓄不義之財、在高處搭窩、指望免災的有禍了！Woe to him who builds his house by unjust gain, to place his nest on high and escape the hand of disaster!

¹⁰你圖謀剪除多國的民，犯了罪，使你的家蒙羞，自害己命。You have plotted shame for your house by cutting off many peoples and forfeiting your life.

¹¹牆裡的石頭必呼叫；房內的棟樑必應聲。For the stones will cry out from the wall, and the rafters will echo it from the woodwork.

禍哉，以人血建城

¹²以人血建城、以罪孽立邑的有禍了！Woe to him who builds a city with bloodshed and establishes a town by iniquity!

¹³眾民所勞碌得來的被火焚燒，列國由勞乏而得的歸於虛空，不都是出於萬軍之耶和華嗎？Is it not indeed from the LORD of Hosts that the labor of the people only feeds the fire, and the nations weary themselves in vain?

¹⁴認識耶和華榮耀的知識要充滿遍地，好像水充滿洋海一般。For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD as the waters cover the sea.

禍哉，使人喝醉

¹⁵給人酒喝、又加上毒物、使他喝醉、好看見他下體的有禍了！Woe to him who gives drink to his neighbors, pouring it from the wineskin until they are drunk, in order to gaze at their nakedness!

¹⁶你滿受羞辱，不得榮耀；你也喝吧，顯出是未受割禮的！耶和華右手的杯必傳到你那裡；你的榮耀就變為大大地羞辱。You will be filled with shame instead of glory. You too must drink and expose your uncircumcision! The cup in the LORD’s right hand will come around to you, and utter disgrace will cover your glory.

¹⁷你向黎巴嫩行強暴與殘害驚嚇野獸的事必遮蓋你；因你殺人流血，向國內的城並城中一切居民施行強暴。For your violence against Lebanon will overwhelm you, and the destruction of animals will terrify you, because of your bloodshed against men and your violence against the land, the city, and all their dwellers.

禍哉，向啞巴偶像說話

¹⁸雕刻的偶像，人將它刻出來，有甚麼益處呢？鑄造的偶像就是虛謊的師傅。製造者倚靠這啞巴偶像有甚麼益處呢？What use is an idol, that a craftsman should carve it—or an image, a teacher of lies? For its maker trusts in his own creation; he makes idols that cannot speak.

¹⁹對木偶說：醒起！對啞巴石像說：起來！那人有禍了！這個還能教訓人嗎？看哪，是包裹金銀的，其中毫無氣息。Woe to him who says to wood, ‘Awake!’ or to silent stone, ‘Arise!’ Can it give guidance? Behold, it is overlaid with gold and silver, yet there is no breath in it at all.”

²⁰惟耶和華在他的聖殿中；全地的人都當在他面前肅敬靜默。But the LORD is in His holy temple; let all the earth be silent before Him.

哈巴谷的禱告

¹先知哈巴谷的禱告，調用流離歌。This is a prayer of Habakkuk the prophet, according to Shigionoth:

²耶和華啊，我聽見你的名聲（或譯：言語）就懼怕。耶和華啊，求你在這些年間復興你的作為，在這些年間顯明出來；在發怒的時候以憐憫為念。O LORD, I have heard the report of You; I stand in awe, O LORD, of Your deeds. Revive them in these years; make them known in these years. In Your wrath, remember mercy!

神從提幔而來

³神從提幔而來；聖者從巴蘭山臨到。（細拉）他的榮光遮蔽諸天；頌讚充滿大地。God came from Teman, and the Holy One from Mount Paran. Selah His glory covered the heavens, and His praise filled the earth.

⁴他的輝煌如同日光；從他手裡射出光線，在其中藏著他的能力。His radiance was like the sunlight; rays flashed from His hand, where His power is hidden.

⁵在他前面有瘟疫流行；在他腳下有熱症發出。Plague went before Him, and fever followed in His steps.

⁶他站立，量了大地（或譯：使地震動），觀看，趕散萬民。永久的山崩裂；長存的嶺塌陷；他的作為與古時一樣。He stood and measured the earth; He looked and startled the nations; the ancient mountains crumbled; the perpetual hills collapsed. His ways are everlasting.

⁷我見古珊的帳棚遭難，米甸的幔子戰兢。I saw the tents of Cushan in distress; the curtains of Midian were trembling.

⁸耶和華啊，你乘在馬上，坐在得勝的車上，豈是不喜悅江河、向江河發怒氣、向洋海發憤恨嗎？Were You angry at the rivers, O LORD? Was Your wrath against the streams? Did You rage against the sea when You rode on Your horses, on Your chariots of salvation?

⁹你的弓全然顯露，向眾支派所起的誓都是可信的。（細拉）你以江河分開大地。You brandished Your bow; You called for many arrows. Selah You split the earth with rivers.

¹⁰山嶺見你，無不戰懼；大水氾濫過去，深淵發聲，洶湧翻騰（原文是向上舉手）。The mountains saw You and quaked; torrents of water swept by. The deep roared with its voice and lifted its hands on high.

¹¹因你的箭射出發光，你的槍閃出光耀，日月都在本宮停住。Sun and moon stood still in their places at the flash of Your flying arrows, at the brightness of Your shining spear.

¹²你發忿恨通行大地，發怒氣責打列國，如同打糧。You marched across the earth with fury; You threshed the nations in wrath.

¹³你出來要拯救你的百姓，拯救你的受膏者，打破惡人家長的頭，露出他的腳（原文是根基），直到頸項。（細拉）You went forth for the salvation of Your people, to save Your anointed. You crushed the head of the house of the wicked and stripped him from head to toe. Selah

¹⁴你用敵人的戈矛刺透他戰士的頭；他們來如旋風，要將我們分散。他們所喜愛的是暗中吞吃貧民。With his own spear You pierced his head, when his warriors stormed out to scatter us, gloating as though ready to secretly devour the weak.

¹⁵你乘馬踐踏紅海，就是踐踏洶湧的大水。You trampled the sea with Your horses, churning the great waters.

¹⁶我聽見耶和華的聲音，身體戰兢，嘴唇發顫，骨中朽爛；我在所立之處戰兢。我只可安靜等候災難之日臨到，犯境之民上來。I heard and trembled within; my lips quivered at the sound. Decay entered my bones; I trembled where I stood. Yet I must wait patiently for the day of distress to come upon the people who invade us.

然而，我要因耶和華歡欣

¹⁷雖然無花果樹不發旺，葡萄樹不結果，橄欖樹也不效力，田地不出糧食，圈中絕了羊，棚內也沒有牛；Though the fig tree does not bud and no fruit is on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though the sheep are cut off from the fold and no cattle are in the stalls,

¹⁸然而，我要因耶和華歡欣，因救我的　神喜樂。yet I will exult in the LORD; I will rejoice in the God of my salvation!

¹⁹主耶和華是我的力量；他使我的腳快如母鹿的蹄，又使我穩行在高處。這歌交與伶長，用絲弦的樂器。GOD the Lord is my strength; He makes my feet like those of a deer; He makes me walk upon the heights! For the choirmaster. With stringed instruments.

掌管末了七災的天使

¹我又看見在天上有異象，大而且奇，就是七位天使掌管末了的七災，因為　神的大怒在這七災中發盡了。Then I saw another great and marvelous sign in heaven: seven angels with the seven final plagues, with which the wrath of God is completed.

摩西的歌和羔羊的歌

²我看見彷彿有玻璃海，其中有火攙雜。又看見那些勝了獸和獸的像並牠名字數目的人，都站在玻璃海上，拿著　神的琴，And I saw something like a sea of glass mixed with fire, beside which stood those who had conquered the beast and its image and the number of its name. They were holding harps from God,

³唱　神僕人摩西的歌和羔羊的歌，說：主　神─全能者啊，你的作為大哉！奇哉！萬世（或譯：國）之王啊，你的道途義哉！誠哉！and they sang the song of God’s servant Moses and of the Lamb: “Great and wonderful are Your works, O Lord God Almighty! Just and true are Your ways, O King of the nations!

⁴主啊，誰敢不敬畏你，不將榮耀歸與你的名呢？因為獨有你是聖的。萬民都要來在你面前敬拜，因你公義的作為已經顯出來了。Who will not fear You, O Lord, and glorify Your name? For You alone are holy. All nations will come and worship before You, for Your righteous acts have been revealed.”

天上的殿開了

⁵此後，我看見在天上那存法櫃的殿開了。After this I looked, and the temple—the tabernacle of the Testimony—was opened in heaven.

⁶那掌管七災的七位天使從殿中出來，穿著潔白光明的細麻衣（細麻衣：有古卷是寶石），胸間束著金帶。And out of the temple came the seven angels with the seven plagues, dressed in clean and bright linen and girded with golden sashes around their chests.

⁷四活物中有一個把盛滿了活到永永遠遠之　神大怒的七個金碗給了那七位天使。Then one of the four living creatures gave the seven angels seven golden bowls full of the wrath of God, who lives forever and ever.

⁸因　神的榮耀和能力，殿中充滿了煙。於是沒有人能以進殿，直等到那七位天使所降的七災完畢了。And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God and from His power; and no one could enter the temple until the seven plagues of the seven angels were completed.

倒出神大怒的七碗

¹我聽見有大聲音從殿中出來，向那七位天使說：「你們去，把盛　神大怒的七碗倒在地上。」Then I heard a loud voice from the temple saying to the seven angels, “Go, pour out on the earth the seven bowls of God’s wrath.”

第一碗：惡瘡

²第一位天使便去，把碗倒在地上，就有惡而且毒的瘡生在那些有獸印記、拜獸像的人身上。So the first angel went and poured out his bowl on the earth, and loathsome, malignant sores broke out on those who had the mark of the beast and worshiped its image.

第二碗：海變成血

³第二位天使把碗倒在海裡，海就變成血，好像死人的血，海中的活物都死了。And the second angel poured out his bowl into the sea, and it turned to blood like that of the dead, and every living thing in the sea died.

第三碗：江河變成血

⁴第三位天使把碗倒在江河與眾水的泉源裡，水就變成血了。And the third angel poured out his bowl into the rivers and springs of water, and they turned to blood.

⁵我聽見掌管眾水的天使說：昔在、今在的聖者啊，你這樣判斷是公義的；And I heard the angel of the waters say: “Righteous are You, O Holy One, who is and was, because You have brought these judgments.

⁶他們曾流聖徒與先知的血，現在你給他們血喝；這是他們所該受的。For they have spilled the blood of saints and prophets, and You have given them blood to drink, as they deserve.”

⁷我又聽見祭壇中有聲音說：是的，主　神─全能者啊，你的判斷義哉！誠哉！And I heard the altar reply: “Yes, Lord God Almighty, true and just are Your judgments.”

第四碗：日頭烤人

⁸第四位天使把碗倒在日頭上，叫日頭能用火烤人。Then the fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and it was given power to scorch the people with fire.

⁹人被大熱所烤，就褻瀆那有權掌管這些災的　神之名，並不悔改將榮耀歸給　神。And the people were scorched by intense heat, and they cursed the name of God, who had authority over these plagues. Yet they did not repent and give Him glory.

第五碗：獸國黑暗

¹⁰第五位天使把碗倒在獸的座位上，獸的國就黑暗了。人因疼痛就咬自己的舌頭；And the fifth angel poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and its kingdom was plunged into darkness, and men began to gnaw their tongues in anguish

¹¹又因所受的疼痛，和生的瘡，就褻瀆天上的　神，並不悔改所行的。and curse the God of heaven for their pains and sores. Yet they did not repent of their deeds.

第六碗：眾王聚集

¹²第六位天使把碗倒在幼發拉底大河上，河水就乾了，要給那從日出之地所來的眾王預備道路。And the sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up to prepare the way for the kings of the East.

¹³我又看見三個污穢的靈，好像青蛙，從龍口、獸口並假先知的口中出來。And I saw three unclean spirits that looked like frogs coming out of the mouths of the dragon, the beast, and the false prophet.

¹⁴他們本是鬼魔的靈，施行奇事，出去到普天下眾王那裡，叫他們在　神全能者的大日聚集爭戰。These are demonic spirits that perform signs and go out to all the kings of the earth, to assemble them for battle on the great day of God the Almighty.

我來像賊一樣

¹⁵（看哪，我來像賊一樣。那警醒、看守衣服、免得赤身而行、叫人見他羞恥的有福了！）“Behold, I am coming like a thief. Blessed is the one who remains awake and clothed, so that he will not go naked and let his shame be exposed.”

¹⁶那三個鬼魔便叫眾王聚集在一處，希伯來話叫作哈米吉多頓。And they assembled the kings in the place that in Hebrew is called Armageddon.

第七碗：成了

¹⁷第七位天使把碗倒在空中，就有大聲音從殿中的寶座上出來，說：「成了！」Then the seventh angel poured out his bowl into the air, and a loud voice came from the throne in the temple, saying, “It is done!”

¹⁸又有閃電、聲音、雷轟、大地震，自從地上有人以來，沒有這樣大、這樣厲害的地震。And there were flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals of thunder, and a great earthquake the likes of which had not occurred since men were upon the earth—so mighty was the great quake.

¹⁹那大城裂為三段，列國的城也都倒塌了；　神也想起巴比倫大城來，要把那盛自己烈怒的酒杯遞給他。The great city was split into three parts, and the cities of the nations collapsed. And God remembered Babylon the great and gave her the cup of the wine of the fury of His wrath.

²⁰各海島都逃避了，眾山也不見了。Then every island fled, and no mountain could be found.

²¹又有大雹子從天落在人身上，每一個約重一他連得（一他連得約有九十斤）。為這雹子的災極大，人就褻瀆　神。And great hailstones weighing almost a hundred pounds each rained down on them from above. And men cursed God for the plague of hail, because it was so horrendous.
