只認識你們，所以追討

¹以色列人哪，你們全家是我從埃及地領上來的，當聽耶和華攻擊你們的話：Hear this word that the LORD has spoken against you, O children of Israel, against the whole family that I brought up out of the land of Egypt:

²在地上萬族中，我只認識你們；因此，我必追討你們的一切罪孽。“Only you have I known from all the families of the earth; therefore I will punish you for all your iniquities.”

³二人若不同心，豈能同行呢？Can two walk together without agreeing where to go?

⁴獅子若非抓食，豈能在林中咆哮呢？少壯獅子若無所得，豈能從洞中發聲呢？Does a lion roar in the forest when he has no prey? Does a young lion growl in his den if he has caught nothing?

⁵若沒有機檻，雀鳥豈能陷在網羅裡呢？網羅若無所得，豈能從地上翻起呢？Does a bird land in a snare where no bait has been set? Does a trap spring from the ground when it has nothing to catch?

⁶城中若吹角，百姓豈不驚恐呢？災禍若臨到一城，豈非耶和華所降的嗎？If a ram’s horn sounds in a city, do the people not tremble? If calamity comes to a city, has not the LORD caused it?

⁷主耶和華若不將奧祕指示他的僕人─眾先知，就一無所行。Surely the Lord GOD does nothing without revealing His plan to His servants the prophets.

⁸獅子吼叫，誰不懼怕呢？主耶和華發命，誰能不說預言呢？The lion has roared—who will not fear? The Lord GOD has spoken—who will not prophesy?

撒馬利亞的擾亂與欺壓

⁹要在亞實突的宮殿中和埃及地的宮殿裡傳揚說：你們要聚集在撒馬利亞的山上，就看見城中有何等大的擾亂與欺壓的事。Proclaim to the citadels of Ashdod and to the citadels of Egypt: “Assemble on the mountains of Samaria; see the great unrest in the city and the acts of oppression in her midst.”

¹⁰那些以強暴搶奪財物、積蓄在自己家中的人不知道行正直的事。這是耶和華說的。“For they know not how to do right,” declares the LORD. “They store up violence and destruction in their citadels.”

¹¹所以主耶和華如此說：敵人必來圍攻這地，使你的勢力衰微，搶掠你的家宅。Therefore this is what the Lord GOD says: “An enemy will surround the land; he will pull down your strongholds and plunder your citadels.”

從獅子口中搶回的殘餘

¹²耶和華如此說：「牧人怎樣從獅子口中搶回兩條羊腿或半個耳朵，住撒馬利亞的以色列人躺臥在床角上或鋪繡花毯的榻上，他們得救也不過如此。」This is what the LORD says: “As the shepherd snatches from the mouth of the lion two legs or a piece of an ear, so the Israelites dwelling in Samaria will be rescued having just the corner of a bed or the cushion of a couch.

伯特利的祭壇必被毀

¹³主耶和華─萬軍之　神說：當聽這話，警戒雅各家。Hear and testify against the house of Jacob, declares the Lord GOD, the God of Hosts.

¹⁴我討以色列罪的日子，也要討伯特利祭壇的罪；壇角必被砍下，墜落於地。On the day I punish Israel for their transgressions, I will visit destruction on the altars of Bethel; the horns of the altar will be cut off, and they will fall to the ground.

¹⁵我要拆毀過冬和過夏的房屋。象牙的房屋也必毀滅；高大的房屋都歸無有。這是耶和華說的。I will tear down the winter house along with the summer house; the houses of ivory will also perish, and the great houses will come to an end,” declares the LORD.

巴珊的母牛

¹你們住撒馬利亞山如巴珊母牛的啊，當聽我的話─你們欺負貧寒的，壓碎窮乏的，對家主說：拿酒來，我們喝吧！Hear this word, you cows of Bashan on Mount Samaria, you women who oppress the poor and crush the needy, who say to your husbands, “Bring us more to drink.”

²主耶和華指著自己的聖潔起誓說：日子快到，人必用鉤子將你們鉤去，用魚鉤將你們餘剩的鉤去。The Lord GOD has sworn by His holiness: “Behold, the days are coming when you will be taken away with hooks, and your posterity with fishhooks.

³你們各人必從破口直往前行，投入哈門。這是耶和華說的。You will go out through broken walls, each one straight ahead of her, and you will be cast out toward Harmon,” declares the LORD.

任你們往伯特利去犯罪

⁴以色列人哪，任你們往伯特利去犯罪，到吉甲加增罪過；每日早晨獻上你們的祭物，每三日奉上你們的十分之一。“Go to Bethel and transgress; rebel even more at Gilgal! Bring your sacrifices every morning, your tithes every three days.

⁵任你們獻有酵的感謝祭，把甘心祭宣傳報告給眾人，因為是你們所喜愛的。這是主耶和華說的。Offer leavened bread as a thank offering, and loudly proclaim your freewill offerings. For that is what you children of Israel love to do,” declares the Lord GOD.

你們仍不歸向我

⁶我使你們在一切城中牙齒乾淨，在你們各處糧食缺乏，你們仍不歸向我。這是耶和華說的。“I afflicted all your cities with cleanness of teeth and all your towns with lack of bread, yet you did not return to Me,” declares the LORD.

⁷在收割的前三月，我使雨停止，不降在你們那裡；我降雨在這城，不降雨在那城；這塊地有雨，那塊地無雨；無雨的就枯乾了。“I also withheld the rain from you when the harvest was three months away. I sent rain on one city but withheld it from another. One field received rain; another without rain withered.

⁸這樣，兩三城的人湊到一城去找水，卻喝不足；你們仍不歸向我。這是耶和華說的。People staggered from city to city for water to drink, but they were not satisfied; yet you did not return to Me,” declares the LORD.

⁹我以旱風、霉爛攻擊你們，你們園中許多菜蔬、葡萄樹、無花果樹、橄欖樹都被剪蟲所吃；你們仍不歸向我。這是耶和華說的。“I struck you with blight and mildew in your growing gardens and vineyards; the locust devoured your fig and olive trees, yet you did not return to Me,” declares the LORD.

¹⁰我降瘟疫在你們中間，像在埃及一樣；用刀殺戮你們的少年人，使你們的馬匹被擄掠，營中屍首的臭氣撲鼻；你們仍不歸向我。這是耶和華說的。“I sent plagues among you like those of Egypt; I killed your young men with the sword, along with your captured horses. I filled your nostrils with the stench of your camp, yet you did not return to Me,” declares the LORD.

¹¹我傾覆你們中間的城邑，如同我從前傾覆所多瑪、蛾摩拉一樣，使你們好像從火中抽出來的一根柴；你們仍不歸向我。這是耶和華說的。“Some of you I overthrew as I overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah, and you were like a firebrand snatched from a blaze, yet you did not return to Me,” declares the LORD.

預備迎見你的神

¹²以色列啊，我必向你如此行；以色列啊，我既這樣行，你當預備迎見你的　神。“Therefore, that is what I will do to you, O Israel, and since I will do this to you, prepare to meet your God, O Israel!

¹³那創山、造風、將心意指示人、使晨光變為幽暗、腳踏在地之高處的，他的名是耶和華─萬軍之　神。For behold, He who forms the mountains, who creates the wind and reveals His thoughts to man, who turns the dawn to darkness and strides on the heights of the earth—the LORD, the God of Hosts, is His name.”

為以色列作的哀歌

¹以色列家啊，要聽我為你們所作的哀歌：Hear this word, O house of Israel, this lamentation I take up against you:

²以色列民（原文是處女）跌倒，不得再起；躺在地上，無人攙扶。“Fallen is Virgin Israel, never to rise again. She lies abandoned on her land, with no one to raise her up.”

³主耶和華如此說：以色列家的城發出一千兵的，只剩一百；發出一百的，只剩十個。This is what the Lord GOD says: “The city that marches out a thousand strong will have but a hundred left, and the one that marches out a hundred strong will have but ten left in the house of Israel.”

尋求我，就必存活

⁴耶和華向以色列家如此說：你們要尋求我，就必存活。For this is what the LORD says to the house of Israel: “Seek Me and live!

⁵不要往伯特利尋求，不要進入吉甲，不要過到別是巴；因為吉甲必被擄掠，伯特利也必歸於無有。Do not seek Bethel or go to Gilgal; do not journey to Beersheba, for Gilgal will surely go into exile, and Bethel will come to nothing.

⁶要尋求耶和華，就必存活，免得他在約瑟家像火發出，在伯特利焚燒，無人撲滅。Seek the LORD and live, or He will sweep like fire through the house of Joseph; it will devour everything, with no one at Bethel to extinguish it.

⁷你們這使公平變為茵蔯、將公義丟棄於地的，There are those who turn justice into wormwood and cast righteousness to the ground.

⁸要尋求那造昴星和參星，使死蔭變為晨光，使白日變為黑夜，命海水來澆在地上的─耶和華是他的名；He who made the Pleiades and Orion, who turns darkness into dawn and darkens day into night, who summons the waters of the sea and pours them over the face of the earth—the LORD is His name—

⁹他使力強的忽遭滅亡，以致保障遭遇毀壞。He flashes destruction on the strong, so that fury comes upon the stronghold.

在城門口屈枉窮人

¹⁰你們怨恨那在城門口責備人的，憎惡那說正直話的。There are those who hate the one who reproves in the gate and despise him who speaks with integrity.

¹¹你們踐踏貧民，向他們勒索麥子；你們用鑿過的石頭建造房屋，卻不得住在其內；栽種美好的葡萄園，卻不得喝所出的酒。Therefore, because you trample on the poor and exact from him a tax of grain, you will never live in the stone houses you have built; you will never drink the wine from the lush vineyards you have planted.

¹²我知道你們的罪過何等多，你們的罪惡何等大。你們苦待義人，收受賄賂，在城門口屈枉窮乏人。For I know that your transgressions are many and your sins are numerous. You oppress the righteous by taking bribes; you deprive the poor of justice in the gate.

¹³所以通達人見這樣的時勢必靜默不言，因為時勢真惡。Therefore, the prudent keep silent in such times, for the days are evil.

¹⁴你們要求善，不要求惡，就必存活。這樣，耶和華─萬軍之　神必照你們所說的與你們同在。Seek good, not evil, so that you may live. And the LORD, the God of Hosts, will be with you, as you have claimed.

¹⁶主耶和華─萬軍之　神如此說：在一切寬闊處必有哀號的聲音；在各街市上必有人說：哀哉！哀哉！又必叫農夫來哭號，叫善唱哀歌的來舉哀。Therefore this is what the LORD, the God of Hosts, the Lord, says: “There will be wailing in all the public squares and cries of ‘Alas! Alas!’ in all the streets. The farmer will be summoned to mourn, and the mourners to wail.

¹⁷在各葡萄園必有哀號的聲音，因為我必從你中間經過。這是耶和華說的。There will be wailing in all the vineyards, for I will pass through your midst,” says the LORD.

耶和華的日子是黑暗

¹⁸想望耶和華日子來到的有禍了！你們為何想望耶和華的日子呢？那日黑暗沒有光明，Woe to you who long for the Day of the LORD! What will the Day of the LORD be for you? It will be darkness and not light.

¹⁹景況好像人躲避獅子又遇見熊，或是進房屋以手靠牆，就被蛇咬。It will be like a man who flees from a lion, only to encounter a bear, or who enters his house and rests his hand against the wall, only to be bitten by a snake.

²⁰耶和華的日子不是黑暗沒有光明嗎？不是幽暗毫無光輝嗎？Will not the Day of the LORD be darkness and not light, even gloom with no brightness in it?

惟願公平如大水滾滾

²¹我厭惡你們的節期，也不喜悅你們的嚴肅會。“I hate, I despise your feasts! I cannot stand the stench of your solemn assemblies.

²²你們雖然向我獻燔祭和素祭，我卻不悅納，也不顧你們用肥畜獻的平安祭；Even though you offer Me burnt offerings and grain offerings, I will not accept them; for your peace offerings of fattened cattle I will have no regard.

²³要使你們歌唱的聲音遠離我，因為我不聽你們彈琴的響聲。Take away from Me the noise of your songs! I will not listen to the music of your harps.

²⁴惟願公平如大水滾滾，使公義如江河滔滔。But let justice roll on like a river, and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream.

²⁵「以色列家啊，你們在曠野四十年，豈是將祭物和供物獻給我呢？Did you bring Me sacrifices and offerings forty years in the wilderness, O house of Israel?

²⁶你們抬著為自己所造之摩洛的帳幕和偶像的龕，並你們的神星。You have taken along Sakkuth your king and Kaiwan your star god, the idols you made for yourselves.

²⁷所以我要把你們擄到大馬士革以外。」這是耶和華、名為萬軍之　神說的。Therefore I will send you into exile beyond Damascus,” says the LORD, whose name is the God of Hosts.

第七印：天上寂靜

¹羔羊揭開第七印的時候，天上寂靜約有二刻。When the Lamb opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour.

七位天使拿著七枝號

²我看見那站在　神面前的七位天使，有七枝號賜給他們。And I saw the seven angels who stand before God, and they were given seven trumpets.

聖徒的祈禱與香

³另有一位天使，拿著金香爐來，站在祭壇旁邊。有許多香賜給他，要和眾聖徒的祈禱一同獻在寶座前的金壇上。Then another angel, who had a golden censer, came and stood at the altar. He was given much incense to offer, along with the prayers of all the saints, on the golden altar before the throne.

⁴那香的煙和眾聖徒的祈禱從天使的手中一同升到　神面前。And the smoke of the incense, together with the prayers of the saints, rose up before God from the hand of the angel.

⁵天使拿著香爐，盛滿了壇上的火，倒在地上；隨有雷轟、大聲、閃電、地震。Then the angel took the censer, filled it with fire from the altar, and hurled it to the earth; and there were peals of thunder, rumblings, flashes of lightning, and an earthquake.

⁶拿著七枝號的七位天使就預備要吹。And the seven angels with the seven trumpets prepared to sound them.

第一號：地被燒了

⁷第一位天使吹號，就有雹子與火攙著血丟在地上；地的三分之一和樹的三分之一被燒了，一切的青草也被燒了。Then the first angel sounded his trumpet, and hail and fire mixed with blood were hurled down upon the earth. A third of the earth was burned up, along with a third of the trees and all the green grass.

第二號：海變成血

⁸第二位天使吹號，就有彷彿火燒著的大山扔在海中；海的三分之一變成血，Then the second angel sounded his trumpet, and something like a great mountain burning with fire was thrown into the sea. A third of the sea turned to blood,

⁹海中的活物死了三分之一，船隻也壞了三分之一。a third of the living creatures in the sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed.

第三號：茵蔯星

¹⁰第三位天使吹號，就有燒著的大星，好像火把從天上落下來，落在江河的三分之一和眾水的泉源上。Then the third angel sounded his trumpet, and a great star burning like a torch fell from heaven and landed on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water.

¹¹（這星名叫「茵蔯」。）眾水的三分之一變為茵蔯，因水變苦，就死了許多人。The name of the star is Wormwood. A third of the waters turned bitter like wormwood oil, and many people died from the bitter waters.

第四號：日月星黑暗

¹²第四位天使吹號，日頭的三分之一、月亮的三分之一、星辰的三分之一都被擊打，以致日月星的三分之一黑暗了，白晝的三分之一沒有光，黑夜也是這樣。Then the fourth angel sounded his trumpet, and a third of the sun and moon and stars were struck. A third of the stars were darkened, a third of the day was without light, and a third of the night as well.
