比加轄作以色列王

²²米拿現與他列祖同睡。他兒子比加轄接續他作王。And Menahem rested with his fathers, and his son Pekahiah reigned in his place.

²³猶大王亞撒利雅五十年，米拿現的兒子比加轄在撒馬利亞登基作以色列王二年。In the fiftieth year of Azariah’s reign over Judah, Pekahiah son of Menahem became king of Israel and reigned in Samaria two years.

²⁴他行耶和華眼中看為惡的事，不離開尼八的兒子耶羅波安使以色列人陷在罪裡的那罪。And he did evil in the sight of the LORD and did not turn away from the sins that Jeroboam son of Nebat had caused Israel to commit.

²⁵比加轄的將軍、利瑪利的兒子比加背叛他，在撒馬利亞王宮裡的衛所殺了他。亞珥歌伯和亞利耶並基列的五十人幫助比加；比加擊殺他，篡了他的位。Then his officer, Pekah son of Remaliah, conspired against him along with Argob, Arieh, and fifty men of Gilead. And at the citadel of the king’s palace in Samaria, Pekah struck down and killed Pekahiah and reigned in his place.

²⁶比加轄其餘的事，凡他所行的都寫在以色列諸王記上。As for the rest of the acts of Pekahiah, along with all his accomplishments, they are indeed written in the Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel.

比加作王，北方居民被擄

²⁷猶大王亞撒利雅五十二年，利瑪利的兒子比加在撒馬利亞登基作以色列王二十年。In the fifty-second year of Azariah’s reign over Judah, Pekah son of Remaliah became king of Israel, and he reigned in Samaria twenty years.

²⁸他行耶和華眼中看為惡的事，不離開尼八的兒子耶羅波安使以色列人陷在罪裡的那罪。And he did evil in the sight of the LORD and did not turn away from the sins that Jeroboam son of Nebat had caused Israel to commit.

²⁹以色列王比加年間，亞述王提革拉．毘列色來奪了以雲、亞伯．伯．瑪迦、亞挪、基低斯、夏瑣、基列、加利利，和拿弗他利全地，將這些地方的居民都擄到亞述去了。In the days of Pekah king of Israel, Tiglath-pileser king of Assyria came and captured Ijon, Abel-beth-maacah, Janoah, Kedesh, Hazor, Gilead, and Galilee, including all the land of Naphtali, and he took the people as captives to Assyria.

何細亞殺比加

³⁰烏西雅的兒子約坦二十年，以拉的兒子何細亞背叛利瑪利的兒子比加，擊殺他，篡了他的位。Then Hoshea son of Elah led a conspiracy against Pekah son of Remaliah. In the twentieth year of Jotham son of Uzziah, Hoshea attacked Pekah, killed him, and reigned in his place.

³¹比加其餘的事，凡他所行的都寫在以色列諸王記上。As for the rest of the acts of Pekah, along with all his accomplishments, they are indeed written in the Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel.

猶大王約坦

³²以色列王利瑪利的兒子比加第二年，猶大王烏西雅的兒子約坦登基。In the second year of the reign of Pekah son of Remaliah over Israel, Jotham son of Uzziah became king of Judah.

³³他登基的時候年二十五歲，在耶路撒冷作王十六年。他母親名叫耶路沙，是撒督的女兒。He was twenty-five years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem sixteen years. His mother’s name was Jerusha daughter of Zadok.

³⁴約坦行耶和華眼中看為正的事，效法他父親烏西雅一切所行的；And he did what was right in the eyes of the LORD, just as his father Uzziah had done.

³⁵只是邱壇還沒有廢去，百姓仍在那裡獻祭燒香。約坦建立耶和華殿的上門。Nevertheless, the high places were not taken away; the people continued sacrificing and burning incense there. Jotham rebuilt the Upper Gate of the house of the LORD.

³⁶約坦其餘的事，凡他所行的都寫在猶大列王記上。As for the rest of the acts of Jotham, along with his accomplishments, are they not written in the Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Judah?

³⁷在那些日子，耶和華才使亞蘭王利汛和利瑪利的兒子比加去攻擊猶大。(In those days the LORD began to send Rezin king of Aram and Pekah son of Remaliah against Judah.)

³⁸約坦與他列祖同睡，葬在他祖大衛城他列祖的墳地裡。他兒子亞哈斯接續他作王。And Jotham rested with his fathers and was buried with them in the City of David his father. And his son Ahaz reigned in his place.

猶大王亞哈斯

¹利瑪利的兒子比加十七年，猶大王約坦的兒子亞哈斯登基。In the seventeenth year of Pekah son of Remaliah, Ahaz son of Jotham became king of Judah.

²他登基的時候年二十歲，在耶路撒冷作王十六年；不像他祖大衛行耶和華─他　神眼中看為正的事，Ahaz was twenty years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem sixteen years. And unlike David his father, he did not do what was right in the eyes of the LORD his God.

³卻效法以色列諸王所行的，又照著耶和華從以色列人面前趕出的外邦人所行可憎的事，使他的兒子經火，Instead, he walked in the ways of the kings of Israel and even sacrificed his son in the fire, according to the abominations of the nations that the LORD had driven out before the Israelites.

⁴並在邱壇上、山岡上、各青翠樹下獻祭燒香。And he sacrificed and burned incense on the high places, on the hills, and under every green tree.

亞哈斯向亞述求救

⁵亞蘭王利汛和以色列王利瑪利的兒子比加上來攻打耶路撒冷，圍困亞哈斯，卻不能勝他。Then Rezin king of Aram and Pekah son of Remaliah king of Israel came up to wage war against Jerusalem. They besieged Ahaz but could not overcome him.

⁶當時亞蘭王利汛收回以拉他歸與亞蘭，將猶大人從以拉他趕出去。亞蘭人（有譯以東人的）就來到以拉他，住在那裡，直到今日。At that time Rezin king of Aram recovered Elath for Aram, drove out the men of Judah, and sent the Edomites into Elath, where they live to this day.

⁷亞哈斯差遣使者去見亞述王提革拉．毘列色，說：「我是你的僕人、你的兒子。現在亞蘭王和以色列王攻擊我，求你來救我脫離他們的手。」So Ahaz sent messengers to Tiglath-pileser king of Assyria, saying, “I am your servant and your son. Come up and save me from the hands of the kings of Aram and Israel, who are rising up against me.”

⁸亞哈斯將耶和華殿裡和王宮府庫裡所有的金銀都送給亞述王為禮物。Ahaz also took the silver and gold found in the house of the LORD and in the treasuries of the king’s palace, and he sent it as a gift to the king of Assyria.

⁹亞述王應允了他，就上去攻打大馬士革，將城攻取，殺了利汛，把居民擄到吉珥。So the king of Assyria responded to him, marched up to Damascus, and captured it. He took its people to Kir as captives and put Rezin to death.

照大馬士革的樣式造壇

¹⁰亞哈斯王上大馬士革去迎接亞述王提革拉．毘列色，在大馬士革看見一座壇，就照壇的規模樣式作法畫了圖樣，送到祭司烏利亞那裡。Then King Ahaz went to Damascus to meet Tiglath-pileser king of Assyria. On seeing the altar in Damascus, King Ahaz sent Uriah the priest a model of the altar and complete plans for its construction.

¹¹祭司烏利亞照著亞哈斯王從大馬士革送來的圖樣，在亞哈斯王沒有從大馬士革回來之先，建築一座壇。And Uriah the priest built the altar according to all the instructions King Ahaz had sent from Damascus, and he completed it before King Ahaz returned.

¹²王從大馬士革回來看見壇，就近前來，在壇上獻祭；When the king came back from Damascus and saw the altar, he approached it and presented offerings on it.

¹³燒燔祭、素祭、澆奠祭，將平安祭牲的血灑在壇上，He offered his burnt offering and his grain offering, poured out his drink offering, and splattered the blood of his peace offerings on the altar.

¹⁴又將耶和華面前的銅壇從耶和華殿和新壇的中間搬到新壇的北邊。He also took the bronze altar that stood before the LORD from the front of the temple (between the new altar and the house of the LORD) and he put it on the north side of the new altar.

¹⁵亞哈斯王吩咐祭司烏利亞說：「早晨的燔祭、晚上的素祭，王的燔祭、素祭，國內眾民的燔祭、素祭、奠祭都要燒在大壇上。燔祭牲和平安祭牲的血也要灑在這壇上，只是銅壇我要用以求問耶和華。」Then King Ahaz commanded Uriah the priest, “Offer on the great altar the morning burnt offering, the evening grain offering, and the king’s burnt offering and grain offering, as well as the burnt offerings, grain offerings, and drink offerings of all the people of the land. Splatter on the altar all the blood of the burnt offerings and sacrifices. But I will use the bronze altar to seek guidance.”

¹⁶祭司烏利亞就照著亞哈斯王所吩咐的行了。So Uriah the priest did just as King Ahaz had commanded.

¹⁷亞哈斯王打掉盆座四面鑲著的心子，把盆從座上挪下來，又將銅海從馱海的銅牛上搬下來，放在鋪石地；King Ahaz also cut off the frames of the movable stands and removed the bronze basin from each of them. He took down the Sea from the bronze oxen that were under it and put it on a stone base.

¹⁸又因亞述王的緣故，將耶和華殿為安息日所蓋的廊子和王從外入殿的廊子挪移，圍繞耶和華的殿。And on account of the king of Assyria, he removed the Sabbath canopy they had built in the temple and closed the royal entryway outside the house of the LORD.

¹⁹亞哈斯其餘所行的事都寫在猶大列王記上。As for the rest of the acts of Ahaz, along with his accomplishments, are they not written in the Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Judah?

²⁰亞哈斯與他列祖同睡，葬在大衛城他列祖的墳地裡。他兒子希西家接續他作王。And Ahaz rested with his fathers and was buried with them in the City of David, and his son Hezekiah reigned in his place.

何細亞與撒馬利亞陷落

¹猶大王亞哈斯十二年，以拉的兒子何細亞在撒馬利亞登基作以色列王九年。In the twelfth year of the reign of Ahaz over Judah, Hoshea son of Elah became king of Israel, and he reigned in Samaria nine years.

²他行耶和華眼中看為惡的事，只是不像在他以前的以色列諸王。And he did evil in the sight of the LORD, but not like the kings of Israel who preceded him.

³亞述王撒縵以色上來攻擊何細亞，何細亞就服事他，給他進貢。Shalmaneser king of Assyria attacked him, and Hoshea became his vassal and paid him tribute.

⁴何細亞背叛，差人去見埃及王梭，不照往年所行的與亞述王進貢。亞述王知道了，就把他鎖禁，囚在監裡。But the king of Assyria discovered that Hoshea had conspired to send envoys to King So of Egypt, and that he had not paid tribute to the king of Assyria as in previous years. Therefore the king of Assyria arrested Hoshea and put him in prison.

⁵亞述王上來攻擊以色列遍地，上到撒馬利亞，圍困三年。Then the king of Assyria invaded the whole land, marched up to Samaria, and besieged it for three years.

⁶何細亞第九年亞述王攻取了撒馬利亞，將以色列人擄到亞述，把他們安置在哈臘與歌散的哈博河邊，並米底亞人的城邑。In the ninth year of Hoshea, the king of Assyria captured Samaria and carried away the Israelites to Assyria, where he settled them in Halah, in Gozan by the Habor River, and in the cities of the Medes.

北國滅亡的原因

⁷這是因以色列人得罪那領他們出埃及地、脫離埃及王法老手的耶和華─他們的　神，去敬畏別神，All this happened because the people of Israel had sinned against the LORD their God, who had brought them out of the land of Egypt from under the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt. They had worshiped other gods

⁸隨從耶和華在他們面前所趕出外邦人的風俗和以色列諸王所立的條規。and walked in the customs of the nations that the LORD had driven out before the Israelites, as well as in the practices introduced by the kings of Israel.

⁹以色列人暗中行不正的事，違背耶和華─他們的　神，在他們所有的城邑，從瞭望樓直到堅固城，建築邱壇；The Israelites secretly did things against the LORD their God that were not right. From watchtower to fortified city, they built high places in all their cities.

¹⁰在各高岡上、各青翠樹下立柱像和木偶；They set up for themselves sacred pillars and Asherah poles on every high hill and under every green tree.

¹¹在邱壇上燒香，效法耶和華在他們面前趕出的外邦人所行的，又行惡事惹動耶和華的怒氣；They burned incense on all the high places like the nations that the LORD had driven out before them. They did wicked things, provoking the LORD to anger.

¹²且事奉偶像，就是耶和華警戒他們不可行的。They served idols, although the LORD had told them, “You shall not do this thing.”

¹³但耶和華藉眾先知、先見勸戒以色列人和猶大人說：「當離開你們的惡行，謹守我的誡命律例，遵行我吩咐你們列祖，並藉我僕人眾先知所傳給你們的律法。」Yet through all His prophets and seers, the LORD warned Israel and Judah, saying, “Turn from your wicked ways and keep My commandments and statutes, according to the entire Law that I commanded your fathers and delivered to you through My servants the prophets.”

¹⁴他們卻不聽從，竟硬著頸項，效法他們列祖，不信服耶和華─他們的　神，But they would not listen, and they stiffened their necks like their fathers, who did not believe the LORD their God.

¹⁵厭棄他的律例和他與他們列祖所立的約，並勸戒他們的話，隨從虛無的神，自己成為虛妄，效法周圍的外邦人，就是耶和華囑咐他們不可效法的；They rejected His statutes and the covenant He had made with their fathers, as well as the decrees He had given them. They pursued worthless idols and became worthless themselves, going after the surrounding nations that the LORD had commanded them not to imitate.

¹⁶離棄耶和華─他們　神的一切誡命，為自己鑄了兩個牛犢的像，立了亞舍拉，敬拜天上的萬象，事奉巴力，They abandoned all the commandments of the LORD their God and made for themselves two cast idols of calves and an Asherah pole. They bowed down to all the host of heaven and served Baal.

¹⁷又使他們的兒女經火，用占卜，行法術賣了自己，行耶和華眼中看為惡的事，惹動他的怒氣。They sacrificed their sons and daughters in the fire and practiced divination and soothsaying. They devoted themselves to doing evil in the sight of the LORD, provoking Him to anger.

¹⁸所以耶和華向以色列人大大發怒，從自己面前趕出他們，只剩下猶大一個支派。So the LORD was very angry with Israel, and He removed them from His presence. Only the tribe of Judah remained,

¹⁹猶大人也不遵守耶和華─他們　神的誡命，隨從以色列人所立的條規。and even Judah did not keep the commandments of the LORD their God, but lived according to the customs Israel had introduced.

²⁰耶和華就厭棄以色列全族，使他們受苦，把他們交在搶奪他們的人手中，以致趕出他們離開自己面前，So the LORD rejected all the descendants of Israel. He afflicted them and delivered them into the hands of plunderers, until He had banished them from His presence.

²¹將以色列國從大衛家奪回；他們就立尼八的兒子耶羅波安作王。耶羅波安引誘以色列人不隨從耶和華，陷在大罪裡。When the LORD had torn Israel away from the house of David, they made Jeroboam son of Nebat king, and Jeroboam led Israel away from following the LORD and caused them to commit a great sin.

²²以色列人犯耶羅波安所犯的一切罪，總不離開，The Israelites persisted in all the sins that Jeroboam had committed and did not turn away from them.

²³以致耶和華從自己面前趕出他們，正如藉他僕人眾先知所說的。這樣，以色列人從本地被擄到亞述，直到今日。Finally, the LORD removed Israel from His presence, as He had declared through all His servants the prophets. So Israel was exiled from their homeland into Assyria, where they are to this day.

外族遷入撒馬利亞

²⁴亞述王從巴比倫、古他、亞瓦、哈馬，和西法瓦音遷移人來，安置在撒馬利亞的城邑，代替以色列人；他們就得了撒馬利亞，住在其中。Then the king of Assyria brought people from Babylon, Cuthah, Avva, Hamath, and Sepharvaim and settled them in the towns of Samaria to replace the Israelites. They took possession of Samaria and lived in its towns.

²⁵他們才住那裡的時候，不敬畏耶和華，所以耶和華叫獅子進入他們中間，咬死了些人。Now when the settlers first lived there, they did not worship the LORD, so He sent lions among them, which killed some of them.

²⁶有人告訴亞述王說：「你所遷移安置在撒馬利亞各城的那些民，不知道那地之神的規矩，所以那神叫獅子進入他們中間，咬死他們。」So they spoke to the king of Assyria, saying, “The peoples that you have removed and placed in the cities of Samaria do not know the requirements of the God of the land. Because of this, He has sent lions among them, which are indeed killing them off.”

²⁷亞述王就吩咐說：「叫所擄來的祭司回去一個，使他住在那裡，將那地之神的規矩指教那些民。」Then the king of Assyria commanded: “Send back one of the priests you carried off from Samaria, and have him go back to live there and teach the requirements of the God of the land.”

²⁸於是有一個從撒馬利亞擄去的祭司回來，住在伯特利，指教他們怎樣敬畏耶和華。Thus one of the priests they had carried away came and lived in Bethel, and he began to teach them how they should worship the LORD.

各族各拜自己的神

²⁹然而，各族之人在所住的城裡各為自己製造神像，安置在撒馬利亞人所造有邱壇的殿中。Nevertheless, the people of each nation continued to make their own gods in the cities where they had settled, and they set them up in the shrines that the people of Samaria had made on the high places.

³⁰巴比倫人造疏割‧比訥像；古他人造匿甲像；哈馬人造亞示瑪像；The men of Babylon made Succoth-benoth, the men of Cuth made Nergal, the men of Hamath made Ashima,

³¹亞瓦人造匿哈和他珥他像；西法瓦音人用火焚燒兒女，獻給西法瓦音的神亞得米勒和亞拿米勒。the Avvites made Nibhaz and Tartak, and the Sepharvites burned their children in the fire to Adrammelech and Anammelech the gods of Sepharvaim.

³²他們懼怕耶和華，也從他們中間立邱壇的祭司，為他們在有邱壇的殿中獻祭。So the new residents worshiped the LORD, but they also appointed for themselves priests of all sorts to serve in the shrines of the high places.

³³他們又懼怕耶和華，又事奉自己的神，從何邦遷移，就隨何邦的風俗。They worshiped the LORD, but they also served their own gods according to the customs of the nations from which they had been carried away.

仍照先前的風俗去行

³⁴他們直到如今仍照先前的風俗去行，不專心敬畏耶和華，不全守自己的規矩、典章，也不遵守耶和華吩咐雅各後裔的律法、誡命。〈雅各，就是從前耶和華起名叫以色列的。〉To this day they are still practicing their former customs. None of them worship the LORD or observe the statutes, ordinances, laws, and commandments that the LORD gave the descendants of Jacob, whom He named Israel.

³⁵耶和華曾與他們立約，囑咐他們說：「不可敬畏別神，不可跪拜事奉他，也不可向他獻祭。For the LORD had made a covenant with the Israelites and commanded them, “Do not worship other gods or bow down to them; do not serve them or sacrifice to them.

³⁶但那用大能和伸出來的膀臂領你們出埃及地的耶和華，你們當敬畏，跪拜，向他獻祭。Instead, worship the LORD, who brought you out of the land of Egypt with great power and an outstretched arm. You are to bow down to Him and offer sacrifices to Him.

³⁷他給你們寫的律例、典章、律法、誡命，你們應當永遠謹守遵行，不可敬畏別神。And you must always be careful to observe the statutes, ordinances, laws, and commandments He wrote for you. Do not worship other gods.

³⁸我─耶和華與你們所立的約你們不可忘記，也不可敬畏別神。Do not forget the covenant I have made with you. Do not worship other gods,

³⁹但要敬畏耶和華─你們的　神，他必救你們脫離一切仇敵的手。」but worship the LORD your God, and He will deliver you from the hands of all your enemies.”

⁴⁰他們卻不聽從，仍照先前的風俗去行。But they would not listen, and they persisted in their former customs.

⁴¹如此這些民又懼怕耶和華，又事奉他們的偶像。他們子子孫孫也都照樣行，效法他們的祖宗，直到今日。So these nations worshiped the LORD but also served their idols, and to this day their children and grandchildren continue to do as their fathers did.

同我吃飯的人用腳踢我

¹⁸我這話不是指著你們眾人說的，我知道我所揀選的是誰。現在要應驗經上的話，說：『同我吃飯的人用腳踢我。』I am not speaking about all of you; I know whom I have chosen. But this is to fulfill the Scripture: ‘The one who shares My bread has lifted up his heel against Me.’

¹⁹如今事情還沒有成就，我要先告訴你們，叫你們到事情成就的時候可以信我是基督。I am telling you now before it happens, so that when it comes to pass, you will believe that I am He.

²⁰我實實在在地告訴你們，有人接待我所差遣的，就是接待我；接待我，就是接待那差遣我的。」Truly, truly, I tell you, whoever receives the one I send receives Me, and whoever receives Me receives the One who sent Me.”

你們中間有一個人要賣我

²¹耶穌說了這話，心裡憂愁，就明說：「我實實在在地告訴你們，你們中間有一個人要賣我了。」After Jesus had said this, He became troubled in spirit and testified, “Truly, truly, I tell you, one of you will betray Me.”

²²門徒彼此對看，猜不透所說的是誰。The disciples looked at one another, perplexed as to which of them He meant.

²³有一個門徒，是耶穌所愛的，側身挨近耶穌的懷裡。One of His disciples, the one whom Jesus loved, was reclining at His side.

²⁴西門•彼得點頭對他說：「你告訴我們，主是指著誰說的。」So Simon Peter motioned to him to ask Jesus which one He was talking about.

²⁵那門徒便就勢靠著耶穌的胸膛，問他說：「主啊，是誰呢？」Leaning back against Jesus, he asked, “Lord, who is it?”

²⁶耶穌回答說：「我蘸一點餅給誰，就是誰。」耶穌就蘸了一點餅，遞給加略人西門的兒子猶大。Jesus answered, “It is the one to whom I give this morsel after I have dipped it.” Then He dipped the morsel and gave it to Judas son of Simon Iscariot.

²⁷他吃了以後，撒但就入了他的心。耶穌便對他說：「你所做的，快做吧！」And when Judas had taken the morsel, Satan entered into him. Then Jesus said to Judas, “What you are about to do, do quickly.”

²⁸同席的人沒有一個知道是為甚麼對他說這話。But no one at the table knew why Jesus had said this to him.

²⁹有人因猶大帶著錢囊，以為耶穌是對他說：「你去買我們過節所應用的東西」，或是叫他拿甚麼賙濟窮人。Since Judas kept the money bag, some thought that Jesus was telling him to buy what was needed for the feast, or to give something to the poor.

³⁰猶大受了那點餅，立刻就出去。那時候是夜間了。As soon as he had received the morsel, Judas went out into the night.

人子得了榮耀

³¹他既出去，耶穌就說：「如今人子得了榮耀，　神在人子身上也得了榮耀。When Judas had gone out, Jesus said, “Now the Son of Man is glorified, and God is glorified in Him.

³²神要因自己榮耀人子，並且要快快地榮耀他。If God is glorified in Him, God will also glorify the Son in Himself—and will glorify Him at once.

³³小子們，我還有不多的時候與你們同在；後來你們要找我，但我所去的地方你們不能到。這話我曾對猶太人說過，如今也照樣對你們說。Little children, I am with you only a little while longer. You will look for Me, and as I said to the Jews, so now I say to you: ‘Where I am going, you cannot come.’

彼此相愛的新命令

³⁴我賜給你們一條新命令，乃是叫你們彼此相愛；我怎樣愛你們，你們也要怎樣相愛。A new commandment I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you also must love one another.

³⁵你們若有彼此相愛的心，眾人因此就認出你們是我的門徒了。」By this everyone will know that you are My disciples, if you love one another.”

預言彼得三次不認主

³⁶西門•彼得問耶穌說：「主往哪裡去？」耶穌回答說：「我所去的地方，你現在不能跟我去，後來卻要跟我去。」“Lord, where are You going?” Simon Peter asked. Jesus answered, “Where I am going, you cannot follow Me now, but you will follow later.”

³⁷彼得說：「主啊，我為甚麼現在不能跟你去？我願意為你捨命！」“Lord,” said Peter, “why can’t I follow You now? I will lay down my life for You.”

³⁸耶穌說：「你願意為我捨命嗎？我實實在在地告訴你，雞叫以先，你要三次不認我。」“Will you lay down your life for Me?” Jesus replied. “Truly, truly, I tell you, before the rooster crows, you will deny Me three times.
