神吩咐摩西上尼波山

⁴⁸當日，耶和華吩咐摩西說：On that same day the LORD said to Moses,

⁴⁹「你上這亞巴琳山中的尼波山去，在摩押地與耶利哥相對，觀看我所要賜給以色列人為業的迦南地。“Go up into the Abarim Range to Mount Nebo, in the land of Moab across from Jericho, and view the land of Canaan, which I am giving to the Israelites as their own possession.

⁵⁰你必死在你所登的山上，歸你列祖（原文是本民）去，像你哥哥亞倫死在何珥山上，歸他的列祖一樣。And there on the mountain that you climb, you will die and be gathered to your people, just as your brother Aaron died on Mount Hor and was gathered to his people.

⁵¹因為你們在尋的曠野，加低斯的米利巴水，在以色列人中沒有尊我為聖，得罪了我。For at the waters of Meribah-kadesh in the Wilderness of Zin, both of you broke faith with Me among the Israelites by failing to treat Me as holy in their presence.

⁵²我所賜給以色列人的地，你可以遠遠地觀看，卻不得進去。」Although you shall see from a distance the land that I am giving the Israelites, you shall not enter it.”

摩西臨終的祝福

¹以下是神人摩西在未死之先為以色列人所祝的福：This is the blessing that Moses the man of God pronounced upon the Israelites before his death.

²他說：耶和華從西奈而來，從西珥向他們顯現，從巴蘭山發出光輝，從萬萬聖者中來臨，從他右手為百姓傳出烈火的律法。He said: “The LORD came from Sinai and dawned upon us from Seir; He shone forth from Mount Paran and came with myriads of holy ones, with flaming fire at His right hand.

³他疼愛百姓；眾聖徒都在他手中。他們坐在他的腳下，領受他的言語。Surely You love the people; all the holy ones are in Your hand, and they sit down at Your feet; each receives Your words—

⁴摩西將律法傳給我們，作為雅各會眾的產業。the law that Moses gave us, the possession of the assembly of Jacob.

⁵百姓的眾首領，以色列的各支派，一同聚會的時候，耶和華（原文是他）在耶書崙中為王。So the LORD became King in Jeshurun when the leaders of the people gathered, when the tribes of Israel came together.

為流便、猶大祝福

⁶願流便存活，不致死亡；願他人數不致稀少。Let Reuben live and not die, nor his men be few.”

⁷為猶大祝福說：求耶和華俯聽猶大的聲音，引導他歸於本族；他曾用手為自己爭戰，你必幫助他攻擊敵人。And concerning Judah he said: “O LORD, hear the cry of Judah and bring him to his people. With his own hands he defends his cause, but may You be a help against his foes.”

論利未

⁸論利未說：耶和華啊，你的土明和烏陵都在你的虔誠人那裡。你在瑪撒曾試驗他，在米利巴水與他爭論。Concerning Levi he said: “Give Your Thummim to Levi and Your Urim to Your godly one, whom You tested at Massah and contested at the waters of Meribah.

⁹他論自己的父母說：我未曾看見；他也不承認弟兄，也不認識自己的兒女。這是因利未人遵行你的話，謹守你的約。He said of his father and mother, ‘I do not consider them.’ He disregarded his brothers and did not know his own sons, for he kept Your word and maintained Your covenant.

¹⁰他們要將你的典章教訓雅各，將你的律法教訓以色列。他們要把香焚在你面前，把全牲的燔祭獻在你的壇上。He will teach Your ordinances to Jacob and Your law to Israel; he will set incense before You and whole burnt offerings on Your altar.

¹¹求耶和華降福在他的財物上，悅納他手裡所辦的事。那些起來攻擊他和恨惡他的人，願你刺透他們的腰，使他們不得再起來。Bless his substance, O LORD, and accept the work of his hands. Smash the loins of those who rise against him, and of his foes so they can rise no more.”

論便雅憫和約瑟

¹²論便雅憫說：耶和華所親愛的必同耶和華安然居住；耶和華終日遮蔽他，也住在他兩肩之中。Concerning Benjamin he said: “May the beloved of the LORD rest secure in Him; God shields him all day long, and upon His shoulders he rests.”

¹³論約瑟說：願他的地蒙耶和華賜福，得天上的寶物、甘露，以及地裡所藏的泉水；Concerning Joseph he said: “May his land be blessed by the LORD with the precious dew from heaven above and the deep waters that lie beneath,

¹⁴得太陽所曬熟的美果，月亮所養成的寶物；with the bountiful harvest from the sun and the abundant yield of the seasons,

¹⁵得上古之山的至寶，永世之嶺的寶物；with the best of the ancient mountains and the bounty of the everlasting hills,

¹⁶得地和其中所充滿的寶物，並住荊棘中上主的喜悅。願這些福都歸於約瑟的頭上，歸於那與弟兄迥別之人的頂上。with the choice gifts of the land and everything in it, and with the favor of Him who dwelt in the burning bush. May these rest on the head of Joseph and crown the brow of the prince of his brothers.

¹⁷他為牛群中頭生的，有威嚴；他的角是野牛的角，用以牴觸萬邦，直到地極。這角是以法蓮的萬萬，瑪拿西的千千。His majesty is like a firstborn bull, and his horns are like those of a wild ox. With them he will gore the nations, even to the ends of the earth. Such are the myriads of Ephraim, and such are the thousands of Manasseh.”

論西布倫、以薩迦、迦得、但

¹⁸論西布倫說：西布倫哪，你出外可以歡喜。以薩迦啊，在你帳棚裡可以快樂。Concerning Zebulun he said: “Rejoice, Zebulun, in your journeys, and Issachar, in your tents.

¹⁹他們要將列邦召到山上，在那裡獻公義的祭；因為他們要吸取海裡的豐富，並沙中所藏的珍寶。They will call the peoples to a mountain; there they will offer sacrifices of righteousness. For they will feast on the abundance of the seas and the hidden treasures of the sand.”

²⁰論迦得說：使迦得擴張的應當稱頌！迦得住如母獅；他撕裂膀臂，連頭頂也撕裂。Concerning Gad he said: “Blessed is he who enlarges the domain of Gad! He lies down like a lion and tears off an arm or a head.

²¹他為自己選擇頭一段地，因在那裡有設立律法者的分存留。他與百姓的首領同來；他施行耶和華的公義和耶和華與以色列所立的典章。He chose the best land for himself, because a ruler’s portion was reserved for him there. He came with the leaders of the people; he administered the LORD’s justice and His ordinances for Israel.”

²²論但說：但為小獅子，從巴珊跳出來。Concerning Dan he said: “Dan is a lion’s cub, leaping out of Bashan.”

論拿弗他利、亞設

²³論拿弗他利說：拿弗他利啊，你足沾恩惠，滿得耶和華的福，可以得西方和南方為業。Concerning Naphtali he said: “Naphtali is abounding with favor, full of the blessing of the LORD; he shall take possession of the sea and the south.”

²⁴論亞設說：願亞設享受多子的福樂，得他弟兄的喜悅，可以把腳蘸在油中。And concerning Asher he said: “May Asher be the most blessed of sons; may he be the most favored among his brothers and dip his foot in oil.

²⁵你的門閂（或譯：鞋）是銅的，鐵的。你的日子如何，你的力量也必如何。May the bolts of your gate be iron and bronze, and may your strength match your days.”

沒有能比神的

²⁶耶書崙哪，沒有能比　神的。他為幫助你，乘在天空，顯其威榮，駕行穹蒼。“There is none like the God of Jeshurun, who rides the heavens to your aid, and the clouds in His majesty.

²⁷永生的　神是你的居所；他永久的膀臂在你以下。他在你前面攆出仇敵，說：毀滅吧。The eternal God is your dwelling place, and underneath are the everlasting arms. He drives out the enemy before you, giving the command, ‘Destroy him!’

²⁸以色列安然居住；雅各的本源獨居五穀新酒之地。他的天也滴甘露。So Israel dwells securely; the fountain of Jacob lives untroubled in a land of grain and new wine, where even the heavens drip with dew.

²⁹以色列啊，你是有福的！誰像你這蒙耶和華所拯救的百姓呢？他是你的盾牌，幫助你，是你威榮的刀劍。你的仇敵必投降你；你必踏在他們的高處。Blessed are you, O Israel! Who is like you, a people saved by the LORD? He is the shield that protects you, the sword in which you boast. Your enemies will cower before you, and you shall trample their high places.”

摩西遙望應許之地

¹摩西從摩押平原登尼波山，上了那與耶利哥相對的毘斯迦山頂。耶和華把基列全地直到但，Then Moses went up from the plains of Moab to Mount Nebo, to the top of Pisgah, which faces Jericho. And the LORD showed him the whole land—from Gilead as far as Dan,

²拿弗他利全地，以法蓮、瑪拿西的地，猶大全地直到西海，all of Naphtali, the land of Ephraim and Manasseh, all the land of Judah as far as the Western Sea,

³南地和棕樹城耶利哥的平原，直到瑣珥，都指給他看。the Negev, and the region from the Valley of Jericho (the City of Palms) all the way to Zoar.

⁴耶和華對他說：「這就是我向亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各起誓應許之地，說：『我必將這地賜給你的後裔。』現在我使你眼睛看見了，你卻不得過到那裡去。」And the LORD said to him, “This is the land that I swore to give Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob when I said, ‘I will give it to your descendants.’ I have let you see it with your own eyes, but you will not cross into it.”

摩西死在摩押地

⁵於是，耶和華的僕人摩西死在摩押地，正如耶和華所說的。So Moses the servant of the LORD died there in the land of Moab, as the LORD had said.

⁶耶和華將他埋葬在摩押地、伯‧毘珥對面的谷中，只是到今日沒有人知道他的墳墓。And He buried him in a valley in the land of Moab facing Beth-peor, and no one to this day knows the location of his grave.

⁷摩西死的時候年一百二十歲；眼目沒有昏花，精神沒有衰敗。Moses was a hundred and twenty years old when he died, yet his eyes were not weak, and his vitality had not diminished.

⁸以色列人在摩押平原為摩西哀哭了三十日，為摩西居喪哀哭的日子就滿了。The Israelites grieved for Moses in the plains of Moab thirty days, until the time of weeping and mourning for Moses came to an end.

約書亞接續領導

⁹嫩的兒子約書亞；因為摩西曾按手在他頭上，就被智慧的靈充滿，以色列人便聽從他，照著耶和華吩咐摩西的行了。Now Joshua son of Nun was filled with the spirit of wisdom because Moses had laid his hands on him. So the Israelites obeyed him and did as the LORD had commanded Moses.

再沒有先知像摩西

¹⁰以後以色列中再沒有興起先知像摩西的。他是耶和華面對面所認識的。Since that time, no prophet has risen in Israel like Moses, whom the LORD knew face to face—

¹¹耶和華打發他在埃及地向法老和他的一切臣僕，並他的全地，行各樣神蹟奇事，no prophet who did all the signs and wonders that the LORD sent Moses to do in the land of Egypt to Pharaoh and to all his officials and all his land,

¹²又在以色列眾人眼前顯大能的手，行一切大而可畏的事。and no prophet who performed all the mighty acts of power and awesome deeds that Moses did in the sight of all Israel.

門徒在安息日掐麥穗

¹有一個安息日，耶穌從麥地經過。他的門徒掐了麥穗，用手搓著吃。One Sabbath Jesus was passing through the grainfields, and His disciples began to pick the heads of grain, rub them in their hands, and eat them.

²有幾個法利賽人說：「你們為甚麼做安息日不可做的事呢？」But some of the Pharisees asked, “Why are you doing what is unlawful on the Sabbath?”

大衛吃陳設餅

³耶穌對他們說：「經上記著大衛和跟從他的人飢餓之時所做的事，連這個你們也沒有念過嗎？Jesus replied, “Have you not read what David did when he and his companions were hungry?

⁴他怎麼進了　神的殿，拿陳設餅吃，又給跟從的人吃？這餅除了祭司以外，別人都不可吃。」He entered the house of God, took the consecrated bread and gave it to his companions, and ate what is lawful only for the priests to eat.”

人子是安息日的主

⁵又對他們說：「人子是安息日的主。」Then Jesus declared, “The Son of Man is Lord of the Sabbath.”

醫治枯乾的手

⁶又有一個安息日，耶穌進了會堂教訓人，在那裡有一個人右手枯乾了。On another Sabbath Jesus entered the synagogue and was teaching, and a man was there whose right hand was withered.

⁷文士和法利賽人窺探耶穌，在安息日治病不治病，要得把柄去告他。Looking for a reason to accuse Jesus, the scribes and Pharisees were watching Him closely to see if He would heal on the Sabbath.

⁸耶穌卻知道他們的意念，就對那枯乾一隻手的人說：「起來！站在當中。」那人就起來，站著。But Jesus knew their thoughts and said to the man with the withered hand, “Get up and stand among us.” So he got up and stood there.

安息日救命還是害命

⁹耶穌對他們說：「我問你們，在安息日行善行惡，救命害命，哪樣是可以的呢？」Then Jesus said to them, “I ask you, which is lawful on the Sabbath: to do good or to do evil, to save life or to destroy it?”

¹⁰他就周圍看著他們眾人，對那人說：「伸出手來！」他把手一伸，手就復了原。And after looking around at all of them, He said to the man, “Stretch out your hand.” He did so, and it was restored.

¹¹他們就滿心大怒，彼此商議怎樣處治耶穌。But the scribes and Pharisees were filled with rage and began to discuss with one another what they might do to Jesus.
