1天使（原文是他）又指给我看：大祭司约书亚站在耶和华的使者面前；也站在约书亚的右边，与他作对。Then the angel showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the LORD, with Satan standing at his right hand to accuse him.
2耶和华向撒但说：“撒但哪，耶和华责备你！就是拣选耶路撒冷的耶和华责备你！这不是吗？”And the LORD said to Satan: “The LORD rebukes you, Satan! Indeed, the LORD, who has chosen Jerusalem, rebukes you! Is not this man a firebrand snatched from the fire?”
3约书亚穿着污秽的衣服站在使者面前。Now Joshua was dressed in filthy garments as he stood before the angel.
4使者吩咐站在面前的说：“你们要脱去他污秽的衣服”；又对约书亚说：“我使你脱离罪孽，要给你穿上。”So the angel said to those standing before him, “Take off his filthy clothes!” Then he said to Joshua, “See, I have removed your iniquity, and I will clothe you with splendid robes.”
5我说：“要将洁净的戴在他头上。”他们就把洁净的冠冕戴在他头上，给他穿上华美的衣服，耶和华的使者在旁边站立。Then I said, “Let them put a clean turban on his head.” So a clean turban was placed on his head, and they clothed him, as the angel of the LORD stood by.
6耶和华的使者告诫约书亚说：Then the angel of the LORD gave this charge to Joshua:
7“万军之耶和华如此说：你若遵行我的道，谨守我的命令，你就可以管理我的家，看守我的院宇；我也要使你在这些站立的人中间来往。“This is what the LORD of Hosts says: ‘If you walk in My ways and keep My instructions, then you will govern My house and will also have charge of My courts; and I will give you a place among these who are standing here.
8大祭司约书亚啊，你和坐在你面前的同伴都当听。（他们是作预兆的。）我必使我仆人大卫的发出。Hear now, O high priest Joshua, you and your companions seated before you, who are indeed a sign. For behold, I am going to bring My servant, the Branch.
9看哪，我在约书亚面前所立的石头，在一块石头上有七眼。万军之耶和华说：我要亲自雕刻这石头，并要在一日之间除掉这地的罪孽。See the stone I have set before Joshua; on that one stone are seven eyes. Behold, I will engrave on it an inscription, declares the LORD of Hosts, and I will remove the iniquity of this land in a single day.
10当那日，你们各人要请邻舍坐在葡萄树和无花果树下。这是万军之耶和华说的。”On that day, declares the LORD of Hosts, you will each invite your neighbor to sit under your own vine and fig tree.’”
