4我对狂傲人说：不要行事狂傲！对凶恶人说：不要！I say to the proud, ‘Do not boast,’ and to the wicked, ‘Do not lift up your horn.
5不要把你们的角高举；不要挺着颈项说话。Do not lift up your horn against heaven or speak with an outstretched neck.’”
6因为高举非从东，非从西，也非从南而来。For exaltation comes neither from east nor west, nor out of the desert,
7惟有 神断定；他使这人降卑，使那人升高。but it is God who judges; He brings down one and exalts another.
8耶和华手里有，其中的酒起沫，杯内满了搀杂的酒；他倒出来，地上的恶人必都喝这酒的，而且喝尽。For a cup is in the hand of the LORD, full of foaming wine mixed with spices. He pours from His cup, and all the wicked of the earth drink it down to the dregs.
9但我要宣扬，直到永远！我要歌颂雅各的 神！But I will proclaim Him forever; I will sing praise to the God of Jacob.
10恶人一切的角，我要砍断；惟有义人的角必被高举。“All the horns of the wicked I will cut off, but the horns of the righteous will be exalted.”
