1一到早晨，祭司长和长老、文士、全的人大家商议，就把耶稣捆绑，交给。Early in the morning, the chief priests, elders, scribes, and the whole Sanhedrin devised a plan. They bound Jesus, led Him away, and handed Him over to Pilate.
2彼拉多问他说：“你是吗？”耶稣回答说：“。”So Pilate questioned Him, “Are You the King of the Jews?” “You have said so,” Jesus replied.
3祭司长告他许多的事。And the chief priests began to accuse Him of many things.
4彼拉多又问他说：“你看，他们告你这么多的事，你什么都不回答吗？”Then Pilate questioned Him again, “Have You no answer? Look how many charges they are bringing against You!”
5耶稣仍不回答，以致彼拉多觉得。But to Pilate’s amazement, Jesus made no further reply.
6每逢这节期，巡抚照众人所求的，释放一个囚犯给他们。Now it was Pilate’s custom at the feast to release to the people a prisoner of their choosing.
7有一个人名叫，和的人一同捆绑。他们做乱的时候，曾杀过人。And a man named Barabbas was imprisoned with the rebels who had committed murder during the insurrection.
8众人上去求巡抚，照给他们办。So the crowd went up and began asking Pilate to keep his custom.
9彼拉多说：“你们要我释放犹太人的王给你们吗？”“Do you want me to release to you the King of the Jews?” Pilate asked.
10他原晓得，祭司长是因为嫉妒才把耶稣解了来。For he knew it was out of envy that the chief priests had handed Jesus over.
11只是祭司长众人，宁可释放巴拉巴给他们。But the chief priests stirred up the crowd to have him release Barabbas to them instead.
12彼拉多又说：“那么样，你们所称为犹太人的王，我怎么办他呢？”So Pilate asked them again, “What then do you want me to do with the One you call the King of the Jews?”
13他们又喊着说：“把他！”And they shouted back, “Crucify Him!”
14彼拉多说：“为什么呢？他做了什么恶事呢？”他们便极力地喊着说：“把他钉十字架！”“Why?” asked Pilate. “What evil has He done?” But they shouted all the louder, “Crucify Him!”
15彼拉多要，就释放巴拉巴给他们，将耶稣了，交给人钉十字架。And wishing to satisfy the crowd, Pilate released Barabbas to them. But he had Jesus flogged, and handed Him over to be crucified.
16兵丁把耶稣带进院里，叫齐了。Then the soldiers led Jesus away into the palace (that is, the Praetorium) and called the whole company together.
17他们给他穿上，又用荆棘编做冠冕给他戴上，They dressed Him in a purple robe, twisted together a crown of thorns, and set it on His head.
18就庆贺他说：“，犹太人的王啊！”And they began to salute Him: “Hail, King of the Jews!”
19又拿一根苇子打他的头，吐唾沫在他脸上，屈膝拜他。They kept striking His head with a staff and spitting on Him. And they knelt down and bowed before Him.
20戏弄完了，就给他脱了紫袍，仍穿上他自己的衣服，带他出去，要钉十字架。After they had mocked Him, they removed the purple robe and put His own clothes back on Him. Then they led Him out to crucify Him.
21有一个西门，就是亚历山大和鲁孚的父亲，从乡下来，经过那地方，他们就他同去，好背着耶稣的十字架。Now Simon of Cyrene, the father of Alexander and Rufus, was passing by on his way in from the country, and the soldiers forced him to carry the cross of Jesus.
22他们带耶稣到了地方（各各他翻出来就是髑髅地），They brought Jesus to a place called Golgotha, which means The Place of the Skull.
23拿给耶稣，他却不受。There they offered Him wine mixed with myrrh, but He did not take it.
24于是将他钉在十字架上，分他的衣服，看是谁得什么。And they crucified Him. They also divided His garments by casting lots to decide what each of them would take.
25钉他在十字架上是的时候。It was the third hour when they crucified Him.
26在上面有他的罪状，写的是：“犹太人的王。”And the charge inscribed against Him read: THE KING OF THE JEWS.
27他们又把两个强盗和他同钉十字架，一个在右边，一个在左边。（有古卷加：Along with Jesus, they crucified two robbers, one on His right and one on His left.
28这就应了经上的话说：他被列在罪犯之中。）（BSB 英译本没有这一节）
29从那里经过的人辱骂他，摇着头说：“咳！你这拆毁圣殿、三日又建造起来的，And those who passed by heaped abuse on Him, shaking their heads and saying, “Aha! You who are going to destroy the temple and rebuild it in three days,
30可以救自己，从十字架上下来吧！”come down from the cross and save Yourself!”
31祭司长和文士也是这样戏弄他，彼此说：“他救了别人，不能救自己。In the same way, the chief priests and scribes mocked Him among themselves, saying, “He saved others, but He cannot save Himself!
32以色列的王基督，现在可以从十字架上下来，叫我们看见，就信了。”那和他同钉的人也是讥诮他。Let the Christ, the King of Israel, come down now from the cross, so that we may see and believe!” And even those who were crucified with Him berated Him.
33从到，遍地都黑暗了。From the sixth hour until the ninth hour darkness came over all the land.
34申初的时候，耶稣大声喊着说：“以罗伊！以罗伊！？”（翻出来就是：我的 神！我的 神！为什么离弃我？）At the ninth hour, Jesus cried out in a loud voice, “Eloi, Eloi, lema sabachthani?” which means, “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?”
35旁边站着的人，有的听见就说：“看哪，他叫以利亚呢！”When some of those standing nearby heard this, they said, “Behold, He is calling Elijah.”
36有一个人跑去，把海绒蘸满了醋，绑在苇子上，送给他喝，说：“且等着，看以利亚来不来把他取下。”And someone ran and filled a sponge with sour wine. He put it on a reed and held it up for Jesus to drink, saying, “Leave Him alone. Let us see if Elijah comes to take Him down.”
37耶稣大声喊叫，气就断了。But Jesus let out a loud cry and breathed His last.
38殿里的从上到下裂为两半。And the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom.
39对面站着的看见耶稣这样喊叫（有古卷没有喊叫二字）断气，就说：“这人真是 神的儿子！”When the centurion standing there in front of Jesus saw how He had breathed His last, he said, “Truly this man was the Son of God!”
40还有些妇女远远地观看；内中有抹大拉的马利亚，又有小雅各和约西的母亲马利亚，并有撒罗米，And there were also women watching from a distance. Among them were Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James the younger and of Joses, and Salome.
41就是耶稣在加利利的时候，跟随他、服事他的那些人，还有同耶稣上耶路撒冷的好些妇女在那里观看。These women had followed Jesus and ministered to Him while He was in Galilee, and there were many other women who had come up to Jerusalem with Him.
42到了晚上，因为这是，就是安息日的前一日，Now it was already evening. Since it was Preparation Day (that is, the day before the Sabbath),
43有的约瑟前来，他是尊贵的议士，也是等候 神国的。他放胆进去见彼拉多，求耶稣的身体；Joseph of Arimathea, a prominent Council member who himself was waiting for the kingdom of God, boldly went to Pilate to ask for the body of Jesus.
44彼拉多诧异耶稣已经死了，便叫百夫长来，问他耶稣死了久不久。Pilate was surprised to hear that Jesus was already dead, so he summoned the centurion to ask if this was so.
45既从百夫长得知实情，就把耶稣的尸首赐给约瑟。When Pilate had confirmed it with the centurion, he granted the body to Joseph.
46约瑟买了细麻布，把耶稣取下来，用细麻布裹好，安放在磐石中凿出来的坟墓里，又滚过一块石头来挡住墓门。So Joseph bought a linen cloth, took down the body of Jesus, wrapped it in the cloth, and placed it in a tomb that had been cut out of the rock. Then he rolled a stone against the entrance to the tomb.
47抹大拉的马利亚和约西的母亲马利亚都看见安放他的地方。Mary Magdalene and Mary the mother of Joseph saw where His body was placed.
