1过了十四年，我同又上耶路撒冷去，并带着提多同去。Fourteen years later I went up again to Jerusalem, accompanied by Barnabas. I took Titus along also.
2我是奉启示上去的，把我在外邦人中所传的福音对弟兄们陈说；却是对那有名望之人说的，惟恐我现在，或是从前，。I went in response to a revelation and set before them the gospel that I preach among the Gentiles. But I spoke privately to those recognized as leaders, for fear that I was running or had already run in vain.
3但与我同去的提多，虽是希腊人，也没有勉强他受割礼；Yet not even Titus, who was with me, was compelled to be circumcised, even though he was a Greek.
4因为有的假弟兄，私下窥探我们在基督耶稣里的自由，要叫我们作奴仆。This issue arose because some false brothers had come in under false pretenses to spy on our freedom in Christ Jesus, in order to enslave us.
5我们就是一刻的工夫也没有容让顺服他们，为要叫福音的真理仍存在你们中间。We did not give in to them for a moment, so that the truth of the gospel would remain with you.
6至于那些有名望的，不论他是何等人，都与我无干。 神不以外貌取人。那些有名望的，并没有加增我什么，But as for the highly esteemed—whatever they were makes no difference to me; God does not show favoritism—those leaders added nothing to me.
7反倒看见了主托我传福音给那未受割礼的人，正如托彼得传福音给那受割礼的人。On the contrary, they saw that I had been entrusted to preach the gospel to the uncircumcised, just as Peter had been to the circumcised.
8（那感动彼得、叫他为受割礼之人作使徒的，也感动我，叫我为外邦人作使徒；）For the One who was at work in Peter’s apostleship to the circumcised was also at work in my apostleship to the Gentiles.
9又知道所赐给我的恩典，那称为教会的雅各、矶法、约翰，就向我和巴拿巴用右手行相交之礼，叫我们往外邦人那里去，他们往受割礼的人那里去。And recognizing the grace that I had been given, James, Cephas, and John—those reputed to be pillars—gave me and Barnabas the right hand of fellowship, so that we should go to the Gentiles, and they to the circumcised.
10只是愿意我们记念穷人；这也是我本来热心去行的。They only asked us to remember the poor, the very thing I was eager to do.
11后来，矶法到了；因他有可责之处，我就他。When Cephas came to Antioch, however, I opposed him to his face, because he stood condemned.
12未到以先，他，及至他们来到，他因怕，就与外邦人隔开了。For before certain men came from James, he used to eat with the Gentiles. But when they arrived, he began to draw back and separate himself, for fear of those in the circumcision group.
13其余的犹太人也都随着他，甚至连巴拿巴也随伙装假。The other Jews joined him in his hypocrisy, so that by their hypocrisy even Barnabas was led astray.
14但我一看见他们，与福音的真理不合，就在众人面前对矶法说：“你既是犹太人，若随外邦人行事，不随犹太人行事，怎么还勉强外邦人随犹太人呢？”When I saw that they were not walking in line with the truth of the gospel, I said to Cephas in front of them all, “If you, who are a Jew, live like a Gentile and not like a Jew, how can you compel the Gentiles to live like Jews?”
15我们这生来的犹太人，不是外邦的罪人；We who are Jews by birth and not Gentile “sinners”
16既知道人不是因行律法，乃是因信耶稣基督，连我们也信了基督耶稣，使我们因信基督称义，不因行律法称义；因为，没有一人因行律法称义。know that a man is not justified by works of the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ. So we, too, have believed in Christ Jesus, that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by works of the law, because by works of the law no one will be justified.
17我们若求在基督里称义，却仍旧是罪人，难道基督是叫人犯罪的吗？！But if, while we seek to be justified in Christ, we ourselves are found to be sinners, does that make Christ a minister of sin? Certainly not!
18我素来所拆毁的，若重新建造，这就证明自己是犯罪的人。If I rebuild what I have already torn down, I prove myself to be a lawbreaker.
19我因律法，就向律法死了，叫我可以向 神活着。For through the law I died to the law so that I might live to God.
20我已经与基督同钉十字架，现在活着的不再是我，乃是基督在我里面活着；并且我如今在肉身活着，是因信 神的儿子而活；他是爱我，为我舍己。I have been crucified with Christ, and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me.
21我不 神的恩；义若是借着律法得的，基督就是。I do not set aside the grace of God. For if righteousness comes through the law, then Christ died for nothing.
