以西结书 1

¹当三十年四月初五日，以西结（原文是我）在迦巴鲁河边被掳的人中，天就开了，得见　神的异象。In the thirtieth year, on the fifth day of the fourth month, while I was among the exiles by the River Kebar, the heavens opened and I saw visions of God.

²正是约雅斤王被掳去第五年四月初五日，On the fifth day of the month—it was the fifth year of the exile of King Jehoiachin—

³在迦勒底人之地、迦巴鲁河边，耶和华的话特特临到布西的儿子祭司以西结；耶和华的灵（原文是手）降在他身上。the word of the LORD came directly to Ezekiel the priest, the son of Buzi, in the land of the Chaldeans by the River Kebar. And there the LORD’s hand was upon him.

⁴我观看，见狂风从北方刮来，随着有一朵包括闪烁火的大云，周围有光辉；从其中的火内发出好像光耀的精金；I looked and saw a whirlwind coming from the north, a great cloud with fire flashing back and forth and brilliant light all around it. In the center of the fire was a gleam like amber,

⁵又从其中显出四个活物的形象来。他们的形状是这样：有人的形象，and within it was the form of four living creatures. And this was their appearance: They had a human form,

⁶各有四个脸面，四个翅膀。but each had four faces and four wings.

⁷他们的腿是直的，脚掌好像牛犊之蹄，都灿烂如光明的铜。Their legs were straight, and the soles of their feet were like the hooves of a calf, gleaming like polished bronze.

⁸在四面的翅膀以下有人的手。这四个活物的脸和翅膀乃是这样：Under their wings on their four sides they had human hands. All four living creatures had faces and wings,

⁹翅膀彼此相接，行走并不转身，俱各直往前行。and their wings were touching one another. They did not turn as they moved; each one went straight ahead.

¹⁰至于脸的形象：前面各有人的脸，右面各有狮子的脸，左面各有牛的脸，后面各有鹰的脸。The form of their faces was that of a man, and each of the four had the face of a lion on the right side, the face of an ox on the left side, and also the face of an eagle.

¹¹各展开上边的两个翅膀相接，各以下边的两个翅膀遮体。Such were their faces. Their wings were spread upward; each had two wings touching the wings of the creature on either side, and two wings covering its body.

¹²他们俱各直往前行。灵往哪里去，他们就往那里去，行走并不转身。Each creature went straight ahead. Wherever the spirit would go, they would go, without turning as they moved.

¹³至于四活物的形象，就如烧着火炭的形状，又如火把的形状。火在四活物中间上去下来，这火有光辉，从火中发出闪电。In the midst of the living creatures was the appearance of glowing coals of fire, or of torches. Fire moved back and forth between the living creatures; it was bright, and lightning flashed out of it.

¹⁴这活物往来奔走，好像电光一闪。The creatures were darting back and forth as quickly as flashes of lightning.

¹⁵我正观看活物的时候，见活物的脸旁各有一轮在地上。When I looked at the living creatures, I saw a wheel on the ground beside each creature with its four faces.

¹⁶轮的形状和颜色（原文是作法）好像水苍玉。四轮都是一个样式，形状和作法好像轮中套轮。The workmanship of the wheels looked like the gleam of beryl, and all four had the same likeness. Their workmanship looked like a wheel within a wheel.

¹⁷轮行走的时候，向四方都能直行，并不掉转。As they moved, they went in any of the four directions, without pivoting as they moved.

¹⁸至于轮辋，高而可畏；四个轮辋周围满有眼睛。Their rims were high and awesome, and all four rims were full of eyes all around.

¹⁹活物行走，轮也在旁边行走；活物从地上升，轮也都上升。So as the living creatures moved, the wheels moved beside them, and when the creatures rose from the ground, the wheels also rose.

²⁰灵往哪里去，活物就往那里去；活物上升，轮也在活物旁边上升，因为活物的灵在轮中。Wherever the spirit would go, they would go, and the wheels would rise alongside them, because the spirit of the living creatures was in the wheels.

²¹那些行走，这些也行走；那些站住，这些也站住；那些从地上升，轮也在旁边上升，因为活物的灵在轮中。When the creatures moved, the wheels moved; when the creatures stood still, the wheels stood still; and when the creatures rose from the ground, the wheels rose alongside them, because the spirit of the living creatures was in the wheels.

²²活物的头以上有穹苍的形象，看着像可畏的水晶，铺张在活物的头以上。Spread out above the heads of the living creatures was the likeness of an awesome expanse, gleaming like crystal.

²³穹苍以下，活物的翅膀直张，彼此相对；每活物有两个翅膀遮体。And under the expanse, their wings stretched out toward one another. Each one also had two wings covering its body.

²⁴活物行走的时候，我听见翅膀的响声，像大水的声音，像全能者的声音，也像军队哄嚷的声音。活物站住的时候，便将翅膀垂下。When the creatures moved, I heard the sound of their wings like the roar of many waters, like the voice of the Almighty, like the tumult of an army. When they stood still, they lowered their wings.

²⁵在他们头以上的穹苍之上有声音。他们站住的时候，便将翅膀垂下。And there came a voice from above the expanse over their heads as they stood still with their wings lowered.

²⁶在他们头以上的穹苍之上有宝座的形象，仿佛蓝宝石；在宝座形象以上有仿佛人的形状。Above the expanse over their heads was the likeness of a throne with the appearance of sapphire, and on the throne high above was a figure like that of a man.

²⁷我见从他腰以上有仿佛光耀的精金，周围都有火的形状，又见从他腰以下有仿佛火的形状，周围也有光辉。From what seemed to be His waist up, I saw a gleam like amber, with what looked like fire within it all around. And from what seemed to be His waist down, I saw what looked like fire; and brilliant light surrounded Him.

²⁸下雨的日子，云中虹的形状怎样，周围光辉的形状也是怎样。这就是耶和华荣耀的形象。我一看见就俯伏在地，又听见一位说话的声音。The appearance of the brilliant light all around Him was like that of a rainbow in a cloud on a rainy day. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the LORD. And when I saw it, I fell facedown and heard a voice speaking.
