¹所罗门作以色列众人的王。So King Solomon ruled over Israel,

²他的臣子记在下面：撒督的儿子亚撒利雅作祭司，and these were his chief officials: Azariah son of Zadok was the priest;

³示沙的两个儿子以利何烈、亚希亚作书记，亚希律的儿子约沙法作史官，Elihoreph and Ahijah, the sons of Shisha, were secretaries; Jehoshaphat son of Ahilud was the recorder;

⁴耶何耶大的儿子比拿雅作元帅，撒督和亚比亚他作祭司长，Benaiah son of Jehoiada was in charge of the army; Zadok and Abiathar were priests;

⁵拿单的儿子亚撒利雅作众吏长，王的朋友拿单的儿子撒布得作领袖，Azariah son of Nathan was in charge of the governors; Zabud son of Nathan was a priest and adviser to the king;

⁶亚希煞作家宰，亚比大的儿子亚多尼兰掌管服苦的人。Ahishar was in charge of the palace; and Adoniram son of Abda was in charge of the forced labor.

⁷所罗门在以色列全地立了十二个官吏，使他们供给王和王家的食物，每年各人供给一月。Solomon had twelve governors over all Israel to provide food for the king and his household. Each one would arrange provisions for one month of the year,

⁸他们的名字记在下面：在以法莲山地有便·户珥；and these were their names: Ben-hur in the hill country of Ephraim;

⁹在玛迦斯、沙宾、伯·示麦、以伦·伯·哈南有便·底甲；Ben-deker in Makaz, in Shaalbim, in Beth-shemesh, and in Elon-beth-hanan;

¹⁰在亚鲁泊有便·希悉，他管理梭哥和希弗全地；Ben-hesed in Arubboth (Socoh and all the land of Hepher belonged to him);

¹¹在多珥山冈（或译：全境）有便·亚比拿达，他娶了所罗门的女儿她法为妻；Ben-abinadab in Naphath-dor (Taphath, a daughter of Solomon, was his wife);

¹²在他纳和米吉多，并靠近撒拉他拿、耶斯列下边的伯·善全地，从伯·善到亚伯·米何拉直到约念之外，有亚希律的儿子巴拿；Baana son of Ahilud in Taanach, in Megiddo, and in all of Beth-shean next to Zarethan below Jezreel, from Beth-shean to Abel-meholah and on past Jokmeam;

¹³在基列的拉末有便·基别，他管理在基列的玛拿西子孙睚珥的城邑，巴珊的亚珥歌伯地的大城六十座，都有城墙和铜闩；Ben-geber in Ramoth-gilead (the villages of Jair son of Manasseh in Gilead belonged to him, as well as the region of Argob in Bashan with its sixty great cities with walls and bronze bars);

¹⁴在玛哈念有易多的儿子亚希拿达；Ahinadab son of Iddo in Mahanaim;

¹⁵在拿弗他利有亚希玛斯，他也娶了所罗门的一个女儿巴实抹为妻；Ahimaaz in Naphtali (he had married Basemath, a daughter of Solomon);

¹⁶在亚设和亚禄有户筛的儿子巴拿；Baana son of Hushai in Asher and in Aloth;

¹⁷在以萨迦有帕路亚的儿子约沙法；Jehoshaphat son of Paruah in Issachar;

¹⁸在便雅悯有以拉的儿子示每；Shimei son of Ela in Benjamin;

¹⁹在基列地，就是从前属亚摩利王西宏和巴珊王噩之地，有乌利的儿子基别一人管理。Geber son of Uri in the land of Gilead, including the territories of Sihon king of the Amorites and of Og king of Bashan. There was also one governor in the land of Judah.

²⁰犹大人和以色列人如同海边的沙那样多，都吃喝快乐。The people of Judah and Israel were as numerous as the sand on the seashore, and they were eating and drinking and rejoicing.

²¹所罗门统管诸国，从大河到非利士地，直到埃及的边界。所罗门在世的日子，这些国都进贡服事他。And Solomon reigned over all the kingdoms from the Euphrates to the land of the Philistines, as far as the border of Egypt. These kingdoms offered tribute and served Solomon all the days of his life.

²²所罗门每日所用的食物：细面三十歌珥，粗面六十歌珥，Solomon’s provisions for a single day were thirty cors of fine flour, sixty cors of meal,

²³肥牛十只，草场的牛二十只，羊一百只，还有鹿、羚羊、麃子，并肥禽。ten fat oxen, twenty range oxen, and a hundred sheep, as well as deer, gazelles, roebucks, and fattened poultry.

²⁴所罗门管理大河西边的诸王，以及从提弗萨直到迦萨的全地，四境尽都平安。For Solomon had dominion over everything west of the Euphrates—over all the kingdoms from Tiphsah to Gaza—and he had peace on all sides.

²⁵所罗门在世的日子，从但到别是巴的犹大人和以色列人都在自己的葡萄树下和无花果树下安然居住。Throughout the days of Solomon, Judah and Israel dwelt securely from Dan to Beersheba, each man under his own vine and his own fig tree.

²⁶所罗门有套车的马四万，还有马兵一万二千。Solomon had 4,000 stalls for his chariot horses and 12,000 horses.

²⁷那十二个官吏各按各月供给所罗门王，并一切与他同席之人的食物，一无所缺。Each month the governors in turn provided food for King Solomon and all who came to his table. They saw to it that nothing was lacking.

²⁸众人各按各分，将养马与快马的大麦和干草送到官吏那里。Each one also brought to the required place their quotas of barley and straw for the chariot horses and other horses.

²⁹神赐给所罗门极大的智慧聪明和广大的心，如同海沙不可测量。And God gave Solomon wisdom, exceedingly deep insight, and understanding beyond measure, like the sand on the seashore.

³⁰所罗门的智慧超过东方人和埃及人的一切智慧。Solomon’s wisdom was greater than that of all the men of the East, greater than all the wisdom of Egypt.

³¹他的智慧胜过万人，胜过以斯拉人以探，并玛曷的儿子希幔、甲各、达大的智慧。他的名声传扬在四围的列国。He was wiser than all men—wiser than Ethan the Ezrahite, and wiser than Heman, Calcol, and Darda, the sons of Mahol. And his fame spread throughout the surrounding nations.

³²他作箴言三千句，诗歌一千零五首。Solomon composed three thousand proverbs, and his songs numbered a thousand and five.

³³他讲论草木，自黎巴嫩的香柏树直到墙上长的牛膝草，又讲论飞禽走兽、昆虫水族。He spoke of trees, from the cedar in Lebanon to the hyssop growing in the wall, and he taught about animals, birds, reptiles, and fish.

³⁴天下列王听见所罗门的智慧，就都差人来听他的智慧话。So men of all nations came to listen to Solomon’s wisdom, sent by all the kings of the earth, who had heard of his wisdom.
