2亚萨的儿子撒刻、约瑟、尼探雅、亚萨利拉都归亚萨指教，遵王的旨意唱歌。From the sons of Asaph: Zaccur, Joseph, Nethaniah, and Asarelah. These sons of Asaph were under the direction of Asaph, who prophesied under the direction of the king.
3耶杜顿的儿子基大利、西利、耶筛亚、哈沙比雅、玛他提雅、示每共六人，都归他们父亲耶杜顿指教，弹琴，唱歌，称谢，颂赞耶和华。From the sons of Jeduthun: Gedaliah, Zeri, Jeshaiah, Shimei, Hashabiah, and Mattithiah—six in all—under the direction of their father Jeduthun, who prophesied with the harp, giving thanks and praise to the LORD.
4希幔的儿子布基雅、玛探雅、乌薛、细布业、耶利摩、哈拿尼雅、哈拿尼、以利亚他、基大利提、罗幔提·以谢、约施比加沙、玛罗提、何提、玛哈秀；From the sons of Heman: Bukkiah, Mattaniah, Uzziel, Shebuel, Jerimoth, Hananiah, Hanani, Eliathah, Giddalti, Romamti-ezer, Joshbekashah, Mallothi, Hothir, and Mahazioth.
5这都是的儿子，吹角颂赞。希幔奉 神之命作王的先见。 神赐给希幔十四个儿子，三个女儿，All these sons of Heman the king’s seer were given him through the promises of God to exalt him, for God had given Heman fourteen sons and three daughters.
6都归他们父亲指教，在耶和华的殿唱歌、敲钹、弹琴、鼓瑟，办 神殿的事务。亚萨、耶杜顿、希幔都是王所命定的。All these were under the direction of their fathers for the music of the house of the LORD with cymbals, harps, and lyres, for the service of the house of God. Asaph, Jeduthun, and Heman were under the direction of the king.
7他们和他们的弟兄学习颂赞耶和华；善于歌唱的共有二百八十八人。Together with their relatives, who were all trained and skillful in the songs of the LORD, they numbered 288.
8这些人无论大小，，都一同分了班次。They cast lots for their duties, young and old alike, teacher as well as pupil.
9掣签的时候，第一掣出来的是亚萨的儿子约瑟。第二是基大利；他和他弟兄并儿子共十二人。The first lot, which was for Asaph, fell to Joseph, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all; the second to Gedaliah, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all;
10第三是撒刻；他和他儿子并弟兄共十二人。the third to Zaccur, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all;
11第四是伊洗利；他和他儿子并弟兄共十二人。the fourth to Izri, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all;
12第五是尼探雅；他和他儿子并弟兄共十二人。the fifth to Nethaniah, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all;
13第六是布基雅；他和他儿子并弟兄共十二人。the sixth to Bukkiah, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all;
14第七是耶萨利拉；他和他儿子并弟兄共十二人。the seventh to Jesarelah, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all;
15第八是耶筛亚；他和他儿子并弟兄共十二人。the eighth to Jeshaiah, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all;
16第九是玛探雅；他和他儿子并弟兄共十二人。the ninth to Mattaniah, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all;

20第十三是书巴业；他和他儿子并弟兄共十二人。the thirteenth to Shubael, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all;
21第十四是玛他提雅；他和他儿子并弟兄共十二人。the fourteenth to Mattithiah, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all;
22第十五是耶利摩；他和他儿子并弟兄共十二人。the fifteenth to Jeremoth, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all;
23第十六是哈拿尼雅；他和他儿子并弟兄共十二人。the sixteenth to Hananiah, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all;
24第十七是约施比加沙；他和他儿子并弟兄共十二人。the seventeenth to Joshbekashah, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all;
25第十八是哈拿尼；他和他儿子并弟兄共十二人。the eighteenth to Hanani, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all;
26第十九是玛罗提；他和他儿子并弟兄共十二人。the nineteenth to Mallothi, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all;
