论以东的默示

¹俄巴底亚得了耶和华的默示。论以东说：我从耶和华那里听见信息，并有使者被差往列国去，说：起来吧，一同起来与以东争战！This is the vision of Obadiah: This is what the Lord GOD says about Edom—We have heard a message from the LORD; an envoy has been sent among the nations to say, “Rise up, and let us go to battle against her!”—

²我使你—以东在列国中为最小的，被人大大藐视。“Behold, I will make you small among the nations; you will be deeply despised.

狂傲自欺，必被拉下

³住在山穴中、居所在高处的啊，你因狂傲自欺，心里说：谁能将我拉下地去呢？The pride of your heart has deceived you, O dwellers in the clefts of the rocks whose habitation is the heights, who say in your heart, ‘Who can bring me down to the ground?’

⁴你虽如大鹰高飞，在星宿之间搭窝，我必从那里拉下你来。这是耶和华说的。Though you soar like the eagle and make your nest among the stars, even from there I will bring you down,” declares the LORD.

以扫被搜寻、被出卖

⁵盗贼若来在你那里，或强盗夜间而来—你何竟被剪除—岂不偷窃直到够了呢？摘葡萄的若来到你那里，岂不剩下些葡萄呢？“If thieves came to you, if robbers by night—oh, how you will be ruined—would they not steal only what they wanted? If grape gatherers came to you, would they not leave some gleanings?

⁶以扫的隐密处何竟被搜寻？他隐藏的宝物何竟被查出？But how Esau will be pillaged, his hidden treasures sought out!

⁷与你结盟的都送你上路，直到交界；与你和好的欺骗你，且胜过你；与你一同吃饭的设下网罗陷害你；在你心里毫无聪明。All the men allied with you will drive you to the border; the men at peace with you will deceive and overpower you. Those who eat your bread will set a trap for you without your awareness of it.

智慧人必被除灭

⁸耶和华说：到那日，我岂不从以东除灭智慧人？从以扫山除灭聪明人？In that day, declares the LORD, will I not destroy the wise men of Edom and the men of understanding in the mountains of Esau?

⁹提幔哪，你的勇士必惊惶，甚至以扫山的人都被杀戮剪除。Then your mighty men, O Teman, will be terrified, so that everyone in the mountains of Esau will be cut down in the slaughter.

因你向兄弟行强暴

¹⁰因你向兄弟雅各行强暴，羞愧必遮盖你，你也必永远断绝。Because of the violence against your brother Jacob, you will be covered with shame and cut off forever.

¹¹当外人掳掠雅各的财物，外邦人进入他的城门，为耶路撒冷拈阄的日子，你竟站在一旁，像与他们同伙。On the day you stood aloof while strangers carried off his wealth and foreigners entered his gate and cast lots for Jerusalem, you were just like one of them.

你不当瞪眼看着

¹²你兄弟遭难的日子，你不当瞪眼看着；犹大人被灭的日子，你不当因此欢乐；他们遭难的日子，你不当说狂傲的话。But you should not gloat in that day, your brother’s day of misfortune, nor rejoice over the people of Judah in the day of their destruction, nor boast proudly in the day of their distress.

¹³我民遭灾的日子，你不当进他们的城门；他们遭灾的日子，你不当瞪眼看着他们受苦；他们遭灾的日子，你不当伸手抢他们的财物；You should not enter the gate of My people in the day of their disaster, nor gloat over their affliction in the day of their disaster, nor loot their wealth in the day of their disaster.

¹⁴你不当站在岔路口剪除他们中间逃脱的；他们遭难的日子，你不当将他们剩下的人交付仇敌。Nor should you stand at the crossroads to cut off their fugitives, nor deliver up their survivors in the day of their distress.

耶和华的日子临近万国

¹⁵耶和华降罚的日子临近万国。你怎样行，他也必照样向你行；你的报应必归到你头上。For the Day of the LORD is near for all the nations. As you have done, it will be done to you; your recompense will return upon your own head.

¹⁶你们犹大人在我圣山怎样喝了苦杯，万国也必照样常常地喝；且喝且咽，他们就归于无有。For as you drank on My holy mountain, so all the nations will drink continually. They will drink and gulp it down; they will be as if they had never existed.

锡安山必有逃脱的人

¹⁷在锡安山必有逃脱的人，那山也必成圣；雅各家必得原有的产业。But on Mount Zion there will be deliverance, and it will be holy, and the house of Jacob will reclaim their possession.

¹⁸雅各家必成为大火；约瑟家必为火焰；以扫家必如碎秸；火必将他烧着吞灭。以扫家必无余剩的。这是耶和华说的。Then the house of Jacob will be a blazing fire, and the house of Joseph a burning flame; but the house of Esau will be stubble—Jacob will set it ablaze and consume it. Therefore no survivor will remain from the house of Esau.” For the LORD has spoken.

国度归耶和华

¹⁹南地的人必得以扫山；高原的人必得非利士地，也得以法莲地和撒马利亚地；便雅悯人必得基列。Those from the Negev will possess the mountains of Esau; those from the foothills will possess the land of the Philistines. They will occupy the fields of Ephraim and Samaria, and Benjamin will possess Gilead.

²⁰在迦南人中被掳的以色列众人必得地直到撒勒法；在西法拉中被掳的耶路撒冷人必得南地的城邑。And the exiles of this host of the Israelites will possess the land of the Canaanites as far as Zarephath; and the exiles from Jerusalem who are in Sepharad will possess the cities of the Negev.

²¹必有拯救者上到锡安山，审判以扫山；国度就归耶和华了。The deliverers will ascend Mount Zion to rule over the mountains of Esau. And the kingdom will belong to the LORD.

大力的天使拿着小书卷

¹我又看见另有一位大力的天使从天降下，披着云彩，头上有虹，脸面像日头，两脚像火柱。Then I saw another mighty angel coming down from heaven, wrapped in a cloud, with a rainbow above his head. His face was like the sun, and his legs were like pillars of fire.

²他手里拿着小书卷，是展开的。他右脚踏海，左脚踏地，He held in his hand a small scroll, which lay open. He placed his right foot on the sea and his left foot on the land.

七雷发声，要封上

³大声呼喊，好像狮子吼叫。呼喊完了，就有七雷发声。Then he cried out in a loud voice like the roar of a lion. And when he cried out, the seven thunders sounded their voices.

⁴七雷发声之后，我正要写出来，就听见从天上有声音说：“七雷所说的，你要封上，不可写出来。”When the seven thunders had spoken, I was about to put it in writing. But I heard a voice from heaven saying, “Seal up what the seven thunders have said, and do not write it down.”

天使起誓：神的奥秘要成全

⁵我所看见的那踏海踏地的天使向天举起右手来，Then the angel I had seen standing on the sea and on the land lifted up his right hand to heaven.

⁶指着那创造天和天上之物，地和地上之物，海和海中之物，直活到永永远远的，起誓说：“不再有时日了（或译：不再耽延了）。”And he swore by Him who lives forever and ever, who created heaven and everything in it, the earth and everything in it, and the sea and everything in it: “There will be no more delay!

⁷但在第七位天使吹号发声的时候，　神的奥秘就成全了，正如　神所传给他仆人众先知的佳音。But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he begins to sound his trumpet, the mystery of God will be fulfilled, just as He proclaimed to His servants the prophets.”

吃下小书卷

⁸我先前从天上所听见的那声音又吩咐我说：“你去，把那踏海踏地之天使手中展开的小书卷取过来。”Then the voice that I had heard from heaven spoke to me again, saying, “Go, take the small scroll that lies open in the hand of the angel standing on the sea and on the land.”

⁹我就走到天使那里，对他说：“请你把小书卷给我。”他对我说：“你拿着吃尽了，便叫你肚子发苦，然而在你口中要甜如蜜。”And I went to the angel and said, “Give me the small scroll.” “Take it and eat it,” he said. “It will make your stomach bitter, but in your mouth it will be as sweet as honey.”

¹⁰我从天使手中把小书卷接过来，吃尽了，在我口中果然甜如蜜，吃了以后，肚子觉得发苦了。So I took the small scroll from the angel’s hand and ate it, and it was as sweet as honey in my mouth. But when I had eaten it, my stomach turned bitter.

你必再说预言

¹¹天使（原文是他们）对我说：“你必指着多民、多国、多方、多王再说预言。”And they told me, “You must prophesy again about many peoples and nations and tongues and kings.”
