对以色列众山说预言

¹“人子啊，你要对以色列山发预言说：以色列山哪，要听耶和华的话。“And you, son of man, prophesy to the mountains of Israel and say: O mountains of Israel, hear the word of the LORD.

²主耶和华如此说：因仇敌说：‘阿哈！这永久的山冈都归我们为业了！’This is what the Lord GOD says: Because the enemy has said of you, ‘Aha! The ancient heights have become our possession,’

³所以要发预言说，主耶和华如此说：因为敌人使你荒凉，四围吞吃，好叫你归与其余的外邦人为业，并且多嘴多舌的人提起你来，百姓也说你有臭名。therefore prophesy and declare that this is what the Lord GOD says: Because they have made you desolate and have trampled you on every side, so that you became a possession of the rest of the nations and were taken up in slander by the lips of their talkers,

⁴故此，以色列山要听主耶和华的话。大山小冈、水沟山谷、荒废之地、被弃之城，为四围其余的外邦人所占据、所讥刺的，therefore, O mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord GOD. This is what the Lord GOD says to the mountains and hills, to the ravines and valleys, to the desolate ruins and abandoned cities, which have become a spoil and a mockery to the rest of the nations around you.

⁵主耶和华对你们如此说：我真发愤恨如火，责备那其余的外邦人和以东的众人。他们快乐满怀，心存恨恶，将我的地归自己为业，又看为被弃的掠物。Therefore this is what the Lord GOD says: Surely in My burning zeal I have spoken against the rest of the nations, and against all Edom, who took My land as their own possession with wholehearted joy and utter contempt, so that its pastureland became plunder.

⁶所以，你要指着以色列地说预言，对大山小冈、水沟山谷说，主耶和华如此说：我发愤恨和忿怒说，因你们曾受外邦人的羞辱，Therefore, prophesy concerning the land of Israel and tell the mountains and hills, the ravines and valleys, that this is what the Lord GOD says: Behold, I have spoken in My burning zeal because you have endured the reproach of the nations.

⁷所以我起誓说：你们四围的外邦人总要担当自己的羞辱。这是主耶和华说的。Therefore this is what the Lord GOD says: I have sworn with an uplifted hand that surely the nations around you will endure reproach of their own.

以色列山必再发枝结果

⁸“以色列山哪，你必发枝条，为我的民以色列结果子，因为他们快要来到。But you, O mountains of Israel, will produce branches and bear fruit for My people Israel, for they will soon come home.

⁹看哪，我是帮助你的，也必向你转意，使你得以耕种。For behold, I am on your side; I will turn toward you, and you will be tilled and sown.

¹⁰我必使以色列全家的人数在你上面增多，城邑有人居住，荒场再被建造。I will multiply the people upon you—the house of Israel in its entirety. The cities will be inhabited and the ruins rebuilt.

¹¹我必使人和牲畜在你上面加增；他们必生养众多。我要使你照旧有人居住，并要赐福与你比先前更多，你就知道我是耶和华。I will fill you with people and animals, and they will multiply and be fruitful. I will make you as inhabited as you once were, and I will make you prosper more than before. Then you will know that I am the LORD.

¹²我必使人，就是我的民以色列，行在你上面。他们必得你为业；你也不再使他们丧子。Yes, I will cause My people Israel to walk upon you; they will possess you, and you will be their inheritance, and you will no longer deprive them of their children.

¹³主耶和华如此说：因为人对你说：‘你是吞吃人的，又使国民丧子’，For this is what the Lord GOD says: Because people say to you, ‘You devour men and deprive your nation of its children,’

¹⁴所以主耶和华说：你必不再吞吃人，也不再使国民丧子。therefore you will no longer devour men or deprive your nation of its children, declares the Lord GOD.

¹⁵我使你不再听见各国的羞辱，不再受万民的辱骂，也不再使国民绊跌。这是主耶和华说的。”I will no longer allow the taunts of the nations to be heard against you, and you will no longer endure the reproach of the peoples or cause your nation to stumble, declares the Lord GOD.”

为我的圣名

¹⁶耶和华的话又临到我说：Again the word of the LORD came to me, saying,

¹⁷“人子啊，以色列家住在本地的时候，在行动作为上玷污那地。他们的行为在我面前，好像正在经期的妇人那样污秽。“Son of man, when the people of Israel lived in their land, they defiled it by their own ways and deeds. Their behavior before Me was like the uncleanness of a woman’s impurity.

¹⁸所以我因他们在那地上流人的血，又因他们以偶像玷污那地，就把我的忿怒倾在他们身上。So I poured out My wrath upon them because of the blood they had shed on the land, and because they had defiled it with their idols.

¹⁹我将他们分散在列国，四散在列邦，按他们的行动作为惩罚他们。I dispersed them among the nations, and they were scattered throughout the lands. I judged them according to their ways and deeds.

²⁰他们到了所去的列国，就使我的圣名被亵渎；因为人谈论他们说，这是耶和华的民，是从耶和华的地出来的。And wherever they went among the nations, they profaned My holy name, because it was said of them, ‘These are the people of the LORD, yet they had to leave His land.’

²¹我却顾惜我的圣名，就是以色列家在所到的列国中所亵渎的。But I had concern for My holy name, which the house of Israel had profaned among the nations to which they had gone.

²²“所以，你要对以色列家说，主耶和华如此说：以色列家啊，我行这事不是为你们，乃是为我的圣名，就是在你们到的列国中所亵渎的。Therefore tell the house of Israel that this is what the Lord GOD says: It is not for your sake that I will act, O house of Israel, but for My holy name, which you profaned among the nations to which you went.

²³我要使我的大名显为圣；这名在列国中已被亵渎，就是你们在他们中间所亵渎的。我在他们眼前，在你们身上显为圣的时候，他们就知道我是耶和华。这是主耶和华说的。I will show the holiness of My great name, which has been profaned among the nations—the name you have profaned among them. Then the nations will know that I am the LORD, declares the Lord GOD, when I show My holiness in you before their eyes.

新心和新灵

²⁴我必从各国收取你们，从列邦聚集你们，引导你们归回本地。For I will take you from among the nations and gather you out of all the countries, and I will bring you back into your own land.

²⁵我必用清水洒在你们身上，你们就洁净了。我要洁净你们，使你们脱离一切的污秽，弃掉一切的偶像。I will also sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean. I will cleanse you from all your impurities and all your idols.

²⁶我也要赐给你们一个新心，将新灵放在你们里面，又从你们的肉体中除掉石心，赐给你们肉心。I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will remove your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.

²⁷我必将我的灵放在你们里面，使你们顺从我的律例，谨守遵行我的典章。And I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes and to carefully observe My ordinances.

²⁸你们必住在我所赐给你们列祖之地。你们要作我的子民，我要作你们的　神。Then you will live in the land that I gave your forefathers; you will be My people, and I will be your God.

²⁹我必救你们脱离一切的污秽，也必命五谷丰登，不使你们遭遇饥荒。I will save you from all your uncleanness. I will summon the grain and make it plentiful, and I will not bring famine upon you.

³⁰我必使树木多结果子，田地多出土产，好叫你们不再因饥荒受外邦人的讥诮。I will also make the fruit of the trees and the crops of the field plentiful, so that you will no longer bear reproach among the nations on account of famine.

³¹那时，你们必追想你们的恶行和你们不善的作为，就因你们的罪孽和可憎的事厌恶自己。Then you will remember your evil ways and wicked deeds, and you will loathe yourselves for your iniquities and abominations.

³²主耶和华说：你们要知道，我这样行不是为你们。以色列家啊，当为自己的行为抱愧蒙羞。It is not for your sake that I will act, declares the Lord GOD—let it be known to you. Be ashamed and disgraced for your ways, O house of Israel!

荒地如伊甸园

³³“主耶和华如此说：我洁净你们，使你们脱离一切罪孽的日子，必使城邑有人居住，荒场再被建造。This is what the Lord GOD says: On the day I cleanse you from all your iniquities, I will cause the cities to be resettled and the ruins to be rebuilt.

³⁴过路的人虽看为荒废之地，现今这荒废之地仍得耕种。The desolate land will be cultivated instead of lying desolate in the sight of all who pass through.

³⁵他们必说：‘这先前为荒废之地，现在成如伊甸园；这荒废凄凉、毁坏的城邑现在坚固有人居住。’Then they will say, ‘This land that was desolate has become like the garden of Eden. The cities that were once ruined, desolate, and destroyed are now fortified and inhabited.’

³⁶那时，在你们四围其余的外邦人必知道我—耶和华修造那毁坏之处，培植那荒废之地。我—耶和华说过，也必成就。Then the nations around you that remain will know that I, the LORD, have rebuilt what was destroyed, and I have replanted what was desolate. I, the LORD, have spoken, and I will do it.

人数多如羊群

³⁷“主耶和华如此说：我要加增以色列家的人数，多如羊群。他们必为这事向我求问，我要给他们成就。This is what the Lord GOD says: Once again I will hear the plea of the house of Israel and do for them this: I will multiply their people like a flock.

³⁸耶路撒冷在守节作祭物所献的羊群怎样多，照样，荒凉的城邑必被人群充满。他们就知道我是耶和华。”Like the numerous flocks for sacrifices at Jerusalem during her appointed feasts, so the ruined cities will be filled with flocks of people. Then they will know that I am the LORD.”

为义受苦也是有福的

¹⁴你们就是为义受苦，也是有福的。不要怕人的威吓（的威吓：或译所怕的），也不要惊慌；But even if you should suffer for what is right, you are blessed. “Do not fear what they fear; do not be shaken.”

¹⁵只要心里尊主基督为圣。有人问你们心中盼望的缘由，就要常作准备，以温柔、敬畏的心回答各人；But in your hearts sanctify Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give a defense to everyone who asks you the reason for the hope that is in you. But respond with gentleness and respect,

¹⁶存着无亏的良心，叫你们在何事上被毁谤，就在何事上可以叫那诬赖你们在基督里有好品行的人自觉羞愧。keeping a clear conscience, so that those who slander you may be put to shame by your good behavior in Christ.

¹⁷神的旨意若是叫你们因行善受苦，总强如因行恶受苦。For it is better, if it is God’s will, to suffer for doing good than for doing evil.

基督为罪受苦

¹⁸因基督也曾一次为罪受苦（有古卷：受死），就是义的代替不义的，为要引我们到　神面前。按着肉体说，他被治死；按着灵性说，他复活了。For Christ also suffered for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive in the Spirit,

¹⁹他借这灵曾去传道给那些在监狱里的灵听，in whom He also went and preached to the spirits in prison

挪亚的方舟和洗礼

²⁰就是那从前在挪亚预备方舟、　神容忍等待的时候，不信从的人。当时进入方舟，借着水得救的不多，只有八个人。who disobeyed long ago when God waited patiently in the days of Noah while the ark was being built. In the ark a few people, only eight souls, were saved through water.

²¹这水所表明的洗礼，现在借着耶稣基督复活也拯救你们；这洗礼本不在乎除掉肉体的污秽，只求在　神面前有无亏的良心。And this water symbolizes the baptism that now saves you also—not the removal of dirt from the body, but the pledge of a clear conscience toward God—through the resurrection of Jesus Christ,

²²耶稣已经进入天堂，在　神的右边；众天使和有权柄的，并有能力的，都服从了他。who has gone into heaven and is at the right hand of God, with angels, authorities, and powers subject to Him.

不再随从情欲

¹基督既在肉身受苦，你们也当将这样的心志作为兵器，因为在肉身受过苦的，就已经与罪断绝了。Therefore, since Christ suffered in His body, arm yourselves with the same resolve, because anyone who has suffered in his body is done with sin.

²你们存这样的心，从今以后就可以不从人的情欲，只从　神的旨意在世度余下的光阴。Consequently, he does not live out his remaining time on earth for human passions, but for the will of God.

³因为往日随从外邦人的心意行邪淫、恶欲、醉酒、荒宴、群饮，并可恶拜偶像的事，时候已经够了。For you have spent enough time in the past carrying out the same desires as the Gentiles: living in debauchery, lust, drunkenness, orgies, carousing, and detestable idolatry.

⁴他们在这些事上，见你们不与他们同奔那放荡无度的路，就以为怪，毁谤你们。Because of this, they consider it strange of you not to plunge with them into the same flood of reckless indiscretion, and they heap abuse on you.

⁵他们必在那将要审判活人死人的主面前交帐。But they will have to give an account to Him who is ready to judge the living and the dead.

⁶为此，就是死人也曾有福音传给他们，要叫他们的肉体按着人受审判，他们的灵性却靠　神活着。That is why the gospel was preached even to those who are now dead, so that they might be judged as men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit.

万物的结局近了

⁷万物的结局近了。所以，你们要谨慎自守，警醒祷告。The end of all things is near. Therefore be clear-minded and sober, so that you can pray.

⁸最要紧的是彼此切实相爱，因为爱能遮掩许多的罪。Above all, love one another deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.

⁹你们要互相款待，不发怨言。Show hospitality to one another without complaining.

¹⁰各人要照所得的恩赐彼此服事，作　神百般恩赐的好管家。As good stewards of the manifold grace of God, each of you should use whatever gift he has received to serve one another.

¹¹若有讲道的，要按着　神的圣言讲；若有服事人的，要按着　神所赐的力量服事，叫　神在凡事上因耶稣基督得荣耀。原来荣耀、权能都是他的，直到永永远远。阿们！If anyone speaks, he should speak as one conveying the words of God. If anyone serves, he should serve with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory and the power forever and ever. Amen.

火炼的试验

¹²亲爱的弟兄啊，有火炼的试验临到你们，不要以为奇怪（似乎是遭遇非常的事），Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery trial that has come upon you, as though something strange were happening to you.

¹³倒要欢喜；因为你们是与基督一同受苦，使你们在他荣耀显现的时候，也可以欢喜快乐。But rejoice that you share in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may be overjoyed at the revelation of His glory.

¹⁴你们若为基督的名受辱骂，便是有福的；因为　神荣耀的灵常住在你们身上。If you are insulted for the name of Christ, you are blessed, because the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you.

¹⁵你们中间却不可有人因为杀人、偷窃、作恶、好管闲事而受苦。Indeed, none of you should suffer as a murderer or thief or wrongdoer, or even as a meddler.

¹⁶若为作基督徒受苦，却不要羞耻，倒要因这名归荣耀给　神。But if you suffer as a Christian, do not be ashamed, but glorify God that you bear that name.

审判从神的家起首

¹⁷因为时候到了，审判要从　神的家起首。若是先从我们起首，那不信从　神福音的人将有何等的结局呢？For it is time for judgment to begin with the family of God; and if it begins with us, what will the outcome be for those who disobey the gospel of God?

¹⁸若是义人仅仅得救，那不虔敬和犯罪的人将有何地可站呢？And, “If it is hard for the righteous to be saved, what will become of the ungodly and the sinner?”

¹⁹所以，那照　神旨意受苦的人要一心为善，将自己灵魂交与那信实的造化之主。So then, those who suffer according to God’s will should entrust their souls to their faithful Creator and continue to do good.
