攻击西顿

²⁰耶和华的话临到我说：Then the word of the LORD came to me, saying,

²¹“人子啊，你要向西顿预言攻击她，“Son of man, set your face against Sidon and prophesy against her.

²²说主耶和华如此说：西顿哪，我与你为敌，我必在你中间得荣耀。我在你中间施行审判、显为圣的时候，人就知道我是耶和华。And you are to declare that this is what the Lord GOD says: ‘Behold, I am against you, O Sidon, and I will be glorified within you. They will know that I am the LORD when I execute judgments against her and demonstrate My holiness through her.

²³我必使瘟疫进入西顿，使血流在她街上。被杀的必在其中仆倒，四围有刀剑临到她，人就知道我是耶和华。”I will send a plague against her and shed blood in her streets; the slain will fall within her, while the sword is against her on every side. Then they will know that I am the LORD.

²⁴“四围恨恶以色列家的人，必不再向他们作刺人的荆棘，伤人的蒺藜，人就知道我是主耶和华。”For the people of Israel will no longer face a pricking brier or a painful thorn from all around them who treat them with contempt. Then they will know that I am the Lord GOD.’

以色列必安然居住

²⁵主耶和华如此说：“我将分散在万民中的以色列家招聚回来，向他们在列邦人眼前显为圣的时候，他们就在我赐给我仆人雅各之地，仍然居住。This is what the Lord GOD says: ‘When I gather the house of Israel from the peoples among whom they have been scattered, I will show Myself holy among them in the sight of the nations. Then they will dwell in their own land, which I have given to My servant Jacob.

²⁶他们要在这地上安然居住。我向四围恨恶他们的众人施行审判以后，他们要盖造房屋，栽种葡萄园，安然居住，就知道我是耶和华—他们的　神。”And there they will dwell securely, build houses, and plant vineyards. They will dwell securely when I execute judgments against all those around them who treat them with contempt. Then they will know that I am the LORD their God.’”

法老像河中的大鱼

¹第十年十月十二日，耶和华的话临到我说：In the tenth year, on the twelfth day of the tenth month, the word of the LORD came to me, saying,

²“人子啊，你要向埃及王法老预言攻击他和埃及全地，“Son of man, set your face against Pharaoh king of Egypt and prophesy against him and against all Egypt.

³说主耶和华如此说：埃及王法老啊，我与你这卧在自己河中的大鱼为敌。你曾说：这河是我的，是我为自己造的。Speak to him and tell him that this is what the Lord GOD says: Behold, I am against you, O Pharaoh king of Egypt, O great monster who lies among his rivers, who says, ‘The Nile is mine; I made it myself.’

⁴我—耶和华必用钩子钩住你的腮颊，又使江河中的鱼贴住你的鳞甲；我必将你和所有贴住你鳞甲的鱼，从江河中拉上来，But I will put hooks in your jaws and cause the fish of your streams to cling to your scales. I will haul you up out of your rivers, and all the fish of your streams will cling to your scales.

⁵把你并江河中的鱼都抛在旷野；你必倒在田间，不被收殓，不被掩埋。我已将你给地上野兽、空中飞鸟作食物。I will leave you in the desert, you and all the fish of your streams. You will fall on the open field and will not be taken away or gathered for burial. I have given you as food to the beasts of the earth and the birds of the air.

芦苇的杖

⁶“埃及一切的居民，因向以色列家成了芦苇的杖，就知道我是耶和华。Then all the people of Egypt will know that I am the LORD. For you were only a staff of reeds to the house of Israel.

⁷他们用手持住你，你就断折，伤了他们的肩；他们倚靠你，你就断折，闪了他们的腰。When Israel took hold of you with their hands, you splintered, tearing all their shoulders; when they leaned on you, you broke, and their backs were wrenched.

⁸所以主耶和华如此说：我必使刀剑临到你，从你中间将人与牲畜剪除。Therefore this is what the Lord GOD says: I will bring a sword against you and cut off from you man and beast.

⁹埃及地必荒废凄凉，他们就知道我是耶和华。“因为法老说：‘这河是我的，是我所造的’，The land of Egypt will become a desolate wasteland. Then they will know that I am the LORD. Because you said, ‘The Nile is mine; I made it,’

¹⁰所以我必与你并你的江河为敌，使埃及地，从色弗尼塔直到古实境界，全然荒废凄凉。therefore I am against you and against your rivers. I will turn the land of Egypt into a ruin, a desolate wasteland from Migdol to Syene, and as far as the border of Cush.

¹¹人的脚、兽的蹄都不经过，四十年之久并无人居住。No foot of man or beast will pass through, and it will be uninhabited for forty years.

¹²我必使埃及地在荒凉的国中成为荒凉，使埃及城在荒废的城中变为荒废，共有四十年。我必将埃及人分散在列国，四散在列邦。”I will make the land of Egypt a desolation among desolate lands, and her cities will lie desolate for forty years among the ruined cities. And I will disperse the Egyptians among the nations and scatter them throughout the countries.

¹³主耶和华如此说：“满了四十年，我必招聚分散在各国民中的埃及人。For this is what the Lord GOD says: At the end of forty years I will gather the Egyptians from the nations to which they were scattered.

¹⁴我必叫埃及被掳的人回来，使他们归回本地巴忒罗。在那里必成为低微的国，I will restore Egypt from captivity and bring them back to the land of Pathros, the land of their origin. There they will be a lowly kingdom.

¹⁵必为列国中最低微的，也不再自高于列国之上。我必减少他们，以致不再辖制列国。Egypt will be the lowliest of kingdoms and will never again exalt itself above the nations. For I will diminish Egypt so that it will never again rule over the nations.

¹⁶埃及必不再作以色列家所倚靠的；以色列家仰望埃及人的时候，便思念罪孽。他们就知道我是主耶和华。”Egypt will never again be an object of trust for the house of Israel, but will remind them of their iniquity in turning to the Egyptians. Then they will know that I am the Lord GOD.”

埃及作巴比伦王的酬劳

¹⁷二十七年正月初一日，耶和华的话临到我说：In the twenty-seventh year, on the first day of the first month, the word of the LORD came to me, saying,

¹⁸“人子啊，巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒使他的军兵大大效劳，攻打泰尔，以致头都光秃，肩都磨破；然而他和他的军兵攻打泰尔，并没有从那里得什么酬劳。“Son of man, Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon caused his army to labor strenuously against Tyre. Every head was made bald and every shoulder made raw. But he and his army received no wages from Tyre for the labor they expended on it.

¹⁹所以主耶和华如此说：我必将埃及地赐给巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒；他必掳掠埃及群众，抢其中的财为掳物，夺其中的货为掠物，这就可以作他军兵的酬劳。Therefore this is what the Lord GOD says: I will give the land of Egypt to Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, who will carry off its wealth, seize its spoil, and remove its plunder. This will be the wages for his army.

²⁰我将埃及地赐给他，酬他所效的劳，因王与军兵是为我勤劳。这是主耶和华说的。I have given him the land of Egypt as the reward for his labor, because it was done for Me, declares the Lord GOD.

²¹“当那日，我必使以色列家的角发生，又必使你—以西结在他们中间得以开口；他们就知道我是耶和华。”In that day I will cause a horn to sprout for the house of Israel, and I will open your mouth to speak among them. Then they will know that I am the LORD.”

埃及的日子临近

¹耶和华的话又临到我说：Again the word of the LORD came to me, saying,

²“人子啊，你要发预言说，主耶和华如此说：哀哉这日！你们应当哭号。“Son of man, prophesy and declare that this is what the Lord GOD says: Wail, ‘Alas for that day!’

³因为耶和华的日子临近，就是密云之日，列国受罚之期。For the day is near, the Day of the LORD is near. It will be a day of clouds, a time of doom for the nations.

⁴必有刀剑临到埃及；在埃及被杀之人仆倒的时候，古实人就有痛苦，人民必被掳掠，基址必被拆毁。A sword will come against Egypt, and there will be anguish in Cush when the slain fall in Egypt, its wealth is taken away, and its foundations are torn down.

⁵古实人、弗人（或译：利比亚）、路德人、杂族的人民，并古巴人，以及同盟之地的人都要与埃及人一同倒在刀下。”Cush, Put, and Lud, and all the various peoples, as well as Libya and the men of the covenant land, will fall with Egypt by the sword.

⁶耶和华如此说：扶助埃及的也必倾倒。埃及因势力而有的骄傲必降低微；其中的人民，从色弗尼塔起（见二十九章十节）必倒在刀下。这是主耶和华说的。For this is what the LORD says: The allies of Egypt will fall, and her proud strength will collapse. From Migdol to Syene they will fall by the sword within her, declares the Lord GOD.

⁷埃及地在荒凉的国中必成为荒凉；埃及城在荒废的城中也变为荒废。They will be desolate among desolate lands, and their cities will lie among ruined cities.

⁸我在埃及中使火着起；帮助埃及的，都被灭绝。那时，他们就知道我是耶和华。Then they will know that I am the LORD when I set fire to Egypt and all her helpers are shattered.

⁹“到那日，必有使者坐船，从我面前出去，使安逸无虑的古实人惊惧；必有痛苦临到他们，好像埃及遭灾的日子一样。看哪，这事临近了！On that day messengers will go out from Me in ships to frighten Cush out of complacency. Anguish will come upon them on the day of Egypt’s doom. For it is indeed coming.

¹⁰主耶和华如此说：我必借巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒的手，除灭埃及众人。This is what the Lord GOD says: I will put an end to the hordes of Egypt by the hand of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon.

¹¹他和随从他的人，就是列国中强暴的，必进来毁灭这地。他们必拔刀攻击埃及，使遍地有被杀的人。He and his people with him, the most ruthless of the nations, will be brought in to destroy the land. They will draw their swords against Egypt and fill the land with the slain.

¹²我必使江河干涸，将地卖在恶人的手中；我必借外邦人的手，使这地和其中所有的变为凄凉。这是我—耶和华说的。I will make the streams dry up and sell the land to the wicked. By the hands of foreigners I will bring desolation upon the land and everything in it. I, the LORD, have spoken.

¹³主耶和华如此说：我必毁灭偶像，从挪弗除灭神像；必不再有君王出自埃及地。我要使埃及地的人惧怕。This is what the Lord GOD says: I will destroy the idols and put an end to the images in Memphis. There will no longer be a prince in Egypt, and I will instill fear in that land.

¹⁴我必使巴忒罗荒凉，在琐安中使火着起，向挪施行审判。I will lay waste Pathros, set fire to Zoan, and execute judgment on Thebes.

¹⁵我必将我的忿怒倒在埃及的保障上，就是训上，并要剪除挪的众人。I will pour out My wrath on Pelusium, the stronghold of Egypt, and cut off the crowds of Thebes.

¹⁶我必在埃及中使火着起；训必大大痛苦；挪必被攻破；挪弗白日（或译：终日）见仇敌。I will set fire to Egypt, Pelusium will writhe in anguish, Thebes will be split open, and Memphis will face daily distress.

¹⁷亚文和比伯实的少年人必倒在刀下；这些城的人必被掳掠。The young men of On and Pi-beseth will fall by the sword, and those cities will go into captivity.

¹⁸我在答比匿折断埃及的诸轭，使她因势力而有的骄傲在其中止息。那时，日光必退去；至于这城，必有密云遮蔽，其中的女子必被掳掠。The day will be darkened in Tahpanhes when I break the yoke of Egypt and her proud strength comes to an end. A cloud will cover her, and her daughters will go into captivity.

¹⁹我必这样向埃及施行审判，他们就知道我是耶和华。”So I will execute judgment on Egypt, and they will know that I am the LORD.”

打折法老的膀臂

²⁰十一年正月初七日，耶和华的话临到我说：In the eleventh year, on the seventh day of the first month, the word of the LORD came to me, saying,

²¹“人子啊，我已打折埃及王法老的膀臂；没有敷药，也没有用布缠好，使他有力持刀。“Son of man, I have broken the arm of Pharaoh king of Egypt. See, it has not been bound up for healing, or splinted for strength to hold the sword.

²²所以主耶和华如此说：看哪，我与埃及王法老为敌，必将他有力的膀臂和已打折的膀臂全行打断，使刀从他手中坠落。Therefore this is what the Lord GOD says: Behold, I am against Pharaoh king of Egypt. I will break his arms, both the strong one and the one already broken, and will make the sword fall from his hand.

²³我必将埃及人分散在列国，四散在列邦。I will disperse the Egyptians among the nations and scatter them throughout the lands.

²⁴我必使巴比伦王的膀臂有力，将我的刀交在他手中；却要打断法老的膀臂，他就在巴比伦王面前唉哼，如同受死伤的人一样。I will strengthen the arms of Babylon’s king and place My sword in his hand, but I will break the arms of Pharaoh, who will groan before him like a mortally wounded man.

²⁵我必扶持巴比伦王的膀臂，法老的膀臂却要下垂；我将我的刀交在巴比伦王手中，他必举刀攻击埃及地，他们就知道我是耶和华。I will strengthen the arms of Babylon’s king, but Pharaoh’s arms will fall limp. Then they will know that I am the LORD, when I place My sword in the hand of Babylon’s king, and he wields it against the land of Egypt.

²⁶我必将埃及人分散在列国，四散在列邦；他们就知道我是耶和华。”I will disperse the Egyptians among the nations and scatter them throughout the lands. Then they will know that I am the LORD.”

亚述像高大的香柏树

¹十一年三月初一日，耶和华的话临到我说：In the eleventh year, on the first day of the third month, the word of the LORD came to me, saying,

²“人子啊，你要向埃及王法老和他的众人说：在威势上谁能与你相比呢？“Son of man, say to Pharaoh king of Egypt and to his multitude: ‘Who can be compared to your greatness?

³亚述王曾如黎巴嫩中的香柏树，枝条荣美，影密如林，极其高大，树尖插入云中。Look at Assyria, a cedar in Lebanon, with beautiful branches that shaded the forest. It towered on high; its top was among the clouds.

⁴众水使它生长；深水使它长大。所栽之地有江河围流，汊出的水道延到田野诸树。The waters made it grow; the deep springs made it tall, directing their streams all around its base and sending their channels to all the trees of the field.

⁵所以他高大超过田野诸树；发旺的时候，枝子繁多，因得大水之力枝条长长。Therefore it towered higher than all the trees of the field. Its branches multiplied, and its boughs grew long as it spread them out because of the abundant waters.

⁶空中的飞鸟都在枝子上搭窝；田野的走兽都在枝条下生子；所有大国的人民都在它荫下居住。All the birds of the air nested in its branches, and all the beasts of the field gave birth beneath its boughs; all the great nations lived in its shade.

⁷树大条长，成为荣美，因为根在众水之旁。It was beautiful in its greatness, in the length of its limbs, for its roots extended to abundant waters.

⁸神园中的香柏树不能遮蔽它；松树不及它的枝子；枫树不及它的枝条；　神园中的树都没有它荣美。The cedars in the garden of God could not rival it; the cypresses could not compare with its branches, nor the plane trees match its boughs. No tree in the garden of God could compare with its beauty.

⁹我使它的枝条蕃多，成为荣美，以致　神伊甸园中的树都嫉妒它。”I made it beautiful with its many branches, the envy of all the trees of Eden, which were in the garden of God.’

大树被砍倒

¹⁰所以主耶和华如此说：“因它高大，树尖插入云中，心骄气傲，Therefore this is what the Lord GOD says: ‘Since it became great in height and set its top among the clouds, and it grew proud on account of its height,

¹¹我就必将他交给列国中大有威势的人；他必定办他。我因他的罪恶，已经驱逐他。I delivered it into the hand of the ruler of the nations, for him to deal with it according to its wickedness. I have banished it.

¹²外邦人，就是列邦中强暴的，将它砍断弃掉。它的枝条落在山间和一切谷中，它的枝子折断，落在地的一切河旁。地上的众民已经走去，离开它的荫下。Foreigners, the most ruthless of the nations, cut it down and left it. Its branches have fallen on the mountains and in every valley; its boughs lay broken in all the earth’s ravines. And all the peoples of the earth left its shade and abandoned it.

¹³空中的飞鸟都要宿在这败落的树上，田野的走兽都要卧在它的枝条下，All the birds of the air nested on its fallen trunk, and all the beasts of the field lived among its boughs.

¹⁴好使水旁的诸树不因高大而自尊，也不将树尖插入云中，并且那些得水滋润、有势力的，也不得高大自立。因为它们在世人中，和下坑的人都被交与死亡，到阴府去了。”This happened so that no other trees by the waters would become great in height and set their tops among the clouds, and no other well-watered trees would reach them in height. For they have all been consigned to death, to the depths of the earth, among the mortals who descend to the Pit.’

¹⁵主耶和华如此说：“它下阴间的那日，我便使人悲哀。我为它遮盖深渊，使江河凝结，大水停流；我也使黎巴嫩为它凄惨，田野的诸树都因它发昏。This is what the Lord GOD says: ‘On the day it was brought down to Sheol, I caused mourning. I covered the deep because of it; I held back its rivers; its abundant waters were restrained. I made Lebanon mourn for it, and all the trees of the field fainted because of it.

¹⁶我将它扔到阴间，与下坑的人一同下去。那时，列国听见它坠落的响声就都震动，并且伊甸的一切树—就是黎巴嫩得水滋润、最佳最美的树—都在阴府受了安慰。I made the nations quake at the sound of its downfall, when I cast it down to Sheol with those who descend to the Pit. Then all the trees of Eden, the choicest and best of Lebanon, all the well-watered trees, were consoled in the earth below.

¹⁷它们也与它同下阴间，到被杀的人那里。它们曾作它的膀臂，在列国中它的荫下居住。They too descended with it to Sheol, to those slain by the sword. As its allies they had lived in its shade among the nations.

¹⁸在这样荣耀威势上，在伊甸园诸树中，谁能与你相比呢？然而你要与伊甸的诸树一同下到阴府，在未受割礼的人中，与被杀的人一同躺卧。法老和他的群众乃是如此。这是主耶和华说的。”Who then is like you in glory and greatness among the trees of Eden? You also will be brought down to the depths of the earth to be with the trees of Eden. You will lie among the uncircumcised, with those slain by the sword. This is Pharaoh and all his multitude, declares the Lord GOD.’”

为法老作哀歌

¹十二年十二月初一日，耶和华的话临到我说：In the twelfth year, on the first day of the twelfth month, the word of the LORD came to me, saying,

²“人子啊，你要为埃及王法老作哀歌，说：从前你在列国中，如同少壮狮子；现在你却像海中的大鱼。你冲出江河，用爪搅动诸水，使江河浑浊。“Son of man, take up a lament for Pharaoh king of Egypt and say to him: ‘You are like a lion among the nations; you are like a monster in the seas. You thrash about in your rivers, churning up the waters with your feet and muddying the streams.’

³主耶和华如此说：我必用多国的人民，将我的网撒在你身上，把你拉上来。This is what the Lord GOD says: ‘I will spread My net over you with a company of many peoples, and they will draw you up in My net.

⁴我必将你丢在地上，抛在田野，使空中的飞鸟都落在你身上，使遍地的野兽吃你得饱。I will abandon you on the land and hurl you into the open field. I will cause all the birds of the air to settle upon you, and all the beasts of the earth to eat their fill of you.

⁵我必将你的肉丢在山间，用你高大的尸首填满山谷。I will put your flesh on the mountains and fill the valleys with your remains.

⁶我又必用你的血浇灌你所游泳之地，漫过山顶；河道都必充满。I will drench the land with the flow of your blood, all the way to the mountains—the ravines will be filled.

⁷我将你扑灭的时候，要把天遮蔽，使众星昏暗，以密云遮掩太阳，月亮也不放光。When I extinguish you, I will cover the heavens and darken their stars. I will cover the sun with a cloud, and the moon will not give its light.

⁸我必使天上的亮光都在你以上变为昏暗，使你的地上黑暗。这是主耶和华说的。All the shining lights in the heavens I will darken over you, and I will bring darkness upon your land,’ declares the Lord GOD.

⁹“我使你败亡的风声传到你所不认识的各国。那时，我必使多民的心因你愁烦。‘I will trouble the hearts of many peoples, when I bring about your destruction among the nations, in countries you do not know.

¹⁰我在许多国民和君王面前向你抡我的刀，国民就必因你惊奇，君王也必因你极其恐慌。在你仆倒的日子，他们各人为自己的性命时刻战兢。”I will cause many peoples to be appalled over you, and their kings will shudder in horror because of you when I brandish My sword before them. On the day of your downfall each of them will tremble every moment for his life.’

¹¹主耶和华如此说：“巴比伦王的刀必临到你。For this is what the Lord GOD says: ‘The sword of the king of Babylon will come against you!

¹²我必借勇士的刀使你的众民仆倒；这勇士都是列国中强暴的。他们必使埃及的骄傲归于无有；埃及的众民必被灭绝。I will make your hordes fall by the swords of the mighty, the most ruthless of all nations. They will ravage the pride of Egypt and all her multitudes will be destroyed.

¹³我必从埃及多水旁除灭所有的走兽；人脚兽蹄必不再搅浑这水。I will slaughter all her cattle beside the abundant waters. No human foot will muddy them again, and no cattle hooves will disturb them.

¹⁴那时，我必使埃及河澄清，江河像油缓流。这是主耶和华说的。Then I will let her waters settle and will make her rivers flow like oil,’ declares the Lord GOD.

¹⁵我使埃及地变为荒废凄凉；这地缺少从前所充满的，又击杀其中一切的居民。那时，他们就知道我是耶和华。‘When I make the land of Egypt a desolation and empty it of all that filled it, when I strike down all who live there, then they will know that I am the LORD.’

¹⁶“人必用这哀歌去哀哭，列国的女子为埃及和她的群众也必以此悲哀。这是主耶和华说的。”This is the lament they will chant for her; the daughters of the nations will chant it. Over Egypt and all her multitudes they will chant it, declares the Lord GOD.”

下到阴间的列国

¹⁷十二年十二月十五日，耶和华的话临到我说：In the twelfth year, on the fifteenth day of the month, the word of the LORD came to me, saying,

¹⁸“人子啊，你要为埃及群众哀号，又要将埃及和有名之国的女子，并下坑的人，一同扔到阴府去。“Son of man, wail for the multitudes of Egypt, and consign her and the daughters of the mighty nations to the depths of the earth with those who descend to the Pit:

¹⁹你埃及的美丽胜过谁呢？你下去与未受割礼的人一同躺卧吧！Whom do you surpass in beauty? Go down and be placed with the uncircumcised!

²⁰他们必在被杀的人中仆到。她被交给刀剑，要把她和她的群众拉去。They will fall among those slain by the sword. The sword is appointed! Let them drag her away along with all her multitudes.

²¹强盛的勇士要在阴间对埃及王和帮助他的说话；他们是未受割礼被杀的人，已经下去，躺卧不动。Mighty chiefs will speak from the midst of Sheol about Egypt and her allies: ‘They have come down and lie with the uncircumcised, with those slain by the sword.’

²²“亚述和她的众民都在那里，她民的坟墓在她四围；他们都是被杀倒在刀下的。Assyria is there with her whole company; her graves are all around her. All of them are slain, fallen by the sword.

²³他们的坟墓在坑中极深之处。他的众民在他坟墓的四围，都是被杀倒在刀下的；他们曾在活人之地使人惊恐。Her graves are set in the depths of the Pit, and her company is all around her grave. All of them are slain, fallen by the sword—those who once spread terror in the land of the living.

²⁴“以拦也在那里，她的群众在她坟墓的四围，都是被杀倒在刀下、未受割礼而下阴府的；他们曾在活人之地使人惊恐，并且与下坑的人一同担当羞辱。Elam is there with all her multitudes around her grave. All of them are slain, fallen by the sword—those who went down uncircumcised to the earth below, who once spread their terror in the land of the living. They bear their disgrace with those who descend to the Pit.

²⁵人给她和她的群众在被杀的人中设立床榻。她民的坟墓在她四围，他们都是未受割礼被刀杀的；他们曾在活人之地使人惊恐，并且与下坑的人一同担当羞辱。以拦已经放在被杀的人中。Among the slain they prepare a resting place for Elam with all her hordes, with her graves all around her. All of them are uncircumcised, slain by the sword, although their terror was once spread in the land of the living. They bear their disgrace with those who descend to the Pit. They are placed among the slain.

²⁶“米设、土巴，和她们的群众都在那里。她民的坟墓在她四围，他们都是未受割礼被刀杀的；他们曾在活人之地使人惊恐。Meshech and Tubal are there with all their multitudes, with their graves all around them. All of them are uncircumcised, slain by the sword, because they spread their terror in the land of the living.

²⁷他们不得与那未受割礼仆倒的勇士一同躺卧；这些勇士带着兵器下阴间，头枕刀剑，骨头上有本身的罪孽；他们曾在活人之地使勇士惊恐。They do not lie down with the fallen warriors of old, who went down to Sheol with their weapons of war, whose swords were placed under their heads, whose shields rested on their bones, although the terror of the mighty was once in the land of the living.

²⁸“法老啊，你必在未受割礼的人中败坏，与那些被杀的人一同躺卧。But you too will be shattered and lie down among the uncircumcised, with those slain by the sword.

²⁹“以东也在那里。她君王和一切首领虽然仗着势力，还是放在被杀的人中；他们必与未受割礼的和下坑的人一同躺卧。Edom is there, and all her kings and princes, who despite their might are laid among those slain by the sword. They lie down with the uncircumcised, with those who descend to the Pit.

³⁰“在那里有北方的众王子和一切西顿人，都与被杀的人下去。他们虽然仗着势力使人惊恐，还是蒙羞。他们未受割礼，和被刀杀的一同躺卧，与下坑的人一同担当羞辱。All the leaders of the north and all the Sidonians are there; they went down in disgrace with the slain, despite the terror of their might. They lie uncircumcised with those slain by the sword and bear their shame with those who descend to the Pit.

³¹“法老看见他们，便为他被杀的军队受安慰。这是主耶和华说的。Pharaoh will see them and be comforted over all his multitude—Pharaoh and all his army, slain by the sword, declares the Lord GOD.

³²我任凭法老在活人之地使人惊恐，法老和他的群众必放在未受割礼和被杀的人中。这是主耶和华说的。”For I will spread My terror in the land of the living, so that Pharaoh and all his multitude will be laid to rest among the uncircumcised, with those slain by the sword, declares the Lord GOD.”

爱慕纯净的灵奶

¹所以，你们既除去一切的恶毒（或译：阴毒）、诡诈，并假善、嫉妒，和一切毁谤的话，Rid yourselves, therefore, of all malice, deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and slander.

²就要爱慕那纯净的灵奶，像才生的婴孩爱慕奶一样，叫你们因此渐长，以致得救。Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation,

³你们若尝过主恩的滋味，就必如此。now that you have tasted that the Lord is good.

活石与灵宫

⁴主乃活石，固然是被人所弃的，却是被　神所拣选、所宝贵的。As you come to Him, the living stone, rejected by men but chosen and precious in God’s sight,

⁵你们来到主面前，也就像活石，被建造成为灵宫，作圣洁的祭司，借着耶稣基督奉献　神所悦纳的灵祭。you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

宝贵的房角石

⁶因为经上说：看哪，我把所拣选、所宝贵的房角石安放在锡安；信靠他的人必不至于羞愧。For it stands in Scripture: “See, I lay in Zion a stone, a chosen and precious cornerstone; and the one who believes in Him will never be put to shame.”

被拣选的族类

⁹惟有你们是被拣选的族类，是有君尊的祭司，是圣洁的国度，是属　神的子民，要叫你们宣扬那召你们出黑暗入奇妙光明者的美德。But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, to proclaim the virtues of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.

¹⁰你们从前算不得子民，现在却作了　神的子民；从前未曾蒙怜恤，现在却蒙了怜恤。Once you were not a people, but now you are the people of God; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.
