南方树林的火

⁴⁵耶和华的话临到我说：Now the word of the LORD came to me, saying,

⁴⁶“人子啊，你要面向南方，向南滴下预言攻击南方田野的树林。“Son of man, set your face toward the south, preach against it, and prophesy against the forest of the Negev.

⁴⁷对南方的树林说，要听耶和华的话。主耶和华如此说：我必使火在你中间着起，烧灭你中间的一切青树和枯树，猛烈的火焰必不熄灭。从南到北，人的脸面都被烧焦。Say to the forest of the Negev: Hear the word of the LORD! This is what the Lord GOD says: I am about to ignite in you a fire, and it will devour all your trees, both green and dry. The blazing flame will not be quenched, and by it every face from south to north will be scorched.

⁴⁸凡有血气的都必知道是我—耶和华使火着起，这火必不熄灭。”Then all people will see that I, the LORD, have kindled it; it will not be quenched.”

⁴⁹于是我说：“哎！主耶和华啊，人都指着我说：他岂不是说比喻的吗？”Then I said, “Ah, Lord GOD, they are saying of me, ‘Is he not just telling parables?’”

耶和华的刀出鞘

¹耶和华的话临到我说：And the word of the LORD came to me, saying,

²“人子啊，你要面向耶路撒冷和圣所滴下预言，攻击以色列地。“Son of man, set your face against Jerusalem and preach against the sanctuaries. Prophesy against the land of Israel

³对以色列地说，耶和华如此说：我与你为敌，并要拔刀出鞘，从你中间将义人和恶人一并剪除。and tell her that this is what the LORD says: ‘I am against you, and I will draw My sword from its sheath and cut off from you both the righteous and the wicked.

⁴我既要从你中间剪除义人和恶人，所以我的刀要出鞘，自南至北攻击一切有血气的；Because I will cut off both the righteous and the wicked, My sword will be unsheathed against everyone from south to north.

⁵一切有血气的就知道我—耶和华已经拔刀出鞘，必不再入鞘。Then all flesh will know that I, the LORD, have taken My sword from its sheath, not to return it again.’

⁶人子啊，你要叹息，在他们眼前弯着腰，苦苦地叹息。But you, son of man, groan! Groan before their eyes with a broken heart and bitter grief.

⁷他们问你说：‘为何叹息呢？’你就说：‘因为有风声、灾祸要来。人心都必消化，手都发软，精神衰败，膝弱如水。看哪，这灾祸临近，必然成就。这是主耶和华说的。’”And when they ask, ‘Why are you groaning?’ you are to say, ‘Because of the news that is coming. Every heart will melt, and every hand will go limp. Every spirit will faint, and every knee will turn to water.’ Yes, it is coming and it will surely happen, declares the Lord GOD.”

磨快擦亮的刀

⁸耶和华的话临到我说：Again the word of the LORD came to me, saying,

⁹“人子啊，你要预言。耶和华吩咐我如此说：有刀、有刀，是磨快擦亮的；“Son of man, prophesy and tell them that this is what the Lord says: ‘A sword, a sword, sharpened and polished—

¹⁰磨快为要行杀戮，擦亮为要像闪电。我们岂可快乐吗？罚我子的杖藐视各树。it is sharpened for the slaughter, polished to flash like lightning! Should we rejoice in the scepter of My son? The sword despises every such stick.

¹¹这刀已经交给人擦亮，为要应手使用。这刀已经磨快擦亮，好交在行杀戮的人手中。The sword is appointed to be polished, to be grasped in the hand. It is sharpened and polished, to be placed in the hand of the slayer.

¹²人子啊，你要呼喊哀号，因为这刀临到我的百姓和以色列一切的首领。他们和我的百姓都交在刀下，所以你要拍腿叹息。Cry out and wail, O son of man, for the sword is wielded against My people; it is against all the princes of Israel! They are tossed to the sword with My people; therefore strike your thigh.

¹³有试验的事；若那藐视的杖归于无有，怎么样呢？这是主耶和华说的。Surely testing will come! And what if even the scepter, which the sword despises, does not continue?’ declares the Lord GOD.

¹⁴“人子啊，你要拍掌预言。我—耶和华要使这刀，就是致死伤的刀，一连三次加倍刺人，进入他们的内屋，使大人受死伤的就是这刀。‘So then, son of man, prophesy and strike your hands together. Let the sword strike two times, even three. It is a sword that slays, a sword of great slaughter closing in on every side!

¹⁵我设立这恐吓人的刀，攻击他们的一切城门，使他们的心消化，加增他们跌倒的事。哎！这刀造得像闪电，磨得尖利，要行杀戮。So that their hearts may melt and many may stumble, I have appointed at all their gates a sword for slaughter. Yes, it is ready to flash like lightning; it is drawn for slaughter.

¹⁶刀啊，你归在右边，摆在左边；你面向哪方，就向那方杀戮。Slash to the right; set your blade to the left—wherever your blade is directed.

¹⁷我也要拍掌，并要使我的忿怒止息。这是我—耶和华说的。”I too will strike My hands together, and I will satisfy My wrath.’ I, the LORD, have spoken.”

巴比伦王在岔路口占卜

¹⁸耶和华的话又临到我说：Then the word of the LORD came to me, saying,

¹⁹“人子啊，你要定出两条路，好使巴比伦王的刀来。这两条路必从一地分出来，又要在通城的路口上画出一只手来。“Now you, son of man, mark out two roads for the sword of the king of Babylon to take, both starting from the same land. And make a signpost where the road branches off to each city.

²⁰你要定出一条路，使刀来到亚扪人的拉巴；又要定出一条路，使刀来到犹大的坚固城耶路撒冷。Mark out one road for the sword to come against Rabbah of the Ammonites, and another against Judah into fortified Jerusalem.

²¹因为巴比伦王站在岔路那里，在两条路口上要占卜。他摇签（原文是箭）求问神像，察看牺牲的肝；For the king of Babylon stands at the fork in the road, at the junction of the two roads, to seek an omen: He shakes the arrows, he consults the idols, he examines the liver.

²²在右手中拿着为耶路撒冷占卜的签，使他安设撞城锤，张口叫杀，扬声呐喊，筑垒造台，以撞城锤，攻打城门。In his right hand appears the portent for Jerusalem, where he is to set up battering rams, to call for the slaughter, to lift a battle cry, to direct the battering rams against the gates, to build a ramp, and to erect a siege wall.

²³据那些曾起誓的犹大人看来，这是虚假的占卜；但巴比伦王要使他们想起罪孽，以致将他们捉住。”It will seem like a false omen to the eyes of those who have sworn allegiance to him, but it will draw attention to their guilt and take them captive.

除掉冠，摘下冕

²⁴主耶和华如此说：“因你们的过犯显露，使你们的罪孽被记念，以致你们的罪恶在行为上都彰显出来；又因你们被记念，就被捉住。Therefore this is what the Lord GOD says: ‘Because you have drawn attention to your guilt, exposing your transgressions, so that your sins are revealed in all your deeds—because you have come to remembrance—you shall be taken in hand.

²⁵你这受死伤行恶的以色列王啊，罪孽的尽头到了，受报的日子已到。And you, O profane and wicked prince of Israel, the day has come for your final punishment.’

²⁶主耶和华如此说：当除掉冠，摘下冕，景况必不再像先前；要使卑者升为高，使高者降为卑。This is what the Lord GOD says: ‘Remove the turban, and take off the crown. Things will not remain as they are: Exalt the lowly and bring low the exalted.

²⁷我要将这国倾覆，倾覆，而又倾覆；这国也必不再有，直等到那应得的人来到，我就赐给他。”A ruin, a ruin, I will make it a ruin! And it will not be restored until the arrival of Him to whom it belongs, to whom I have assigned the right of judgment.’

刀临到亚扪人

²⁸“人子啊，要发预言说：主耶和华论到亚扪人和他们的凌辱，吩咐我如此说：有刀，有拔出来的刀，已经擦亮，为行杀戮，使他像闪电以行吞灭。Now prophesy, son of man, and declare that this is what the Lord GOD says concerning the Ammonites and their contempt: ‘A sword! A sword is drawn for slaughter, polished to consume, to flash like lightning—

²⁹人为你见虚假的异象，行谎诈的占卜，使你倒在受死伤之恶人的颈项上。他们罪孽到了尽头，受报的日子已到。while they offer false visions for you and lying divinations about you—to be placed on the necks of the wicked who are slain, whose day has come, the time of their final punishment.

³⁰你将刀收入鞘吧！在你受造之处、生长之地，我必刑罚你。Return the sword to its sheath! In the place where you were created, in the land of your origin, I will judge you.

³¹我必将我的恼恨倒在你身上，将我烈怒的火喷在你身上；又将你交在善于杀灭的畜类人手中。I will pour out My anger upon you; I will breathe the fire of My fury against you; I will hand you over to brutal men, skilled in destruction.

³²你必当柴被火焚烧，你的血必流在国中，你必不再被记念，因为这是我—耶和华说的。”You will be fuel for the fire. Your blood will stain your own land. You will not be remembered, for I, the LORD, have spoken.’”

流人血的城

¹耶和华的话又临到我说：Then the word of the LORD came to me, saying,

²“人子啊，你要审问审问这流人血的城吗？当使她知道她一切可憎的事。“As for you, son of man, will you judge her? Will you pass judgment on the city of bloodshed? Then confront her with all her abominations

³你要说，主耶和华如此说：哎！这城有流人血的事在其中，叫她受报的日期来到，又做偶像玷污自己，陷害自己。and tell her that this is what the Lord GOD says: ‘O city who brings her own doom by shedding blood within her walls and making idols to defile herself,

⁴你因流了人的血，就为有罪；你做了偶像，就玷污自己，使你受报之日临近，报应之年来到。所以我叫你受列国的凌辱和列邦的讥诮。you are guilty of the blood you have shed, and you are defiled by the idols you have made. You have brought your days to a close and have come to the end of your years. Therefore I have made you a reproach to the nations and a mockery to all the lands.

⁵你这名臭、多乱的城啊，那些离你近、离你远的都必讥诮你。Those near and far will mock you, O infamous city, full of turmoil.

⁶“看哪，以色列的首领各逞其能，在你中间流人之血。See how every prince of Israel within you has used his power to shed blood.

⁷在你中间有轻慢父母的，有欺压寄居的，有亏负孤儿寡妇的。Father and mother are treated with contempt. Within your walls the foreign resident is exploited, the fatherless and the widow are oppressed.

⁸你藐视了我的圣物，干犯了我的安息日。You have despised My holy things and profaned My Sabbaths.

⁹在你中间有谗谤人、流人血的；有在山上吃过祭偶像之物的，有行淫乱的。Among you are slanderous men bent on bloodshed; within you are those who eat on the mountain shrines and commit acts of indecency.

¹⁰在你中间有露继母下体羞辱父亲的，有玷辱月经不洁净之妇人的。In you they have uncovered the nakedness of their fathers; in you they violate women during their menstrual impurity.

¹¹这人与邻舍的妻行可憎的事；那人贪淫玷污儿妇；还有玷辱同父之姊妹的。One man commits an abomination with his neighbor’s wife; another wickedly defiles his daughter-in-law; and yet another violates his sister, his own father’s daughter.

¹²在你中间有为流人血受贿赂的；有向借钱的弟兄取利，向借粮的弟兄多要的。且因贪得无厌，欺压邻舍夺取财物，竟忘了我。这是主耶和华说的。In you they take bribes to shed blood. You engage in usury, take excess interest, and extort your neighbors. But Me you have forgotten, declares the Lord GOD.

¹³“看哪，我因你所得不义之财和你中间所流的血，就拍掌叹息。Now look, I strike My hands together against your unjust gain and against the blood you have shed in your midst.

¹⁴到了我惩罚你的日子，你的心还能忍受吗？你的手还能有力吗？我—耶和华说了这话，就必照着行。Will your courage endure or your hands be strong in the day I deal with you? I, the LORD, have spoken, and I will act.

¹⁵我必将你分散在列国，四散在列邦。我也必从你中间除掉你的污秽。I will disperse you among the nations and scatter you throughout the lands; I will purge your uncleanness.

¹⁶你必在列国人的眼前因自己所行的被亵渎，你就知道我是耶和华。”And when you have defiled yourself in the eyes of the nations, then you will know that I am the LORD.’”

炉中的渣滓

¹⁷耶和华的话临到我说：Then the word of the LORD came to me, saying,

¹⁸“人子啊，以色列家在我看为渣滓。他们都是炉中的铜、锡、铁、铅，都是银渣滓。“Son of man, the house of Israel has become dross to Me. All of them are copper, tin, iron, and lead inside the furnace; they are but the dross of silver.

¹⁹所以主耶和华如此说：因你们都成为渣滓，我必聚集你们在耶路撒冷中。Therefore this is what the Lord GOD says: ‘Because all of you have become dross, behold, I will gather you into Jerusalem.

²⁰人怎样将银、铜、铁、铅、锡聚在炉中，吹火熔化；照样，我也要发怒气和忿怒，将你们聚集放在城中，熔化你们。Just as one gathers silver, copper, iron, lead, and tin into the furnace to melt with a fiery blast, so I will gather you in My anger and wrath, leave you there, and melt you.

²¹我必聚集你们，把我烈怒的火吹在你们身上，你们就在其中熔化。Yes, I will gather you together and blow on you with the fire of My wrath, and you will be melted within the city.

²²银子怎样熔化在炉中，你们也必照样熔化在城中，你们就知道我—耶和华是将忿怒倒在你们身上了。”As silver is melted in a furnace, so you will be melted within the city. Then you will know that I, the LORD, have poured out My wrath upon you.’”

先知、祭司、首领都败坏

²³耶和华的话临到我说：And the word of the LORD came to me, saying,

²⁴“人子啊，你要对这地说：你是未得洁净之地，在恼恨的日子也没有雨下在你以上。“Son of man, say to her, ‘In the day of indignation, you are a land that has not been cleansed, upon which no rain has fallen.’

²⁵其中的先知同谋背叛，如咆哮的狮子抓撕掠物。他们吞灭人民，抢夺财宝，使这地多有寡妇。The conspiracy of the princes in her midst is like a roaring lion tearing its prey. They devour the people, seize the treasures and precious things, and multiply the widows within her.

²⁶其中的祭司强解我的律法，亵渎我的圣物，不分别圣的和俗的，也不使人分辨洁净的和不洁净的，又遮眼不顾我的安息日；我也在他们中间被亵慢。Her priests do violence to My law and profane My holy things. They make no distinction between the holy and the common, and they fail to distinguish between the clean and the unclean. They disregard My Sabbaths, so that I am profaned among them.

²⁷其中的首领仿佛豺狼抓撕掠物，杀人流血，伤害人命，要得不义之财。Her officials within her are like wolves tearing their prey, shedding blood, and destroying lives for dishonest gain.

²⁸其中的先知为百姓用未泡透的灰抹墙，就是为他们见虚假的异象，用谎诈的占卜，说：‘主耶和华如此说’，其实耶和华没有说。Her prophets whitewash these deeds by false visions and lying divinations, saying, ‘This is what the Lord GOD says,’ when the LORD has not spoken.

²⁹国内众民一味地欺压，惯行抢夺，亏负困苦穷乏的，背理欺压寄居的。The people of the land have practiced extortion and committed robbery. They have oppressed the poor and needy and have exploited the foreign resident without justice.

找不着站在破口的人

³⁰我在他们中间寻找一人重修墙垣，在我面前为这国站在破口防堵，使我不灭绝这国，却找不着一个。I searched for a man among them to repair the wall and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, so that I should not destroy it. But I found no one.

³¹所以我将恼恨倒在他们身上，用烈怒的火灭了他们，照他们所行的报应在他们头上。这是主耶和华说的。”So I have poured out My indignation upon them and consumed them with the fire of My fury. I have brought their ways down upon their own heads, declares the Lord GOD.”

忍耐等候主来

⁷弟兄们哪，你们要忍耐，直到主来。看哪，农夫忍耐等候地里宝贵的出产，直到得了秋雨春雨。Be patient, then, brothers, until the Lord’s coming. See how the farmer awaits the precious fruit of the soil—how patient he is for the fall and spring rains.

⁸你们也当忍耐，坚固你们的心，因为主来的日子近了。You, too, be patient and strengthen your hearts, because the Lord’s coming is near.

⁹弟兄们，你们不要彼此埋怨，免得受审判。看哪，审判的主站在门前了。Do not complain about one another, brothers, so that you will not be judged. Look, the Judge is standing at the door!

¹⁰弟兄们，你们要把那先前奉主名说话的众先知当作能受苦能忍耐的榜样。Brothers, as an example of patience in affliction, take the prophets who spoke in the name of the Lord.

¹¹那先前忍耐的人，我们称他们是有福的。你们听见过约伯的忍耐，也知道主给他的结局，明显主是满心怜悯，大有慈悲。See how blessed we consider those who have persevered. You have heard of Job’s perseverance and have seen the outcome from the Lord. The Lord is full of compassion and mercy.

不可起誓

¹²我的弟兄们，最要紧的是不可起誓；不可指着天起誓，也不可指着地起誓，无论何誓都不可起。你们说话，是，就说是；不是，就说不是，免得你们落在审判之下。Above all, my brothers, do not swear, not by heaven or earth or by any other oath. Simply let your “Yes” be yes, and your “No,” no, so that you will not fall under judgment.

受苦的该祷告

¹³你们中间有受苦的呢，他就该祷告；有喜乐的呢，他就该歌颂。Is any one of you suffering? He should pray. Is anyone cheerful? He should sing praises.

¹⁴你们中间有病了的呢，他就该请教会的长老来；他们可以奉主的名用油抹他，为他祷告。Is any one of you sick? He should call the elders of the church to pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord.

¹⁵出于信心的祈祷要救那病人，主必叫他起来；他若犯了罪，也必蒙赦免。And the prayer offered in faith will restore the one who is sick. The Lord will raise him up. If he has sinned, he will be forgiven.

彼此认罪，互相代求

¹⁶所以你们要彼此认罪，互相代求，使你们可以得医治。义人祈祷所发的力量是大有功效的。Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man has great power to prevail.

¹⁷以利亚与我们是一样性情的人，他恳切祷告，求不要下雨，雨就三年零六个月不下在地上。Elijah was a man just like us. He prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the land for three and a half years.

¹⁸他又祷告，天就降下雨来，地也生出土产。Again he prayed, and the heavens gave rain, and the earth yielded its crops.

使失迷的人回转

¹⁹我的弟兄们，你们中间若有失迷真道的，有人使他回转，My brothers, if one of you should wander from the truth and someone should bring him back,

²⁰这人该知道：叫一个罪人从迷路上转回便是救一个灵魂不死，并且遮盖许多的罪。consider this: Whoever turns a sinner from the error of his way will save his soul from death and cover over a multitude of sins.
