巴比伦围困耶路撒冷

¹犹大王西底家第九年十月，巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒率领全军来围困耶路撒冷。In the ninth year of Zedekiah king of Judah, in the tenth month, Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon marched against Jerusalem with his entire army and laid siege to the city.

城被攻破

²西底家十一年四月初九日，城被攻破。And on the ninth day of the fourth month of Zedekiah’s eleventh year, the city was breached.

³耶路撒冷被攻取的时候，巴比伦王的首领尼甲·沙利薛、三甲·尼波、撒西金—拉撒力、尼甲·沙利薛—拉墨，并巴比伦王其余的一切首领都来坐在中门。Then all the officials of the king of Babylon entered and sat in the Middle Gate: Nergal-sharezer of Samgar, Nebo-sarsekim the Rabsaris, Nergal-sharezer the Rabmag, and all the rest of the officials of the king of Babylon.

西底家逃跑被擒

⁴犹大王西底家和一切兵丁看见他们，就在夜间从靠近王园两城中间的门出城逃跑，往亚拉巴逃去。When Zedekiah king of Judah and all the soldiers saw them, they fled. They left the city at night by way of the king’s garden, through the gate between the two walls, and they went out along the route to the Arabah.

⁵迦勒底的军队追赶他们，在耶利哥的平原追上西底家，将他拿住，带到哈马地的利比拉、巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒那里；尼布甲尼撒就审判他。But the army of the Chaldeans pursued them and overtook Zedekiah in the plains of Jericho. They seized him and brought him up to Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon at Riblah in the land of Hamath, where he pronounced judgment on him.

⁶巴比伦王在利比拉、西底家眼前杀了他的众子，又杀了犹大的一切贵胄，There at Riblah the king of Babylon slaughtered the sons of Zedekiah before his eyes, and he also killed all the nobles of Judah.

⁷并且剜西底家的眼睛，用铜链锁着他，要带到巴比伦去。Then he put out Zedekiah’s eyes and bound him with bronze chains to take him to Babylon.

焚城掳民

⁸迦勒底人用火焚烧王宫和百姓的房屋，又拆毁耶路撒冷的城墙。The Chaldeans set fire to the palace of the king and to the houses of the people, and they broke down the walls of Jerusalem.

⁹那时，护卫长尼布撒拉旦将城里所剩下的百姓和投降他的逃民，以及其余的民都掳到巴比伦去了。Then Nebuzaradan captain of the guard carried away to Babylon the remnant of the people who had remained in the city, along with the deserters who had defected to him.

¹⁰护卫长尼布撒拉旦却将民中毫无所有的穷人留在犹大地，当时给他们葡萄园和田地。But Nebuzaradan left behind in the land of Judah some of the poor people who had no property, and at that time he gave them vineyards and fields.

巴比伦王善待耶利米

¹¹巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒提到耶利米，嘱咐护卫长尼布撒拉旦说：Now Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon had given orders about Jeremiah through Nebuzaradan captain of the guard, saying,

¹²“你领他去，好好地看待他，切不可害他；他对你怎么说，你就向他怎么行。”“Take him, look after him, and do not let any harm come to him; do for him whatever he says.”

¹³护卫长尼布撒拉旦和尼布沙斯班—拉撒力、尼甲·沙利薛—拉墨，并巴比伦王的一切官长，So Nebuzaradan captain of the guard, Nebushazban the Rabsaris, Nergal-sharezer the Rabmag, and all the captains of the king of Babylon

¹⁴打发人去，将耶利米从护卫兵院中提出来，交与沙番的孙子亚希甘的儿子基大利，带回家去。于是耶利米住在民中。had Jeremiah brought from the courtyard of the guard, and they turned him over to Gedaliah son of Ahikam, the son of Shaphan, to take him home. So Jeremiah remained among his own people.

以伯‧米勒必蒙拯救

¹⁵耶利米还囚在护卫兵院中的时候，耶和华的话临到他说：And while Jeremiah had been confined in the courtyard of the guard, the word of the LORD had come to him:

¹⁶“你去告诉古实人以伯·米勒说，万军之耶和华—以色列的　神如此说：我说降祸不降福的话必临到这城，到那时必在你面前成就了。“Go and tell Ebed-melech the Cushite that this is what the LORD of Hosts, the God of Israel, says: ‘I am about to fulfill My words against this city for harm and not for good, and on that day they will be fulfilled before your eyes.

¹⁷耶和华说：到那日我必拯救你，你必不致交在你所怕的人手中。But I will deliver you on that day, declares the LORD, and you will not be delivered into the hands of the men whom you fear.

¹⁸我定要搭救你，你不致倒在刀下，却要以自己的命为掠物，因你倚靠我。这是耶和华说的。”For I will surely rescue you so that you do not fall by the sword. Because you have trusted in Me, you will escape with your life like a spoil of war, declares the LORD.’”

神藉儿子晓谕我们

¹神既在古时借着众先知多次多方地晓谕列祖，On many past occasions and in many different ways, God spoke to our fathers through the prophets.

²就在这末世借着他儿子晓谕我们；又早已立他为承受万有的，也曾借着他创造诸世界。But in these last days He has spoken to us by His Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, and through whom He made the universe.

³他是　神荣耀所发的光辉，是　神本体的真像，常用他权能的命令托住万有。他洗净了人的罪，就坐在高天至大者的右边。The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of His nature, upholding all things by His powerful word. After He had provided purification for sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high.

儿子远超过天使

⁴他所承受的名，既比天使的名更尊贵，就远超过天使。So He became as far superior to the angels as the name He has inherited is excellent beyond theirs.

⁵所有的天使，　神从来对哪一个说：你是我的儿子，我今日生你？又指着哪一个说：我要作他的父，他要作我的子？For to which of the angels did God ever say: “You are My Son; today I have become Your Father”? Or again: “I will be His Father, and He will be My Son”?

⁶再者，　神使长子到世上来的时候（或译：　神再使长子到世上来的时候），就说：　神的使者都要拜他。And again, when God brings His firstborn into the world, He says: “Let all God’s angels worship Him.”

天使是仆役，子坐宝座

⁷论到使者，又说：　神以风为使者，以火焰为仆役；Now about the angels He says: “He makes His angels winds, His servants flames of fire.”

⁸论到子却说：　神啊，你的宝座是永永远远的；你的国权是正直的。But about the Son He says: “Your throne, O God, endures forever and ever, and justice is the scepter of Your kingdom.

⁹你喜爱公义，恨恶罪恶；所以　神，就是你的　神，用喜乐油膏你，胜过膏你的同伴；You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness; therefore God, Your God, has anointed You above Your companions with the oil of joy.”

子永不改变

¹⁰又说：主啊，你起初立了地的根基；天也是你手所造的。And: “In the beginning, O Lord, You laid the foundations of the earth, and the heavens are the work of Your hands.

¹¹天地都要灭没，你却要长存。天地都要像衣服渐渐旧了；They will perish, but You remain; they will all wear out like a garment.

¹²你要将天地卷起来，像一件外衣，天地就都改变了。惟有你永不改变；你的年数没有穷尽。You will roll them up like a robe; like a garment they will be changed; but You remain the same, and Your years will never end.”

¹³所有的天使，　神从来对哪一个说：你坐在我的右边，等我使你仇敌作你的脚凳？Yet to which of the angels did God ever say: “Sit at My right hand until I make Your enemies a footstool for Your feet”?

¹⁴天使岂不都是服役的灵、奉差遣为那将要承受救恩的人效力吗？Are not the angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?
