愿你裂天而降

¹愿你裂天而降；愿山在你面前震动—If only You would rend the heavens and come down, so that mountains would quake at Your presence,

²好像火烧干柴，又像火将水烧开，使你敌人知道你的名，使列国在你面前发颤！as fire kindles the brushwood and causes the water to boil, to make Your name known to Your enemies, so that the nations will tremble at Your presence!

³你曾行我们不能逆料可畏的事。那时你降临，山岭在你面前震动。When You did awesome works that we did not expect, You came down, and the mountains trembled at Your presence.

⁴从古以来，人未曾听见、未曾耳闻、未曾眼见在你以外有什么神为等候他的人行事。From ancient times no one has heard, no ear has perceived, no eye has seen any God besides You, who acts on behalf of those who wait for Him.

我们的义像污秽的衣服

⁵你迎接那欢喜行义、记念你道的人；你曾发怒，我们仍犯罪；这景况已久，我们还能得救吗？You welcome those who gladly do right, who remember Your ways. Surely You were angry, for we sinned. How can we be saved if we remain in our sins?

⁶我们都像不洁净的人；所有的义都像污秽的衣服。我们都像叶子渐渐枯干；我们的罪孽好像风把我们吹去。Each of us has become like something unclean, and all our righteous acts are like filthy rags; we all wither like a leaf, and our iniquities carry us away like the wind.

⁷并且无人求告你的名；无人奋力抓住你。原来你掩面不顾我们，使我们因罪孽消化。No one calls on Your name or strives to take hold of You. For You have hidden Your face from us and delivered us into the hand of our iniquity.

我们是泥，你是窑匠

⁸耶和华啊，现在你仍是我们的父！我们是泥，你是窑匠；我们都是你手的工作。But now, O LORD, You are our Father; we are the clay, and You are the potter; we are all the work of Your hand.

⁹耶和华啊，求你不要大发震怒，也不要永远记念罪孽。求你垂顾我们，我们都是你的百姓。Do not be angry, O LORD, beyond measure; do not remember our iniquity forever. Oh, look upon us, we pray; we are all Your people!

¹⁰你的圣邑变为旷野。锡安变为旷野；耶路撒冷成为荒场。Your holy cities have become a wilderness. Zion has become a wasteland and Jerusalem a desolation.

¹¹我们圣洁华美的殿—就是我们列祖赞美你的所在被火焚烧；我们所羡慕的美地尽都荒废。Our holy and beautiful temple, where our fathers praised You, has been burned with fire, and all that was dear to us lies in ruins.

¹²耶和华啊，有这些事，你还忍得住吗？你仍静默使我们深受苦难吗？After all this, O LORD, will You restrain Yourself? Will You keep silent and afflict us beyond measure?

神整天向悖逆的百姓伸手

¹素来没有访问我的，现在求问我；没有寻找我的，我叫他们遇见；没有称为我名下的，我对他们说：我在这里！我在这里！“I revealed Myself to those who did not ask for Me; I was found by those who did not seek Me. To a nation that did not call My name, I said, ‘Here I am! Here I am!’

²我整天伸手招呼那悖逆的百姓；他们随自己的意念行不善之道。All day long I have held out My hands to an obstinate people who walk in the wrong path, who follow their own imaginations,

³这百姓时常当面惹我发怒；在园中献祭，在坛（原文是砖）上烧香；to a people who continually provoke Me to My face, sacrificing in the gardens and burning incense on altars of brick,

⁴在坟墓间坐着，在隐密处住宿，吃猪肉；他们器皿中有可憎之物做的汤；sitting among the graves, spending nights in secret places, eating the meat of pigs and polluted broth from their bowls.

⁵且对人说：你站开吧！不要挨近我，因为我比你圣洁。主说：这些人是我鼻中的烟，是整天烧着的火。They say, ‘Keep to yourself; do not come near me, for I am holier than you!’ Such people are smoke in My nostrils, a fire that burns all day long.

^6–7看哪，这都写在我面前。我必不静默，必施行报应，必将你们的罪孽和你们列祖的罪孽，就是在山上烧香，在冈上亵渎我的罪孽，一同报应在他们后人怀中，我先要把他们所行的量给他们；这是耶和华说的。Behold, it is written before Me: I will not keep silent, but I will repay; I will pay it back into their laps, both for your iniquities and for those of your fathers,” says the LORD. “Because they burned incense on the mountains and scorned Me on the hills, I will measure into their laps full payment for their former deeds.”

葡萄中寻得新酒

⁸耶和华如此说：葡萄中寻得新酒，人就说：不要毁坏，因为福在其中。我因我仆人的缘故也必照样而行，不将他们全然毁灭。This is what the LORD says: “As the new wine is found in a cluster of grapes, and men say, ‘Do not destroy it, for it contains a blessing,’ so I will act on behalf of My servants; I will not destroy them all.

⁹我必从雅各中领出后裔，从犹大中领出承受我众山的。我的选民必承受；我的仆人要在那里居住。And I will bring forth descendants from Jacob, and heirs from Judah; My elect will possess My mountains, and My servants will dwell there.

¹⁰沙仑平原必成为羊群的圈；亚割谷必成为牛群躺卧之处，都为寻求我的民所得。Sharon will become a pasture for flocks, and the Valley of Achor a resting place for herds, for My people who seek Me.

离弃神的必被杀

¹¹但你们这些离弃耶和华、忘记我的圣山、给时运摆筵席（原文是桌子）、给天命盛满调和酒的，But you who forsake the LORD, who forget My holy mountain, who set a table for Fortune and fill bowls of mixed wine for Destiny,

¹²我要命定你们归在刀下，都必屈身被杀；因为我呼唤，你们没有答应；我说话，你们没有听从；反倒行我眼中看为恶的，拣选我所不喜悦的。I will destine you for the sword, and you will all kneel down to be slaughtered, because I called and you did not answer, I spoke and you did not listen; you did evil in My sight and chose that in which I did not delight.”

仆人与背道者的不同结局

¹³所以，主耶和华如此说：我的仆人必得吃，你们却饥饿；我的仆人必得喝，你们却干渴；我的仆人必欢喜，你们却蒙羞。Therefore this is what the Lord GOD says: “My servants will eat, but you will go hungry; My servants will drink, but you will go thirsty; My servants will rejoice, but you will be put to shame.

¹⁴我的仆人因心中高兴欢呼，你们却因心中忧愁哀哭，又因心里忧伤哀号。My servants will shout for joy with a glad heart, but you will cry out with a heavy heart and wail with a broken spirit.

¹⁵你们必留下自己的名，为我选民指着赌咒。主耶和华必杀你们，另起别名称呼他的仆人。You will leave behind your name as a curse for My chosen ones, and the Lord GOD will slay you; but to His servants He will give another name.

¹⁶这样，在地上为自己求福的，必凭真实的　神求福；在地上起誓的，必指真实的　神起誓。因为，从前的患难已经忘记，也从我眼前隐藏了。Whoever invokes a blessing in the land will do so by the God of truth, and whoever takes an oath in the land will swear by the God of truth. For the former troubles will be forgotten and hidden from My sight.

新天新地

¹⁷看哪！我造新天新地；从前的事不再被记念，也不再追想。For behold, I will create new heavens and a new earth. The former things will not be remembered, nor will they come to mind.

¹⁸你们当因我所造的永远欢喜快乐；因我造耶路撒冷为人所喜，造其中的居民为人所乐。But be glad and rejoice forever in what I create; for I will create Jerusalem to be a joy and its people to be a delight.

¹⁹我必因耶路撒冷欢喜，因我的百姓快乐；其中必不再听见哭泣的声音和哀号的声音。I will rejoice in Jerusalem and take delight in My people. The sounds of weeping and crying will no longer be heard in her.

²⁰其中必没有数日夭亡的婴孩，也没有寿数不满的老者；因为百岁死的仍算孩童，有百岁死的罪人算被咒诅。No longer will a nursing infant live but a few days, or an old man fail to live out his years. For the youth will die at a hundred years, and he who fails to reach a hundred will be considered accursed.

²¹他们要建造房屋，自己居住；栽种葡萄园，吃其中的果子。They will build houses and dwell in them; they will plant vineyards and eat their fruit.

²²他们建造的，别人不得住；他们栽种的，别人不得吃；因为我民的日子必像树木的日子；我选民亲手劳碌得来的必长久享用。No longer will they build houses for others to inhabit, nor plant for others to eat. For as is the lifetime of a tree, so will be the days of My people, and My chosen ones will fully enjoy the work of their hands.

²³他们必不徒然劳碌，所生产的，也不遭灾害，因为都是蒙耶和华赐福的后裔；他们的子孙也是如此。They will not labor in vain or bear children doomed to disaster; for they will be a people blessed by the LORD—they and their descendants with them.

²⁴他们尚未求告，我就应允；正说话的时候，我就垂听。Even before they call, I will answer, and while they are still speaking, I will hear.

²⁵豺狼必与羊羔同食；狮子必吃草与牛一样；尘土必作蛇的食物。在我圣山的遍处，这一切都不伤人，不害物。这是耶和华说的。The wolf and the lamb will feed together, and the lion will eat straw like the ox, but the food of the serpent will be dust. They will neither harm nor destroy on all My holy mountain,” says the LORD.

天是我的座位

¹耶和华如此说：天是我的座位；地是我的脚凳。你们要为我造何等的殿宇？哪里是我安息的地方呢？This is what the LORD says: “Heaven is My throne, and earth is My footstool. What kind of house will you build for Me? Or where will My place of repose be?

²耶和华说：这一切都是我手所造的，所以就都有了。但我所看顾的，就是虚心（原文是贫穷）痛悔、因我话而战兢的人。Has not My hand made all these things? And so they came into being,” declares the LORD. “This is the one I will esteem: he who is humble and contrite in spirit, who trembles at My word.

³假冒为善的宰牛，好像杀人，献羊羔，好像打折狗项，献供物，好像献猪血，烧乳香，好像称颂偶像。这等人拣选自己的道路，心里喜悦行可憎恶的事。Whoever slaughters an ox is like one who slays a man; whoever sacrifices a lamb is like one who breaks a dog’s neck; whoever presents a grain offering is like one who offers pig’s blood; whoever offers frankincense is like one who blesses an idol. Indeed, they have chosen their own ways and delighted in their abominations.

⁴我也必拣选迷惑他们的事，使他们所惧怕的临到他们；因为我呼唤，无人答应；我说话，他们不听从；反倒行我眼中看为恶的，拣选我所不喜悦的。So I will choose their punishment and I will bring terror upon them, because I called and no one answered, I spoke and no one listened. But they did evil in My sight and chose that in which I did not delight.”

⁵你们因耶和华言语战兢的人当听他的话：你们的弟兄—就是恨恶你们，因我名赶出你们的，曾说：愿耶和华得荣耀，使我们得见你们的喜乐；但蒙羞的究竟是他们！You who tremble at His word, hear the word of the LORD: “Your brothers who hate you and exclude you because of My name have said, ‘Let the LORD be glorified that we may see your joy!’ But they will be put to shame.”

⁶有喧哗的声音出自城中！有声音出于殿中！是耶和华向仇敌施行报应的声音！Hear the uproar from the city; listen to the voice from the temple! It is the voice of the LORD, repaying His enemies what they deserve!

锡安一劬劳便生下儿女

⁷锡安未曾劬劳就生产，未觉疼痛就生出男孩。“Before she was in labor, she gave birth; before she was in pain, she delivered a boy.

⁸国岂能一日而生？民岂能一时而产？因为锡安一劬劳便生下儿女，这样的事谁曾听见？谁曾看见呢？Who has heard of such as this? Who has seen such things? Can a country be born in a day or a nation be delivered in an instant? Yet as soon as Zion was in labor, she gave birth to her children.

⁹耶和华说：我既使她临产，岂不使她生产呢？你的　神说：我既使她生产，岂能使她闭胎不生呢？Shall I bring a baby to the point of birth and not deliver it?” says the LORD. “Or will I who deliver close the womb?” says your God.

神像母亲安慰你们

¹⁰你们爱慕耶路撒冷的都要与她一同欢喜快乐；你们为她悲哀的都要与她一同乐上加乐；Be glad for Jerusalem and rejoice over her, all who love her. Rejoice greatly with her, all who mourn over her,

¹¹使你们在她安慰的怀中吃奶得饱，使他们得她丰盛的荣耀，犹如挤奶，满心喜乐。so that you may nurse and be satisfied at her comforting breasts; you may drink deeply and delight yourselves in her glorious abundance.

¹²耶和华如此说：我要使平安延及她，好像江河，使列国的荣耀延及她，如同涨溢的河。你们要从中享受（原文是咂）；你们必蒙抱在肋旁，摇弄在膝上。For this is what the LORD says: “I will extend peace to her like a river, and the wealth of nations like a flowing stream; you will nurse and be carried on her arm, and bounced upon her knees.

¹³母亲怎样安慰儿子，我就照样安慰你们；你们也必因（或译：在）耶路撒冷得安慰。As a mother comforts her son, so will I comfort you, and you will be consoled over Jerusalem.”

¹⁴你们看见，就心中快乐；你们的骨头必得滋润像嫩草一样；而且耶和华的手向他仆人所行的必被人知道；他也要向仇敌发恼恨。When you see, you will rejoice, and you will flourish like grass; then the hand of the LORD will be revealed to His servants, but His wrath will be shown to His enemies.

神在火中降临

¹⁵看哪，耶和华必在火中降临；他的车辇像旋风，以烈怒施行报应，以火焰施行责罚；For behold, the LORD will come with fire—His chariots are like a whirlwind—to execute His anger with fury and His rebuke with flames of fire.

¹⁶因为耶和华在一切有血气的人身上，必以火与刀施行审判；被耶和华所杀的必多。For by fire and by His sword, the LORD will execute judgment on all flesh, and many will be slain by the LORD.

¹⁷“那些分别为圣、洁净自己的，进入园内跟在其中一个人的后头，吃猪肉和仓鼠并可憎之物，他们必一同灭绝；这是耶和华说的。“Those who consecrate and purify themselves to enter the groves—to follow one in the center of those who eat the flesh of swine and vermin and rats—will perish together,” declares the LORD.

万民要看见神的荣耀

¹⁸“我知道他们的行为和他们的意念。时候将到，我必将万民万族（族：原文是舌）聚来，看见我的荣耀，“And I, knowing their deeds and thoughts, am coming to gather all nations and tongues, and they will come and see My glory.

¹⁹我要显神迹（或译：记号）在他们中间。逃脱的，我要差到列国去，就是到他施、普勒、拉弓的路德和土巴、雅完，并素来没有听见我名声、没有看见我荣耀辽远的海岛；他们必将我的荣耀传扬在列国中。I will establish a sign among them, and I will send survivors from among them to the nations—to Tarshish, Put, and the archers of Lud; to Tubal, Javan, and the islands far away who have not heard of My fame or seen My glory. So they will proclaim My glory among the nations.

²⁰他们必将你们的弟兄从列国中送回，使他们或骑马，或坐车，坐轿，骑骡子，骑独峰驼，到我的圣山耶路撒冷，作为供物献给耶和华，好像以色列人用洁净的器皿盛供物奉到耶和华的殿中；这是耶和华说的。And they will bring all your brothers from all the nations as a gift to the LORD on horses and chariots and wagons, on mules and camels, to My holy mountain Jerusalem,” says the LORD, “just as the Israelites bring an offering in a clean vessel to the house of the LORD.”

²¹耶和华说：我也必从他们中间取人为祭司，为利未人。”“And I will select some of them as priests and Levites,” says the LORD.

²²耶和华说：我所要造的新天新地，怎样在我面前长存；你们的后裔和你们的名字也必照样长存。“For just as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, will endure before Me,” declares the LORD, “so your descendants and your name will endure.

²³每逢月朔、安息日，凡有血气的必来在我面前下拜。这是耶和华说的。From one New Moon to another and from one Sabbath to another, all mankind will come to worship before Me,” says the LORD.

²⁴他们必出去观看那些违背我人的尸首；因为他们的虫是不死的；他们的火是不灭的；凡有血气的都必憎恶他们。“As they go forth, they will see the corpses of the men who have rebelled against Me; for their worm will never die, their fire will never be quenched, and they will be a horror to all mankind.”

主的日子像夜间的贼

¹弟兄们，论到时候、日期，不用写信给你们，Now about the times and seasons, brothers, we do not need to write to you.

²因为你们自己明明晓得，主的日子来到，好像夜间的贼一样。For you are fully aware that the Day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night.

³人正说“平安稳妥”的时候，灾祸忽然临到他们，如同产难临到怀胎的妇人一样，他们绝不能逃脱。While people are saying, “Peace and security,” destruction will come upon them suddenly, like labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.

作光明之子，警醒谨守

⁴弟兄们，你们却不在黑暗里，叫那日子临到你们像贼一样。But you, brothers, are not in the darkness so that this day should overtake you like a thief.

⁵你们都是光明之子，都是白昼之子。我们不是属黑夜的，也不是属幽暗的。For you are all sons of the light and sons of the day; we do not belong to the night or to the darkness.

⁶所以，我们不要睡觉像别人一样，总要警醒谨守。So then, let us not sleep as the others do, but let us remain awake and sober.

⁷因为睡了的人是在夜间睡，醉了的人是在夜间醉。For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk, get drunk at night.

⁸但我们既然属乎白昼，就应当谨守，把信和爱当作护心镜遮胸，把得救的盼望当作头盔戴上。But since we belong to the day, let us be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and the helmet of our hope of salvation.

⁹因为　神不是预定我们受刑，乃是预定我们借着我们主耶稣基督得救。For God has not appointed us to suffer wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.

¹⁰他替我们死，叫我们无论醒着，睡着，都与他同活。He died for us so that, whether we are awake or asleep, we may live together with Him.

¹¹所以，你们该彼此劝慰，互相建立，正如你们素常所行的。Therefore encourage and build one another up, just as you are already doing.

敬重领袖，彼此和睦

¹²弟兄们，我们劝你们敬重那在你们中间劳苦的人，就是在主里面治理你们、劝戒你们的；But we ask you, brothers, to acknowledge those who work diligently among you, who care for you in the Lord and who admonish you.

¹³又因他们所做的工，用爱心格外尊重他们。你们也要彼此和睦。In love, hold them in highest regard because of their work. Live in peace with one another.

¹⁴我们又劝弟兄们，要警戒不守规矩的人，勉励灰心的人，扶助软弱的人，也要向众人忍耐。And we urge you, brothers, to admonish the unruly, encourage the fainthearted, help the weak, and be patient with everyone.

¹⁵你们要谨慎，无论是谁都不可以恶报恶；或是彼此相待，或是待众人，常要追求良善。Make sure that no one repays evil for evil. Always pursue what is good for one another and for all people.

常常喜乐，不住祷告

¹⁶要常常喜乐，Rejoice at all times.

¹⁷不住地祷告，Pray without ceasing.

¹⁸凡事谢恩；因为这是　神在基督耶稣里向你们所定的旨意。Give thanks in every circumstance, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

不要消灭圣灵的感动

¹⁹不要消灭圣灵的感动；Do not extinguish the Spirit.

²⁰不要藐视先知的讲论。Do not treat prophecies with contempt,

²¹但要凡事察验；善美的要持守，but test all things. Hold fast to what is good.

²²各样的恶事要禁戒不做。Abstain from every form of evil.

愿神使你们全然成圣

²³愿赐平安的　神亲自使你们全然成圣！又愿你们的灵与魂与身子得蒙保守，在我们主耶稣基督降临的时候，完全无可指摘！Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely, and may your entire spirit, soul, and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

²⁴那召你们的本是信实的，他必成就这事。The One who calls you is faithful, and He will do it.

最后的问安

²⁵请弟兄们为我们祷告。Brothers, pray for us as well.

²⁶与众弟兄亲嘴问安，务要圣洁。Greet all the brothers with a holy kiss.

²⁷我指着主嘱咐你们，要把这信念给众弟兄听。I charge you before the Lord to have this letter read to all the brothers.

²⁸愿我主耶稣基督的恩常与你们同在！The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.
