以斯拉的家谱

¹这事以后，波斯王亚达薛西年间，有个以斯拉，他是西莱雅的儿子，西莱雅是亚撒利雅的儿子，亚撒利雅是希勒家的儿子，Many years later, during the reign of Artaxerxes king of Persia, Ezra son of Seraiah, the son of Azariah, the son of Hilkiah,

²希勒家是沙龙的儿子，沙龙是撒督的儿子，撒督是亚希突的儿子，the son of Shallum, the son of Zadok, the son of Ahitub,

³亚希突是亚玛利雅的儿子，亚玛利雅是亚撒利雅的儿子，亚撒利雅是米拉约的儿子，the son of Amariah, the son of Azariah, the son of Meraioth,

⁴米拉约是西拉希雅的儿子，西拉希雅是乌西的儿子，乌西是布基的儿子，the son of Zerahiah, the son of Uzzi, the son of Bukki,

⁵布基是亚比书的儿子，亚比书是非尼哈的儿子，非尼哈是以利亚撒的儿子，以利亚撒是大祭司亚伦的儿子。the son of Abishua, the son of Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the chief priest—

通达律法的文士

⁶这以斯拉从巴比伦上来，他是敏捷的文士，通达耶和华—以色列　神所赐摩西的律法书。王允准他一切所求的，是因耶和华—他　神的手帮助他。this Ezra came up from Babylon. He was a scribe skilled in the Law of Moses, which the LORD, the God of Israel, had given. The king had granted Ezra all his requests, for the hand of the LORD his God was upon him.

⁷亚达薛西王第七年，以色列人、祭司、利未人、歌唱的、守门的、尼提宁，有上耶路撒冷的。So in the seventh year of King Artaxerxes, he went up to Jerusalem with some of the Israelites, including priests, Levites, singers, gatekeepers, and temple servants.

⁸王第七年五月，以斯拉到了耶路撒冷。Ezra arrived in Jerusalem in the fifth month of the seventh year of the king.

⁹正月初一日，他从巴比伦起程；因他　神施恩的手帮助他，五月初一日就到了耶路撒冷。He had begun the journey from Babylon on the first day of the first month, and he arrived in Jerusalem on the first day of the fifth month, for the gracious hand of his God was upon him.

¹⁰以斯拉定志考究遵行耶和华的律法，又将律例典章教训以色列人。For Ezra had set his heart to study the Law of the LORD, to practice it, and to teach its statutes and ordinances in Israel.

亚达薛西王的谕旨

¹¹祭司以斯拉是通达耶和华诫命和赐以色列之律例的文士。亚达薛西王赐给他们谕旨，上面写着说：This is the text of the letter King Artaxerxes had given to Ezra the priest and scribe, an expert in the commandments and statutes of the LORD to Israel:

¹²“诸王之王亚达薛西，达于祭司以斯拉通达天上　神律法大德的文士，云云。Artaxerxes, king of kings. To Ezra the priest, the scribe of the Law of the God of heaven: Greetings.

¹³住在我国中的以色列人、祭司、利未人，凡甘心上耶路撒冷去的，我降旨准他们与你同去。I hereby decree that any volunteers among the Israelites in my kingdom, including the priests and Levites, may go up with you to Jerusalem.

¹⁴王与七个谋士既然差你去，照你手中　神的律法书察问犹大和耶路撒冷的景况；You are sent by the king and his seven counselors to evaluate Judah and Jerusalem according to the Law of your God, which is in your hand.

¹⁵又带金银，就是王和谋士甘心献给住耶路撒冷、以色列　神的，Moreover, you are to take with you the silver and gold that the king and his counselors have freely offered to the God of Israel, whose dwelling is in Jerusalem,

¹⁶并带你在巴比伦全省所得的金银，和百姓、祭司乐意献给耶路撒冷—他们　神殿的礼物。together with all the silver and gold you may find in all the province of Babylon, as well as the freewill offerings of the people and priests to the house of their God in Jerusalem.

¹⁷所以你当用这金银，急速买公牛、公绵羊、绵羊羔，和同献的素祭奠祭之物，献在耶路撒冷—你们　神殿的坛上。With this money, therefore, you are to buy as many bulls, rams, and lambs as needed, together with their grain offerings and drink offerings, and offer them on the altar at the house of your God in Jerusalem.

¹⁸剩下的金银，你和你的弟兄看着怎样好，就怎样用，总要遵着你们　神的旨意。You and your brothers may do whatever seems best with the rest of the silver and gold, according to the will of your God.

¹⁹所交给你　神殿中使用的器皿，你要交在耶路撒冷　神面前。You must deliver to the God of Jerusalem all the articles given to you for the service of the house of your God.

²⁰你　神殿里若再有需用的经费，你可以从王的府库里支取。And if anything else is needed for the house of your God that you may have occasion to supply, you may pay for it from the royal treasury.

吩咐河西库官供应

²¹“我—亚达薛西王又降旨与河西的一切库官，说：‘通达天上　神律法的文士祭司以斯拉，无论向你们要什么，你们要速速地备办，I, King Artaxerxes, decree to all the treasurers west of the Euphrates: Whatever Ezra the priest, the scribe of the Law of the God of heaven, may require of you, it must be provided promptly,

²²就是银子直到一百他连得，麦子一百柯珥，酒一百罢特，油一百罢特，盐不计其数，也要给他。up to a hundred talents of silver, a hundred cors of wheat, a hundred baths of wine, a hundred baths of olive oil, and salt without limit.

²³凡天上之　神所吩咐的，当为天上　神的殿详细办理。为何使忿怒临到王和王众子的国呢？Whatever is commanded by the God of heaven must be done diligently for His house. For why should wrath fall on the realm of the king and his sons?

²⁴我又晓谕你们，至于祭司、利未人、歌唱的、守门的，和尼提宁，并在　神殿当差的人，不可叫他们进贡，交课，纳税。’And be advised that you have no authority to impose tribute, duty, or toll on any of the priests, Levites, singers, doorkeepers, temple servants, or other servants of this house of God.

委任以斯拉治理、教导

²⁵“以斯拉啊，要照着你　神赐你的智慧，将所有明白你　神律法的人立为士师、审判官，治理河西的百姓，使他们教训一切不明白　神律法的人。And you, Ezra, according to the wisdom of your God, which you possess, are to appoint magistrates and judges to judge all the people west of the Euphrates—all who know the laws of your God. And you are to teach these laws to anyone who does not know them.

²⁶凡不遵行你　神律法和王命令的人就当速速定他的罪，或治死，或充军，或抄家，或囚禁。”If anyone does not keep the law of your God and the law of the king, let a strict judgment be executed against him, whether death, banishment, confiscation of property, or imprisonment.

以斯拉称颂神

²⁷以斯拉说：“耶和华—我们列祖的　神是应当称颂的！因他使王起这心意修饰耶路撒冷耶和华的殿，Blessed be the LORD, the God of our fathers, who has put into the heart of the king to so honor the house of the LORD in Jerusalem,

²⁸又在王和谋士，并大能的军长面前施恩于我。因耶和华—我　神的手帮助我，我就得以坚强，从以色列中招聚首领，与我一同上来。”and who has shown me favor before the king, his counselors, and all his powerful officials. And because the hand of the LORD my God was upon me, I took courage and gathered the leaders of Israel to return with me.

同行归回的族长

¹当亚达薛西王年间，同我从巴比伦上来的人，他们的族长和他们的家谱记在下面：These are the family heads and genealogical records of those who returned with me from Babylon during the reign of King Artaxerxes:

²属非尼哈的子孙有革顺；属以他玛的子孙有但以理；属大卫的子孙有哈突；from the descendants of Phinehas, Gershom; from the descendants of Ithamar, Daniel; from the descendants of David, Hattush

³属巴录的后裔，就是示迦尼的子孙有撒迦利亚，同着他，按家谱计算，男丁一百五十人；of the descendants of Shecaniah; from the descendants of Parosh, Zechariah, and with him were registered 150 men;

⁴属巴哈·摩押的子孙有西拉希雅的儿子以利约乃，同着他有男丁二百；from the descendants of Pahath-Moab, Eliehoenai son of Zerahiah, and with him 200 men;

⁵属示迦尼的子孙有雅哈悉的儿子，同着他有男丁三百；from the descendants of Zattu, Shecaniah son of Jahaziel, and with him 300 men;

⁶属亚丁的子孙有约拿单的儿子以别，同着他有男丁五十；from the descendants of Adin, Ebed son of Jonathan, and with him 50 men;

⁷属以拦的子孙有亚他利雅的儿子耶筛亚，同着他有男丁七十；from the descendants of Elam, Jeshaiah son of Athaliah, and with him 70 men;

⁸属示法提雅的子孙有米迦勒的儿子西巴第雅，同着他有男丁八十；from the descendants of Shephatiah, Zebadiah son of Michael, and with him 80 men;

⁹属约押的子孙有耶歇的儿子俄巴底亚，同着他有男丁二百一十八；from the descendants of Joab, Obadiah son of Jehiel, and with him 218 men;

¹⁰属示罗密的子孙有约细斐的儿子，同着他有男丁一百六十；from the descendants of Bani, Shelomith son of Josiphiah, and with him 160 men;

¹¹属比拜的子孙有比拜的儿子撒迦利亚，同着他有男丁二十八；from the descendants of Bebai, Zechariah son of Bebai, and with him 28 men;

¹²属押甲的子孙有哈加坦的儿子约哈难，同着他有男丁一百一十；from the descendants of Azgad, Johanan son of Hakkatan, and with him 110 men;

¹³属亚多尼干的子孙，就是末尾的，他们的名字是以利法列、耶利、示玛雅，同着他们有男丁六十；from the later descendants of Adonikam, these were their names: Eliphelet, Jeiel, and Shemaiah, and with them 60 men;

¹⁴属比革瓦伊的子孙有乌太和撒布，同着他们有男丁七十。and from the descendants of Bigvai, both Uthai and Zaccur, and with them 70 men.

招聚利未人

¹⁵我招聚这些人在流入亚哈瓦的河边，我们在那里住了三日。我查看百姓和祭司，见没有利未人在那里，Now I assembled these exiles at the canal that flows to Ahava, and we camped there three days. And when I searched among the people and priests, I found no Levites there.

¹⁶就召首领以利以谢、亚列、示玛雅、以利拿单、雅立、以利拿单、拿单、撒迦利亚、米书兰，又召教习约雅立和以利拿单。Then I summoned the leaders: Eliezer, Ariel, Shemaiah, Elnathan, Jarib, Elnathan, Nathan, Zechariah, and Meshullam, as well as the teachers Joiarib and Elnathan.

¹⁷我打发他们往迦西斐雅地方去见那里的首领易多，又告诉他们当向易多和他的弟兄尼提宁说什么话，叫他们为我们　神的殿带使用的人来。And I sent them to Iddo, the leader at Casiphia, with a message for him and his kinsmen, the temple servants at Casiphia, that they should bring to us ministers for the house of our God.

¹⁸蒙我们　神施恩的手帮助我们，他们在以色列的曾孙、利未的孙子、抹利的后裔中带一个通达人来；还有示利比和他的众子与弟兄共一十八人。And since the gracious hand of our God was upon us, they brought us Sherebiah—a man of insight from the descendants of Mahli son of Levi, the son of Israel—along with his sons and brothers, 18 men;

¹⁹又有哈沙比雅，同着他有米拉利的子孙耶筛亚，并他的众子和弟兄共二十人。also Hashabiah, together with Jeshaiah, from the descendants of Merari, and his brothers and their sons, 20 men.

²⁰从前大卫和众首领派尼提宁服事利未人，现在从这尼提宁中也带了二百二十人来，都是按名指定的。They also brought 220 of the temple servants, all designated by name. David and the officials had appointed them to assist the Levites.

禁食求平坦的道路

²¹那时，我在亚哈瓦河边宣告禁食，为要在我们　神面前克苦己心，求他使我们和妇人孩子，并一切所有的，都得平坦的道路。And there by the Ahava Canal I proclaimed a fast, so that we might humble ourselves before our God and ask Him for a safe journey for us and our children, with all our possessions.

²²我求王拨步兵马兵帮助我们抵挡路上的仇敌，本以为羞耻；因我曾对王说：“我们　神施恩的手必帮助一切寻求他的；但他的能力和忿怒必攻击一切离弃他的。”For I was ashamed to ask the king for an escort of soldiers and horsemen to protect us from our enemies on the road, since we had told him, “The hand of our God is gracious to all who seek Him, but His great anger is against all who forsake Him.”

²³所以我们禁食祈求我们的　神，他就应允了我们。So we fasted and petitioned our God about this, and He granted our request.

把金银器皿交给祭司看守

²⁴我分派祭司长十二人，就是示利比、哈沙比雅，和他们的弟兄十人，Then I set apart twelve of the leading priests, together with Sherebiah, Hashabiah, and ten of their brothers,

²⁵将王和谋士、军长，并在那里的以色列众人为我们　神殿所献的金银和器皿，都秤了交给他们。and I weighed out to them the contribution of silver and gold and the articles that the king, his counselors, his leaders, and all the Israelites there had offered for the house of our God.

²⁶我秤了交在他们手中的银子有六百五十他连得；银器重一百他连得；金子一百他连得；I weighed out into their hands 650 talents of silver, articles of silver weighing 100 talents, 100 talents of gold,

²⁷金碗二十个，重一千达利克；上等光铜的器皿两个，宝贵如金。20 gold bowls valued at 1,000 darics, and two articles of fine polished bronze, as precious as gold.

²⁸我对他们说：“你们归耶和华为圣，器皿也为圣；金银是甘心献给耶和华—你们列祖之　神的。Then I told them, “You are holy to the LORD, and these articles are holy. The silver and gold are a freewill offering to the LORD, the God of your fathers.

²⁹你们当警醒看守，直到你们在耶路撒冷耶和华殿的库内，在祭司长和利未族长，并以色列的各族长面前过了秤。”Guard them carefully until you weigh them out in the chambers of the house of the LORD in Jerusalem before the leading priests, Levites, and heads of the Israelite families.”

³⁰于是，祭司、利未人按着分量接受金银和器皿，要带到耶路撒冷我们　神的殿里。So the priests and Levites took charge of the silver and gold and sacred articles that had been weighed out to be taken to the house of our God in Jerusalem.

平安抵达耶路撒冷

³¹正月十二日，我们从亚哈瓦河边起行，要往耶路撒冷去。我们　神的手保佑我们，救我们脱离仇敌和路上埋伏之人的手。On the twelfth day of the first month we set out from the Ahava Canal to go to Jerusalem, and the hand of our God was upon us to protect us from the hands of the enemies and bandits along the way.

³²我们到了耶路撒冷，在那里住了三日。So we arrived at Jerusalem and rested there for three days.

³³第四日，在我们　神的殿里把金银和器皿都秤了，交在祭司乌利亚的儿子米利末的手中。同着他有非尼哈的儿子以利亚撒，还有利未人耶书亚的儿子约撒拔和宾内的儿子挪亚底。On the fourth day, in the house of our God, we weighed out the silver and gold and sacred articles into the hand of Meremoth son of Uriah, the priest. Eleazar son of Phinehas was with him, along with the Levites Jozabad son of Jeshua and Noadiah son of Binnui.

³⁴当时都点了数目，按着分量写在册上。Everything was verified by number and weight, and the total weight was recorded at that time.

³⁵从掳到之地归回的人向以色列的　神献燔祭，就是为以色列众人献公牛十二只，公绵羊九十六只，绵羊羔七十七只，又献公山羊十二只作赎罪祭，这都是向耶和华焚献的。Then the exiles who had returned from captivity sacrificed burnt offerings to the God of Israel: 12 bulls for all Israel, 96 rams, 77 lambs, and a sin offering of 12 male goats. All this was a burnt offering to the LORD.

³⁶他们将王的谕旨交给王所派的总督与河西的省长，他们就帮助百姓，又供给　神殿里所需用的。They also delivered the king’s edicts to the royal satraps and governors of the region west of the Euphrates, who proceeded to assist the people and the house of God.

保罗和巴拿巴在安提阿教导

³⁵但保罗和巴拿巴仍住在安提阿，和许多别人一同教训人，传主的道。But Paul and Barnabas remained at Antioch, along with many others, teaching and preaching the word of the Lord.

为马可起争论而分开

³⁶过了些日子，保罗对巴拿巴说：“我们可以回到从前宣传主道的各城，看望弟兄们景况如何。”Some time later Paul said to Barnabas, “Let us go back and visit the brothers in every town where we proclaimed the word of the Lord, to see how they are doing.”

³⁷巴拿巴有意要带称呼马可的约翰同去；Barnabas wanted to take John, also called Mark.

³⁸但保罗因为马可从前在旁非利亚离开他们，不和他们同去做工，就以为不可带他去。But Paul thought it best not to take him, because he had deserted them in Pamphylia and had not accompanied them in the work.

³⁹于是二人起了争论，甚至彼此分开。巴拿巴带着马可，坐船往塞浦路斯去；Their disagreement was so sharp that they parted company. Barnabas took Mark and sailed for Cyprus,

⁴⁰保罗拣选了西拉，也出去，蒙弟兄们把他交于主的恩中。but Paul chose Silas and left, commended by the brothers to the grace of the Lord.

⁴¹他就走遍叙利亚、基利家，坚固众教会。And he traveled through Syria and Cilicia, strengthening the churches.

提摩太加入

¹保罗来到特庇，又到路司得。在那里有一个门徒，名叫提摩太，是信主之犹太妇人的儿子，他父亲却是希腊人。Paul came to Derbe and then to Lystra, where he found a disciple named Timothy, the son of a believing Jewish woman and a Greek father.

²路司得和以哥念的弟兄都称赞他。The brothers in Lystra and Iconium spoke well of him.

³保罗要带他同去，只因那些地方的犹太人都知道他父亲是希腊人，就给他行了割礼。Paul wanted Timothy to accompany him, so he took him and circumcised him on account of the Jews in that area, for they all knew that his father was a Greek.

传交耶路撒冷的决定

⁴他们经过各城，把耶路撒冷使徒和长老所定的条规交给门徒遵守。As they went from town to town, they delivered the decisions handed down by the apostles and elders in Jerusalem for the people to obey.

⁵于是众教会信心越发坚固，人数天天加增。So the churches were strengthened in the faith and grew daily in numbers.

圣灵禁止，马其顿的异象

⁶圣灵既然禁止他们在亚细亚讲道，他们就经过弗吕家、加拉太一带地方。After the Holy Spirit had prevented them from speaking the word in the province of Asia, they traveled through the region of Phrygia and Galatia.

⁷到了每西亚的边界，他们想要往庇推尼去，耶稣的灵却不许。And when they came to the border of Mysia, they tried to enter Bithynia, but the Spirit of Jesus would not permit them.

⁸他们就越过每西亚，下到特罗亚去。So they passed by Mysia and went down to Troas.

⁹在夜间有异象现与保罗。有一个马其顿人站着求他说：“请你过到马其顿来帮助我们。”During the night, Paul had a vision of a man of Macedonia standing and pleading with him, “Come over to Macedonia and help us.”

¹⁰保罗既看见这异象，我们随即想要往马其顿去，以为　神召我们传福音给那里的人听。As soon as Paul had seen the vision, we got ready to leave for Macedonia, concluding that God had called us to preach the gospel to them.

来到腓立比

¹¹于是从特罗亚开船，一直行到撒摩特喇，第二天到了尼亚坡里。We sailed from Troas straight to Samothrace, and the following day on to Neapolis.

¹²从那里来到腓立比，就是马其顿这一方的头一个城，也是罗马的驻防城。我们在这城里住了几天。From there we went to the Roman colony of Philippi, the leading city of that district of Macedonia. And we stayed there several days.

吕底亚信主

¹³当安息日，我们出城门，到了河边，知道那里有一个祷告的地方，我们就坐下对那聚会的妇女讲道。On the Sabbath we went outside the city gate along the river, where it was customary to find a place of prayer. After sitting down, we spoke to the women who had gathered there.

¹⁴有一个卖紫色布疋的妇人，名叫吕底亚，是推雅推喇城的人，素来敬拜　神。她听见了，主就开导她的心，叫她留心听保罗所讲的话。Among those listening was a woman named Lydia, a dealer in purple cloth from the city of Thyatira, who was a worshiper of God. The Lord opened her heart to respond to Paul’s message.

¹⁵她和她一家既领了洗，便求我们说：“你们若以为我是真信主的（或译：你们若以为我是忠心事主的），请到我家里来住”；于是强留我们。And when she and her household had been baptized, she urged us, “If you consider me a believer in the Lord, come and stay at my house.” And she persuaded us.

赶出使女身上的巫鬼

¹⁶后来，我们往那祷告的地方去。有一个使女迎着面来，她被巫鬼所附，用法术，叫她主人们大得财利。One day as we were going to the place of prayer, we were met by a slave girl with a spirit of divination, who earned a large income for her masters by fortune-telling.

¹⁷她跟随保罗和我们，喊着说：“这些人是至高　神的仆人，对你们传说救人的道。”This girl followed Paul and the rest of us, shouting, “These men are servants of the Most High God, who are proclaiming to you the way of salvation!”

¹⁸她一连多日这样喊叫，保罗就心中厌烦，转身对那鬼说：“我奉耶稣基督的名，吩咐你从她身上出来！”那鬼当时就出来了。She continued this for many days. Eventually Paul grew so aggravated that he turned and said to the spirit, “In the name of Jesus Christ I command you to come out of her!” And the spirit left her at that very moment.
