犹大的儿子

³犹大的儿子是珥、俄南、示拉，这三人是迦南人书亚女儿所生的。犹大的长子珥在耶和华眼中看为恶，耶和华就使他死了。The sons of Judah: Er, Onan, and Shelah. These three were born to him by Bath-shua the Canaanite. Er, Judah’s firstborn, was wicked in the sight of the LORD. So the LORD put him to death.

希斯仑的后代：从兰到大卫

⁹希斯仑所生的儿子是耶拉篾、兰、基路拜。The sons who were born to Hezron: Jerahmeel, Ram, and Caleb.

¹⁰兰生亚米拿达；亚米拿达生拿顺。拿顺作犹大人的首领。Ram was the father of Amminadab, and Amminadab was the father of Nahshon, a leader of the descendants of Judah.

¹¹拿顺生撒门；撒门生波阿斯；Nahshon was the father of Salmon, and Salmon was the father of Boaz.

¹²波阿斯生俄备得；俄备得生耶西；Boaz was the father of Obed, and Obed was the father of Jesse.

¹³耶西生长子以利押，次子亚比拿达，三子示米亚（示米亚就是沙玛，见撒母耳上十六章九节），Jesse was the father of Eliab his firstborn; Abinadab was born second, Shimea third,

¹⁴四子拿坦业，五子拉代，Nethanel fourth, Raddai fifth,

¹⁵六子阿鲜，七子大卫。Ozem sixth, and David seventh.

¹⁶他们的姊妹是洗鲁雅和亚比该。洗鲁雅的儿子是亚比筛、约押、亚撒黑，共三人。Their sisters were Zeruiah and Abigail. And the three sons of Zeruiah were Abishai, Joab, and Asahel.

¹⁷亚比该生亚玛撒；亚玛撒的父亲是以实玛利人益帖。Abigail was the mother of Amasa, whose father was Jether the Ishmaelite.

迦勒的后代

¹⁸希斯仑的儿子迦勒娶阿苏巴和耶略为妻，阿苏巴的儿子是耶设、朔罢、押墩。Caleb son of Hezron had children by his wife Azubah and by Jerioth. These were the sons of Azubah: Jesher, Shobab, and Ardon.

¹⁹阿苏巴死了，迦勒又娶以法他，生了户珥。When Azubah died, Caleb married Ephrath, who bore to him Hur.

²⁰户珥生乌利；乌利生比撒列。Hur was the father of Uri, and Uri was the father of Bezalel.

希斯仑的其他后代

²¹希斯仑正六十岁娶了基列父亲玛吉的女儿，与她同房；玛吉的女儿生了西割；Later, Hezron slept with the daughter of Machir the father of Gilead. He had married her when he was sixty years old, and she bore to him Segub.

²²西割生睚珥。睚珥在基列地有二十三个城邑。Segub was the father of Jair, who had twenty-three cities in the land of Gilead.

²³后来基述人和亚兰人夺了睚珥的城邑，并基纳和其乡村，共六十个。这都是基列父亲玛吉之子的。But Geshur and Aram captured Havvoth-jair, along with Kenath and its sixty surrounding villages. All these were descendants of Machir the father of Gilead.

²⁴希斯仑在迦勒·以法他死后，他的妻亚比雅给他生了亚施户；亚施户是提哥亚的父亲。After Hezron died in Caleb-ephrathah, his wife Abijah bore to him Ashhur the father of Tekoa.

耶拉篾的后代

²⁵希斯仑的长子耶拉篾生长子兰，又生布拿、阿连、阿鲜、亚希雅。The sons of Jerahmeel the firstborn of Hezron: Ram his firstborn, Bunah, Oren, Ozem, and Ahijah.

²⁶耶拉篾又娶一妻名叫亚她拉，是阿南的母亲。Jerahmeel had another wife named Atarah, who was the mother of Onam.

²⁷耶拉篾长子兰的儿子是玛斯、雅悯、以结。The sons of Ram the firstborn of Jerahmeel: Maaz, Jamin, and Eker.

²⁸阿南的儿子是沙买、雅大。沙买的儿子是拿答、亚比述。The sons of Onam: Shammai and Jada. The sons of Shammai: Nadab and Abishur.

²⁹亚比述的妻名叫亚比孩，亚比孩给他生了亚办和摩利。Abishur’s wife was named Abihail, and she bore to him Ahban and Molid.

³⁰拿答的儿子是西列、亚遍；西列死了没有儿子。The sons of Nadab: Seled and Appaim. Seled died without children.

³¹亚遍的儿子是以示；以示的儿子是示珊；示珊的儿子是亚来。The son of Appaim: Ishi. The son of Ishi: Sheshan. The son of Sheshan: Ahlai.

³²沙买兄弟雅大的儿子是益帖、约拿单；益帖死了没有儿子。The sons of Jada the brother of Shammai: Jether and Jonathan. Jether died without children.

³³约拿单的儿子是比勒、撒萨。这都是耶拉篾的子孙。The sons of Jonathan: Peleth and Zaza. These were the descendants of Jerahmeel.

³⁴示珊没有儿子，只有女儿。示珊有一个仆人名叫耶哈，是埃及人。Sheshan had no sons, but only daughters. He also had an Egyptian servant named Jarha.

³⁵示珊将女儿给了仆人耶哈为妻，给他生了亚太。Sheshan gave his daughter in marriage to his servant Jarha, and she bore to him Attai.

³⁶亚太生拿单；拿单生撒拔；Attai was the father of Nathan, Nathan was the father of Zabad,

³⁷撒拔生以弗拉；以弗拉生俄备得；Zabad was the father of Ephlal, Ephlal was the father of Obed,

³⁸俄备得生耶户；耶户生亚撒利雅；Obed was the father of Jehu, Jehu was the father of Azariah,

³⁹亚撒利雅生希利斯；希利斯生以利亚萨；Azariah was the father of Helez, Helez was the father of Elasah,

⁴⁰以利亚萨生西斯买；西斯买生沙龙；Elasah was the father of Sismai, Sismai was the father of Shallum,

⁴¹沙龙生耶加米雅；耶加米雅生以利沙玛。Shallum was the father of Jekamiah, and Jekamiah was the father of Elishama.

迦勒的其他后代

⁴²耶拉篾兄弟迦勒的长子米沙，是西弗之祖玛利沙的儿子，是希伯仑之祖。The sons of Caleb the brother of Jerahmeel: Mesha his firstborn, who was the father of Ziph, and Mareshah his second son, who was the father of Hebron.

⁴³希伯仑的儿子是可拉、他普亚、利肯、示玛。The sons of Hebron: Korah, Tappuah, Rekem, and Shema.

⁴⁴示玛生拉含，是约干之祖。利肯生沙买。Shema was the father of Raham the father of Jorkeam, and Rekem was the father of Shammai.

⁴⁵沙买的儿子是玛云；玛云是伯·夙之祖。The son of Shammai was Maon, and Maon was the father of Beth-zur.

⁴⁶迦勒的妾以法生哈兰、摩撒、迦谢；哈兰生迦卸。Caleb’s concubine Ephah was the mother of Haran, Moza, and Gazez. Haran was the father of Gazez.

⁴⁷〈雅代的儿子是利健、约坦、基珊、毗力、以法、沙亚弗。〉The sons of Jahdai: Regem, Jotham, Geshan, Pelet, Ephah, and Shaaph.

⁴⁸迦勒的妾玛迦生示别、特哈拿，Caleb’s concubine Maacah was the mother of Sheber and Tirhanah.

⁴⁹又生麦玛拿之祖沙亚弗、抹比拿和基比亚之祖示法。迦勒的女儿是押撒。She was also the mother of Shaaph father of Madmannah, and of Sheva father of Machbenah and Gibea. Caleb’s daughter was Acsah.

⁵⁰迦勒的子孙就是以法他的长子、户珥的儿子，记在下面：基列·耶琳之祖朔巴，These were the descendants of Caleb. The sons of Hur the firstborn of Ephrathah: Shobal the father of Kiriath-jearim,

⁵²基列·耶琳之祖朔巴的子孙是哈罗以和一半米努·哈人（米努·哈人就是玛拿哈人）。These were the descendants of Shobal the father of Kiriath-jearim: Haroeh, half the Manahathites,

⁵³基列·耶琳的诸族是以帖人、布特人、舒玛人、密来人，又从这些族中生出琐拉人和以实陶人来。and the clans of Kiriath-jearim—the Ithrites, Puthites, Shumathites, and Mishraites. From these descended the Zorathites and Eshtaolites.

⁵⁴萨玛的子孙是伯利恒人、尼陀法人、亚他绿·伯·约押人、一半玛拿哈人、琐利人，The descendants of Salma: Bethlehem, the Netophathites, Atroth-beth-joab, half the Manahathites, the Zorites,

⁵⁵和住雅比斯众文士家的特拉人、示米押人、苏甲人。这都是基尼人利甲家之祖哈末所生的。and the clans of the scribes who lived at Jabez—the Tirathites, Shimeathites, and Sucathites. These are the Kenites who came from Hammath, the father of the house of Rechab.

大卫在希伯仑所生的儿子

¹大卫在希伯仑所生的儿子记在下面：长子暗嫩是耶斯列人亚希暖生的。次子但以利是迦密人亚比该生的。These were the sons of David who were born to him in Hebron: The firstborn was Amnon by Ahinoam of Jezreel; the second was Daniel by Abigail of Carmel;

²三子押沙龙是基述王达买的女儿玛迦生的。四子亚多尼雅是哈及生的。the third was Absalom the son of Maacah daughter of King Talmai of Geshur; the fourth was Adonijah the son of Haggith;

³五子示法提雅是亚比她生的。六子以特念是大卫的妻以格拉生的。the fifth was Shephatiah by Abital; and the sixth was Ithream by his wife Eglah.

犹大的其他宗族

¹犹大的儿子是法勒斯、希斯仑、迦米、户珥、朔巴。The descendants of Judah: Perez, Hezron, Carmi, Hur, and Shobal.

²朔巴的儿子利亚雅生雅哈；雅哈生亚户买和拉哈。这是琐拉人的诸族。Reaiah son of Shobal was the father of Jahath, and Jahath was the father of Ahumai and Lahad. These were the clans of the Zorathites.

³以坦之祖的儿子是耶斯列、伊施玛、伊得巴；他们的妹子名叫哈悉勒玻尼。These were the sons of Etam: Jezreel, Ishma, and Idbash. And their sister was named Hazzelelponi.

⁶拿拉给亚施户生亚户撒、希弗、提米尼、哈辖斯他利。这都是拿拉的儿子。Naarah bore to him Ahuzzam, Hepher, Temeni, and Haahashtari. These were the descendants of Naarah.

⁷希拉的儿子是洗列、琐辖、伊提南。The sons of Helah were Zereth, Zohar, Ethnan,

⁸哥斯生亚诺、琐比巴，并哈仑儿子亚哈黑的诸族。and Koz, who was the father of Anub and Zobebah and of the clans of Aharhel son of Harum.

雅比斯的祷告

⁹雅比斯比他众弟兄更尊贵，他母亲给他起名叫雅比斯，意思说：我生他甚是痛苦。Now Jabez was more honorable than his brothers. His mother had named him Jabez, saying, “Because I bore him in pain.”

¹⁰雅比斯求告以色列的　神说：“甚愿你赐福与我，扩张我的境界，常与我同在，保佑我不遭患难，不受艰苦。”　神就应允他所求的。And Jabez called out to the God of Israel, “If only You would bless me and enlarge my territory! May Your hand be with me and keep me from harm, so that I will be free from pain.” And God granted the request of Jabez.

其他宗族与匠人

¹¹书哈的弟兄基绿生米黑，米黑是伊施屯之祖。Chelub the brother of Shuhah was the father of Mehir, who was the father of Eshton.

¹²伊施屯生伯拉巴、巴西亚，并珥拿辖之祖提欣拿，这都是利迦人。Eshton was the father of Beth-rapha, of Paseah, and of Tehinnah the father of Ir-nahash. These were the men of Recah.

¹³基纳斯的儿子是俄陀聂、西莱雅。俄陀聂的儿子是哈塔。The sons of Kenaz: Othniel and Seraiah. The sons of Othniel: Hathath and Meonothai.

¹⁴悯挪太生俄弗拉；西莱雅生革·夏纳欣人之祖约押。他们都是匠人。Meonothai was the father of Ophrah, and Seraiah was the father of Joab, the father of those living in Ge-harashim, which was given this name because its people were craftsmen.

¹⁵耶孚尼的儿子是迦勒；迦勒的儿子是以路、以拉、拿安。以拉的儿子是基纳斯。The sons of Caleb son of Jephunneh: Iru, Elah, and Naam. The son of Elah: Kenaz.

¹⁶耶哈利勒的儿子是西弗、西法、提利、亚撒列。The sons of Jehallelel: Ziph, Ziphah, Tiria, and Asarel.

^17–18以斯拉的儿子是益帖、米列、以弗、雅伦。米列娶法老女儿比提雅为妻，生米利暗、沙买，和以实提摩之祖益巴。米列又娶犹大女子为妻，生基多之祖雅列，梭哥之祖希伯，和撒挪亚之祖耶古铁。The sons of Ezrah: Jether, Mered, Epher, and Jalon. And Mered’s wife Bithiah gave birth to Miriam, Shammai, and Ishbah the father of Eshtemoa. These were the children of Pharaoh’s daughter Bithiah. Mered also took a Judean wife, who gave birth to Jered the father of Gedor, Heber the father of Soco, and Jekuthiel the father of Zanoah.

¹⁹荷第雅的妻是拿含的妹子，她所生的儿子是迦米人基伊拉和玛迦人以实提摩之祖。The sons of Hodiah’s wife, the sister of Naham, were the fathers of Keilah the Garmite and of Eshtemoa the Maacathite.

²⁰示门的儿子是暗嫩、林拿、便·哈南、提伦。以示的儿子是梭黑与便·梭黑。The sons of Shimon: Amnon, Rinnah, Ben-hanan, and Tilon. The descendants of Ishi: Zoheth and Ben-zoheth.

²¹犹大的儿子是示拉；示拉的儿子是利迦之祖珥，玛利沙之祖拉大，和属亚实比族织细麻布的各家。The sons of Shelah son of Judah: Er the father of Lecah, Laadah the father of Mareshah and the clans of the linen workers at Beth-ashbea,

²²还有约敬、哥西巴人、约阿施、萨拉，就是在摩押地掌权的，又有雅叔比利恒。这都是古时所记载的。Jokim, the men of Cozeba, and Joash and Saraph, who ruled in Moab and Jashubi-lehem. (These names are from ancient records.)

²³这些人都是窑匠，是尼他应和基低拉的居民；与王同处，为王做工。These were the potters who lived at Netaim and Gederah. They lived there in the service of the king.

我查不出他有甚么罪来

³⁸彼拉多说：“真理是什么呢？”说了这话，又出来到犹太人那里，对他们说：“我查不出他有什么罪来。“What is truth?” Pilate asked. And having said this, he went out again to the Jews and told them, “I find no basis for a charge against Him.

不要这人，要巴拉巴

³⁹但你们有个规矩，在逾越节要我给你们释放一个人，你们要我给你们释放犹太人的王吗？”But it is your custom that I release to you one prisoner at the Passover. So then, do you want me to release to you the King of the Jews?”

⁴⁰他们又喊着说：“不要这人，要巴拉巴！”这巴拉巴是个强盗。“Not this man,” they shouted, “but Barabbas!” (Now Barabbas was an insurrectionist.)

鞭打和戏弄

¹当下彼拉多将耶稣鞭打了。Then Pilate took Jesus and had Him flogged.

²兵丁用荆棘编做冠冕戴在他头上，给他穿上紫袍，The soldiers twisted together a crown of thorns, set it on His head, and dressed Him in a purple robe.

³又挨近他，说：“恭喜，犹太人的王啊！”他们就用手掌打他。And they went up to Him again and again, saying, “Hail, King of the Jews!” and slapping Him in the face.

你们看这个人

⁴彼拉多又出来对众人说：“我带他出来见你们，叫你们知道我查不出他有什么罪来。”Once again Pilate came out and said to the Jews, “Look, I am bringing Him out to you to let you know that I find no basis for a charge against Him.”

⁵耶稣出来，戴着荆棘冠冕，穿着紫袍。彼拉多对他们说：“你们看这个人！”When Jesus came out wearing the crown of thorns and the purple robe, Pilate said to them, “Here is the man!”

⁶祭司长和差役看见他，就喊着说：“钉他十字架！钉他十字架！”彼拉多说：“你们自己把他钉十字架吧！我查不出他有什么罪来。”As soon as the chief priests and officers saw Him, they shouted, “Crucify Him! Crucify Him!” “You take Him and crucify Him,” Pilate replied, “for I find no basis for a charge against Him.”

⁷犹太人回答说：“我们有律法，按那律法，他是该死的，因他以自己为　神的儿子。”“We have a law,” answered the Jews, “and according to that law He must die, because He declared Himself to be the Son of God.”

彼拉多越发害怕

⁸彼拉多听见这话，越发害怕，When Pilate heard this statement, he was even more afraid,

⁹又进衙门，对耶稣说：“你是哪里来的？”耶稣却不回答。and he went back into the Praetorium. “Where are You from?” he asked. But Jesus gave no answer.

¹⁰彼拉多说：“你不对我说话吗？你岂不知我有权柄释放你，也有权柄把你钉十字架吗？”So Pilate said to Him, “Do You refuse to speak to me? Do You not know that I have authority to release You and authority to crucify You?”

¹¹耶稣回答说：“若不是从上头赐给你的，你就毫无权柄办我。所以，把我交给你的那人罪更重了。”Jesus answered, “You would have no authority over Me if it were not given to you from above. Therefore the one who handed Me over to you is guilty of greater sin.”

凯撒的忠臣

¹²从此，彼拉多想要释放耶稣，无奈犹太人喊着说：“你若释放这个人，就不是凯撒的忠臣（原文是朋友）。凡以自己为王的，就是背叛凯撒了。”From then on, Pilate tried to release Him, but the Jews kept shouting, “If you release this man, you are no friend of Caesar. Anyone who declares himself a king is defying Caesar.”

坐堂判决，交出去钉十字架

¹³彼拉多听见这话，就带耶稣出来，到了一个地方，名叫“铺华石处”，希伯来话叫厄巴大，就在那里坐堂。When Pilate heard these words, he brought Jesus out and sat on the judgment seat at a place called the Stone Pavement, which in Hebrew is Gabbatha.

¹⁴那日是预备逾越节的日子，约有午正。彼拉多对犹太人说：“看哪，这是你们的王！”It was the day of Preparation for the Passover, about the sixth hour. And Pilate said to the Jews, “Here is your King!”

¹⁵他们喊着说：“除掉他！除掉他！钉他在十字架上！”彼拉多说：“我可以把你们的王钉十字架吗？”祭司长回答说：“除了凯撒，我们没有王。”At this, they shouted, “Away with Him! Away with Him! Crucify Him!” “Shall I crucify your King?” Pilate asked. “We have no king but Caesar,” replied the chief priests.

¹⁶于是彼拉多将耶稣交给他们去钉十字架。Then Pilate handed Jesus over to be crucified, and the soldiers took Him away.
