耶罗波安仍不悔改

³³这事以后，耶罗波安仍不离开他的恶道，将凡民立为邱坛的祭司；凡愿意的，他都分别为圣，立为邱坛的祭司。Even after these events, Jeroboam did not repent of his evil ways, but again he appointed priests for the high places from every class of people. He ordained anyone who desired to be a priest of the high places.

³⁴这事叫耶罗波安的家陷在罪里，甚至他的家从地上除灭了。And this was the sin of the house of Jeroboam that led to its extermination and destruction from the face of the earth.

耶罗波安的儿子生病

¹那时，耶罗波安的儿子亚比雅病了。At that time Abijah son of Jeroboam became ill,

²耶罗波安对他的妻说：“你可以起来改装，使人不知道你是耶罗波安的妻，往示罗去，在那里有先知亚希雅。他曾告诉我说，你必作这民的王。and Jeroboam said to his wife, “Now get up, disguise yourself so they will not recognize you as my wife, and go to Shiloh. For Ahijah the prophet is there; it was he who spoke about my kingship over this people.

³现在你要带十个饼，与几个薄饼，和一瓶蜜去见他，他必告诉你儿子将要怎样。”Take with you ten loaves of bread, some cakes, and a jar of honey, and go to him. He will tell you what will become of the boy.”

⁴耶罗波安的妻就这样行，起身往示罗去，到了亚希雅的家。亚希雅因年纪老迈，眼目发直，不能看见。Jeroboam’s wife did as instructed; she arose and went to Shiloh and arrived at Ahijah’s house. Now Ahijah could not see, for his eyes were dim because of his age.

⁵耶和华先晓谕亚希雅说：“耶罗波安的妻要来问你，因她儿子病了，你当如此如此告诉她。她进来的时候必装作别的妇人。”But the LORD had said to Ahijah, “Behold, the wife of Jeroboam is coming to ask you about her son, for he is ill. You are to say such and such to her, because when she arrives, she will be disguised.”

亚希雅宣告耶罗波安家的结局

⁶她刚进门，亚希雅听见她脚步的响声，就说：“耶罗波安的妻，进来吧！你为何装作别的妇人呢？我奉差遣将凶事告诉你。So when Ahijah heard the sound of her feet entering the door, he said, “Come in, wife of Jeroboam! Why are you disguised? For I have been sent to you with bad news.

⁷你回去告诉耶罗波安说：‘耶和华—以色列的　神如此说：我从民中将你高举，立你作我民以色列的君，Go, tell Jeroboam that this is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says: ‘I raised you up from among the people and appointed you ruler over My people Israel.

⁸将国从大卫家夺回赐给你；你却不效法我仆人大卫，遵守我的诫命，一心顺从我，行我眼中看为正的事。I tore the kingdom away from the house of David and gave it to you. But you have not been like My servant David, who kept My commandments and followed Me with all his heart, doing only what was right in My eyes.

⁹你竟行恶，比那在你以先的更甚，为自己立了别神，铸了偶像，惹我发怒，将我丢在背后。You have done more evil than all who came before you. You have proceeded to make for yourself other gods and molten images to provoke Me, and you have flung Me behind your back.

¹⁰因此，我必使灾祸临到耶罗波安的家，将属耶罗波安的男丁，无论困住的、自由的都从以色列中剪除，必除尽耶罗波安的家，如人除尽粪土一般。Because of all this, behold, I am bringing disaster on the house of Jeroboam: I will cut off from Jeroboam every male, both slave and free, in Israel; I will burn up the house of Jeroboam as one burns up dung until it is gone!

¹¹凡属耶罗波安的人，死在城中的必被狗吃，死在田野的必被空中的鸟吃。这是耶和华说的。’Anyone belonging to Jeroboam who dies in the city will be eaten by dogs, and anyone who dies in the field will be eaten by the birds of the air.’ For the LORD has spoken.

¹²所以你起身回家去吧！你的脚一进城，你儿子就必死了。As for you, get up and go home. When your feet enter the city, the child will die.

¹³以色列众人必为他哀哭，将他葬埋。凡属耶罗波安的人，惟有他得入坟墓；因为在耶罗波安的家中，只有他向耶和华—以色列的　神显出善行。All Israel will mourn for him and bury him. For this is the only one belonging to Jeroboam who will receive a proper burial, because only in him has the LORD, the God of Israel, found any good in the house of Jeroboam.

¹⁴耶和华必另立一王治理以色列。到了日期，他必剪除耶罗波安的家；那日期已经到了。Moreover, the LORD will raise up for Himself a king over Israel who will cut off the house of Jeroboam. This is the day—yes, even today!

¹⁵耶和华必击打以色列人，使他们摇动，像水中的芦苇一般；又将他们从耶和华赐给他们列祖的美地上拔出来，分散在大河那边；因为他们做木偶，惹耶和华发怒。For the LORD will strike Israel as a reed is shaken in the water. He will uproot Israel from this good land that He gave their fathers, and He will scatter them beyond the Euphrates, because they have made their Asherah poles, provoking the LORD to anger.

¹⁶因耶罗波安所犯的罪，又使以色列人陷在罪里，耶和华必将以色列人交给仇敌。”So He will give Israel over on account of the sins Jeroboam has committed and has caused Israel to commit.”

孩子死了

¹⁷耶罗波安的妻起身回去，到了得撒，刚到门槛，儿子就死了。Then Jeroboam’s wife got up and departed for Tirzah, and as soon as she stepped over the threshold of the house, the boy died.

¹⁸以色列众人将他葬埋，为他哀哭，正如耶和华借他仆人先知亚希雅所说的话。And they buried him, and all Israel mourned for him, according to the word that the LORD had spoken through His servant Ahijah the prophet.

耶罗波安去世

¹⁹耶罗波安其余的事，他怎样争战，怎样作王，都写在以色列诸王记上。As for the rest of the acts of Jeroboam, how he waged war and how he reigned, they are indeed written in the Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel.

²⁰耶罗波安作王二十二年，就与他列祖同睡。他儿子拿答接续他作王。And the length of Jeroboam’s reign was twenty-two years, and he rested with his fathers, and his son Nadab reigned in his place.

犹大王罗波安，犹大人行恶

²¹所罗门的儿子罗波安作犹大王。他登基的时候年四十一岁，在耶路撒冷，就是耶和华从以色列众支派中所选择立他名的城，作王十七年。罗波安的母亲名叫拿玛，是亚扪人。Meanwhile, Rehoboam son of Solomon reigned in Judah. He was forty-one years old when he became king, and he reigned seventeen years in Jerusalem, the city the LORD had chosen from all the tribes of Israel in which to put His Name. His mother’s name was Naamah the Ammonite.

²²犹大人行耶和华眼中看为恶的事，犯罪触动他的愤恨，比他们列祖更甚。And Judah did evil in the sight of the LORD, and by the sins they committed they provoked Him to jealous anger more than all their fathers had done.

²³因为他们在各高冈上，各青翠树下筑坛，立柱像和木偶。They also built for themselves high places, sacred pillars, and Asherah poles on every high hill and under every green tree.

²⁴国中也有娈童。犹大人效法耶和华在以色列人面前所赶出的外邦人，行一切可憎恶的事。There were even male shrine prostitutes in the land. They imitated all the abominations of the nations the LORD had driven out before the Israelites.

示撒攻取耶路撒冷

²⁵罗波安王第五年，埃及王示撒上来攻取耶路撒冷，In the fifth year of Rehoboam’s reign, Shishak king of Egypt attacked Jerusalem.

²⁶夺了耶和华殿和王宫里的宝物，尽都带走，又夺去所罗门制造的金盾牌。He seized the treasures of the house of the LORD and of the royal palace. He took everything, including all the gold shields that Solomon had made.

²⁷罗波安王制造铜盾牌代替那金盾牌，交给守王宫门的护卫长看守。Then King Rehoboam made bronze shields in their place and committed them to the care of the captains of the guard on duty at the entrance to the royal palace.

²⁸王每逢进耶和华的殿，护卫兵就拿这盾牌，随后仍将盾牌送回，放在护卫房。And whenever the king entered the house of the LORD, the guards would bear the shields, and later they would return them to the guardroom.

罗波安去世

²⁹罗波安其余的事，凡他所行的，都写在犹大列王记上。As for the rest of the acts of Rehoboam, along with all that he did, are they not written in the Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Judah?

³⁰罗波安与耶罗波安时常争战。There was war between Rehoboam and Jeroboam throughout their days.

³¹罗波安与他列祖同睡，葬在大卫城他列祖的坟地里。他母亲名叫拿玛，是亚扪人。他儿子亚比央（又名亚比雅）接续他作王。And Rehoboam rested with his fathers and was buried with them in the City of David; his mother’s name was Naamah the Ammonite. And his son Abijam reigned in his place.

耶稣的弟兄不信祂

¹这事以后，耶稣在加利利游行，不愿在犹太游行，因为犹太人想要杀他。After this, Jesus traveled throughout Galilee. He did not want to travel in Judea, because the Jews there were trying to kill Him.

²当时犹太人的住棚节近了。However, the Jewish Feast of Tabernacles was near.

³耶稣的弟兄就对他说：“你离开这里上犹太去吧，叫你的门徒也看见你所行的事。So Jesus’ brothers said to Him, “Leave here and go to Judea, so that Your disciples there may see the works You are doing.

⁴人要显扬名声，没有在暗处行事的；你如果行这些事，就当将自己显明给世人看。”For no one who wants to be known publicly acts in secret. Since You are doing these things, show Yourself to the world.”

⁵因为连他的弟兄说这话，是因为不信他。For even His own brothers did not believe in Him.

⁶耶稣就对他们说：“我的时候还没有到；你们的时候常是方便的。Therefore Jesus told them, “Although your time is always at hand, My time has not yet come.

⁷世人不能恨你们，却是恨我，因为我指证他们所做的事是恶的。The world cannot hate you, but it hates Me, because I testify that its works are evil.

⁸你们上去过节吧，我现在不上去过这节，因为我的时候还没有满。”Go up to the feast on your own. I am not going up to this feast, because My time has not yet come.”

⁹耶稣说了这话，仍旧住在加利利。Having said this, Jesus remained in Galilee.

耶稣暗中上去过节

¹⁰但他弟兄上去以后，他也上去过节，不是明去，似乎是暗去的。But after His brothers had gone up to the feast, He also went—not publicly, but in secret.

¹¹正在节期，犹太人寻找耶稣，说：“他在哪里？”So the Jews were looking for Him at the feast and asking, “Where is He?”

¹²众人为他纷纷议论，有的说：“他是好人。”有的说：“不然，他是迷惑众人的。”Many in the crowds were whispering about Him. Some said, “He is a good man.” But others replied, “No, He deceives the people.”

¹³只是没有人明明地讲论他，因为怕犹太人。Yet no one would speak publicly about Him for fear of the Jews.

耶稣在殿里教训人

¹⁴到了节期，耶稣上殿里去教训人。About halfway through the feast, Jesus went up to the temple courts and began to teach.

¹⁵犹太人就希奇，说：“这个人没有学过，怎么明白书呢？”The Jews were amazed and asked, “How did this man attain such learning without having studied?”

¹⁶耶稣说：“我的教训不是我自己的，乃是那差我来者的。“My teaching is not My own,” Jesus replied. “It comes from Him who sent Me.

¹⁷人若立志遵着他的旨意行，就必晓得这教训或是出于　神，或是我凭着自己说的。If anyone desires to do His will, he will know whether My teaching is from God or whether I speak on My own.

¹⁸人凭着自己说，是求自己的荣耀；惟有求那差他来者的荣耀，这人是真的，在他心里没有不义。He who speaks on his own authority seeks his own glory, but He who seeks the glory of the One who sent Him is a man of truth; in Him there is no falsehood.

为甚么想要杀我

¹⁹摩西岂不是传律法给你们吗？你们却没有一个人守律法。为什么想要杀我呢？”Has not Moses given you the law? Yet not one of you keeps it. Why are you trying to kill Me?”

²⁰众人回答说：“你是被鬼附着了！谁想要杀你？”“You have a demon,” the crowd replied. “Who is trying to kill You?”

²¹耶稣说：“我做了一件事，你们都以为希奇。Jesus answered them, “I did one miracle, and you are all amazed.

²²摩西传割礼给你们（其实不是从摩西起的，乃是从祖先起的），因此你们也在安息日给人行割礼。But because Moses gave you circumcision, you circumcise a boy on the Sabbath (not that it is from Moses, but from the patriarchs.)

²³人若在安息日受割礼，免得违背摩西的律法，我在安息日叫一个人全然好了，你们就向我生气吗？If a boy can be circumcised on the Sabbath so that the law of Moses will not be broken, why are you angry with Me for making the whole man well on the Sabbath?

²⁴不可按外貌断定是非，总要按公平断定是非。”Stop judging by outward appearances, and start judging justly.”

这是基督吗

²⁵耶路撒冷人中有的说：“这不是他们想要杀的人吗？Then some of the people of Jerusalem began to say, “Isn’t this the man they are trying to kill?

²⁶你看他还明明地讲道，他们也不向他说什么，难道官长真知道这是基督吗？Yet here He is, speaking publicly, and they are not saying anything to Him. Have the rulers truly recognized that this is the Christ?

²⁷然而，我们知道这个人从哪里来；只是基督来的时候，没有人知道他从哪里来。”But we know where this man is from. When the Christ comes, no one will know where He is from.”

²⁸那时，耶稣在殿里教训人，大声说：“你们也知道我，也知道我从哪里来；我来并不是由于自己。但那差我来的是真的。你们不认识他，Then Jesus, still teaching in the temple courts, cried out, “You know Me, and you know where I am from. I have not come of My own accord, but He who sent Me is true. You do not know Him,

²⁹我却认识他；因为我是从他来的，他也是差了我来。”but I know Him, because I am from Him and He sent Me.”

³⁰他们就想要捉拿耶稣；只是没有人下手，因为他的时候还没有到。So they tried to seize Him, but no one laid a hand on Him, because His hour had not yet come.

³¹但众人中间有好些信他的，说：“基督来的时候，他所行的神迹岂能比这人所行的更多吗？”Many in the crowd, however, believed in Him and said, “When the Christ comes, will He perform more signs than this man?”

打发差役捉拿耶稣

³²法利赛人听见众人为耶稣这样纷纷议论，祭司长和法利赛人就打发差役去捉拿他。When the Pharisees heard the crowd whispering these things about Jesus, they and the chief priests sent officers to arrest Him.

³³于是耶稣说：“我还有不多的时候和你们同在，以后就回到差我来的那里去。So Jesus said, “I am with you only a little while longer, and then I am going to the One who sent Me.

³⁴你们要找我，却找不着；我所在的地方你们不能到。”You will look for Me, but you will not find Me; and where I am, you cannot come.”

³⁵犹太人就彼此对问说：“这人要往哪里去，叫我们找不着呢？难道他要往散住希腊中的犹太人那里去教训希腊人吗？At this, the Jews said to one another, “Where does He intend to go that we will not find Him? Will He go where the Jews are dispersed among the Greeks, and teach the Greeks?

³⁶他说：‘你们要找我，却找不着；我所在的地方，你们不能到’，这话是什么意思呢？”What does He mean by saying, ‘You will look for Me, but you will not find Me,’ and, ‘Where I am, you cannot come’?”
