雅各为众子说预言

¹雅各叫了他的儿子们来，说：“你们都来聚集，我好把你们日后必遇的事告诉你们。Then Jacob called for his sons and said, “Gather around so that I can tell you what will happen to you in the days to come:

²雅各的儿子们，你们要聚集而听，要听你们父亲以色列的话。Come together and listen, O sons of Jacob; listen to your father Israel.

流便

³流便哪，你是我的长子，是我力量强壮的时候生的，本当大有尊荣，权力超众。Reuben, you are my firstborn, my might, and the beginning of my strength, excelling in honor, excelling in power.

⁴但你放纵情欲，滚沸如水，必不得居首位；因为你上了你父亲的床，污秽了我的榻。Uncontrolled as the waters, you will no longer excel, because you went up to your father’s bed, onto my couch, and defiled it.

西缅和利未

⁵西缅和利未是弟兄；他们的刀剑是残忍的器具。Simeon and Levi are brothers; their swords are weapons of violence.

⁶我的灵啊，不要与他们同谋；我的心哪，不要与他们联络；因为他们趁怒杀害人命，任意砍断牛腿大筋。May I never enter their council; may I never join their assembly. For they kill men in their anger, and hamstring oxen on a whim.

⁷他们的怒气暴烈可咒；他们的忿恨残忍可诅。我要使他们分居在雅各家里，散住在以色列地中。Cursed be their anger, for it is strong, and their wrath, for it is cruel! I will disperse them in Jacob and scatter them in Israel.

犹大

⁸犹大啊，你弟兄们必赞美你；你手必掐住仇敌的颈项；你父亲的儿子们必向你下拜。Judah, your brothers shall praise you. Your hand shall be on the necks of your enemies; your father’s sons shall bow down to you.

⁹犹大是个小狮子；我儿啊，你抓了食便上去。你屈下身去，卧如公狮，蹲如母狮，谁敢惹你？Judah is a young lion—my son, you return from the prey. Like a lion he crouches and lies down; like a lioness, who dares to rouse him?

¹⁰圭必不离犹大，杖必不离他两脚之间，直等细罗来到，万民都必归顺。The scepter will not depart from Judah, nor the staff from between his feet, until Shiloh comes and the allegiance of the nations is his.

¹¹犹大把小驴拴在葡萄树上，把驴驹拴在美好的葡萄树上。他在葡萄酒中洗了衣服，在葡萄汁中洗了袍褂。He ties his donkey to the vine, his colt to the choicest branch. He washes his garments in wine, his robes in the blood of grapes.

¹²他的眼睛必因酒红润；他的牙齿必因奶白亮。His eyes are darker than wine, and his teeth are whiter than milk.

西布伦、以萨迦

¹³西布伦必住在海口，必成为停船的海口；他的境界必延到西顿。Zebulun shall dwell by the seashore and become a harbor for ships; his border shall extend to Sidon.

¹⁴以萨迦是个强壮的驴，卧在羊圈之中。Issachar is a strong donkey, lying down between the sheepfolds.

¹⁵他以安静为佳，以肥地为美，便低肩背重，成为服苦的仆人。He saw that his resting place was good and that his land was pleasant, so he bent his shoulder to the burden and submitted to labor as a servant.

但、迦得、亚设、拿弗他利

¹⁶但必判断他的民，作以色列支派之一。Dan shall provide justice for his people as one of the tribes of Israel.

¹⁷但必作道上的蛇，路中的虺，咬伤马蹄，使骑马的坠落于后。He will be a snake by the road, a viper in the path that bites the horse’s heels so that its rider tumbles backward.

¹⁸耶和华啊，我向来等候你的救恩。I await Your salvation, O LORD.

¹⁹迦得必被敌军追逼，他却要追逼他们的脚跟。Gad will be attacked by raiders, but he will attack their heels.

²⁰亚设之地必出肥美的粮食，且出君王的美味。Asher’s food will be rich; he shall provide royal delicacies.

²¹拿弗他利是被释放的母鹿；他出嘉美的言语。Naphtali is a doe set free that bears beautiful fawns.

约瑟

²²约瑟是多结果子的树枝，是泉旁多结果的枝子；他的枝条探出墙外。Joseph is a fruitful vine—a fruitful vine by a spring, whose branches scale the wall.

²³弓箭手将他苦害，向他射箭，逼迫他。The archers attacked him with bitterness; they aimed at him in hostility.

²⁴但他的弓仍旧坚硬；他的手健壮敏捷。这是因以色列的牧者，以色列的磐石—就是雅各的大能者。Yet he steadied his bow, and his strong arms were tempered by the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob, in the name of the Shepherd, the Rock of Israel,

²⁵你父亲的　神必帮助你；那全能者必将天上所有的福，地里所藏的福，以及生产乳养的福，都赐给你。by the God of your father who helps you, and by the Almighty who blesses you, with blessings of the heavens above, with blessings of the depths below, with blessings of the breasts and womb.

²⁶你父亲所祝的福胜过我祖先所祝的福如永世的山岭，至极的边界；这些福必降在约瑟的头上，临到那与弟兄迥别之人的顶上。The blessings of your father have surpassed the blessings of the ancient mountains and the bounty of the everlasting hills. May they rest on the head of Joseph, on the brow of the prince of his brothers.

便雅悯

²⁷便雅悯是个撕掠的狼，早晨要吃他所抓的，晚上要分他所夺的。”Benjamin is a ravenous wolf; in the morning he devours the prey, in the evening he divides the plunder.”

²⁸这一切是以色列的十二支派；这也是他们的父亲对他们所说的话，为他们所祝的福，都是按着各人的福分为他们祝福。These are the tribes of Israel, twelve in all, and this was what their father said to them. He blessed them, and he blessed each one with a suitable blessing.

雅各吩咐葬在麦比拉洞

²⁹他又嘱咐他们说：“我将要归到我列祖那里，你们要将我葬在赫人以弗仑田间的洞里，与我祖我父在一处，Then Jacob instructed them, “I am about to be gathered to my people. Bury me with my fathers in the cave in the field of Ephron the Hittite.

³⁰就是在迦南地幔利前、麦比拉田间的洞；那洞和田是亚伯拉罕向赫人以弗仑买来为业，作坟地的。The cave is in the field of Machpelah near Mamre, in the land of Canaan. This is the field Abraham purchased from Ephron the Hittite as a burial site.

³¹他们在那里葬了亚伯拉罕和他妻撒拉，又在那里葬了以撒和他的妻子利百加；我也在那里葬了利亚。There Abraham and his wife Sarah are buried, there Isaac and his wife Rebekah are buried, and there I buried Leah.

³²那块田和田间的洞原是向赫人买的。”The field and the cave that is in it were purchased from the Hittites.”

雅各去世

³³雅各嘱咐众子已毕，就把脚收在床上，气绝而死，归他列祖那里去了。When Jacob had finished instructing his sons, he pulled his feet into the bed and breathed his last, and he was gathered to his people.

埃及人为雅各哀哭

¹约瑟伏在他父亲的面上哀哭，与他亲嘴。Then Joseph fell upon his father’s face, wept over him, and kissed him.

²约瑟吩咐伺候他的医生用香料薰他父亲，医生就用香料薰了以色列。And Joseph directed the physicians in his service to embalm his father Israel. So they embalmed him,

³薰尸的常例是四十天；那四十天满了，埃及人为他哀哭了七十天。taking the forty days required to complete the embalming. And the Egyptians mourned for him seventy days.

约瑟求法老准他上去葬父

⁴为他哀哭的日子过了，约瑟对法老家中的人说：“我若在你们眼前蒙恩，请你们报告法老说：‘When the days of mourning had passed, Joseph said to Pharaoh’s court, “If I have found favor in your eyes, please tell Pharaoh that

⁵我父亲要死的时候叫我起誓说：你要将我葬在迦南地，在我为自己所掘的坟墓里。’现在求你让我上去葬我父亲，以后我必回来。”my father made me swear an oath when he said, ‘I am about to die. You must bury me in the tomb that I dug for myself in the land of Canaan.’ Now let me go and bury my father, and then return.”

⁶法老说：“你可以上去，照着你父亲叫你起的誓，将他葬埋。”Pharaoh replied, “Go up and bury your father, as he made you swear to do.”

葬雅各在迦南

⁷于是约瑟上去葬他父亲。与他一同上去的，有法老的臣仆和法老家中的长老，并埃及国的长老，Then Joseph went to bury his father, and all the servants of Pharaoh accompanied him—the elders of Pharaoh’s household and all the elders of the land of Egypt—

⁸还有约瑟的全家和他的弟兄们，并他父亲的眷属；只有他们的妇人孩子，和羊群牛群，都留在歌珊地。along with all of Joseph’s household, and his brothers, and his father’s household. Only their children and flocks and herds were left in Goshen.

⁹又有车辆马兵，和他一同上去；那一帮人甚多。Chariots and horsemen alike went up with him, and it was an exceedingly large procession.

¹⁰他们到了约旦河外、亚达的禾场，就在那里大大地号咷痛哭。约瑟为他父亲哀哭了七天。When they reached the threshing floor of Atad, which is across the Jordan, they lamented and wailed loudly, and Joseph mourned for his father seven days.

¹¹迦南的居民见亚达禾场上的哀哭，就说：“这是埃及人一场极大的哀哭。”因此那地方名叫亚伯·麦西，是在约旦河东。When the Canaanites of the land saw the mourning at the threshing floor of Atad, they said, “This is a solemn ceremony of mourning by the Egyptians.” Thus the place across the Jordan is called Abel-mizraim.

¹²雅各的儿子们就遵着他父亲所吩咐的办了，So Jacob’s sons did as he had charged them.

¹³把他搬到迦南地，葬在幔利前、麦比拉田间的洞里；那洞和田是亚伯拉罕向赫人以弗仑买来为业，作坟地的。They carried him to the land of Canaan and buried him in the cave at Machpelah in the field near Mamre, which Abraham had purchased from Ephron the Hittite as a burial site.

¹⁴约瑟葬了他父亲以后，就和众弟兄，并一切同他上去葬他父亲的人，都回埃及去了。After Joseph had buried his father, he returned to Egypt with his brothers and all who had gone with him to bury his father.

约瑟安慰哥哥们

¹⁵约瑟的哥哥们见父亲死了，就说：“或者约瑟怀恨我们，照着我们从前待他一切的恶足足地报复我们。”When Joseph’s brothers saw that their father was dead, they said, “What if Joseph bears a grudge? Then he will surely repay us for all the evil that we did to him.”

¹⁶他们就打发人去见约瑟，说：“你父亲未死以先吩咐说：‘So they sent word to Joseph, saying, “Before he died, your father commanded,

¹⁷你们要对约瑟这样说：从前你哥哥们恶待你，求你饶恕他们的过犯和罪恶。’如今求你饶恕你父亲　神之仆人的过犯。”他们对约瑟说这话，约瑟就哭了。‘This is what you are to say to Joseph: I beg you, please forgive the transgression and sin of your brothers, for they did you wrong.’ So now, Joseph, please forgive the transgression of the servants of the God of your father.” When their message came to him, Joseph wept.

¹⁸他的哥哥们又来俯伏在他面前，说：“我们是你的仆人。”His brothers also came to him, bowed down before him, and said, “We are your slaves!”

¹⁹约瑟对他们说：“不要害怕，我岂能代替　神呢？But Joseph replied, “Do not be afraid. Am I in the place of God?

²⁰从前你们的意思是要害我，但　神的意思原是好的，要保全许多人的性命，成就今日的光景。As for you, what you intended against me for evil, God intended for good, in order to accomplish a day like this—to preserve the lives of many people.

²¹现在你们不要害怕，我必养活你们和你们的妇人孩子。”于是约瑟用亲爱的话安慰他们。Therefore do not be afraid. I will provide for you and your little ones.” So Joseph reassured his brothers and spoke kindly to them.

约瑟去世

²²约瑟和他父亲的眷属都住在埃及。约瑟活了一百一十岁。Now Joseph and his father’s household remained in Egypt, and Joseph lived to the age of 110.

²³约瑟得见以法莲第三代的子孙。玛拿西的孙子、玛吉的儿子也养在约瑟的膝上。He saw Ephraim’s sons to the third generation, and indeed the sons of Machir son of Manasseh were brought up on Joseph’s knees.

²⁴约瑟对他弟兄们说：“我要死了，但　神必定看顾你们，领你们从这地上去，到他起誓所应许给亚伯拉罕、以撒、雅各之地。”Then Joseph said to his brothers, “I am about to die, but God will surely visit you and bring you up from this land to the land He promised on oath to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.”

²⁵约瑟叫以色列的子孙起誓说：“　神必定看顾你们；你们要把我的骸骨从这里搬上去。”And Joseph made the sons of Israel take an oath and said, “God will surely attend to you, and then you must carry my bones up from this place.”

²⁶约瑟死了，正一百一十岁。人用香料将他薰了，把他收殓在棺材里，停在埃及。So Joseph died at the age of 110. And they embalmed his body and placed it in a coffin in Egypt.

耶稣在山上治好许多人

²⁹耶稣离开那地方，来到靠近加利利的海边，就上山坐下。Moving on from there, Jesus went along the Sea of Galilee. Then He went up on a mountain and sat down.

³⁰有许多人到他那里，带着瘸子、瞎子、哑巴、有残疾的，和好些别的病人，都放在他脚前；他就治好了他们。Large crowds came to Him, bringing the lame, the blind, the crippled, the mute, and many others, and laid them at His feet, and He healed them.

³¹甚至众人都希奇；因为看见哑巴说话，残疾的痊愈，瘸子行走，瞎子看见，他们就归荣耀给以色列的　神。The crowd was amazed when they saw the mute speaking, the crippled restored, the lame walking, and the blind seeing. And they glorified the God of Israel.

七个饼喂饱四千人

³²耶稣叫门徒来，说：“我怜悯这众人；因为他们同我在这里已经三天，也没有吃的了。我不愿意叫他们饿着回去，恐怕在路上困乏。”Then Jesus called His disciples to Him and said, “I have compassion for this crowd, because they have already been with Me three days and have nothing to eat. I do not want to send them away hungry, or they may faint along the way.”

³³门徒说：“我们在这野地，哪里有这么多的饼叫这许多人吃饱呢？”The disciples replied, “Where in this desolate place could we find enough bread to feed such a large crowd?”

³⁴耶稣说：“你们有多少饼？”他们说：“有七个，还有几条小鱼。”“How many loaves do you have?” Jesus asked. “Seven,” they replied, “and a few small fish.”

³⁵他就吩咐众人坐在地上，And He instructed the crowd to sit down on the ground.

³⁶拿着这七个饼和几条鱼，祝谢了，擘开，递给门徒；门徒又递给众人。Taking the seven loaves and the fish, He gave thanks and broke them. Then He gave them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the people.

³⁷众人都吃，并且吃饱了，收拾剩下的零碎，装满了七个筐子。They all ate and were satisfied, and the disciples picked up seven basketfuls of broken pieces that were left over.

³⁸吃的人，除了妇女孩子，共有四千。A total of four thousand men were fed, besides women and children.

来到马加丹

³⁹耶稣叫众人散去，就上船，来到马加丹的境界。After Jesus had dismissed the crowds, He got into the boat and went to the region of Magadan.

要求从天上来的神迹

¹法利赛人和撒都该人来试探耶稣，请他从天上显个神迹给他们看。Then the Pharisees and Sadducees came and tested Jesus by asking Him to show them a sign from heaven.

²耶稣回答说：“晚上天发红，你们就说：‘天必要晴。’But He replied, “When evening comes, you say, ‘The weather will be fair, for the sky is red,’

³早晨天发红，又发黑，你们就说：‘今日必有风雨。’你们知道分辨天上的气色，倒不能分辨这时候的神迹。and in the morning, ‘Today it will be stormy, for the sky is red and overcast.’ You know how to interpret the appearance of the sky, but not the signs of the times.

⁴一个邪恶淫乱的世代求神迹，除了约拿的神迹以外，再没有神迹给他看。”耶稣就离开他们去了。A wicked and adulterous generation demands a sign, but none will be given it except the sign of Jonah.” Then He left them and went away.

防备法利赛人和撒都该人的酵

⁵门徒渡到那边去，忘了带饼。When they crossed to the other side, the disciples forgot to take bread.

⁶耶稣对他们说：“你们要谨慎，防备法利赛人和撒都该人的酵。”“Watch out!” Jesus told them. “Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees.”

⁷门徒彼此议论说：“这是因为我们没有带饼吧。”They discussed this among themselves and concluded, “It is because we did not bring any bread.”

⁸耶稣看出来，就说：“你们这小信的人，为什么因为没有饼彼此议论呢？Aware of their conversation, Jesus said, “You of little faith, why are you debating among yourselves about having no bread?

记得那两次分饼吗

⁹你们还不明白吗？不记得那五个饼分给五千人、又收拾了多少篮子的零碎吗？Do you still not understand? Do you not remember the five loaves for the five thousand, and how many basketfuls you gathered?

¹⁰也不记得那七个饼分给四千人、又收拾了多少筐子的零碎吗？Or the seven loaves for the four thousand, and how many basketfuls you gathered?

¹¹我对你们说：‘要防备法利赛人和撒都该人的酵’，这话不是指着饼说的，你们怎么不明白呢？”How do you not understand that I was not telling you about bread? But beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees.”

¹²门徒这才晓得他说的不是叫他们防备饼的酵，乃是防备法利赛人和撒都该人的教训。Then they understood that He was not telling them to beware of the leaven used in bread, but of the teaching of the Pharisees and Sadducees.
