神赐福挪亚

¹神赐福给挪亚和他的儿子，对他们说：“你们要生养众多，遍满了地。And God blessed Noah and his sons and said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth.

²凡地上的走兽和空中的飞鸟都必惊恐，惧怕你们，连地上一切的昆虫并海里一切的鱼都交付你们的手。The fear and dread of you will fall on every living creature on the earth, every bird of the air, every creature that crawls on the ground, and all the fish of the sea. They are delivered into your hand.

³凡活着的动物都可以作你们的食物。这一切我都赐给你们，如同菜蔬一样。Everything that lives and moves will be food for you; just as I gave you the green plants, I now give you all things.

⁴惟独肉带着血，那就是它的生命，你们不可吃。But you must not eat meat with its lifeblood still in it.

⁵流你们血、害你们命的，无论是兽是人，我必讨他的罪，就是向各人的弟兄也是如此。And surely I will require the life of any man or beast by whose hand your lifeblood is shed. I will demand an accounting from anyone who takes the life of his fellow man:

⁶凡流人血的，他的血也必被人所流，因为　神造人是照自己的形象造的。Whoever sheds the blood of man, by man his blood will be shed; for in His own image God has made mankind.

⁷你们要生养众多，在地上昌盛繁茂。”But as for you, be fruitful and multiply; spread out across the earth and multiply upon it.”

以虹为记号的约

⁸神晓谕挪亚和他的儿子说：Then God said to Noah and his sons with him,

⁹“我与你们和你们的后裔立约，“Behold, I now establish My covenant with you and your descendants after you,

¹⁰并与你们这里的一切活物—就是飞鸟、牲畜、走兽，凡从方舟里出来的活物—立约。and with every living creature that was with you—the birds, the livestock, and every beast of the earth—every living thing that came out of the ark.

¹¹我与你们立约，凡有血肉的，不再被洪水灭绝，也不再有洪水毁坏地了。”And I establish My covenant with you: Never again will all life be cut off by the waters of a flood; never again will there be a flood to destroy the earth.”

¹²神说：“我与你们并你们这里的各样活物所立的永约是有记号的。And God said, “This is the sign of the covenant I am making between Me and you and every living creature with you, a covenant for all generations to come:

¹³我把虹放在云彩中，这就可作我与地立约的记号了。I have set My rainbow in the clouds, and it will be a sign of the covenant between Me and the earth.

¹⁴我使云彩盖地的时候，必有虹现在云彩中，Whenever I form clouds over the earth and the rainbow appears in the clouds,

¹⁵我便记念我与你们和各样有血肉的活物所立的约，水就再不泛滥、毁坏一切有血肉的物了。I will remember My covenant between Me and you and every living creature of every kind. Never again will the waters become a flood to destroy all life.

¹⁶虹必现在云彩中，我看见，就要记念我与地上各样有血肉的活物所立的永约。”And whenever the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of every kind that is on the earth.”

¹⁷神对挪亚说：“这就是我与地上一切有血肉之物立约的记号了。”So God said to Noah, “This is the sign of the covenant that I have established between Me and every creature on the earth.”

挪亚的三个儿子

¹⁸出方舟挪亚的儿子就是闪、含、雅弗。含是迦南的父亲。The sons of Noah who came out of the ark were Shem, Ham, and Japheth. And Ham was the father of Canaan.

¹⁹这是挪亚的三个儿子，他们的后裔分散在全地。These three were the sons of Noah, and from them the whole earth was populated.

挪亚醉酒

²⁰挪亚作起农夫来，栽了一个葡萄园。Now Noah, a man of the soil, proceeded to plant a vineyard.

²¹他喝了园中的酒便醉了，在帐棚里赤着身子。But when he drank some of its wine, he became drunk and uncovered himself inside his tent.

²²迦南的父亲含看见他父亲赤身，就到外边告诉他两个弟兄。And Ham, the father of Canaan, saw his father’s nakedness and told his two brothers outside.

²³于是闪和雅弗拿件衣服搭在肩上，倒退着进去，给他父亲盖上；他们背着脸就看不见父亲的赤身。Then Shem and Japheth took a garment and placed it across their shoulders, and walking backward, they covered their father’s nakedness. Their faces were turned away so that they did not see their father’s nakedness.

挪亚的咒诅与祝福

²⁴挪亚醒了酒，知道小儿子向他所做的事，When Noah awoke from his drunkenness and learned what his youngest son had done to him,

²⁵就说：迦南当受咒诅，必给他弟兄作奴仆的奴仆；he said, “Cursed be Canaan! A servant of servants shall he be to his brothers.”

²⁶又说：耶和华—闪的　神是应当称颂的！愿迦南作闪的奴仆。He also declared: “Blessed be the LORD, the God of Shem! May Canaan be the servant of Shem.

²⁷愿　神使雅弗扩张，使他住在闪的帐棚里；又愿迦南作他的奴仆。May God expand the territory of Japheth; may he dwell in the tents of Shem, and may Canaan be his servant.”

²⁸洪水以后，挪亚又活了三百五十年。After the flood, Noah lived 350 years.

²⁹挪亚共活了九百五十岁就死了。So Noah lived a total of 950 years, and then he died.

挪亚三个儿子的后代

¹挪亚的儿子闪、含、雅弗的后代记在下面。洪水以后，他们都生了儿子。This is the account of Noah’s sons Shem, Ham, and Japheth, who also had sons after the flood.

雅弗的后代

²雅弗的儿子是歌篾、玛各、玛代、雅完、土巴、米设、提拉。The sons of Japheth: Gomer, Magog, Madai, Javan, Tubal, Meshech, and Tiras.

³歌篾的儿子是亚实基拿、利法、陀迦玛。The sons of Gomer: Ashkenaz, Riphath, and Togarmah.

⁴雅完的儿子是以利沙、他施、基提、多单。And the sons of Javan: Elishah, Tarshish, the Kittites, and the Rodanites.

⁵这些人的后裔将各国的地土、海岛分开居住，各随各的方言、宗族立国。From these, the maritime peoples separated into their territories, according to their languages, by clans within their nations.

含的后代

⁶含的儿子是古实、麦西、弗、迦南。The sons of Ham: Cush, Mizraim, Put, and Canaan.

⁷古实的儿子是西巴、哈腓拉、撒弗他、拉玛、撒弗提迦。拉玛的儿子是示巴、底但。The sons of Cush: Seba, Havilah, Sabtah, Raamah, and Sabteca. And the sons of Raamah: Sheba and Dedan.

⁸古实又生宁录，他为世上英雄之首。Cush was the father of Nimrod, who began to be a mighty one on the earth.

⁹他在耶和华面前是个英勇的猎户，所以俗语说：“像宁录在耶和华面前是个英勇的猎户。”He was a mighty hunter before the LORD; so it is said, “Like Nimrod, a mighty hunter before the LORD.”

¹⁰他国的起头是巴别、以力、亚甲、甲尼，都在示拿地。His kingdom began in Babylon, Erech, Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar.

¹¹他从那地出来往亚述去，建造尼尼微、利河伯、迦拉，From that land he went forth into Assyria, where he built Nineveh, Rehoboth-Ir, Calah,

¹²和尼尼微、迦拉中间的利鲜，这就是那大城。and Resen, which is between Nineveh and the great city of Calah.

¹³麦西生路低人、亚拿米人、利哈比人、拿弗土希人、Mizraim was the father of the Ludites, the Anamites, the Lehabites, the Naphtuhites,

¹⁴帕斯鲁细人、迦斯路希人、迦斐托人；从迦斐托出来的有非利士人。the Pathrusites, the Casluhites (from whom the Philistines came), and the Caphtorites.

¹⁵迦南生长子西顿，又生赫And Canaan was the father of Sidon his firstborn, and of the Hittites,

¹⁶和耶布斯人、亚摩利人、革迦撒人、the Jebusites, the Amorites, the Girgashites,

¹⁷希未人、亚基人、西尼人、the Hivites, the Arkites, the Sinites,

¹⁸亚瓦底人、洗玛利人、哈马人，后来迦南的诸族分散了。the Arvadites, the Zemarites, and the Hamathites. Later the Canaanite clans were scattered,

¹⁹迦南的境界是从西顿向基拉耳的路上，直到迦萨，又向所多玛、蛾摩拉、押玛、洗扁的路上，直到拉沙。and the borders of Canaan extended from Sidon toward Gerar as far as Gaza, and then toward Sodom, Gomorrah, Admah, and Zeboiim, as far as Lasha.

²⁰这就是含的后裔，各随他们的宗族、方言，所住的地土、邦国。These are the sons of Ham according to their clans, languages, lands, and nations.

闪的后代

²¹雅弗的哥哥闪，是希伯子孙之祖，他也生了儿子。And sons were also born to Shem, the older brother of Japheth; Shem was the forefather of all the sons of Eber.

²²闪的儿子是以拦、亚述、亚法撒、路德、亚兰。The sons of Shem: Elam, Asshur, Arphaxad, Lud, and Aram.

²³亚兰的儿子是乌斯、户勒、基帖、玛施。The sons of Aram: Uz, Hul, Gether, and Mash.

²⁴亚法撒生沙拉；沙拉生希伯。Arphaxad was the father of Shelah, and Shelah was the father of Eber.

²⁵希伯生了两个儿子，一个名叫法勒（就是分的意思），因为那时人就分地居住；法勒的兄弟名叫约坍。Two sons were born to Eber: One was named Peleg, because in his days the earth was divided, and his brother was named Joktan.

²⁶约坍生亚摩答、沙列、哈萨玛非、耶拉、And Joktan was the father of Almodad, Sheleph, Hazarmaveth, Jerah,

²⁷哈多兰、乌萨、德拉、Hadoram, Uzal, Diklah,

²⁸俄巴路、亚比玛利、示巴、Obal, Abimael, Sheba,

²⁹阿斐、哈腓拉、约巴，这都是约坍的儿子。Ophir, Havilah, and Jobab. All these were sons of Joktan.

³⁰他们所住的地方是从米沙直到西发东边的山。Their territory extended from Mesha to Sephar, in the eastern hill country.

³¹这就是闪的子孙，各随他们的宗族、方言，所住的地土、邦国。These are the sons of Shem, according to their clans, languages, lands, and nations.

³²这些都是挪亚三个儿子的宗族，各随他们的支派立国。洪水以后，他们在地上分为邦国。All these are the clans of Noah’s sons, according to their generations and nations. From these the nations of the earth spread out after the flood.

建造巴别塔

¹那时，天下人的口音、言语都是一样。Now the whole world had one language and a common form of speech.

²他们往东边迁移的时候，在示拿地遇见一片平原，就住在那里。And as people journeyed eastward, they found a plain in the land of Shinar and settled there.

³他们彼此商量说：“来吧！我们要做砖，把砖烧透了。”他们就拿砖当石头，又拿石漆当灰泥。And they said to one another, “Come, let us make bricks and bake them thoroughly.” So they used brick instead of stone, and tar instead of mortar.

⁴他们说：“来吧！我们要建造一座城和一座塔，塔顶通天，为要传扬我们的名，免得我们分散在全地上。”“Come,” they said, “let us build for ourselves a city with a tower that reaches to the heavens, that we may make a name for ourselves and not be scattered over the face of all the earth.”

神变乱天下人的言语

⁵耶和华降临，要看看世人所建造的城和塔。Then the LORD came down to see the city and the tower that the sons of men were building.

⁶耶和华说：“看哪，他们成为一样的人民，都是一样的言语，如今既做起这事来，以后他们所要做的事就没有不成就的了。And the LORD said, “If they have begun to do this as one people speaking the same language, then nothing they devise will be beyond them.

⁷我们下去，在那里变乱他们的口音，使他们的言语彼此不通。”Come, let Us go down and confuse their language, so that they will not understand one another’s speech.”

⁸于是耶和华使他们从那里分散在全地上；他们就停工，不造那城了。So the LORD scattered them from there over the face of all the earth, and they stopped building the city.

⁹因为耶和华在那里变乱天下人的言语，使众人分散在全地上，所以那城名叫巴别。That is why it is called Babel, for there the LORD confused the language of the whole world, and from that place the LORD scattered them over the face of all the earth.

在旷野受试探

¹当时，耶稣被圣灵引到旷野，受魔鬼的试探。Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil.

²他禁食四十昼夜，后来就饿了。After fasting forty days and forty nights, He was hungry.

叫石头变成食物

³那试探人的进前来，对他说：“你若是　神的儿子，可以吩咐这些石头变成食物。”The tempter came to Him and said, “If You are the Son of God, tell these stones to become bread.”

⁴耶稣却回答说：“经上记着说：人活着，不是单靠食物，乃是靠　神口里所出的一切话。”But Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.’”

从殿顶跳下去

⁵魔鬼就带他进了圣城，叫他站在殿顶（顶：原文是翅）上，Then the devil took Him to the holy city and set Him on the pinnacle of the temple.

⁶对他说：“你若是　神的儿子，可以跳下去，因为经上记着说：主要为你吩咐他的使者用手托着你，免得你的脚碰在石头上。”“If You are the Son of God,” he said, “throw Yourself down. For it is written: ‘He will command His angels concerning You, and they will lift You up in their hands, so that You will not strike Your foot against a stone.’”

万国的荣华

⁸魔鬼又带他上了一座最高的山，将世上的万国与万国的荣华都指给他看，Again, the devil took Him to a very high mountain and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory.

⁹对他说：“你若俯伏拜我，我就把这一切都赐给你。”“All this I will give You,” he said, “if You will fall down and worship me.”

¹⁰耶稣说：“撒但（就是抵挡的意思，乃魔鬼的别名），退去吧！因为经上记着说：当拜主—你的　神，单要事奉他。”“Away from Me, Satan!” Jesus told him. “For it is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God and serve Him only.’”

¹¹于是，魔鬼离了耶稣，有天使来伺候他。Then the devil left Him, and angels came and ministered to Him.

在加利利开始传道

¹²耶稣听见约翰下了监，就退到加利利去；When Jesus heard that John had been imprisoned, He withdrew to Galilee.

¹³后又离开拿撒勒，往迦百农去，就住在那里。那地方靠海，在西布伦和拿弗他利的边界上。Leaving Nazareth, He went and lived in Capernaum, which is by the sea in the region of Zebulun and Naphtali,

¹⁴这是要应验先知以赛亚的话，to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet Isaiah:

¹⁵说：西布伦地，拿弗他利地，就是沿海的路，约旦河外，外邦人的加利利地—“Land of Zebulun and land of Naphtali, the Way of the Sea, beyond the Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles—

¹⁶那坐在黑暗里的百姓看见了大光；坐在死荫之地的人有光发现照着他们。the people living in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of the shadow of death, a light has dawned.”

呼召四个打鱼的人

¹⁸耶稣在加利利海边行走，看见弟兄二人，就是那称呼彼得的西门和他兄弟安得烈，在海里撒网；他们本是打鱼的。As Jesus was walking beside the Sea of Galilee, He saw two brothers, Simon called Peter and his brother Andrew. They were casting a net into the sea, for they were fishermen.

¹⁹耶稣对他们说：“来跟从我，我要叫你们得人如得鱼一样。”“Come, follow Me,” Jesus said, “and I will make you fishers of men.”

²⁰他们就立刻舍了网，跟从了他。And at once they left their nets and followed Him.

²¹从那里往前走，又看见弟兄二人，就是西庇太的儿子雅各和他兄弟约翰，同他们的父亲西庇太在船上补网，耶稣就招呼他们，Going on from there, He saw two other brothers, James son of Zebedee and his brother John. They were in a boat with their father Zebedee, mending their nets. Jesus called them,

²²他们立刻舍了船，别了父亲，跟从了耶稣。and immediately they left the boat and their father and followed Him.

走遍加利利传道医病

²³耶稣走遍加利利，在各会堂里教训人，传天国的福音，医治百姓各样的病症。Jesus went throughout Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every disease and sickness among the people.

²⁴他的名声就传遍了叙利亚。那里的人把一切害病的，就是害各样疾病、各样疼痛的和被鬼附的、癫痫的、瘫痪的，都带了来，耶稣就治好了他们。News about Him spread all over Syria, and people brought to Him all who were ill with various diseases, those suffering acute pain, the demon-possessed, those having seizures, and the paralyzed, and He healed them.

²⁵当下，有许多人从加利利、低加坡里、耶路撒冷、犹太、约旦河外来跟着他。Large crowds followed Him, having come from Galilee, the Decapolis, Jerusalem, Judea, and beyond the Jordan.
