耶和华必除灭万类

¹当犹大王亚们的儿子约西亚在位的时候，耶和华的话临到希西家的玄孙，亚玛利雅的曾孙，基大利的孙子，古示的儿子西番雅。This is the word of the LORD that came to Zephaniah son of Cushi, the son of Gedaliah, the son of Amariah, the son of Hezekiah, in the days of Josiah son of Amon king of Judah:

²耶和华说：我必从地上除灭万类。“I will completely sweep away everything from the face of the earth,” declares the LORD.

³我必除灭人和牲畜，与空中的鸟、海里的鱼，以及绊脚石和恶人；我必将人从地上剪除。这是耶和华说的。“I will sweep away man and beast; I will sweep away the birds of the air, and the fish of the sea, and the idols with their wicked worshipers. I will cut off mankind from the face of the earth,” declares the LORD.

攻击拜巴力和万象的人

⁴我必伸手攻击犹大和耶路撒冷的一切居民，也必从这地方剪除所剩下的巴力，并基玛林的名和祭司，“I will stretch out My hand against Judah and against all who dwell in Jerusalem. I will cut off from this place every remnant of Baal, the names of the idolatrous and pagan priests—

⁵与那些在房顶上敬拜天上万象的，并那些敬拜耶和华指着他起誓，又指着玛勒堪起誓的，those who bow on the rooftops to worship the host of heaven, those who bow down and swear by the LORD but also swear by Milcom,

⁶与那些转去不跟从耶和华的，和不寻求耶和华也不访问他的。and those who turn back from following the LORD, neither seeking the LORD nor inquiring of Him.”

耶和华的日子快到

⁷你要在主耶和华面前静默无声，因为耶和华的日子快到。耶和华已经预备祭物，将他的客分别为圣。Be silent in the presence of the Lord GOD, for the Day of the LORD is near. Indeed, the LORD has prepared a sacrifice; He has consecrated His guests.

⁸到了我—耶和华献祭的日子，必惩罚首领和王子，并一切穿外邦衣服的。“On the Day of the LORD’s sacrifice I will punish the princes, the sons of the king, and all who are dressed in foreign apparel.

⁹到那日，我必惩罚一切跳过门槛、将强暴和诡诈得来之物充满主人房屋的。On that day I will punish all who leap over the threshold, who fill the house of their master with violence and deceit.

¹⁰耶和华说：当那日，从鱼门必发出悲哀的声音，从二城发出哀号的声音，从山间发出大破裂的响声。On that day,” declares the LORD, “a cry will go up from the Fish Gate, a wail from the Second District, and a loud crashing from the hills.

¹¹玛革提施的居民哪，你们要哀号，因为迦南的商民都灭亡了！凡搬运银子的都被剪除。Wail, O dwellers of the Hollow, for all your merchants will be silenced; all who weigh out silver will be cut off.

用灯巡查耶路撒冷

¹²那时，我必用灯巡查耶路撒冷；我必惩罚那些如酒在渣滓上澄清的；他们心里说：耶和华必不降福，也不降祸。And at that time I will search Jerusalem with lamps and punish the men settled in complacency, who say to themselves, ‘The LORD will do nothing, either good or bad.’

¹³他们的财宝必成为掠物；他们的房屋必变为荒场。他们必建造房屋，却不得住在其内；栽种葡萄园，却不得喝所出的酒。Their wealth will be plundered and their houses laid waste. They will build houses but not inhabit them, and plant vineyards but never drink their wine.

耶和华的大日临近

¹⁴耶和华的大日临近，临近而且甚快，乃是耶和华日子的风声；勇士必痛痛地哭号。The great Day of the LORD is near—near and coming quickly. Listen, the Day of the LORD! Then the cry of the mighty will be bitter.

¹⁵那日是忿怒的日子，是急难困苦的日子，是荒废凄凉的日子，是黑暗幽冥、密云乌黑的日子，That day will be a day of wrath, a day of trouble and distress, a day of destruction and desolation, a day of darkness and gloom, a day of clouds and blackness,

¹⁶是吹角呐喊的日子，要攻击坚固城和高大的城楼。a day of horn blast and battle cry against the fortified cities, and against the high corner towers.

¹⁷我必使灾祸临到人身上，使他们行走如同瞎眼的，因为得罪了我。他们的血必倒出如灰尘；他们的肉必抛弃如粪土。I will bring such distress on mankind that they will walk like the blind, because they have sinned against the LORD. Their blood will be poured out like dust and their flesh like dung.

¹⁸当耶和华发怒的日子，他们的金银不能救他们；他的忿怒如火必烧灭全地，毁灭这地的一切居民，而且大大毁灭。Neither their silver nor their gold will be able to deliver them on the Day of the LORD’s wrath. The whole earth will be consumed by the fire of His jealousy.” For indeed, He will make a sudden end of all who dwell on the earth.

趁日子未到，应当聚集

^1–2不知羞耻的国民哪，你们应当聚集！趁命令没有发出，日子过去如风前的糠，耶和华的烈怒未临到你们，他发怒的日子未到以先，你们应当聚集前来。Gather yourselves, gather together, O shameful nation, before the decree takes effect and the day passes like chaff, before the burning anger of the LORD comes upon you, before the Day of the LORD’s anger comes upon you.

谦卑人当寻求耶和华

³世上遵守耶和华典章的谦卑人哪，你们都当寻求耶和华！当寻求公义谦卑，或者在耶和华发怒的日子可以隐藏起来。Seek the LORD, all you humble of the earth who carry out His justice. Seek righteousness; seek humility. Perhaps you will be sheltered on the day of the LORD’s anger.

审判非利士

⁴迦萨必致见弃；亚实基伦必然荒凉。人在正午必赶出亚实突的民；以革伦也被拔出根来。For Gaza will be abandoned, and Ashkelon left in ruins. Ashdod will be driven out at noon, and Ekron will be uprooted.

⁵住沿海之地的基利提族有祸了！迦南、非利士人之地啊，耶和华的话与你反对，说：我必毁灭你，以致无人居住。Woe to the dwellers of the seacoast, O nation of the Cherethites! The word of the LORD is against you, O Canaan, land of the Philistines: “I will destroy you, and no one will be left.”

⁶沿海之地要变为草场，其上有牧人的住处和羊群的圈。So the seacoast will become a land of pastures, with wells for shepherds and folds for sheep.

⁷这地必为犹大家剩下的人所得；他们必在那里牧放群羊，晚上必躺卧在亚实基伦的房屋中；因为耶和华—他们的　神必眷顾他们，使他们被掳的人归回。The coast will belong to the remnant of the house of Judah; there they will find pasture. They will lie down in the evening among the houses of Ashkelon, for the LORD their God will attend to them and restore their captives.

审判摩押和亚扪

⁸我听见摩押人的毁谤和亚扪人的辱骂，就是毁谤我的百姓，自夸自大，侵犯他们的境界。“I have heard the reproach of Moab and the insults of the Ammonites, who have taunted My people and threatened their borders.

⁹万军之耶和华—以色列的　神说：我指着我的永生起誓：摩押必像所多玛，亚扪人必像蛾摩拉，都变为刺草、盐坑、永远荒废之地。我百姓所剩下的必掳掠他们；我国中所余剩的必得着他们的地。Therefore, as surely as I live,” declares the LORD of Hosts, the God of Israel, “surely Moab will be like Sodom and the Ammonites like Gomorrah—a place of weeds and salt pits, a perpetual wasteland. The remnant of My people will plunder them; the remainder of My nation will dispossess them.”

¹⁰这事临到他们是因他们骄傲，自夸自大，毁谤万军之耶和华的百姓。This they shall have in return for their pride, for taunting and mocking the people of the LORD of Hosts.

¹¹耶和华必向他们显可畏之威，因他必叫世上的诸神瘦弱。列国海岛的居民各在自己的地方敬拜他。The LORD will be terrifying to them when He starves all the gods of the earth. Then the nations of every shore will bow in worship to Him, each in its own place.

审判古实和亚述

¹²古实人哪，你们必被我的刀所杀。“You too, O Cushites, will be slain by My sword.”

¹³耶和华必伸手攻击北方，毁灭亚述，使尼尼微荒凉，又干旱如旷野。And He will stretch out His hand against the north and destroy Assyria; He will make Nineveh a desolation, as dry as a desert.

¹⁴群畜，就是各国（国：或译类）的走兽必卧在其中；鹈鹕和箭猪要宿在柱顶上。在窗户内有鸣叫的声音；门槛都必毁坏，香柏木已经露出。Herds will lie down in her midst, creatures of every kind. Both the desert owl and screech owl will roost atop her pillars. Their calls will sound from the window, but desolation will lie on the threshold, for He will expose the beams of cedar.

¹⁵这是素来欢乐安然居住的城，心里说：惟有我，除我以外再没有别的；现在何竟荒凉成为野兽躺卧之处！凡经过的人都必摇手嗤笑她。This carefree city that dwells securely, that thinks to herself: “I am it, and there is none besides me,” what a ruin she has become, a resting place for beasts. Everyone who passes by her hisses and shakes his fist.

悖逆污秽的城有祸了

¹这悖逆、污秽、欺压的城有祸了！Woe to the city of oppressors, rebellious and defiled!

²她不听从命令，不领受训诲，不倚靠耶和华，不亲近她的　神。She heeded no voice; she accepted no correction. She does not trust in the LORD; she has not drawn near to her God.

³她中间的首领是咆哮的狮子；她的审判官是晚上的豺狼，一点食物也不留到早晨。Her princes are roaring lions; her judges are evening wolves, leaving nothing for the morning.

⁴她的先知是虚浮诡诈的人；她的祭司亵渎圣所，强解律法。Her prophets are reckless, faithless men. Her priests profane the sanctuary; they do violence to the law.

⁵耶和华在她中间是公义的，断不做非义的事，每早晨显明他的公义，无日不然；只是不义的人不知羞耻。The LORD within her is righteous; He does no wrong. He applies His justice morning by morning; He does not fail at dawn, yet the unjust know no shame.

⁶我—耶和华已经除灭列国的民；他们的城楼毁坏。我使他们的街道荒凉，以致无人经过；他们的城邑毁灭，以致无人，也无居民。“I have cut off the nations; their corner towers are destroyed. I have made their streets deserted with no one to pass through. Their cities are laid waste, with no man, no inhabitant.

⁷我说：你只要敬畏我，领受训诲；如此，你的住处不致照我所拟定的除灭。只是你们从早起来就在一切事上败坏自己。I said, ‘Surely you will fear Me and accept correction.’ Then her dwelling place would not be cut off despite all for which I punished her. But they rose early to corrupt all their deeds.

⁸耶和华说：你们要等候我，直到我兴起掳掠的日子；因为我已定意招聚列国，聚集列邦，将我的恼怒—就是我的烈怒都倾在她们身上。我的忿怒如火，必烧灭全地。Therefore wait for Me,” declares the LORD, “until the day I rise to testify. For My decision is to gather nations, to assemble kingdoms, to pour out upon them My indignation—all My burning anger. For all the earth will be consumed by the fire of My jealousy.

万民用清洁的言语事奉

⁹那时，我必使万民用清洁的言语好求告我—耶和华的名，同心合意地事奉我。For then I will restore pure lips to the peoples, that all may call upon the name of the LORD and serve Him shoulder to shoulder.

¹⁰祈祷我的，就是我所分散的民（原文是女子；下同），必从古实河外来，给我献供物。From beyond the rivers of Cush My worshipers, My scattered people, will bring Me an offering.

¹¹当那日，你必不因你一切得罪我的事自觉羞愧；因为那时我必从你中间除掉矜夸高傲之辈，你也不再于我的圣山狂傲。On that day you will not be put to shame for any of the deeds by which you have transgressed against Me. For then I will remove from among you those who rejoice in their pride, and you will never again be haughty on My holy mountain.

¹²我却要在你中间留下困苦贫寒的民；他们必投靠我—耶和华的名。But I will leave within you a meek and humble people, and they will trust in the name of the LORD.

¹³以色列所剩下的人必不作罪孽，不说谎言，口中也没有诡诈的舌头；而且吃喝躺卧，无人惊吓。The remnant of Israel will no longer do wrong or speak lies, nor will a deceitful tongue be found in their mouths. But they will feed and lie down, with no one to make them tremble.”

锡安应当歌唱

¹⁴锡安的民哪，应当歌唱！以色列啊，应当欢呼！耶路撒冷的民哪，应当满心欢喜快乐！Sing for joy, O Daughter of Zion; shout aloud, O Israel! Be glad and rejoice with all your heart, O Daughter of Jerusalem!

¹⁵耶和华已经除去你的刑罚，赶出你的仇敌。以色列的王—耶和华在你中间；你必不再惧怕灾祸。The LORD has taken away your punishment; He has turned back your enemy. Israel’s King, the LORD, is among you; no longer will you fear any harm.

¹⁶当那日，必有话向耶路撒冷说：不要惧怕！锡安哪；不要手软！On that day they will say to Jerusalem: “Do not fear, O Zion; do not let your hands fall limp.

¹⁷耶和华—你的　神是施行拯救、大有能力的主。他在你中间必因你欢欣喜乐，默然爱你，且因你喜乐而欢呼。The LORD your God is among you; He is mighty to save. He will rejoice over you with gladness; He will quiet you with His love; He will rejoice over you with singing.”

¹⁸那些属你、为无大会愁烦、因你担当羞辱的，我必聚集他们。“I will gather those among you who grieve over the appointed feasts, so that you will no longer suffer reproach.

¹⁹那时，我必罚办一切苦待你的人，又拯救你瘸腿的，聚集你被赶出的。那些在全地受羞辱的，我必使他们得称赞，有名声。Behold, at that time, I will deal with all who afflict you. I will save the lame and gather the scattered; and I will appoint praise and fame for the disgraced throughout the earth.

²⁰那时，我必领你们进来，聚集你们；我使你们被掳之人归回的时候，就必使你们在地上的万民中有名声，得称赞。这是耶和华说的。At that time I will bring you in; yes, at that time I will gather you. For I will give you fame and praise among all the peoples of the earth when I restore your captives before your very eyes,” says the LORD.

坐在众水上的大淫妇

¹拿着七碗的七位天使中，有一位前来对我说：“你到这里来，我将坐在众水上的大淫妇所要受的刑罚指给你看。Then one of the seven angels with the seven bowls came and said to me, “Come, I will show you the punishment of the great prostitute, who sits on many waters.

²地上的君王与她行淫，住在地上的人喝醉了她淫乱的酒。”The kings of the earth were immoral with her, and those who dwell on the earth were intoxicated with the wine of her immorality.”

骑在朱红色兽上的女人

³我被圣灵感动，天使带我到旷野去，我就看见一个女人骑在朱红色的兽上；那兽有七头十角，遍体有亵渎的名号。And the angel carried me away in the Spirit into a wilderness, where I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast that was covered with blasphemous names and had seven heads and ten horns.

⁴那女人穿着紫色和朱红色的衣服，用金子、宝石、珍珠为妆饰；手拿金杯，杯中盛满了可憎之物，就是她淫乱的污秽。The woman was dressed in purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls. She held in her hand a golden cup full of abominations and the impurities of her sexual immorality.

额上的名：大巴比伦

⁵在她额上有名写着说：“奥秘哉！大巴比伦，作世上的淫妇和一切可憎之物的母。”And on her forehead a mysterious name was written: BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF PROSTITUTES AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.

⁶我又看见那女人喝醉了圣徒的血和为耶稣作见证之人的血。我看见她，就大大地希奇。I could see that the woman was drunk with the blood of the saints and witnesses for Jesus. And I was utterly amazed at the sight of her.

女人和兽的奥秘

⁷天使对我说：“你为什么希奇呢？我要将这女人和驮着她的那七头十角兽的奥秘告诉你。“Why are you so amazed?” said the angel. “I will tell you the mystery of the woman and of the beast that carries her, which has the seven heads and ten horns.

⁸你所看见的兽，先前有，如今没有，将要从无底坑里上来，又要归于沉沦。凡住在地上、名字从创世以来没有记在生命册上的，见先前有、如今没有、以后再有的兽，就必希奇。The beast that you saw—it was, and now is no more, but is about to come up out of the Abyss and go to its destruction. And those who dwell on the earth whose names were not written in the Book of Life from the foundation of the world will marvel when they see the beast that was, and is not, and yet will be.

七头是七座山、七位王

⁹智慧的心在此可以思想。那七头就是女人所坐的七座山，This calls for a mind with wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains on which the woman sits.

¹⁰又是七位王；五位已经倾倒了，一位还在，一位还没有来到；他来的时候，必须暂时存留。There are also seven kings. Five have fallen, one is, and the other has not yet come. But when he does come, he must remain for only a little while.

¹¹那先前有如今没有的兽，就是第八位；他也和那七位同列，并且归于沉沦。The beast that was, and now is not, is an eighth king, who belongs to the other seven and is going into destruction.

十角是十王

¹²你所看见的那十角就是十王；他们还没有得国，但他们一时之间要和兽同得权柄，与王一样。The ten horns you saw are ten kings who have not yet received a kingdom, but will receive one hour of authority as kings along with the beast.

¹³他们同心合意将自己的能力、权柄给那兽。These kings have one purpose: to yield their power and authority to the beast.

羔羊必胜过他们

¹⁴他们与羔羊争战，羔羊必胜过他们，因为羔羊是万主之主、万王之王。同着羔羊的，就是蒙召、被选、有忠心的，也必得胜。”They will make war against the Lamb, and the Lamb will triumph over them, because He is Lord of lords and King of kings; and He will be accompanied by His called and chosen and faithful ones.”

众水是多民多国

¹⁵天使又对我说：“你所看见那淫妇坐的众水，就是多民、多人、多国、多方。Then the angel said to me, “The waters you saw, where the prostitute was seated, are peoples and multitudes and nations and tongues.

十角与兽必恨这淫妇

¹⁶你所看见的那十角与兽必恨这淫妇，使她冷落赤身，又要吃她的肉，用火将她烧尽。And the ten horns and the beast that you saw will hate the prostitute. They will leave her desolate and naked, and they will eat her flesh and burn her with fire.

¹⁷因为　神使诸王同心合意，遵行他的旨意，把自己的国给那兽，直等到　神的话都应验了。For God has put it into their hearts to carry out His purpose by uniting to give their kingdom to the beast, until the words of God are fulfilled.

¹⁸你所看见的那女人就是管辖地上众王的大城。”And the woman you saw is the great city that rules over the kings of the earth.”
