站在圣殿门口宣讲

¹耶和华的话临到耶利米说：This is the word that came to Jeremiah from the LORD, saying,

²“你当站在耶和华殿的门口，在那里宣传这话说：你们进这些门敬拜耶和华的一切犹大人，当听耶和华的话。“Stand in the gate of the house of the LORD and proclaim this message: Hear the word of the LORD, all you people of Judah who enter through these gates to worship the LORD.

³万军之耶和华—以色列的　神如此说：你们改正行动作为，我就使你们在这地方仍然居住。Thus says the LORD of Hosts, the God of Israel: Correct your ways and deeds, and I will let you live in this place.

不要倚靠虚谎的话

⁴你们不要倚靠虚谎的话，说：‘这些是耶和华的殿，是耶和华的殿，是耶和华的殿！’Do not trust in deceptive words, saying: ‘This is the temple of the LORD, the temple of the LORD, the temple of the LORD.’

⁵“你们若实在改正行动作为，在人和邻舍中间诚然施行公平，For if you really correct your ways and deeds, if you act justly toward one another,

⁶不欺压寄居的和孤儿寡妇，在这地方不流无辜人的血，也不随从别神陷害自己，if you no longer oppress the foreigner and the fatherless and the widow, and if you no longer shed innocent blood in this place or follow other gods to your own harm,

⁷我就使你们在这地方仍然居住，就是我古时所赐给你们列祖的地，直到永远。then I will let you live in this place, in the land that I gave to your fathers forever and ever.

圣殿岂可成为贼窝

⁸“看哪，你们倚靠虚谎无益的话。But look, you keep trusting in deceptive words to no avail.

⁹你们偷盗，杀害，奸淫，起假誓，向巴力烧香，并随从素不认识的别神，Will you steal and murder, commit adultery and perjury, burn incense to Baal, and follow other gods that you have not known,

¹⁰且来到这称为我名下的殿，在我面前敬拜；又说：‘我们可以自由了。’你们这样的举动是要行那些可憎的事吗？and then come and stand before Me in this house, which bears My Name, and say, ‘We are delivered, so we can continue with all these abominations’?

¹¹这称为我名下的殿在你们眼中岂可看为贼窝吗？我都看见了。这是耶和华说的。Has this house, which bears My Name, become a den of robbers in your sight? Yes, I too have seen it, declares the LORD.

往示罗去察看

¹²你们且往示罗去，就是我先前立为我名的居所，察看我因这百姓以色列的罪恶向那地所行的如何。”But go now to the place in Shiloh where I first made a dwelling for My Name, and see what I did to it because of the wickedness of My people Israel.

¹³耶和华说：“现在因你们行了这一切的事，我也从早起来警戒你们，你们却不听从；呼唤你们，你们却不答应。And now, because you have done all these things, declares the LORD, and because I have spoken to you again and again but you would not listen, and I have called to you but you would not answer,

¹⁴所以我要向这称为我名下、你们所倚靠的殿，与我所赐给你们和你们列祖的地施行，照我从前向示罗所行的一样。therefore what I did to Shiloh I will now do to the house that bears My Name, the house in which you trust, the place that I gave to you and your fathers.

¹⁵我必将你们从我眼前赶出，正如赶出你们的众弟兄，就是以法莲的一切后裔。”And I will cast you out of My presence, just as I have cast out all your brothers, all the descendants of Ephraim.

不要为这百姓祈祷

¹⁶“所以，你不要为这百姓祈祷；不要为他们呼求祷告，也不要向我为他们祈求，因我不听允你。As for you, do not pray for these people, do not offer a plea or petition on their behalf, and do not beg Me, for I will not listen to you.

¹⁷他们在犹大城邑中和耶路撒冷街上所行的，你没有看见吗？Do you not see what they are doing in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem?

¹⁸孩子捡柴，父亲烧火，妇女抟面做饼，献给天后，又向别神浇奠祭，惹我发怒。”The sons gather wood, the fathers light the fire, and the women knead the dough to make cakes for the Queen of Heaven; they pour out drink offerings to other gods to provoke Me to anger.

¹⁹耶和华说：“他们岂是惹我发怒呢？不是自己惹祸，以致脸上惭愧吗？”But am I the One they are provoking? declares the LORD. Is it not themselves they spite, to their own shame?

²⁰所以主耶和华如此说：“看哪，我必将我的怒气和忿怒倾在这地方的人和牲畜身上，并田野的树木和地里的出产上，必如火着起，不能熄灭。”Therefore this is what the Lord GOD says: Behold, My anger and My fury will be poured out on this place, on man and beast, on the trees of the field and the produce of the land, and it will burn and not be extinguished.

听从神的话胜于献祭

²¹万军之耶和华—以色列的　神如此说：“你们将燔祭加在平安祭上，吃肉吧！This is what the LORD of Hosts, the God of Israel, says: Add your burnt offerings to your other sacrifices and eat the meat yourselves!

²²因为我将你们列祖从埃及地领出来的那日，燔祭平安祭的事我并没有提说，也没有吩咐他们。For when I brought your fathers out of the land of Egypt, I did not merely command them about burnt offerings and sacrifices,

²³我只吩咐他们这一件说：‘你们当听从我的话，我就作你们的　神，你们也作我的子民。你们行我所吩咐的一切道，就可以得福。’but this is what I commanded them: Obey Me, and I will be your God, and you will be My people. You must walk in all the ways I have commanded you, so that it may go well with you.

²⁴他们却不听从，不侧耳而听，竟随从自己的计谋和顽梗的恶心，向后不向前。Yet they did not listen or incline their ear, but they followed the stubborn inclinations of their own evil hearts. They went backward and not forward.

²⁵自从你们列祖出埃及地的那日，直到今日，我差遣我的仆人众先知到你们那里去，每日从早起来差遣他们。From the day your fathers came out of the land of Egypt until this day, I have sent you all My servants the prophets again and again.

²⁶你们却不听从，不侧耳而听，竟硬着颈项行恶，比你们列祖更甚。Yet they would not listen to Me or incline their ear, but they stiffened their necks and did more evil than their fathers.

²⁷“你要将这一切的话告诉他们，他们却不听从；呼唤他们，他们却不答应。When you tell them all these things, they will not listen to you. When you call to them, they will not answer.

²⁸你要对他们说：这就是不听从耶和华—他们　神的话、不受教训的国民；从他们的口中，诚实灭绝了。”Therefore you must say to them, ‘This is the nation that would not listen to the voice of the LORD their God and would not receive correction. Truth has perished; it has disappeared from their lips.

剪发举哀，欣嫩子谷要称为杀戮谷

²⁹耶路撒冷啊，要剪发抛弃，在净光的高处举哀；因为耶和华丢掉离弃了惹他忿怒的世代。Cut off your hair and throw it away. Raise up a lamentation on the barren heights, for the LORD has rejected and forsaken the generation of His wrath.’

³⁰耶和华说：“犹大人行我眼中看为恶的事，将可憎之物设立在称为我名下的殿中，污秽这殿。For the people of Judah have done evil in My sight, declares the LORD. They have set up their abominations in the house that bears My Name, and so have defiled it.

³¹他们在欣嫩子谷建筑陀斐特的邱坛，好在火中焚烧自己的儿女。这并不是我所吩咐的，也不是我心所起的意。”They have built the high places of Topheth in the Valley of Ben-hinnom so they could burn their sons and daughters in the fire—something I never commanded, nor did it even enter My mind.

³²耶和华说：“因此，日子将到，这地方不再称为陀斐特和欣嫩子谷，反倒称为杀戮谷。因为要在陀斐特葬埋尸首，甚至无处可葬；So behold, the days are coming, declares the LORD, when this place will no longer be called Topheth and the Valley of Ben-hinnom, but the Valley of Slaughter. For they will bury the dead in Topheth until there is no more room.

³³并且这百姓的尸首必给空中的飞鸟和地上的野兽作食物，并无人哄赶。The corpses of this people will become food for the birds of the air and the beasts of the earth, and there will be no one to scare them away.

³⁴那时，我必使犹大城邑中和耶路撒冷街上，欢喜和快乐的声音，新郎和新妇的声音，都止息了，因为地必成为荒场。”I will remove from the cities of Judah and the streets of Jerusalem the sounds of joy and gladness and the voices of the bride and bridegroom, for the land will become a wasteland.”

骸骨抛散在日月星辰之下

¹耶和华说：“到那时，人必将犹大王的骸骨和他首领的骸骨、祭司的骸骨、先知的骸骨，并耶路撒冷居民的骸骨，都从坟墓中取出来，“At that time,” declares the LORD, “the bones of the kings of Judah, the bones of the officials, the bones of the priests, the bones of the prophets, and the bones of the people of Jerusalem will be removed from their graves.

²抛散在日头、月亮，和天上众星之下，就是他们从前所喜爱、所事奉、所随从、所求问、所敬拜的。这些骸骨不再收殓，不再葬埋，必在地面上成为粪土；They will be exposed to the sun and moon, and to all the host of heaven which they have loved, served, followed, consulted, and worshiped. Their bones will not be gathered up or buried, but will become like dung lying on the ground.

³并且这恶族所剩下的民在我所赶他们到的各处，宁可拣死不拣生。这是万军之耶和华说的。”And wherever I have banished them, the remnant of this evil family will choose death over life,” declares the LORD of Hosts.

人跌倒，不再起来吗

⁴你要对他们说，耶和华如此说：人跌倒，不再起来吗？人转去，不再转来吗？So you are to tell them this is what the LORD says: “Do men fall and not get up again? Does one turn away and not return?

⁵这耶路撒冷的民，为何恒久背道呢？他们守定诡诈，不肯回头。Why then have these people turned away? Why does Jerusalem always turn away? They cling to deceit; they refuse to return.

⁶我留心听，听见他们说不正直的话。无人悔改恶行，说：我做的是什么呢？他们各人转奔己路，如马直闯战场。I have listened and heard; they do not speak what is right. No one repents of his wickedness, asking, ‘What have I done?’ Everyone has pursued his own course like a horse charging into battle.

鹳鸟知道来去的定期

⁷空中的鹳鸟知道来去的定期；斑鸠燕子与白鹤也守候当来的时令；我的百姓却不知道耶和华的法则。Even the stork in the sky knows her appointed seasons. The turtledove, the swift, and the thrush keep their time of migration, but My people do not know the requirements of the LORD.

文士的假笔

⁸你们怎么说：我们有智慧，耶和华的律法在我们这里？看哪，文士的假笔舞弄虚假。How can you say, ‘We are wise, and the Law of the LORD is with us,’ when in fact the lying pen of the scribes has produced a deception?

⁹智慧人惭愧，惊惶，被擒拿；他们弃掉耶和华的话，心里还有什么智慧呢？The wise will be put to shame; they will be dismayed and trapped. Since they have rejected the word of the LORD, what wisdom do they really have?

¹⁰所以我必将他们的妻子给别人，将他们的田地给别人为业；因为他们从最小的到至大的都一味地贪婪，从先知到祭司都行事虚谎。Therefore I will give their wives to other men and their fields to new owners. For from the least of them to the greatest, all are greedy for gain; from prophet to priest, all practice deceit.

¹¹他们轻轻忽忽地医治我百姓的损伤，说：平安了！平安了！其实没有平安。They dress the wound of the daughter of My people with very little care, saying, ‘Peace, peace,’ when there is no peace at all.

¹²他们行可憎的事知道惭愧吗？不然，他们毫不惭愧，也不知羞耻。因此他们必在仆倒的人中仆倒；我向他们讨罪的时候，他们必致跌倒。这是耶和华说的。Are they ashamed of the abomination they have committed? No, they have no shame at all; they do not even know how to blush. So they will fall among the fallen; when I punish them, they will collapse, says the LORD.

葡萄树上没有葡萄

¹³耶和华说：我必使他们全然灭绝；葡萄树上必没有葡萄，无花果树上必没有果子，叶子也必枯干。我所赐给他们的，必离开他们过去。I will take away their harvest, declares the LORD. There will be no grapes on the vine, nor figs on the tree, and even the leaf will wither. Whatever I have given them will be lost to them.”

¹⁴我们为何静坐不动呢？我们当聚集，进入坚固城，在那里静默不言；因为耶和华—我们的　神使我们静默不言，又将苦胆水给我们喝，都因我们得罪了耶和华。Why are we just sitting here? Gather together, let us flee to the fortified cities and perish there, for the LORD our God has doomed us. He has given us poisoned water to drink, because we have sinned against the LORD.

¹⁵我们指望平安，却得不着好处；指望痊愈的时候，不料，受了惊惶。We hoped for peace, but no good has come, for a time of healing, but there was only terror.

¹⁶听见从但那里敌人的马喷鼻气，他的壮马发嘶声，全地就都震动；因为他们来吞灭这地和其上所有的，吞灭这城与其中的居民。The snorting of enemy horses is heard from Dan. At the sound of the neighing of mighty steeds, the whole land quakes. They come to devour the land and everything in it, the city and all who dwell in it.

¹⁷看哪，我必使毒蛇到你们中间，是不服法术的，必咬你们。这是耶和华说的。“For behold, I will send snakes among you, vipers that cannot be charmed, and they will bite you,” declares the LORD.

在基列岂没有乳香

¹⁸我有忧愁，愿能自慰；我心在我里面发昏。My sorrow is beyond healing; my heart is faint within me.

¹⁹听啊，是我百姓的哀声从极远之地而来，说：耶和华不在锡安吗？锡安的王不在其中么？耶和华说：他们为什么以雕刻的偶像和外邦虚无的神惹我发怒呢？Listen to the cry of the daughter of my people from a land far away: “Is the LORD no longer in Zion? Is her King no longer there?” “Why have they provoked Me to anger with their carved images, with their worthless foreign idols?”

²⁰麦秋已过，夏令已完，我们还未得救！“The harvest has passed, the summer has ended, but we have not been saved.”

²¹先知说：因我百姓的损伤，我也受了损伤。我哀痛，惊惶将我抓住。For the brokenness of the daughter of my people I am crushed. I mourn; horror has gripped me.

²²在基列岂没有乳香呢？在那里岂没有医生呢？我百姓为何不得痊愈呢？Is there no balm in Gilead? Is no physician there? Why then has the health of the daughter of my people not been restored?

远离不按规矩而行的人

⁶弟兄们，我们奉主耶稣基督的名吩咐你们，凡有弟兄不按规矩而行，不遵守从我们所受的教训，就当远离他。Now we command you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, to keep away from any brother who leads an undisciplined life that is not in keeping with the tradition you received from us.

保罗昼夜做工作榜样

⁷你们自己原知道应当怎样效法我们。因为我们在你们中间，未尝不按规矩而行，For you yourselves know how you ought to imitate us, because we were not undisciplined among you,

⁸也未尝白吃人的饭，倒是辛苦劳碌，昼夜做工，免得叫你们一人受累。nor did we eat anyone’s food without paying for it. Instead, in labor and toil, we worked night and day so that we would not be a burden to any of you.

⁹这并不是因我们没有权柄，乃是要给你们作榜样，叫你们效法我们。Not that we lack this right, but we wanted to offer ourselves as an example for you to imitate.

不肯做工就不可吃饭

¹⁰我们在你们那里的时候，曾吩咐你们说，若有人不肯做工，就不可吃饭。For even while we were with you, we gave you this command: “If anyone is unwilling to work, he shall not eat.”

¹¹因我们听说，在你们中间有人不按规矩而行，什么工都不做，反倒专管闲事。For we hear that some of you are leading undisciplined lives, accomplishing nothing, but being busybodies.

¹²我们靠主耶稣基督吩咐、劝戒这样的人，要安静做工，吃自己的饭。We command and urge such people by our Lord Jesus Christ to begin working quietly to earn their own living.

行善不可丧志

¹³弟兄们，你们行善不可丧志。But as for you, brothers, do not grow weary in well-doing.

¹⁴若有人不听从我们这信上的话，要记下他，不和他交往，叫他自觉羞愧。Take note of anyone who does not obey the instructions we have given in this letter. Do not associate with him, so that he may be ashamed.

¹⁵但不要以他为仇人，要劝他如弟兄。Yet do not regard him as an enemy, but admonish him as a brother.

祝福与亲笔问安

¹⁶愿赐平安的主随时随事亲自给你们平安！愿主常与你们众人同在！Now may the Lord of peace Himself give you peace at all times and in every way. The Lord be with all of you.

¹⁷我—保罗亲笔问你们安。凡我的信都以此为记，我的笔迹就是这样。This greeting is in my own hand—Paul. This is my mark in every letter; it is the way I write.

¹⁸愿我们主耶稣基督的恩常与你们众人同在！The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with all of you.
