塞鲁士下诏重建圣殿

¹波斯王塞鲁士元年，耶和华为要应验借耶利米口所说的话，就激动波斯王塞鲁士的心，使他下诏通告全国说：In the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, to fulfill the word of the LORD spoken through Jeremiah, the LORD stirred the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia to send a proclamation throughout his kingdom and to put it in writing as follows:

²“波斯王塞鲁士如此说：‘耶和华天上的　神已将天下万国赐给我，又嘱咐我在犹大的耶路撒冷为他建造殿宇。“This is what Cyrus king of Persia says: ‘The LORD, the God of heaven, who has given me all the kingdoms of the earth, has appointed me to build a house for Him at Jerusalem in Judah.

³在你们中间凡作他子民的，可以上犹大的耶路撒冷，在耶路撒冷重建耶和华—以色列　神的殿（只有他是　神）。愿　神与这人同在。Whoever among you belongs to His people, may his God be with him, and may he go to Jerusalem in Judah and build the house of the LORD, the God of Israel; He is the God who is in Jerusalem.

⁴凡剩下的人，无论寄居何处，那地的人要用金银、财物、牲畜帮助他，另外也要为耶路撒冷　神的殿甘心献上礼物。’”And let every survivor, wherever he lives, be assisted by the men of that region with silver, gold, goods, and livestock, along with a freewill offering for the house of God in Jerusalem.’”

神激动百姓的心

⁵于是，犹大和便雅悯的族长、祭司、利未人，就是一切被　神激动他心的人，都起来要上耶路撒冷去建造耶和华的殿。So the family heads of Judah and Benjamin, along with the priests and Levites—everyone whose spirit God had stirred—prepared to go up and rebuild the house of the LORD in Jerusalem.

⁶他们四围的人就拿银器、金子、财物、牲畜、珍宝帮助他们（原文是坚固他们的手），另外还有甘心献的礼物。And all their neighbors supported them with articles of silver and gold, with goods and livestock, and with valuables, in addition to all their freewill offerings.

归还圣殿的器皿

⁷塞鲁士王也将耶和华殿的器皿拿出来，这器皿是尼布甲尼撒从耶路撒冷掠来、放在自己神之庙中的。King Cyrus also brought out the articles belonging to the house of the LORD that Nebuchadnezzar had carried away from Jerusalem and placed in the temple of his gods.

⁸波斯王塞鲁士派库官米提利达将这器皿拿出来，按数交给犹大的首领设巴萨。Cyrus king of Persia had them brought out by the hand of Mithredath the treasurer, who counted them out to Sheshbazzar the prince of Judah.

⁹器皿的数目记在下面：金盘三十个，银盘一千个，刀二十九把，This was the inventory: 30 gold dishes, 1,000 silver dishes, 29 silver utensils,

¹⁰金碗三十个，银碗之次的四百一十个，别样的器皿一千件。30 gold bowls, 410 matching silver bowls, and 1,000 other articles.

¹¹金银器皿共有五千四百件。被掳的人从巴比伦上耶路撒冷的时候，设巴萨将这一切都带上来。In all, there were 5,400 gold and silver articles. Sheshbazzar brought all these along when the exiles went up from Babylon to Jerusalem.

第一批归回者的名册

¹巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒从前掳到巴比伦之犹大省的人，现在他们的子孙从被掳到之地回耶路撒冷和犹大，各归本城。Now these are the people of the province who came up from the captivity of the exiles carried away to Babylon by Nebuchadnezzar its king. They returned to Jerusalem and Judah, each to his own town,

²他们是同着所罗巴伯、耶书亚、尼希米、西莱雅、利来雅、末底改、必珊、米斯拔、比革瓦伊、利宏、巴拿回来的。accompanied by Zerubbabel, Jeshua, Nehemiah, Seraiah, Reelaiah, Mordecai, Bilshan, Mispar, Bigvai, Rehum, and Baanah. This is the count of the men of Israel:

³以色列人民的数目记在下面：巴录的子孙二千一百七十二名；the descendants of Parosh, 2,172;

⁴示法提雅的子孙三百七十二名；the descendants of Shephatiah, 372;

⁵亚拉的子孙七百七十五名；the descendants of Arah, 775;

⁶巴哈·摩押的后裔，就是耶书亚和约押的子孙二千八百一十二名；the descendants of Pahath-moab (through the line of Jeshua and Joab), 2,812;

⁷以拦的子孙一千二百五十四名；the descendants of Elam, 1,254;

⁸萨土的子孙九百四十五名；the descendants of Zattu, 945;

⁹萨改的子孙七百六十名；the descendants of Zaccai, 760;

¹⁰巴尼的子孙六百四十二名；the descendants of Bani, 642;

¹¹比拜的子孙六百二十三名；the descendants of Bebai, 623;

¹²押甲的子孙一千二百二十二名；the descendants of Azgad, 1,222;

³⁶祭司：耶书亚家耶大雅的子孙九百七十三名；The priests: The descendants of Jedaiah (through the house of Jeshua), 973;

³⁷音麦的子孙一千零五十二名；the descendants of Immer, 1,052;

³⁸巴施户珥的子孙一千二百四十七名；the descendants of Pashhur, 1,247;

³⁹哈琳的子孙一千零一十七名。and the descendants of Harim, 1,017.

⁴⁰利未人：何达威雅的后裔，就是耶书亚和甲篾的子孙七十四名。The Levites: the descendants of Jeshua and Kadmiel (through the line of Hodaviah), 74.

⁴¹歌唱的：亚萨的子孙一百二十八名。The singers: the descendants of Asaph, 128.

⁴²守门的：沙龙的子孙、亚特的子孙、达们的子孙、亚谷的子孙、哈底大的子孙、朔拜的子孙，共一百三十九名。The gatekeepers: the descendants of Shallum, the descendants of Ater, the descendants of Talmon, the descendants of Akkub, the descendants of Hatita, and the descendants of Shobai, 139 in all.

⁴³尼提宁（就是殿役）：西哈的子孙、哈苏巴的子孙、答巴俄的子孙、The temple servants: the descendants of Ziha, the descendants of Hasupha, the descendants of Tabbaoth,

⁴⁴基绿的子孙、西亚的子孙、巴顿的子孙、the descendants of Keros, the descendants of Siaha, the descendants of Padon,

⁴⁵利巴拿的子孙、哈迦巴的子孙、亚谷的子孙、the descendants of Lebanah, the descendants of Hagabah, the descendants of Akkub,

⁵⁶雅拉的子孙、达昆的子孙、吉德的子孙、the descendants of Jaala, the descendants of Darkon, the descendants of Giddel,

⁵⁷示法提雅的子孙、哈替的子孙、玻黑列·哈斯巴音的子孙、亚米的子孙。the descendants of Shephatiah, the descendants of Hattil, the descendants of Pochereth-hazzebaim, and the descendants of Ami.

⁵⁸尼提宁和所罗门仆人的后裔共三百九十二名。The temple servants and descendants of the servants of Solomon numbered 392 in all.

查不出家谱的人

⁵⁹从特·米拉、特·哈萨、基绿、押但、音麦上来的，不能指明他们的宗族谱系是以色列人不是；The following came up from Tel-melah, Tel-harsha, Cherub, Addan, and Immer, but they could not prove that their families were descended from Israel:

⁶⁰他们是第来雅的子孙、多比雅的子孙、尼哥大的子孙，共六百五十二名。the descendants of Delaiah, the descendants of Tobiah, and the descendants of Nekoda, 652 in all.

⁶¹祭司中，哈巴雅的子孙、哈哥斯的子孙、巴西莱的子孙；因为他们的先祖娶了基列人巴西莱的女儿为妻，所以起名叫巴西莱。And from among the priests: the descendants of Hobaiah, the descendants of Hakkoz, and the descendants of Barzillai (who had married a daughter of Barzillai the Gileadite and was called by their name).

⁶²这三家的人在族谱之中寻查自己的谱系，却寻不着，因此算为不洁，不准供祭司的职任。These men searched for their family records, but they could not find them and so were excluded from the priesthood as unclean.

⁶³省长对他们说：“不可吃至圣的物，直到有用乌陵和土明决疑的祭司兴起来。”The governor ordered them not to eat the most holy things until there was a priest to consult the Urim and Thummim.

会众总数

⁶⁴会众共有四万二千三百六十名。The whole assembly numbered 42,360,

⁶⁵此外，还有他们的仆婢七千三百三十七名，又有歌唱的男女二百名。in addition to their 7,337 menservants and maidservants, as well as their 200 male and female singers.

⁶⁶他们有马七百三十六匹，骡子二百四十五匹，They had 736 horses, 245 mules,

⁶⁷骆驼四百三十五只，驴六千七百二十匹。435 camels, and 6,720 donkeys.

为建殿甘心献上

⁶⁸有些族长到了耶路撒冷耶和华殿的地方，便为　神的殿甘心献上礼物，要重新建造。When they arrived at the house of the LORD in Jerusalem, some of the heads of the families gave freewill offerings to rebuild the house of God on its original site.

⁶⁹他们量力捐入工程库的金子六万一千达利克，银子五千弥拿，并祭司的礼服一百件。According to their ability, they gave to the treasury for this work 61,000 darics of gold, 5,000 minas of silver, and 100 priestly garments.

⁷⁰于是祭司、利未人、民中的一些人、歌唱的、守门的、尼提宁，并以色列众人，各住在自己的城里。So the priests, the Levites, the singers, the gatekeepers, and the temple servants, along with some of the people, settled in their own towns; and the rest of the Israelites settled in their towns.

约翰离开，来到彼西底的安提阿

¹³保罗和他的同人从帕弗开船，来到旁非利亚的别加，约翰就离开他们，回耶路撒冷去。After setting sail from Paphos, Paul and his companions came to Perga in Pamphylia, where John left them to return to Jerusalem.

¹⁴他们离了别加往前行，来到彼西底的安提阿，在安息日进会堂坐下。And from Perga, they traveled inland to Pisidian Antioch, where they entered the synagogue on the Sabbath and sat down.

¹⁵读完了律法和先知的书，管会堂的叫人过去，对他们说：“二位兄台，若有什么劝勉众人的话，请说。”After the reading from the Law and the Prophets, the synagogue leaders sent word to them: “Brothers, if you have a word of encouragement for the people, please speak.”

保罗讲道：神在以色列历史中的作为

¹⁶保罗就站起来，举手，说：“以色列人和一切敬畏　神的人，请听。Paul stood up, motioned with his hand, and began to speak: “Men of Israel and you Gentiles who fear God, listen to me!

¹⁷这以色列民的　神拣选了我们的祖宗，当民寄居埃及的时候抬举他们，用大能的手领他们出来；The God of the people of Israel chose our fathers. He made them into a great people during their stay in Egypt, and with an uplifted arm He led them out of that land.

¹⁸又在旷野容忍（或译：抚养）他们，约有四十年。He endured their conduct for about forty years in the wilderness.

¹⁹既灭了迦南地七族的人，就把那地分给他们为业；And having vanquished seven nations in Canaan, He gave their land to His people as an inheritance.

²⁰此后给他们设立士师，约有四百五十年，直到先知撒母耳的时候。All this took about 450 years. After this, God gave them judges until the time of Samuel the prophet.

²¹后来他们求一个王，　神就将便雅悯支派中基士的儿子扫罗，给他们作王四十年。Then the people asked for a king, and God gave them Saul son of Kish, from the tribe of Benjamin, who ruled forty years.

²²既废了扫罗，就选立大卫作他们的王，又为他作见证说：‘我寻得耶西的儿子大卫，他是合我心意的人，凡事要遵行我的旨意。’After removing Saul, He raised up David as their king and testified about him: ‘I have found David son of Jesse a man after My own heart; he will carry out My will in its entirety.’

救主耶稣从大卫后裔而出

²³从这人的后裔中，　神已经照着所应许的，为以色列人立了一位救主，就是耶稣。From the descendants of this man, God has brought to Israel the Savior Jesus, as He promised.

²⁴在他没有出来以先，约翰向以色列众民宣讲悔改的洗礼。Before the arrival of Jesus, John preached a baptism of repentance to all the people of Israel.

²⁵约翰将行尽他的程途说：‘你们以为我是谁？我不是基督；只是有一位在我以后来的，我解他脚上的鞋带也是不配的。’As John was completing his course, he said, ‘Who do you suppose I am? I am not that One. But there is One coming after me whose sandals I am not worthy to untie.’

耶稣受死与复活

²⁶“弟兄们，亚伯拉罕的子孙和你们中间敬畏　神的人哪，这救世的道是传给我们的。Brothers, children of Abraham, and you Gentiles who fear God, it is to us that this message of salvation has been sent.

²⁷耶路撒冷居住的人和他们的官长，因为不认识基督，也不明白每安息日所读众先知的书，就把基督定了死罪，正应了先知的预言；The people of Jerusalem and their rulers did not recognize Jesus, yet in condemning Him they fulfilled the words of the prophets that are read every Sabbath.

²⁸虽然查不出他有当死的罪来，还是求彼拉多杀他；And though they found no ground for a death sentence, they asked Pilate to have Him executed.

²⁹既成就了经上指着他所记的一切话，就把他从木头上取下来，放在坟墓里。When they had carried out all that was written about Him, they took Him down from the tree and laid Him in a tomb.

³⁰神却叫他从死里复活。But God raised Him from the dead,

³¹那从加利利同他上耶路撒冷的人多日看见他，这些人如今在民间是他的见证。and for many days He was seen by those who had accompanied Him from Galilee to Jerusalem. They are now His witnesses to our people.

³²我们也报好信息给你们，就是那应许祖宗的话，And now we proclaim to you the good news: What God promised our fathers

³³神已经向我们这作儿女的应验，叫耶稣复活了。正如诗篇第二篇上记着说：你是我的儿子，我今日生你。He has fulfilled for us, their children, by raising up Jesus. As it is written in the second Psalm: ‘You are My Son; today I have become Your Father.’

³⁴论到　神叫他从死里复活，不再归于朽坏，就这样说：我必将所应许大卫那圣洁、可靠的恩典赐给你们。In fact, God raised Him from the dead, never to see decay. As He has said: ‘I will give you the holy and sure blessings promised to David.’

³⁶“大卫在世的时候遵行了　神的旨意，就睡了（或译：大卫按　神的旨意服事了他那一世的人，就睡了），归到他祖宗那里，已见朽坏；For when David had served God’s purpose in his own generation, he fell asleep. His body was buried with his fathers and saw decay.

³⁷惟独　神所复活的，他并未见朽坏。But the One whom God raised from the dead did not see decay.

靠耶稣得赦罪称义

³⁸所以，弟兄们，你们当晓得：赦罪的道是由这人传给你们的。Therefore let it be known to you, brothers, that through Jesus the forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you.

³⁹你们靠摩西的律法，在一切不得称义的事上信靠这人，就都得称义了。Through Him everyone who believes is justified from everything from which you could not be justified by the law of Moses.

⁴⁰所以，你们务要小心，免得先知书上所说的临到你们。Watch out, then, that what was spoken by the prophets does not happen to you:

⁴¹主说：你们这轻慢的人要观看，要惊奇，要灭亡；因为在你们的时候，我行一件事，虽有人告诉你们，你们总是不信。”‘Look, you scoffers, wonder and perish! For I am doing a work in your days that you would never believe, even if someone told you.’”

众人请他们再讲

⁴²他们出会堂的时候，众人请他们到下安息日再讲这话给他们听。As Paul and Barnabas were leaving the synagogue, the people urged them to continue this message on the next Sabbath.

⁴³散会以后，犹太人和敬虔进犹太教的人多有跟从保罗、巴拿巴的。二人对他们讲道，劝他们务要恒久在　神的恩中。After the synagogue was dismissed, many of the Jews and devout converts to Judaism followed Paul and Barnabas, who spoke to them and urged them to continue in the grace of God.

犹太人嫉妒，使徒转向外邦人

⁴⁴到下安息日，合城的人几乎都来聚集，要听　神的道。On the following Sabbath, nearly the whole city gathered to hear the word of the Lord.

⁴⁵但犹太人看见人这样多，就满心嫉妒，硬驳保罗所说的话，并且毁谤。But when the Jews saw the crowds, they were filled with jealousy, and they blasphemously contradicted what Paul was saying.

⁴⁶保罗和巴拿巴放胆说：“　神的道先讲给你们原是应当的；只因你们弃绝这道，断定自己不配得永生，我们就转向外邦人去。Then Paul and Barnabas answered them boldly: “It was necessary to speak the word of God to you first. But since you reject it and do not consider yourselves worthy of eternal life, we now turn to the Gentiles.

⁴⁷因为主曾这样吩咐我们说：我已经立你作外邦人的光，叫你施行救恩，直到地极。”For this is what the Lord has commanded us: ‘I have made you a light for the Gentiles, to bring salvation to the ends of the earth.’”

⁴⁸外邦人听见这话，就欢喜了，赞美　神的道；凡预定得永生的人都信了。When the Gentiles heard this, they rejoiced and glorified the word of the Lord, and all who were appointed for eternal life believed.

⁴⁹于是主的道传遍了那一带地方。And the word of the Lord spread throughout that region.

被赶出境外

⁵⁰但犹太人挑唆虔敬、尊贵的妇女和城内有名望的人，逼迫保罗、巴拿巴，将他们赶出境外。The Jews, however, incited the religious women of prominence and the leading men of the city. They stirred up persecution against Paul and Barnabas and drove them out of their district.

⁵¹二人对着众人跺下脚上的尘土，就往以哥念去了。So they shook the dust off their feet in protest against them and went to Iconium.

⁵²门徒满心喜乐，又被圣灵充满。And the disciples were filled with joy and with the Holy Spirit.
