派定祭司利未人的班次

²希西家派定祭司利未人的班次，各按各职献燔祭和平安祭，又在耶和华殿（原文是营）门内事奉，称谢颂赞耶和华。Hezekiah reestablished the divisions of the priests and Levites—each of them according to their duties as priests or Levites—for the burnt offerings and peace offerings, for ministry, for giving thanks, and for singing praises at the gates of the LORD’s dwelling.

³王又从自己的产业中定出分来为燔祭，就是早晚的燔祭和安息日、月朔，并节期的燔祭，都是按耶和华律法上所载的；The king contributed from his own possessions for the regular morning and evening burnt offerings and for the burnt offerings on the Sabbaths, New Moons, and appointed feasts, as written in the Law of the LORD.

百姓踊跃奉献，积成堆垒

⁴又吩咐住耶路撒冷的百姓将祭司、利未人所应得的分给他们，使他们专心遵守耶和华的律法。Moreover, he commanded the people living in Jerusalem to make a contribution for the priests and Levites so that they could devote themselves to the Law of the LORD.

⁵谕旨一出，以色列人就把初熟的五谷、新酒、油、蜜，和田地的出产多多送来，又把各物的十分之一送来的极多。As soon as the order went out, the Israelites generously provided the firstfruits of the grain, new wine, oil, and honey, and of all the produce of the field, and they brought in an abundance—a tithe of everything.

⁶住犹大各城的以色列人和犹大人也将牛羊的十分之一，并分别为圣归耶和华—他们　神之物，就是十分取一之物，尽都送来，积成堆垒；And the Israelites and Judahites who lived in the cities of Judah also brought a tithe of their herds and flocks and a tithe of the holy things consecrated to the LORD their God, and they laid them in large heaps.

⁷从三月积起，到七月才完。In the third month they began building up the heaps, and they finished in the seventh month.

⁸希西家和众首领来，看见堆垒，就称颂耶和华，又为耶和华的民以色列人祝福。When Hezekiah and his officials came and viewed the heaps, they blessed the LORD and His people Israel.

⁹希西家向祭司、利未人查问这堆垒。Then Hezekiah questioned the priests and Levites about the heaps,

¹⁰撒督家的大祭司亚撒利雅回答说：“自从民将供物送到耶和华殿以来，我们不但吃饱，且剩下的甚多；因为耶和华赐福给他的民，所剩下的才这样丰盛。”and Azariah, the chief priest of the household of Zadok, answered him, “Since the people began to bring their contributions into the house of the LORD, we have had enough to eat, and there is plenty left over, because the LORD has blessed His people; this great abundance is what is left over.”

预备仓房，忠心分配

¹¹希西家吩咐在耶和华殿里预备仓房，他们就预备了。Then Hezekiah commanded them to prepare storerooms in the house of the LORD, and they did so.

¹²他们诚心将供物和十分取一之物，并分别为圣之物，都搬入仓内。利未人歌楠雅掌管这事，他兄弟示每为副管。And they faithfully brought in the contributions, tithes, and dedicated gifts. Conaniah the Levite was the officer in charge of them, and his brother Shimei was second.

¹³耶歇、亚撒细雅、拿哈、亚撒黑、耶利末、约撒拔、以列、伊斯玛基雅、玛哈、比拿雅都是督理，在歌楠雅和他兄弟示每的手下，是希西家王和管理　神殿的亚撒利雅所派的。Jehiel, Azaziah, Nahath, Asahel, Jerimoth, Jozabad, Eliel, Ismachiah, Mahath, and Benaiah were overseers under the authority of Conaniah and his brother Shimei, by appointment of King Hezekiah and of Azariah the chief official of the house of God.

¹⁴守东门的利未人音拿的儿子可利，掌管乐意献与　神的礼物，发放献与耶和华的供物和至圣的物。Kore son of Imnah the Levite, the keeper of the East Gate, was in charge of the freewill offerings given to God, distributing the contributions to the LORD and the consecrated gifts.

¹⁵在他手下有伊甸、珉雅珉、耶书亚、示玛雅、亚玛利雅、示迦尼雅，在祭司的各城里供紧要的职任，无论弟兄大小，都按着班次分给他们。Under his authority, Eden, Miniamin, Jeshua, Shemaiah, Amariah, and Shecaniah faithfully distributed portions to their fellow priests in their cities, according to their divisions, old and young alike.

¹⁶按家谱，三岁以外的男丁，凡每日进耶和华殿、按班次供职的，也分给他；In addition, they distributed portions to the males registered by genealogy who were three years of age or older—to all who would enter the house of the LORD for their daily duties for service in the responsibilities of their divisions—

¹⁷又按宗族家谱分给祭司，按班次职任分给二十岁以外的利未人，and to the priests enrolled according to their families in the genealogy, as well as to the Levites twenty years of age or older, according to their responsibilities and divisions.

¹⁸又按家谱计算，分给他们会中的妻子、儿女；因他们身供要职，自洁成圣。The genealogy included all the little ones, wives, sons, and daughters of the whole assembly. For they had faithfully consecrated themselves as holy.

¹⁹按名派定的人要把应得的分给亚伦子孙，住在各城郊野、祭司所有的男丁和一切载入家谱的利未人。As for the priests, the descendants of Aaron, who lived on the farmlands around each of their cities or in any other city, men were designated by name to distribute a portion to every male among the priests and to every Levite listed by the genealogies.

希西家尽心去行，无不亨通

²⁰希西家在犹大遍地这样办理，行耶和华—他　神眼中看为善为正为忠的事。So this is what Hezekiah did throughout Judah. He did what was good and upright and true before the LORD his God.

²¹凡他所行的，无论是办　神殿的事，是遵律法守诫命，是寻求他的　神，都是尽心去行，无不亨通。He acted with all his heart in every work that he began in the service of the house of God, and in the law and the commandments, in order to seek his God. And so he prospered.

西拿基立入侵，希西家备战

¹这虔诚的事以后，亚述王西拿基立来侵入犹大，围困一切坚固城，想要攻破占据。After all these acts of faithfulness, Sennacherib king of Assyria came and invaded Judah. He laid siege to the fortified cities, intending to conquer them for himself.

²希西家见西拿基立来，定意要攻打耶路撒冷，When Hezekiah saw that Sennacherib had come to make war against Jerusalem,

³就与首领和勇士商议，塞住城外的泉源；他们就都帮助他。he consulted with his leaders and mighty men about stopping up the waters of the springs outside the city, and they helped him carry it out.

⁴于是有许多人聚集，塞了一切泉源，并通流国中的小河，说：“亚述王来，为何让他得着许多水呢？”Many people assembled and stopped up all the springs and the stream that flowed through the land. “Why should the kings of Assyria come and find plenty of water?” they said.

⁵希西家力图自强，就修筑所有拆毁的城墙，高与城楼相齐；在城外又筑一城，坚固大卫城的米罗，制造了许多军器、盾牌；Then Hezekiah worked resolutely to rebuild all the broken sections of the wall and to raise up towers on it. He also built an outer wall and reinforced the supporting terraces of the City of David, and he produced an abundance of weapons and shields.

与我们同在的更大

⁶设立军长管理百姓，将他们招聚在城门的宽阔处，用话勉励他们，说：Hezekiah appointed military commanders over the people and gathered the people in the square of the city gate. Then he encouraged them, saying,

⁷“你们当刚强壮胆，不要因亚述王和跟随他的大军恐惧、惊慌；因为与我们同在的，比与他们同在的更大。“Be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged before the king of Assyria and the vast army with him, for there is a greater One with us than with him.

⁸与他们同在的是肉臂，与我们同在的是耶和华—我们的　神，他必帮助我们，为我们争战。”百姓就靠犹大王希西家的话，安然无惧了。With him is only the arm of flesh, but with us is the LORD our God to help us and to fight our battles.” So the people were strengthened by the words of Hezekiah king of Judah.

亚述王的臣仆毁谤耶和华

⁹此后，亚述王西拿基立和他的全军攻打拉吉，就差遣臣仆到耶路撒冷见犹大王希西家和一切在耶路撒冷的犹大人，说：Later, as Sennacherib king of Assyria and all his forces besieged Lachish, he sent his servants to Jerusalem with a message for King Hezekiah of Judah and all the people of Judah who were in Jerusalem:

¹⁰“亚述王西拿基立如此说：‘你们倚靠什么，还在耶路撒冷受困呢？“This is what Sennacherib king of Assyria says: What is the basis of your confidence, that you remain in Jerusalem under siege?

¹¹希西家对你们说“耶和华—我们的　神必救我们脱离亚述王的手”，这不是诱惑你们，使你们受饥渴而死吗？Is not Hezekiah misleading you to give you over to death by famine and thirst when he says, ‘The LORD our God will deliver us from the hand of the king of Assyria?’

¹²这希西家岂不是废去耶和华的邱坛和祭坛，吩咐犹大与耶路撒冷的人说“你们当在一个坛前敬拜，在其上烧香”吗？Did not Hezekiah himself remove His high places and His altars and say to Judah and Jerusalem, ‘You must worship before one altar, and on it you shall burn sacrifices’?

¹³我与我列祖向列邦所行的，你们岂不知道吗？列邦的神何尝能救自己的国脱离我手呢？Do you not know what I and my fathers have done to all the peoples of the lands? Have the gods of these nations ever been able to deliver their land from my hand?

¹⁴我列祖所灭的国，那些神中谁能救自己的民脱离我手呢？难道你们的神能救你们脱离我手吗？Who among all the gods of these nations that my fathers devoted to destruction has been able to deliver his people from my hand? How then can your God deliver you from my hand?

¹⁵所以你们不要叫希西家这样欺哄诱惑你们，也不要信他；因为没有一国一邦的神能救自己的民脱离我手和我列祖的手，何况你们的神更不能救你们脱离我的手。’”So now, do not let Hezekiah deceive you, and do not let him mislead you like this. Do not believe him, for no god of any nation or kingdom has been able to deliver his people from my hand or from the hand of my fathers. How much less will your God deliver you from my hand!”

¹⁶西拿基立的臣仆还有别的话毁谤耶和华　神和他仆人希西家。And the servants of Sennacherib spoke further against the LORD God and against His servant Hezekiah.

¹⁷西拿基立也写信毁谤耶和华—以色列的　神说：“列邦的神既不能救他的民脱离我手，希西家的神也不能救他的民脱离我手了。”He also wrote letters mocking the LORD, the God of Israel, and saying against Him: “Just as the gods of the nations did not deliver their people from my hand, so the God of Hezekiah will not deliver His people from my hand.”

¹⁸亚述王的臣仆用犹大言语向耶路撒冷城上的民大声呼叫，要惊吓他们，扰乱他们，以便取城。Then the Assyrians called out loudly in Hebrew to the people of Jerusalem who were on the wall, to frighten and terrify them in order to capture the city.

¹⁹他们论耶路撒冷的　神，如同论世上人手所造的神一样。They spoke against the God of Jerusalem as they had spoken against the gods of the peoples of the earth—the work of human hands.

祷告蒙应允，亚述军覆灭

²⁰希西家王和亚摩斯的儿子先知以赛亚因此祷告，向天呼求。In response, King Hezekiah and the prophet Isaiah son of Amoz cried out to heaven in prayer,

²¹耶和华就差遣一个使者进入亚述王营中，把所有大能的勇士和官长、将帅尽都灭了。亚述王满面含羞地回到本国，进了他神的庙中，有他亲生的儿子在那里用刀杀了他。and the LORD sent an angel who annihilated every mighty man of valor and every leader and commander in the camp of the king of Assyria. So he withdrew to his own land in disgrace. And when he entered the temple of his god, some of his own sons struck him down with the sword.

²²这样，耶和华救希西家和耶路撒冷的居民脱离亚述王西拿基立的手，也脱离一切仇敌的手，又赐他们四境平安。So the LORD saved Hezekiah and the people of Jerusalem from the hands of King Sennacherib of Assyria and all others, and He gave them rest on every side.

²³有许多人到耶路撒冷，将供物献与耶和华，又将宝物送给犹大王希西家。此后，希西家在列邦人的眼中看为尊大。Many brought offerings to Jerusalem for the LORD and valuable gifts for Hezekiah king of Judah, and from then on he was exalted in the eyes of all nations.

希西家患病与心里骄傲

²⁴那时希西家病得要死，就祷告耶和华，耶和华应允他，赐他一个兆头。In those days Hezekiah became mortally ill. So he prayed to the LORD, who spoke to him and gave him a sign.

²⁵希西家却没有照他所蒙的恩报答耶和华；因他心里骄傲，所以忿怒要临到他和犹大并耶路撒冷。But because his heart was proud, Hezekiah did not repay the favor shown to him. Therefore wrath came upon him and upon Judah and Jerusalem.

²⁶但希西家和耶路撒冷的居民觉得心里骄傲，就一同自卑，以致耶和华的忿怒在希西家的日子没有临到他们。Then Hezekiah humbled the pride of his heart—he and the people of Jerusalem—so that the wrath of the LORD did not come upon them during the days of Hezekiah.

希西家的财富与水道

²⁷希西家大有尊荣资财，建造府库，收藏金银、宝石、香料、盾牌，和各样的宝器，Hezekiah had very great riches and honor, and he made treasuries for his silver, gold, precious stones, spices, shields, and all kinds of valuable articles.

²⁸又建造仓房，收藏五谷、新酒，和油，又为各类牲畜盖棚立圈；He also made storehouses for the harvest of grain and new wine and oil, stalls for all kinds of livestock, and pens for the flocks.

²⁹并且建立城邑，还有许多的羊群牛群，因为　神赐他极多的财产。He made cities for himself, and he acquired herds of sheep and cattle in abundance, for God gave him very great wealth.

³⁰这希西家也塞住基训的上源，引水直下，流在大卫城的西边。希西家所行的事尽都亨通。It was Hezekiah who blocked the upper outlet of the Spring of Gihon and channeled it down to the west side of the City of David. And Hezekiah prospered in all that he did.

巴比伦使者来访

³¹惟有一件事，就是巴比伦王差遣使者来见希西家，访问国中所现的奇事；这件事　神离开他，要试验他，好知道他心内如何。And so when ambassadors of the rulers of Babylon were sent to him to inquire about the wonder that had happened in the land, God left him alone to test him, that He might know all that was in Hezekiah’s heart.

希西家去世

³²希西家其余的事和他的善行都写在亚摩斯的儿子先知以赛亚的默示书上和犹大、以色列的诸王记上。As for the rest of the acts of Hezekiah and his deeds of loving devotion, they are indeed written in the vision of the prophet Isaiah son of Amoz in the Book of the Kings of Judah and Israel.

³³希西家与他列祖同睡，葬在大卫子孙的高陵上。他死的时候，犹大人和耶路撒冷的居民都尊敬他。他儿子玛拿西接续他作王。And Hezekiah rested with his fathers and was buried in the upper tombs of David’s descendants. All Judah and the people of Jerusalem paid him honor at his death. And his son Manasseh reigned in his place.

福音传到安提阿

¹⁹那些因司提反的事遭患难四散的门徒直走到腓尼基和塞浦路斯，并安提阿；他们不向别人讲道，只向犹太人讲。Meanwhile those scattered by the persecution that began with Stephen traveled as far as Phoenicia, Cyprus, and Antioch, speaking the message only to Jews.

²⁰但内中有塞浦路斯和古利奈人，他们到了安提阿也向希腊人传讲主耶稣（有古卷：也向说希腊话的犹太人传讲主耶稣）。But some of them, men from Cyprus and Cyrene, went to Antioch and began speaking to the Greeks as well, proclaiming the good news about the Lord Jesus.

²¹主与他们同在，信而归主的人就很多了。The hand of the Lord was with them, and a great number of people believed and turned to the Lord.

巴拿巴被差到安提阿

²²这风声传到耶路撒冷教会人的耳中，他们就打发巴拿巴出去，走到安提阿为止。When news of this reached the ears of the church in Jerusalem, they sent Barnabas to Antioch.

²³他到了那里，看见　神所赐的恩就欢喜，劝勉众人，立定心志，恒久靠主。When he arrived and saw the grace of God, he rejoiced and encouraged them all to abide in the Lord with all their hearts.

²⁴这巴拿巴原是个好人，被圣灵充满，大有信心。于是有许多人归服了主。Barnabas was a good man, full of the Holy Spirit and faith, and a great number of people were brought to the Lord.

巴拿巴找来扫罗

²⁵他又往大数去找扫罗，Then Barnabas went to Tarsus to look for Saul,

²⁶找着了，就带他到安提阿去。他们足有一年的工夫和教会一同聚集，教训了许多人。门徒称为“基督徒”是从安提阿起首。and when he found him, he brought him back to Antioch. So for a full year they met together with the church and taught large numbers of people. The disciples were first called Christians at Antioch.

亚迦布预言饥荒，门徒捐助犹太

²⁷当那些日子，有几位先知从耶路撒冷下到安提阿。In those days some prophets came down from Jerusalem to Antioch.

²⁸内中有一位，名叫亚迦布，站起来，借着圣灵指明天下将有大饥荒。（这事到克劳第年间果然有了。）One of them named Agabus stood up and predicted through the Spirit that a great famine would sweep across the whole world. (This happened under Claudius.)

²⁹于是门徒定意照各人的力量捐钱，送去供给住在犹太的弟兄。So the disciples, each according to his ability, decided to send relief to the brothers living in Judea.

³⁰他们就这样行，把捐项托巴拿巴和扫罗送到众长老那里。This they did, sending their gifts to the elders with Barnabas and Saul.
